The food was wonderful, sumptuous and delicious. Both waiters were extremely accommodating, very friendly (and really so pretty to look at ;) If you like salmon a little more well-done, you should specify this when ordering. The highlight is of course “The Fish Platter”, which, for example, should only be ordered for 4 people if there are 6 people, as it is very generous. Since we ate outside, the Schönhauser Allee acoustics were of course not great (people with poor hearing would prefer to eat in the restaurant), but we really liked the mix of fish shop and fish restaurant.

The oysters were amazing and delicious, but the rest of our order left us a bit disappointed. You can tell the fish is fresh and the food is good, but the prices are a bit steep for what you get. We will be back for the oysters

The perfect meal is NOT a matter of luck there, but rather standard. Quality and taste excellent! Changing inserts is no problem, of course WITHOUT surcharge! You can sit outside very nicely! The price is not a bargain, but is justified by the very good quality. If you want to eat good fish 🐟, this is the right place for you! Best food in 2022 too. Unfortunately, it has become very difficult to contact the staff because many of them don't understand a word of German. Incomprehensible in the capital of Germany. The service was very friendly, but also very uncoordinated. You get the feeling there are just too many people involved. There is only fish and nothing else. The food was super tasty. The portions are large. The staff is very friendly. There are tables outside, although on a busy street. Highly recommended for fish lovers.

Das Lokal gehört zu einem Fischgeschäft. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Fischgerichten für jeden Geschmack. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Man kann auch draußen sitzen, aber es ist eine vielbefahrene Straße.

Friday - afternoon 2:30 p.m. Seriously special! I and we always feel very comfortable here in this place. The service is particularly courteous and friendly, and the kitchen conjures up the most delicious dishes using fresh ingredients. From arriving, staying, enjoying real Berlin neighborhood cuisine with delicious! BAM!

Very tasty fresh fish and seafood. If you sit outside you have the quite loud S2 constantly driving past. But the food makes up for it.

This review has been deleted due to defamation. It had more than 7,000 views at this point. The boss commented on my review several times with embarrassing answers and even slandered my local fish shop. Embarrassing thing like that Uncomfortable shop, boss insults his employees and no prices on the fish. I have never come across tuna priced at 95 euros per kilo in any fish shop. This is an outrage. I didn't really want to go shopping here, but unfortunately my local fish shop was on vacation. Too bad about the money. Very professional answer by the way. To assume that the quality is bad is pretty cheeky. Even if your fish were the best in the world, that doesn't justify the price being almost three times higher than others. Kind regards, I find it really remarkable how much they assume. I've traveled a lot, but I've never seen a price of almost 100 euros per kilo for tuna. I'm not dictating prices to them, I'm just complaining about them. And that is my right. Then you probably realized that all the answers full of 😂😂😂😂😂😂 emojis weren't really helpful. Good decision. It is still a shop that you should avoid.

Unfortunately, the taste of the fish didn't impress us. Everything was a little unseasoned and didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right either. Shrimp with fries 27 euros is a bit excessive in our opinion. Have eaten better fish for less money.

I went there for my birthday. Oyster was perfect, wine also perfect, service good but calamaris were a little bit burned. Too fried. The calamari were fresh but lost in the almost burned and too crispy cover. Also too fat, there was a lot of oil in the bottom of the dish. Fish and chips in English style not suppose to be that fat and brown. Hope next time is better.

There aren't that many restaurants in Berlin that specialize in fish, so I was very happy about a friend's recommendation. The menu is very large and we stuck to basics and ordered fish & chips. It was very tasty - nice and crispy on the outside and fish very juicy and soft. The only thing that isn't so ideal is the loud street. (Ubahn, S-Bahn, cars, emergency services...). Their description says cash only, but they also take credit cards.

Wonderful fish restaurant all around. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere even on the terrace towards the always busy Schönhauser Allee and great food. My wife had the Kalmar & Shrimps (per her request without garlic) and I had the Wolfsbarsch (Sea Bass), which was simply put wonderfully delicious and quite large as well. That Sea Bass was priced at 25 Euros - worth every Cent. I think I may have a new favorite dish for eating out in the area. This wasn't our first visit and certainly not our last one either. Wonderful place. Give it a try, if you get the chance.

The food came to the table quickly and hot. Deliciously prepared and tasted very good. The bouillabaise is highly recommended. It's a shame that the fish platter is only available for two people.

