Cordo Bar in München

Enttäuschend. Die Kroketten hatten nichts mit traditionellen spanischen Schinkenkroketten zu tun; unsere waren mit Kartoffeln statt mit Béchamelsauce zubereitet. Die Baby-Calamari waren in Ordnung, aber viel zu paniert. Die iberische Schweineschulter war gut, aber insgesamt war das Essen für das Gebotene zu teuer. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, und die Atmosphäre war im Allgemeinen angenehm und einladend. Doch wenn das Essen in einem spanischen Restaurant nicht authentisch ist, verliert es viel. Besonders wichtig ist, darauf hinzuweisen, dass es sich bei den Gerichten um die Interpretationen des Küchenchefs von traditionellen Rezepten handelt.

Ich war bereits vor zwei Jahren schonmal in der Cordo Bar. Was mich damals erwartet hat, war erstklassig. Tolle Tapas mit viel Geschmack und ziemlich große Portionen. Damals gab es auch nur einen Ausrutscher mit dem Lachsbrot, ansonsten echt gut. Heute hat sich das Bild leider zum schlechteren verändert, was das Essen angeht. Service und Ambiente sind meiner Meinung nach weiterhin top. Auch im Sommer draußen zu sitzen, ist einfach wirklich schön. Wir haben eine ganze Reihe an Tapas bestellt, auch einige, die wir letztes Mal hatten. Die größte Enttäuschung waren dabei die Costillas. Letztes Mal schön saftig, dieses Mal einfach nur trocken und zäh. Auch die Gambas al Pil Pil waren eher langweilig und schwach im Geschmack. Der Rest war in Ordnung aber auch nicht überragend. Schade, dass es so geworden ist.

Essen so naja für den Preis. Keine Ahnung warum ein paar Häppchen Kartoffeln 8€ kosten müssen?

Hier kann man gut mit Freunden einen schönen Abend genießen. Service und Essen waren sehr gut. Die Tische sind nur extrem schmal. Das macht das ganze etwas unbequem.

Extrem lange Wartezeiten, unfreundliches Personal, unglaublich laut – meiden Sie diesen Ort, die Bars in der Nähe sind viel besser.

Auffällig ist, dass die meisten positiven Bewertungen nicht von Leuten wie Antonio Rodriguez oder Maria Gonzalez stammen. Deutsche finden es wahrscheinlich gut, aber Spanier aus Andalusien werden vom Essen enttäuscht sein; es ist weit entfernt von einer anständigen Tapas-Bar. Alles ist sehr deutsch geprägt, sogar die Preise – das typisch Deutsche an diesem Ort. Man geht dorthin, wenn man die Eltern, die Wärme der Heimat oder Freunde vermisst und sich nach Andalusien sehnt, aber man geht mit dem Gedanken: „Was mache ich hier eigentlich? Morgen fliege ich einfach zurück nach Spanien.“ Und was das Bier angeht: Lieber Barbesitzer, nehmt Alhambra oder Victoria in die Karte, denn wenn ich ein Augustiner möchte, gehe ich woanders hin. Service und Atmosphäre sind allerdings sehr gut.

Wir waren diese Woche in der Cordo Bar essen und ich kann nur in höchsten Tönen schwärmen. Vom Service bis zum Essen war alles hervorragend. Sehr leckere Tapas!!! Ich werden definitiv öfters wiederkommen.

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service schnell und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre sehr romantisch und entspannt. Der Preis ist etwas hoch, aber ab und zu ist es in Ordnung. :) Ich kann es weiterempfehlen.

