Bodega Dali in München

I just really like it. Nice restaurant, super friendly service and the food is great. The only things I find a shame are that the drink prices are sometimes steep (0.33 beer and 0.2 Coke for around €4 if I remember correctly) and that you can only reserve for 2 hours. I know that the latter in particular is becoming the norm in Munich, but I still find it uncomfortable and not really appropriate when you have spent well over €100 in total that evening.

I like the bodega and have been there several times. I especially think the ambience is very nice. The warm tapas are great (for me especially the albongias, the chorizo ​​and the tortilla with Manchego). There are also very good cold starters - we all didn't think the very small mixed starter plate for 16(!) euros was good and was way too expensive. In general, the restaurant is expensive, but of course also good quality :) The service is great! I think the 2.5 hour rule is a bit of a shame, as you are no longer informed about it when making your reservation (it used to be). Of course I like to write reviews upon request from restaurants, but I think sending two emails about this is a bit much. :)

We had a wonderful evening at Bodega Dali. The restaurant has a very special charm and we felt very comfortable there. The staff is very friendly. The tapas are very tasty. We particularly enjoyed the aioli, mushrooms, bacon-wrapped dates, tortilla and olives. The taste of the sheep's cheese is not convincing. It literally tasted like nothing. All in all a great and delicious evening, I'll be back :)

It's a shame that you're only allowed to stay for 2 hours and are evicted from the table despite having a drink.

Service was super nice, location is cozy, unfortunately the food was very salty (and I normally eat salty) and what unfortunately detracted from the experience much more: the experience was sometimes monotonous, fish and potatoes were seasoned identically... a shame, but maybe yes, just an imperfect day in the kitchen

All in all, just very good - it was a perfect evening for two, which was accompanied by fantastic food and drinks; the service was very good and friendly..

i dont feel the price justifies the amount of food. We came as a group of 14 people and had to pick a menu valued at a minimimum of 35€ per Person. We were then served an amount of food that would usually sum up to just under 200€, if the dishes were to be ordered individually. However we ended up paying close to 500€ because we came as a group. I dont think that is justified, even though the food is delicious. In the future, I will look for other venues due to the price structure for groups exceeding 10 people.

Very rustic atmosphere, friendly service and delicious tapas. A small negative point: I didn't like the Papas Arrugadas with fried potatoes and the Mojo Rosso was a bit too thin or not very seasoned.

I've been to Bodega Dali several times and it's always nice there. The tapas taste excellent, the atmosphere is great and the service is very attentive.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately not all taps and dips were available. After 2.5 hours we had to change tables, but that wasn't a problem for us (there were six of us). Unfortunately, the Creme Catalan for dessert was no longer warm and the chocolate tart with a liquid center had cooled down and the center was no longer liquid when it was served. Anyone who knows how the Gran Duce D' Alba was served at Dali will unfortunately be disappointed. But still all in all 4 stars.

Update January 2025: Very friendly, attentive service that spontaneously found a place for us on a Friday evening. Good red house wine. You can probably do without the vegetarian starter plate. Apart from a few olives, cheese and a kind of tart, it doesn't contain anything exciting. The prawns, the bacon-wrapped dates were very good, the croquettes were mediocre. Card payments are apparently not very popular. We didn't understand the comment "Oh yes, it's okay, the evening is still long." You probably don't have to. Overall, still an absolute restaurant recommendation in Schwabing. --- Nice little bodega on Tengstrasse. Best for sharing small dishes. We recommend the minced meatballs in a spicy sauce, the sardines and the prawns in oil. The white house wine is less good. Unfortunately, the alternative Chardonnay on the menu was out. Charming, winding rooms in the semi-basement, very clean toilets.

A perfect evening, good food, good wine, great service and a cozy atmosphere, what more could you want...

Granted there was a a lot going on at the restaurant, however, it took us nearly 45 minutes to order our food. We had to ask another waiter to take our order as ours was busy elsewhere

The food was brought very quickly and tasted good. After the meal was cleared away, but no more requests for drinks were asked or similar service activities were provided. Unfortunately it was very cold in the rooms, so a longer stay (in addition to the lack of service) was unfortunately unthinkable.

Food and drinks very good. Staff very nice and child-friendly. One star deduction for the ambience due to the very cold air conditioning we were on. Otherwise absolutely recommended.

Portions are small, foods are not delicious compared to prices. There are not much variety of food which left us leaving the place hungru with a 65€ bill. I found the place from Google Maps and 4.5 points are misleading to be honest.

It's a visually simply furnished restaurant that doesn't exude a lot of coziness. However, the food and the service are very good. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was always friendly and very quick. Will definitely eat there again.

The food was great and the portions were good for 2 people. We were in a hidden table so it could be difficult to call the staff, but the girls were super nice ans worked really well. I will come back for sure!

