Delicious food, large portions, and friendly service. Plenty of vegan options

My two slightly tipsy colleagues and I entered this wonderful restaurant late in the evening and were immediately warmly welcomed with three dishes. It's worth mentioning that the front room was actually already closed, but the esteemed waiter was kind enough to serve us anyway. You can imagine how delicious it was. Excellent. Even more importantly, after we were told card payments weren't possible, we scraped together our last pennies and paid in cash. Due to a lack of funds, the tip was rather sparse. But that didn't stop the friendly man who served us from having a very interesting conversation with us; with a friendliness that must have stemmed from Nepalese upbringing, because as a native Berliner, such a thing is foreign to me. To summarize briefly: This inn was the perfect place to perfectly round off Maximilian Tim Baier's farewell, with excellent food and the friendliest service.

A real letdown, literally, because the non-German-speaking waiter locked me and my colleagues in and made us do the dishes with the free-roaming rats. Honey bottles were scattered on the floor. The toilets were very rancid and run down. Children pushed me while I was urinating. When we brought in the WHO, the rats were put in the pot with Tschenka tikka massala. The ambience is still nice and very pleasant. Our meal cost €12 and was charged €120. Nevertheless, it was very nice and that's why 5 stars 🥰

I haven't been so disappointed at a restaurant in a long time. We were there as a small group and the restaurant was largely empty (only two other occupied tables). Still, we waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our food and it wasn't really worth it. It was quite tasty, but nothing special. The ambience was rather less nice, the toilets were unclean and my friend's lock was so stuck that she was afraid she wouldn't be able to get out! I also found the waiter's behavior extremely unpleasant. Instead of serving from each side of the table, every time he reached halfway through my face (I was at the outside seat) to give drinks/food/cards to the other people at the table. It's just super wrong, waving around in my personal space like that and it just doesn't have to be the case. I've really never experienced this in a restaurant before. Because I got really angry at some point, I kindly but directly pointed it out to him. He paid attention to it once and then continued exactly as before. An absolute no-go for me.

One of the best hidden gems for authentic Nepalese food. The dumplings are juicy, the meat tender, and the sauces deliver a depth of flavors I didn’t knew I missed. Go here if you want to experience flavorful food with good service in a humble setting.

Service was diabolical and slow. Wrong items sent to our table, wrong drink. The food was ok, we specifically asked for the dishes to be made spicy, this was ignored. The spinach panner was flavourless and dull, however I would recommend the okra vegetable curry. It wasn’t the cheapest dinner either. Much better places in the area

The staff is nice and at the same time a bit slow. The food was disappointing, the battura, for example, wasn't properly puffed up, was quite hard, tasted like old fat and had brownish blobs of fat on the plate. Stains on the tablecloth were poorly covered with placemats. Interior is very old. We won't go there again.

We went in the middle of the summer to eat. It was empty and the area very quiet so it was very nice. The food is very good, we were very impressed. The place seems family owned and it was very comfortable. The dishes are good and filling.

Desafortunadamente, el ambiente no coincidía con la fachada. Viajamos desde Polonia y estábamos buscando un restaurante un domingo. Nos dimos cuenta del restaurante y decidimos sentarnos afuera ya que estoy en silla de ruedas. Había un bebé caminando con un pañal lleno, que no atraía la atención de los padres, ¡incluso se sentó en una mesa en un momento dado! Camarera llegó con menues y uñas sucias! Pasemos a la comida, el momo era muy espeso, la parrilla mixta estaba bien, el pollo tikka era pasable, pero creo que las avispas disfrutaron de las comidas más que nosotros! Además, cuando la gente pide agua esperaría que no estuviera tibia o supiera a agua del grifo, con cuerpos extraños flotando en ella.

WARNING! No fish should be consumed here. Just a few hours later I suffered from stomach cramps. I spent the following night over the toilet bowl. Food poisoning is not something to be trifled with, never go here again!

Das Ambiente ist "sehr nepalesisch- indisch" und einfach. Für uns hat es gepasst. Wer es contemporary-abgestyled mag, ist hier nicht richtig. Trotz Samstag war kaum etwas los. Vermutlich, weil diese location etwas abseits der Touristenströme liegt. Am Essen kanns nicht liegen. Das ist nämlich wirklich geschmacklich kaum zu toppen. Preislich auch überraschend ok. Wir waren das erste Mal dort und kommen 100% wieder, da wir auch andere indische Restaurants der Gegend kennen ...

Ordered Chicken Sabji,Chicken tikka and momos. Momos were good. But never ever order chicken sabji and chicken tikka. Common, we dont expect the best food in the world. But for the money that we pay, we deserve atleast average food. Literally wasted around 29 €.