Am 29.05.2026 gegen 23:40 Uhr habe ich die Cordobar besucht und leider den mit Abstand schlechtesten Service erlebt, den ich bisher in der Gastronomie erfahren habe. Bereits beim Betreten des Lokals wurden wir ignoriert. An der Bar waren Mitarbeiter mit privaten Gesprächen beschäftigt, ein anderer Mitarbeiter aß. Nachdem wir Platz genommen hatten, wurden uns weder Speisekarten gebracht noch wurden wir bedient. Erst als ich selbst nachfragte, erhielt ich in genervtem Ton die Antwort: „Einfach hinsetzen und warten.“ Als ich höflich auf die Situation hinwies, wurde ich nicht ernst genommen. Besonders zwei Mitarbeiter an der Bar reagierten grinsend und respektlos auf meine Beschwerde. Einer stellte sich später gemeinsam mit seinem Kollegen sogar als verantwortliche Aufsicht für die Schicht vor. Als ich mich jedoch weiter beschwerte, hieß es plötzlich, man sei ‚doch nur Aushilfe‘. Für mich war das besonders irritierend, nachdem dieselben Mitarbeiter sich zuvor als verantwortliche Aufsicht für die Schicht vorgestellt hatten. Da ich mich weder ernst genommen noch respektvoll behandelt fühlte, bat ich um die Kontaktdaten des Inhabers. Zunächst wurde behauptet, es gäbe keinen Chef. Erst nach mehrfacher Nachfrage erhielt ich von einem anderen Mitarbeiter eine Visitenkarte. Besonders unangenehm war, dass sich mehrere Mitarbeiter noch vor meinem Weggehen über mich und die Situation unterhielten, anstatt sich um eine Lösung zu bemühen. Ich habe das Lokal verlassen, ohne etwas zu bestellen. Einen derart respektlosen Umgang mit Gästen habe ich noch nie erlebt und werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne hier her. Essen sehr gut, nur das PLV der Weine ist schlecht.

Naja… für München ist es eine ganz gute Alternative, wenn man spanisches Essen vermisst. Es ist zwar nicht annähernd so gut, aber es tut's, haha. Wir haben vier Liter Sangria genossen, also können wir uns nicht beschweren.

Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und der Service schnell und freundlich. Das Essen ist jedoch geschmacklos und zu teuer. Die Auswahl an alkoholfreien Cocktails ist sehr begrenzt.

Gute Tapas Bar aber es geht auch mediterraner. Waren etwas enttäuscht was Preis Leistung angeht. Tapas lauwarm, wurden nach und nach serviert. Nächstes Mal suchen wir uns in München was anderes.

Die Tapas in der Cordo Bar sind durchweg hervorragend, von der Tortilla bis zu den grünen Paprikaschoten – einfach alles war köstlich. Mein absoluter Favorit war aber der Drink. Der Cocktail „Tinto de Verano“ war mit Abstand der beste Cocktail, den ich seit Langem getrunken habe. Das Personal ist aufmerksam, und obwohl wir dieses Mal lieber draußen gesessen hätten, ist die Atmosphäre drinnen einfach fantastisch.

Nette Bedienung, Essen ok aber nichts Besonderes. Insgesamt doch ziemlich teuer, wenn man 3-4 Tapas + Brot + Dessert ordern muss, um satt zu werden da die Portionen tlw. klein sind. Ambiente ok

Leider war ich insgesamt ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Tapas sind teurer als früher, dafür deutlich kleiner. Noch vor ein paar Jahren wurde ich mit 3 Tapas ganz gut satt, inzwischen ist das sogar für mich als Wenig-Esserin eher ein Amuse-Bouche. Und für ein paar Scheiben Ciabtta 4 Euro zu verlangen (nicht erst beim "Nachschlag", ist ohnehin eine Unverschämtheit!) Die Weine sind geschmacklich ok, aber keine 10 Euro (Minimum) pro Glas wert. Der Service wie das Ambiente sind gut, obschon nicht herausragend. Ich werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Richtig gutes Essen, tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr gemütlich und gute Bedienung, daher wirklich sehr angetan, wir kommen wieder, kann ich sehr empfehlen!

