Always good idea, great food and atmosphere

The ambiance was top-notch, the food was 95% top-notch, with something for all tastes, and the blonde waitress was also excellent. Prices were "fair for Munich." But the name could be improved.

We had a wonderful evening with really good tapas and good wine. The service was always very attentive, and they asked if we wanted the next tapas now or if we'd rather wait. Perfect all around. Thank you.

To be honest, after all the reviews, I actually expected more. Some tapas are typically Spanish in name, but not in execution. Croquetas – regardless of the filling – aren't large coins, but rather croquettes (they still tasted good). Gambas al ajillo require the oil to still be bubbling when served. I also missed gazpacho, tortilla, or mussels. I actually found the aioli disappointing... which made me wonder if there was any garlic in it at all. In the end, it tasted like seasoned mayo. The cold tapas from the display case (see pictures) didn't blow me away either. The service was friendly and attentive, but I deducted a rating because there was one incorrect order, and the error was the server's. The order was "grilled baby calamari," which is clearly listed only as a main course. A second person ordered "grilled calamari," which was the tapas option. The waitress brought the tapas option twice, and when we pointed out her mistake, she said it was our fault; she had specifically asked whether it was grilled or fried, and that was only available with the tapas option. Firstly, she didn't ask, and secondly, she knows the difference better than a first-time guest. So the more sensible question would have been "as tapas or as a main course." My colleague didn't want to make a fuss, so he chose the tapas option and ordered two more tapas. He didn't even get a "thank you" for that. It was a bit pathetic.

The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and quick. Unfortunately, the tapas were just average. They were okay, but nothing more. Nothing exceptional or particularly flavorful; there are better ones in Munich.

We had great service. And the food...there was nothing that didn't taste excellent. Everything was freshly prepared.

I found it a bit loud for comfortable conversation, but everything else was truly worthy of 5 stars! I'll definitely be back.

Truly delicious tapas with a huge selection! The prices are absolutely reasonable; you really can't complain. We sat outside, the atmosphere was great, and the service was really friendly. The waitress was incredibly attentive. Everything came quickly and was beautifully presented.

Unfortunately, the food on our last visit didn't impress us. Our seat in a dark corner and the open door in the cool outside temperature didn't help compensate for the mediocre food. Of the six different tapas, only one was truly impressive. Unfortunately, that's not acceptable for the price.

Superb tapas, both classic and freshly reinterpreted. Very friendly staff and an extremely cozy atmosphere. Sharing makes sharing twice as much fun.

Overall, the EATapaS Bar & Restaurant was fine for me - the food was really tasty and well balanced in terms of taste. However, I had problems with the atmosphere. The room was very dark, which is okay in principle, but our place was in a kind of triangle that was simply too dark for me. In addition, there was a very high background noise - the background noise in the restaurant was so loud that it was really tiring to have a conversation with the person I was talking to. The space was also quite cramped, so it almost felt like you were at a communal table. This made it a bit too restless for me to have a relaxed, communicative meal.

I've never been disappointed coming here. Sangria is good, espresso Martini was my favorite in Munich and the food is always a delight!

Food is always delicious here. We didn't have to wait long either. I found the portion sizes and quality to be consistent in terms of price/performance. Unfortunately, I personally always find it very loud in the restaurant. When it's full, you can't get along well with more than two people. Service was ok, but could still be improved in terms of attention.

Great food! Large selection of authentic tapas, delicious cocktails and drinks and the service is great. Very attentive and friendly employees. One of my favorite restaurants in Munich!

If it pretends to look like a Spanish restaurant...it is not at all. We ordered a fairly wide variety of tapas and it was a disappointment. Garlic shrimp that were raw, aioli that was mayonnaise, the bravas potatoes (the brava sauce was not brava sauce), raw padrón peppers, etc...that's a brief summary. After all, those of us who dined were sick to our stomachs for 3 days. Only as an exception, we received good service. Not recommended.

This place is amazing. The only issue was the portion sizes. They were very small yet quite expensive. Staff were very helpful in speaking English and the vibes were top notch

Friendly service, good tappas with a sufficient selection. Price-performance varies greatly for individual dishes and in my opinion not always suitable (e.g. melon fea salad). You sit outside directly on the street, but it doesn't bother you. Overall, good food and a successful excursion into Spanish cuisine.

The service was nice. Unfortunately, there was only one person present for the entire store. The food was very tasty, the bread was sometimes too hard. The atmosphere was pleasant, unfortunately the tables are very close to each other.

Went there for dinner this evening and had a lovely evening overall. When paying, the waiter was so rude that he suggested the language to us. I won't comment further. Never come to eat there again.

A friend of mine suggested this restaurant and it does have everything you expect from a Spanish tapas: good Spanish wine and cocktails, great selection of the tapas and sweets options. Staff is friendly. The space itself is not super big so I would say it much better for small groups of guests.