We have eaten at the fish shop several times. No matter whether it was bouillabaisse, fish & chips or a few cheeky oysters, the food was always good and tasty! Yesterday, Saturday, we decided to just stop by for a drink and some oysters. In fact, it was too late in the evening so the oysters were already sold out. No problem. Even though we only stayed for one drink, the waiter was really nice and genuine with us. In general, it has to be said that the waiters there always act in a positive manner. Gastro and the customer service that comes with it is tough, I find it admirable to always meet authentic characters in the fish shop. Yes, the prices are slightly higher. But ultimately we all know that food costs have risen, fair wages have to be paid and probably a Berlin-esque spicy rent. We always like to come back.🦪 (The photo is from September 2023).

not recommended! We went to the fish shop on Saturday. Were first ignored and then (after 30 minutes) extremely passive aggressively received. Service was terrible, fries were way too expensive. bad price-performance ratio!!! yuppie shop. Restaurant opposite: super nice. With kind regards

A bit chilly from the atmosphere but the fish & chips were very good. Crispy breading and juicy fish. I don't quite understand why Catfish is called "classic", since classic is fish & chips from the UK with Cod and then fried Catfish was created in the USA. It was tasty nonetheless.

I had very good fish and chips, excellent service and for all of that a good price. They have two stores tight next to each other with a lot of space. Definitely a go-to if you want to enjoy some good fish dishes.

I've been to the food fish shop twice now, the quality for a good fish restaurant with sales was always at the highest level...now you've managed to top the quality and freshness again. The price-performance ratio is high, also thanks to increased costs. But if you are looking for a good restaurant with very good fish sales, this is the place for you. I myself am a restaurateur and can judge both, the service and cooking are both really outstanding. A visit is strongly recommended. Keep it up dear fish shop.

Steinbeisser fillet, tender as butter with roasted potatoes and a balanced side salad and toasted bread. Plus a Riesling. Vi nød rigtig dejlig fisch and chips, GB. Vi spurgte tjeneren hvilke fisk det var, det vidste han ikke🥹. Vi har aldrig fået fisch and chips i GB uden sauce tatare. Her fik vi ketchup sursød sovs, og noget “remoulade”. Det var glimrende mad, dejlig kold hvidvin etc. Vi havde en god aften.

Entertaining server and cosy seating with fresh food however the dishes I ordered left something to be desired. The scallops came with what tasted like a canned seaweed salad and the calamari on the salad was a bit chewy. Excellent Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire valley though

Wir haben Fish‘n‘Chips gegessen. Leider geschmacklich nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Der Fisch war okay, die Pommes unterdurchschnittlich. Sehr nette Bedienung und Service.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant, weil wir sehr hungrig waren, und als wir an dem Fischladen vorbeikamen, sahen wir Leute, die Fischplatten aßen, die besonders lecker aussahen. Dann bestellten wir die gleiche Fischplatte für zwei Personen, die sehr gut schmeckte, es waren sehr viele Fischsorten darin, und sowie Kartoffeln Chips , Saucen, Salate.

Wirklich schönes und ruhiges Ambiente. Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend aber nicht aufdringlich. Fischplatte ist sehr zu empfehlen

Ich habe leider kein Foto gemacht. Ich hatte das gegrillte Lachsfilet und es war sehr schön zubereitet und Serviert. Der Service war von Anfang bis zum Ende einwandfrei. Ein Sehr aufmerksamer Kellner, der immer wieder mal kam um sich zu vergewissern ob alles okay ist und es dem Gast an nichts fehlt! Kann ich nur empfehlen, ein sehr frischer Fisch 🐠

This is one of the best fish restaurants I’ve been too. The fish was extremely fresh and cooked in an excellent way, accompanied by a great salad and roast potatoes. Wine was great and the service was attentive. I would highly recommend eating here.

Wer guten Fisch in verschiedenen Zubereitungsvariationen wünscht, sollte sich durch das Angebot futtern. ( Über das Jahr verteilt!) Alles hausgemacht: Salate, Dips und mehr! Wir sind begeistert und genießen Fisch frisch! Ausprobieren!

The portions are huge, can't complain -Those industrial fries taste like garbage, we all had a slightly bad stomach after that. -Fish is okay just really greasy and unhealthy food though -No beer vom Fass a bit of a shame -Location's nice and servers too.

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung. Wir gehen immer auf gut Glück vorbei. Am Wochenende ist es meistens sehr voll und man sollte reservieren!

Great Restaurant! The fish here is very fresh, cooked perfectly, super juicy. And the prices are reasonable ! Polite staff, absolutely coming back here to try more things on the menu. The Dorade was amazing, really wanna try the fish & chips next time since the fries were also delicious.

Wir haben draußen gesessen, etwas gegessen und getrunken. Die Gerichte sind lecker und frisch zubereitet. Preise sind angemessen.

Das Fischbrötchen mit Matjes und das mit Lachs, in einer Honig-Dill-Sauce waren einfach nur seeeehr lecker. Das Brötchen frisch, der Fisch sowieso und alle waren sehr nett und freundlich, nur 4 Sterne beim Ambiente wegen der Ubahn über der Straße. Wir sind halt keine Berliner 😅