Ein Tapas-Lokal, das bis spät in die Nacht geöffnet hat und mit hervorragenden Gerichten und gutem Service begeistert. Der perfekte Ort, um mit Freunden zu teilen, aber auch ideal für einen kleinen Imbiss in kleineren Gruppen. Ich hatte mehrere Teller, darunter Lachs, Brot, Pimientos, Chorizo, Käsebällchen und einen köstlichen Schokoladenkuchen. Ein sehr entspannter Ort.

Ich habe schon viele Tapas-Lokale in der Stadt ausprobiert, aber dieses hier war mit Abstand das beste. Alles war superlecker und die Sangria schmeckte richtig gut, ganz anders als in vielen anderen Lokalen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Aufmerksamer Service, leckere Getränke

Früher mal top gewesen, inzwischen die Leistung extrem runter gegangen! Die Preise sind lächerlich in die Höhe geschossen und die Portionen sind sehr klein geworden. Das Baguette muss jetzt auch fast immer dazu bestellt werden. ZB für ein paar Scheiben Seranoschinken knapp 14 Euro ohne Baguette dazu. Zu zweit 70 Euro gezahlt und hungrig wieder raus gegangen. Dazu lange Wartezeiten weil extremer Personalmangel. Hat sich leider im Gegensatz zu vor 5 Jahren sehr zum negativen verändert. Das einzig positive, immer noch sehr lecker.

Essen leider überteuert für die Portionsgrößen (Handvoll Garnelen für knapp 15€ zB) , zumal geschmacklich auch eher Mittelmaß (Aioli war ungenießbar bitter - ein Nogo in einem Tapas-Restaurant). Immerhin Service super und die Aioli wurde ohne Murren nicht berechnet. Und die Küche hat lange offen, was ein Pluspunkt ist. Ich würde hier eher mit Freunden bzw. mit einem Gruppe hingehen, wenn's gesellig sein soll, und es nicht hauptsächlich auf's Essen ankommt.

Sehr gutes Essen und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Mein persönliches Highlight war die Paella – perfekt zubereitet, geschmackvoll und einfach köstlich. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Diese Bar setzt die Messlatte vor allem hinsichtlich dem Service und der Freundlichkeit der Bedienungen. So etwas habe ich selten gesehen. Darüber hinaus waren die Tapas und der Wein umwerfend!

Nach einer Woche in München und der Salzburger Region wollten wir mal eine andere Küche probieren und fanden dieses lebhafte und charmante spanische Restaurant. Alle Tapas waren sehr lecker. Wir bestellten Oliven, Manchego, Chorizo, Knoblauchgarnelen, Baby-Calamari, Padrón, Artischocken und gegrillten Iberico-Fisch. Die Cocktails waren gut. Die Sangria war zwar nicht die beste, die ich je getrunken habe, aber sie war trotzdem lecker. Das Servicepersonal ist etwas klein. Man muss etwas warten, bis man bestellt und bedient wird. Tische und Teller werden nicht abgeräumt, man muss daran erinnern. Die Atmosphäre war sehr lebhaft. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen.

The food was okay, we enjoyed it, but everything was completely overpriced for the portion sizes. For example: A small plate of potato wedges for €8.80. A glass of house wine €9.50, a glass of tea €4.50 (more expensive than beer).

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend in der Cordo Bar. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und wir wurden in einem geschmackvoll eingerichteten und liebevoll dekorierten Lokal herzlich empfangen. Das Essen war insgesamt gut, wenn auch mit einigen kleinen Schwächen. Die meisten vegetarischen Tapas waren frittiert – daran ist nichts auszusetzen, aber es wäre gut, das vorher zu wissen. Die Patatas Bravas waren enttäuschend (einfache Pommes mit etwas Tomatensoße), und sowohl die Kroketten als auch die Chorizo ​​wurden fast kalt serviert, was den Genuss etwas trübte. Positiv hervorzuheben ist hingegen der perfekt gegarte und gut gewürzte Pulpo, der mit einer leckeren Aioli serviert wurde. Auch die Padrón-Paprika entsprachen genau unseren Erwartungen. Die Preise sind zwar nicht niedrig, aber nördlich der spanischen Grenze findet man kaum wirklich günstige Tapas – keine Überraschung also.