The restaurant offers a lot of variation of Indiana and Nepalese foods. They are tasty and also the price is reasonable. But the environment was not healthy enough. The table mat was dirty, and service was lacking in care. I hope they will improve their service.

Unfortunately the chicken meat used for the butter chicken and chicken saag was of very poor quality. Really watery, almost no texture. To be honest it was quite disgusting. Can’t recommend and definitely cannot understand why the restaurant has 4.7/5.

A great and calming place. If you've had enough of Berlin's glossy events, you can get great spiced curries here at more than fair prices. The employee was very pleasant. You can also buy one or two handmade cloths from Nepal. The shop already has a bit of a patina, which makes it even cozier and more human. Looking forward to next time.

I had chicken mo:mo and my friend chicken chowmin. Both were really tasty like in india. The waiter was also very friendly. We will come definitely very soon.

Panir Korma tastes very good and yet, as the coconut version of Shahin Paneer, it is something different. It seems easier. I have already ordered it for the 4th time. The quality is consistently good. Is there anything new about this? A salad. Can't remember getting one before. Unfortunately, I dropped out almost six months ago after 3 orders because I found the price too expensive.

Authentische indische Küche, schön scharf und nicht eineuropäisiert, Ich hatte #169, Spicy Mutton ==> sehr spicy, sehr lecker ==> sehr gut! Den 1/2 l Wein gibt‘s zum Freundschaftspreis von 9,50€. Was wollte man mehr? Nichts, außer wieder einmal hingehen!

I had the Soya Vindaloo, my partner had the Paneer Tikka Masala. The Vindaloo was good but not great. The Paneer Tikka Masala was one of the better Tikka Masala I've ever eaten. We shared, of course. The samosas that we got before the main meal were really good. Crispy with a delicious filling, the side sauces were great. The service was great, I got to practice some of my poor German.

We wanted to try a nice restaurant and discovered this restaurant. The food was actually good, the nan bread is very small though compared to the other restaurants. What disappointed us were actually the toilets. Both the men and the women's toilets were really dirty. Therefore 2 stars to the atmosphere. :/

Great restaurant to taste the authentic nepalese cuisines. I'd recommend you guys to try Spicy mutton and chowmein but be aware that these dishes are bit spicy. The ambience of this restaurant is okay but the staffs here are really very kind and friendly.

Wir sind zufällig an diesem nepalesisch-indischen Restaurant vorbeigekommen und haben und spontan entschieden, es auszuprobieren. Auf der Karte stehen diverse Curries in vegan, vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch sowie weitere indische Gerichte. Besonders angesprochen hat mich aber die große Auswahl an nepalesischen Spezialitäten, vor allem Momos. Diese sind mit verschiedenen Füllungen (Gemüse, Fleisch oder Käse), aber auch in diversen Zubereitungsarten erhältlich, z.B. gedünstet, gebraten oder mit diversen Soßen. Bestellt haben wir die vegetarischen Jhol Momos (in einer sauer scharfen Erdnuss-Tomatensoße), ein Auberginen Curry, ein Okra Curry und einen indischen Salat. Alle Gerichte haben gut geschmeckt, insbesondere die Momos sind hervorzuheben, diese haben sehr authentisch geschmeckt, wie in Nepal. Die Getränkeauswahl ist ebenfalls gut, es gibt viele nichtalkoholische und alkoholische Getränke wie Cocktails, Wein, Bier und mehr. Der Service war sehr freundlich und herzlich, die Atmosphäre gemütlich und bodenständig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Preise sind auch sehr fair. Ich kann das Bhetghat Restaurant sehr weiterempfehlen.

Good place to eat dumplings with Indian flavours and taste.

Das Essen war gut, es gibt eine vielfältige Auswahl indischer und nepalesischer Gerichte, sowohl Fleisch als auch vegetarisch und vegan. Der Service war okay, das Ambiente leider nicht so einladend.

Leckeres Essen, gut gewürzt. Schnell bedient worden und ebenso schnell das Essen bekommen.

Hier gibt es Gerichte nepalesisch-indisch, die, vom Geruch her, nicht ganz so curry-lastig sind, wie bei den indischen Restaurants sonst, wo die Soßen immer gleich schmecken, egal, welches Fleisch darunter liegt. Wir kamen in der Happy hour ab 17 - 22 Uhr auf einen Cocktail und zum Studieren der Speisekarte. Das macht Alles einen sehr guten Eindruck und hat Essen ab etwa 12 - 25/30 €. Ich hatte einen traumhaften "Homemade Special Cocktail" namens "Red Barry Passion", eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion, phantastisch, ich konnte gar nicht wieder aufhören. Das nächste Mal kommen wir wieder zum Essen.