Came hungry, left happy! Ordered a bunch of the tapas and enjoyed them all. The bread they serve is fantastic, nice crust with soft center. Perfect for some of the oils and sauces from the tapas. Loved the house made lemonade. Pleasant and not filled with a ton of sugar (like most places). Staff was super friendly and cool. Looking forward to coming back again.

Came home from work late at night and was very hungry. Eatapas bar and restaurant open until 1:00 a.m. according to Google. When you ask for a small tapas at 11:30 p.m. you are turned away with a stupid remark “if you look like that” and a malicious smile.

The food was tasty, although I would not recommend if you actually want Spanish tapas.... Most shocking I found that they didn't serve tap water, after we had just spent nearly €200 on food and wine. I can't support this and will not go back.

The food is great, very good value for money. The service was friendly and on point. Points are deducted for the ambience. It was very loud. Tip: reserve in advance. Even during the week it is packed to capacity.

With a menu without croquetas and potato tortillas, the restaurant disappoints by serving a paella that looks like risotto. To top it off, I got sick from the food. I won't go back.

We ordered tapas for starters and paella for dinner. The main course came before the tapas. We had to remember that we had ordered something for the starter. Unfortunately, the texture of the rice was that of risotto. In my dish, there were more carrots than seafood, unlike my wife's dish, which leads me to conclude that the quantities are unbalanced and that you need to be lucky.

Was there on Sunday with my partner. The food was super tasty, especially the patatas were great! Nice atmosphere and above all the conditions were very accommodating and friendly (I think her name was Emma :)) We would love to come back!

Keine Reservierung mehr ohne Kreditkarte, warum?????? Begrenzte Aufenthaltsdauer ,Reservierung gilt nur für ein Zeitfenster von ca 1 1/2 Stunden. Essen war prima , allerdings wer gemütlich sitzen bleiben und noch ein wenig trinken und reden will ist dort falsch. Bestellen, Essen, bezahlen und raus, der nächste bitte! Gemütlich genießen ist anders. EATapas wird gerade etwas gehypt , ich denke das wird sich auch geben wenn man weiter so mit den Gästen umgeht. Zum Glück gibt es noch viel andere Lokale, wo der Besuch mehr Spass macht. In München gibt es noch 10 andere Tapas Lokale mit sehr guten Tapas.

We had reserved, which is highly recommended. Some guests were Spanish or South American, which always encourages us. We ate a very high quality and filling meal, the service was very friendly and accommodating.

6 verschiedene Tapas ( größtenteils warm), alle super lecker, super freundliche und fixe Bedienungen, Preis/Leistung durchaus angemessen - warum nicht volle Punktzahl? Es waren Tapas, die man normalerweise überall bekommt ( das soll wirklich keine Kritik sein!), aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Die Geräuschentwicklung im Restaurant ist nicht gerade gering, viele überwiegend junge Leute (wir haben mit Mitte 50 den Altersdurchschnitt extrem in die Höhe gehoben 😉). Ne ohne Jux: Wir waren wirklich zufrieden und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!!🥰👍

Were they there first... Wouldn't rather come back... We took the menu -Unfortunately the starters weren't really tapas but rather hummus or tuna etc. - next time we will order all the tapas individually! -The main courses were really delicious - When ordering a bottle of white wine, unfortunately there was no cooler - Restaurant was very cold - some other guests were sitting in the restaurant with jackets Actually didn't convince me! However, the staff was very accommodating!

Super Tapas Restaurant. Besonders geeignet, wenn man zusammen die Tapas teilt. Sehr nette Bedienungen und das Essen kam recht schnell. Kann bei Stoßzeiten etwas laut sein drinnen.

Da wir spanisches Essen lieben, schauen wir bei Städtetrips immer, ob es ein spanisches Lokal oder eine Tapas-Bar gibt, in der wir mediterranes Flair genießen können. Der Städteführer empfahl dieses Lokal und hat nicht zuviel versprochen: Sehr aufmerksamer, stets unauffällig präsenter Service, der sich auch für einen Small Talk Zeit nahm, ausgesprochen leckere Tapas -die Paella, die ich bei unserem zweiten! Besuch dort genossen habe, war ein Gedicht - und eine zwar überschaubare, aber exquisite Weinkarte haben die beiden Besuche in dem Restaurant zum Erlebnis werden lassen. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, ohne jeden Zeitdruck, und als Gast fühlt man sich jederzeit willkommen. Auch wenn man das Preisniveau durchaus als gehoben bezeichnen darf, werde wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch in München auf jeden Fall dort wiedr einkehren.

Wir waren dort mit einer Firmenfeier, das Essen war in Ordnung aber leider nur sehr einfach gehalten. Es gab Tapas und da nicht mal eine schöne Auswahl, schade eigentlich. Essen kann man dort gerne einmal und es ist für einen Abend in Ordnung, aber es lohnt sich nicht zwei mal hinzugehen.
