Lasagna Bolognese, 10 out of 10!

We were there for work, and there were about 20 people. Not everyone had even ordered a drink yet, but the drinks were already brought, so it was very quick. We didn't have to wait long for the food either, even with such a large group. The salad I ordered was really delicious. I deducted one point because I didn't think the restroom was very clean.

Very good service, but the Italian food was average. The pizza was like something from a street stall, the lasagna had too much cheese, and the salmon tagliatelle had too much cream.

The salad was really nice. I added mango, Walnuts and cream cheese as topping. But I would say cream cheese wasn't working well. The rest was great and I really liked it. The chicken for the Cesar salad was a bit too salty.

I'm worried I'll never be able to eat anywhere else again. The location is amazing!! Every nook and cranny is designed with attention to detail and passion for this restaurant. The food was the best Italian food I've ever had in my life (and I've been to Rome and Italy before and actually eaten there, but never THAT GOOD). And then Luis, our waiter. Full of joy, always a kind word for the guests and always keeping an eye on something, present and present, but never intrusive. Even if it means an hour or more away for us...we'll be back. By the way, I'd really love to know where you got those little glasses (see picture) with the woman's silhouette? They were so beautiful, and I really want to get one for myself 😅

Very good italian restaurant! Good pizza with tasty tomato sauce and crispy dough and delicious, fresh pasta— especially lasagne and tagliatelle al tartufo, amazing, one of the best we ever had! The interior is very quiet, clean, and modern. We visited this place twice, and the service was very nice! The prices are also cheap and restaurant is nearby the Charlie checkpoint.

We went to this restaurant last night with a large group of 25 people, including some children, and it was simply perfect! Despite the size of the group, everything went smoothly and quickly. The food arrived incredibly quickly, was fresh, hot, and simply delicious. Everyone loved it – from the adults to the kids. The service was absolutely top-notch: friendly, attentive, and professional – we felt completely at home. The ambiance was also very inviting and tastefully decorated, just right for a relaxed evening with friends and family. As a special highlight, we were given a round of limoncello on the house at the end – a wonderful gesture that rounded off the evening perfectly. We definitely recommend it – we'll definitely be back when we come to Berlin!

I constantly alternate between the pizza spinaci with artichokes and the pasta spinaci. The service is fantastic, and the food comes quickly and is delicious. Highly recommended!

The shop seems to no longer exist! Unfortunately, we walked there for nothing. There's a notice in the window saying a kebab shop has opened there!

The food is good, no question. But it doesn't match the price. Considering the price, the food should be very good, with high-quality ingredients. The interior and ambiance appear very classy, but it's more show than substance and feels like a hotel lobby.

Amazing pizza! Great service and good price

Apparently the restaurant claims that bad reviews are defamation and google removes them, that’s why it has this high rating. We visited it with my friend, he left a review that the restaurant is mediocre and today he got an email from google that this is defamation. An opinion now is considered to be a defamation. So, the restaurant is overpriced with the most average food.

The Italian restaurant next to Checkpoint Charlie serves delicious Italian food, including pasta, pizza, burgers... I especially recommend the truffle white sauce pasta.

The house pizza is delicious, the quality is simply top-notch. The pana cotta was also a treat. Definitely recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian food.

La Gino is a restaurant with a good location near the subway. The decor is very elegant and high-quality. The food was exceptionally good, but very reasonably priced for the quality served. I was there with six people, and we paid €105 for drinks and main courses, which I consider reasonable. Overall, our impression of the establishment was very good.

Pasta was good but a bit under seasoned. Service is good but could use a little improvement. For example serving coke in bottle is not very customary in a restaurant. Also service felt a little rushed. Other than that, very good experience in overall.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The food is delicious. I haven't had such a good carbonara in a long time. For dessert, there was a tiramisu, which was also very tasty.

Fantastic food and excellent service! I recently visited the restaurant and loved it! The food was excellent – ​​especially the bacon and beef Burger that was incredibly fresh and delicious. The food was okay, but the service was only interested in tips right from the start and you were laughed at if you just rounded up and “didn’t tip enough.” A waiter commented: “no more money?”. Several such comments were made while paying.

We planned to have dinner somewhere near Checkpoint Charlie. Without reservation, without plan. At some point we stumbled upon this restaurant. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, it makes a spacious, clean impression from the inside. We promptly got a table (with 5 people) and were served SO friendly (I think the good man's name is Luis), I haven't been served so friendly and warmly in a long time. Pizza very tasty! We ate there as part of our holiday and were warmly welcomed and served, even though we showed up just before the store closed. The portion was very reasonable for the price and the owner is a very charming and funny person. The atmosphere is great and we felt very comfortable!