As soon as you go downstairs and start listening to the Spanish music while entering the cosy restaurant, you’ll be greeted by the super friendly staff, who will bring you to your cosy table. The restaurant has different areas which allow for that private / cosy feeling. Food and drinks were delicious! Whole dinner felt like a trip to Spain.

Always an experience! Fantastic food and very good Spanish wines (even if the red ones in particular always come to the table a little too cold, but then quickly reach the temperature). Only the tables, which are always a bit "sticky", disturb the overall picture...

It wasn't my first time in the bodega, but unfortunately it was my last time. Service, well, small plates with cake forks inserted, no knives or cruet at the table. The sangria was very thin due to too much ice. The dips were good, but unfortunately the bread wasn't enough for 3 dips. The anchovies were also delicious, but the croquetas looked and tasted weak. The rest went like this... Conclusion, unfortunately they have dismantled, price / performance does not fit!

A very great restaurant, the food and wine were excellent. We had to wait a bit long (despite having a reservation) and the service staff seemed a bit stressed, but still very friendly - at the end we also got a delicious schnapps on the house. So always happy again!

I found the food to be average and didn’t find them special. Although the octopus was on point and the lava cake was good, the rest didn’t stand out. It was also very pricy for so little food especially 5 pieces of prawns for 13,90€ and a handful of calamari for 13€. For 2 people, we had 5 tapas dish, 1 lava cake, 1 radler small and 0,5L sangria and the bill came up to 85€. With tips, I paid 92€ and I find it very expensive. It will probably be my first and last time there.

Nice, but rather average. Food is nothing special or tastes more like convenience food; Sangria is poured out of huge plastic containers, which looks a bit disgusting :D Service is way too overwhelmed. Nice in itself, but wouldn't be my first choice to go out for a good meal and have an all-round quality, nice evening.

The food was generally good. One or two things didn't convince us (the chicken and the chorizo). But that is also a matter of taste. The smell in the toilets wasn't very pleasant, maybe you can put room fresheners there.

Everything was excellent, food, service, atmosphere. Shortly after eating you are asked to leave because the table is still occupied. You don't know in advance, dessert is no longer possible. A reason for us not to come anymore. Too bad.

Very cozy restaurant with lots of little niches that offer you nice privacy. Food super tasty and very original Spanish. I haven't been there for a long time and I'm thrilled that everything is still great after so many years. Be sure to make a reservation because it is very busy even during the week. That speaks for itself.

Music choice was not fitting to the atmosphere

Friendly staff, delicious tapas and excellent wine! Only the table we sat at was right next to the entrance and therefore not that comfortable, but we will keep that in mind the next time we make a reservation.

When we made the reservation online, no “time slot” was specified, but on site we were confronted with the fact that we would have to leave our reserved table after 90 minutes and then perhaps we could still take a seat at the bar. It was uncomfortable and so loud that conversation was almost impossible. The tapas selection was relatively small and the quality was below average. The ambience of the restaurant in a vaulted cellar was appealing. It's a shame that we won't be making a second visit due to the time slot, especially since it wasn't announced, and the below-average quality of the food.

A staircase to the basement leads to a winding combination of corridors, niches, smaller and larger rooms in which comfortable tables have been distributed. It's a miracle that the waitresses never lose track of things, but it works. They serve delicious tapas from a not too large but varied and sufficient selection. For me the best Spaniard I know in Munich.

The tapas were very tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. But the music was way too loud. You had to shout to have a conversation.

We were there a year ago, but since then it feels like things have slowed down. There are Spanish tapas here and a large selection of wines. The wine was good, the tapas were average. The Salsa Roja tasted like a tomato sauce like a pizza, the Croquetas de Jamin was very potato-heavy. Are savings being made here? We had to wait longer before we were allowed to order. But food came quite quickly. Overall, we left Bodega Dali with a mixed impression.

It all started beautifully, super friendly staff and the food was quite good, though the chicken with sesame seemed like it's crust was melting off. I know it was very busy and the waiters were on a tight schedule but to come 15 minutes before our reservation was up to tell us we had to take the food to go and gulp down our drinks because the next reservation was already there was a not so nice ending to a nice evening. Especially because we spent over 65 euro per person...

In general, poor quality and little quantity. We ordered the following tapas: - Ham croquettes (€7.80), which included 3 small croquettes, probably industrial. Little flavor and accompanied by tomato sauce, which should be unnecessary... - Squid (€11.20), consisting of 5 units of small squid with mayonnaise and squid ink - Padrón peppers (€7.90), the quantity was correct, although they did not have much flavor - Patatas bravas (€7.90), a thick quantity for the price, disappointing quality

Now after so many years we've finally made it and are annoyed... that we didn't find our way here sooner! So the food speaks for itself, all of the best quality. The ambience is of course also great. What you don't see in photos: The service is excellent! The entire staff keeps an eye on the guests, but no one does Something is missing at the moment. We loved it so much and we are definitely coming back soon! “5 stars plus”