We'd been to Cordo Bar a few times and, while we found it quite expensive, it was still a pleasant experience. At the end of November, I booked a table for four for New Year's Eve, starting at 6:15 pm, as we only wanted to eat and then go home. Someone from Cordo Bar called to ask how long we planned to stay – we agreed on 8:30 pm – when she then said, "We've already told you about the €15 reservation fee per person for New Year's Eve?" In short, I canceled. Frankly, I find it extremely outrageous to charge a group that only wants to eat €60 – just for the privilege of being there! If we were staying until 2:00 am, I could have understood it somewhat, but this is completely unjustifiable. And all this at a restaurant that's already expensive for what it offers. So, our last visit there was...

Für das Gebotene zu teuer und nicht besonders authentisch. Dass es keine spanischen Biere gab, hat mich überrascht. Die Kroketten waren die größte Enttäuschung; sie schmeckten überhaupt nicht wie Schinkenkroketten. Immerhin war das Personal freundlich.

Finally the place in Munich without gigantic portions 😅 really missed Spanish peppers and finally got them. Bit too much salt for me but food was tasty. Croquettes were really good, just sauce was but too much flavor killer. Octopus could be bit less overcooked, but overall enjoyed. Must try dates in bacon coat 🤌🏻🤌🏻 was very tasty. And of course service so friendly and nice 100+ points to that Italian guy. Atmosphere was actually bit dead not Spanish at all, but could be because of timing as well.

End-of-year meal with colleagues. We were warmly welcomed in a pleasant setting, though not particularly traditional. The tapas were good and the Rioja was enjoyable.

There were eight of us at the tapas bar. The ambiance was cozy – relaxed atmosphere, pleasant lighting, and good music. The food arrived quickly and tasted great. Unfortunately, the portions were too small for the rather high price. What really spoiled the evening, however, was the service: attentive at first, then completely disinterested. No one asked if we wanted more drinks, even though all eight of our glasses had been empty for quite some time. Instead, we had to go to the bar several times to order more – while the waitstaff chatted amongst themselves. In short: the food was tasty, but overpriced for the portion size. The service was disappointing and inattentive. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right – I definitely won't be going back.

I celebrated my birthday there. We had a private room upstairs with access to the rooftop terrace. The ambiance is really lovely, both inside and out! The tapas platters, including the appetizers, were delicious! All 18 of us found something we liked on the platters and were completely satisfied. Of course, alcohol was also on offer that evening, and there was a good selection of cocktails and shots on the menu. Thanks again to Thuy for the insider tip about the vodka shot! I'll definitely be back :)

Probably one of the best tapas bars you can find in Munich. To be honest, the flavors weren’t quite as impressive as the ones I experienced during my recent trip to Seville and Madrid, but for Munich, it was definitely a solid spot. I especially enjoyed the ribs, they were excellent. The shrimp, however, was a bit too oily, so you might want to skip that one.

We were there on the weekend. I loved the wide selection of dishes – especially Iberico, which is rare in restaurants, and it was also very delicious. The cocktails were also delicious. The server was also quick and friendly! What I personally didn't like, and honestly, didn't understand, was that they only served two churros. What a shame.

I love the Cordobar, but somehow they've lost their quality. The food often comes cold; recently, I had chanterelle mushrooms on flank steak. When asked, the waiter just shrugged. The waiter, in fact, only came when called several times. We would have liked more, but his attention prevented us. It's a shame. The concept is good, fits well in the neighborhood, and is popular. Perhaps a slip-up?

The server was super friendly and funny. He saved the place. There was an animal in my cocktail! So I got a new one. The food wasn't anything special; I expected a bit more spice and freshness. The free shot and the chocolate piece were absolutely delicious.

