After dining here with friends on Easter Sunday, we returned on Easter Monday because the food, service, and ambiance were simply fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays.

Overall, a solid Italian restaurant with a few strengths, but also small weaknesses. The pizza was fine - taste-wise okay, but not really anything special. At least it's much better than the “döner kebab pizza” you get from some other places. But definitely fair for the price. The pasta, on the other hand, was really tasty - you can tell that they use fresh ingredients and attention to detail. That was definitely the highlight of the evening and enhanced the visit. It's nice that they even have pasta on the menu, that's definitely a plus. What was unfortunately quite negative: a glass of wine was charged twice on the bill, and one beer too many was listed. Overall, this meant that we paid around 20 euros more, which is of course not a small amount. This can happen, of course - but it would have been desirable that you either noticed the error yourself or responded accommodatingly and attentively to a complaint. Nevertheless: Nice atmosphere, friendly service, good pasta. If you keep an eye on the bill, you can definitely spend a nice evening here.

We had reserved a table for 7:00 p.m. this evening. It was correspondingly full. However, we were served straight away and got our food after about forty-five minutes (there were six of us). Regardless of whether it was pizza or pasta, both were excellent in terms of taste and preparation. The slightly higher prices can be made up for by the taste and the excellent service. All in all a 5 star experience.

Very polite personnel, even though one waiter was quite unfriendly and kitchen mixed up my order and brought another kind of pizza, which took even more time to prepare mine. Very tiny premise, but there are tables outside. Pizza was well prepared, but tasted average. Very loud when all tables booked and it's hard not to become a part of someone else's conversation. But if you like Italy, provably the atmosphere is close to original 😄

We had vellum carpaccio and normal carpaccio as a starter, very good, and as a main course, spaghetti fruit di mare was impressive. You have to try it and the Awesome service. We will return

As always, delicious food in our second living room. The price-performance ratio is unique in the city. And the service is extremely professional anyway (if you don't believe it, just go to one of the hipster shops...)

We spontaneously stopped by La Luce Due for a late lunch for the first time. Modern, cozy decor. We studied the menu at our leisure; the waiters weren't pressuring us...very pleasant. Very tasty selection...it was hard to choose. Italian bread, olives, aioli, and really good olive oil. Vitello Tonnato was very tasty, as was the baked eggplant... The pizza was very large, generously topped...and well-cooked. The portions were generous, but we still couldn't resist dessert after the espresso. The best panna cotta I've ever eaten...sweetened just right, with a plummy consistency. We'll be back next time we're in Düsseldorf and will enjoy the menu. The service was also friendly and quick. A successful, late, gourmet lunch. :)

I have been coming to this restaurant for years, as it has become my go-to Italian spot. Besides the excellent food, which is enriched with seasonal specialties, they offer an outstanding selection of wines and beverages. The service is exceptionally attentive and warm, with a family-like atmosphere where individual needs are genuinely considered. Every visit feels welcoming and comfortable, which is why I always look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here recently. A super cozy atmosphere and absolutely Italian furnishings, as if I were in Italy. Service - warm and very professional. Eating - an experience. The mixed starter was just perfect. Main course - the best pasta with prawns that I have ever tried. House wine was great. Here you can actually enjoy real Italian cuisine

I had the pleasure of visiting this Italian restaurant, which has been operating in Düsseldorf since 1992, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The menu offers a variety of traditional Italian dishes, all freshly prepared. The homemade pasta and delicious pizzas are particularly recommended. The octopus carpaccio from the seasonal menu is highly recommended! Il locale, con il suo ambiente elegante e accogliente, trasmette subito un senso di calore e raffinatezza. Il servizio è impeccabile: il personale è altamente professionale, ma anche cordiale e disponibile. Ogni piatto viene presentato con una cura quasi artistica, e il cameriere ci ha sapientemente guidato nella scelta dei vini, suggerendo abbinamenti che hanno esaltato ulteriormente il gusto dei piatti.

Kleiner aber feiner Italiener! Wir waren bisher schon oft da und ich habe verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert… alles was ich bestellt habe, war mehr als lecker. Auf meine Wünsche wurde immer eingegangen und das Personal war immer sehr nett und hat mir auch öfters bei Entscheidungen geholfen das richtige Gericht oder den perfekten Wein dazu zu finden! Am besten. An reserviert einen Tisch vorher und man sollte am besten. Ich’s mit dem Auto anreisen.. wenn doch sollte man sich auf eine längere Parkplatz Suche einstellen.