Tapas in the Glockenbachviertel sounded promising, but ultimately proved a bit disappointing. Consistently delicious, traditional local dishes in small portions—the motto of tapas cuisine—is a compelling idea. But when the tortilla turns out to be a small slice of cake and the ribs look like a child's portion, the whole thing is certainly tasty, but not really filling. Then order more tapas, you might say. But then I end up with prices that are significantly too high for what's on offer.

Of all the Spanish restaurants I've tried in Munich, this is by far the most authentic. The food is delicious and not overly expensive (compared to other restaurants in the city). The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and decor, without falling into stereotypes or clichés. The staff is very friendly and attentive: they had no problem accommodating us at a specific table I requested for an anniversary dinner I booked. 100% recommended, I'll definitely be back again.

We were there for a drink and a celebration in a convivial atmosphere. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was fantastic – our waiter, Matze, not only kept our glasses full around the clock, but also created a truly great atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

Friendly service and a nice place to sit (we sat outside), but the prices were far too high for the small portions, and the quality wasn't satisfactory either. We had a "platter" for two people, €47... There are far better tapas bars in Munich with better value for money.

We just had 2 cocktails: 2 Gin Basil Smash. They were nicely presented and tasted very good, a bit expensive though... Unfortunately, getting the bill took almost as long as drinking the cocktails 😕 even though the bar wasn't full.

Authentic Spanish cuisine at fair, reasonable prices

Polite service. The food is delicious, the portions are average. The prices correspond to the quality. Overall, I was satisfied.

Not convinced anyone involved in this restaurant has ever actually been to Spain. Our "patatas bravas" was oven chips and dip... priced at €8.80. The "sangria" recipe was secret... but involved very little red wine and a whole lot of an unidentified cheap liquor. The "pan con..." was two thin slices of what tasted like supermarket baguette with a thin scraping of mediocre spread. Didn't finish any of it. €40 I'd have rather saved. Only redeeming feature was our friendly weiter. Maybe stop by for an Augustiner Bier, but don't bother with the food.

A place to enjoy: delicious tapas, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We had a great time at this vibrant tapas bar. The atmosphere was lively, and the selection of tapas was impressive—though a bit on the pricier side. The real standouts of the evening were the drinks; the Basil Smash and Solero cocktails were exceptional and definitely worth trying. The only downside was the seating arrangement. We were given a table for a limited two-hour slot, after which we had to move to the bar. While the bar area was fine, it did feel like a compromise and slightly disrupted the flow of the evening. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A great spot for quality tapas and cocktails—just be aware of the time limits on tables.

The price was a bit steep for us, but the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff.

Fantastic food, I don't understand the bad reviews. The tapas are gigantic! Artichokes, prawns, octopus, calamari... absolutely delicious! The wine is also highly recommended!

It was just okay, nothing absolutely special or amazing. But it was the quickest food from order to table. You should give this place a try, just don’t let the high points make you think this place is absolutely amazing

The menu listed "croquetas de jamón," but we were clearly served falafel – without any ham. When we pointed this out, the staff didn't understand and reacted dismissively. We knew this wasn't an authentic Spanish restaurant, but what we experienced here was very disappointing. The service was generally slow and somewhat unfriendly. The food itself was okay, but nothing special – especially not when you get something different than what you ordered. The restaurant has declined significantly over the years – it used to be better, and we definitely wouldn't recommend it!

All and all nice location with a nice atmosphere. FOOD AND PRICES: The food is good but not great and it is unfortunately definitely way too overpriced (about 30%-40 more) compared to similar tapas restaurants with much better food. Prices do not justify either the quality or the tapa size. That in itself does not make it a good choice for food. ATMOSPHERE: It is not run by spaniards and it is not a classical tapas place. It is a trendy, regular German bar for expensive drinks that happen to sell tapas. Service was good and friendly.
