INTIMES in Berlin

Das Café Intimes gehört definitiv zu meinen Lieblingsorten. Ob zum Frühstück, zum Abendessen oder einfach spontan zu einem Kaffee, ich komme gern hier her. Schönes, großzügiges Ambiente mit so manchem Augenschmaus (bunte Fliesen auf dem Fußboden und an den Wänden). Der große Außenbereich bietet immer ein freies Plätzchen. Der Milchkaffee mit Hafertrunk ist der Beste weit und breit. Das Hähnchenschnitzel "Intimes" (mit Cornflakes panierte Hähnchenbrust auf Brokkoli-Sauhnesoße mit Pommes und Fladenbrot) ist ein Gedicht. Oder das leckere vegane Frühstück ist einfach fabulös, reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich, schnell und ist auch mal für einen Plausch zu haben. Also auf diesem Weg sage ich Danke, dass es euch gibt! Macht bitte weiter so! 👍

Eigentlich ein guter Laden. Aber immer sind viele und die besten Tische mit Reserviertschildern versehen. Nur während der 3h , wo wir dort sind , kommt keiner. Gastfreundlich ist das nicht.

Wir waren gestern Abend auf einen Absacker, sowie heute für ein spätes Mittagessen da und es war leider ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Abends hatten wir eine freundliche und kompetente Bedienung, heute wurden wir sehr rüde und ungehobelt empfangen. Wenn wir nur pampig belehrt worden wären, das die Dame ja leider mehr Arbeit hat, wenn wir die Vorspeise nicht als erstes ansagen, da sie diese eintippen muss und im Nachhinein nicht ändern kann ( sorry, aber woher sollen wir das denn wissen?), wäre es ja noch erträglich gewesen. Aber dann das falsche Essen zu servieren und mir beim Bezahlen ja noch einmal einen mitzugeben, das die falsch eingegebenen Speisen ja unsere Schuld gewesen wären, da wir sie ja mit der doppelten Arbeit durcheinander gebracht hätten, finde ich völlig daneben. Es wurde auch angeboten das man uns die Getränke erlässt, wenn wir die falsch servierten Gerichte essen, davon war dann beim Bezahlen leider nichts zu merken. Vollen Preis bezahlt, schlechten Service erlebt und Essen sowie Getränke waren leider auch nur unterer Durchschnitt. Leider ein mieser Abschluss eines ansonsten schönen Berlintrips. Empfehlung: Nur abends hier einkehren, da die Spätschicht wirklich einen hervorragenden Service sowie tolle Cocktails zaubern. Meine Begleitung kehrte regelmäßig dort ein, aber eben normalerweise erst nach 19 Uhr.

Das Café ist schon seit den 1990igern am Start und das nicht ohne Grund: Qualität setzt sich eben durch. Der Service war auffallend freundlich und schnell, das Essen ausgesprochen lecker und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis phänomenal. Das Draußen-in-der-Sonne-Sitzen hat so gut getan.

Sehr schönes Café mir Charm. Waren hier zum Frühstück und Abendessen.(An verschiedenen Tagen) Beide Male Top Service, leckeres Essen und gute Getränke. Preise sind oke für die Gegend und für was es ist. Empfehlenswert! Draußen sitzen vor allem Nachmittag, früher Abend sehr schön da man noch gut Sonne abbekommt.

A complete disaster. The place apparently has nothing to do with the great Intimes cinema next door except for the name. It has the atmosphere of a run-down tourist trap that desperately wants to be an Italian bar from the 90s. Incredibly loud music blares from tinny speakers, making it impossible to have a real conversation with a group of eight people at a table. The staff sees no reason to turn the volume down, because, as they say, "...Yes, it's a bar!" (Sic!).

We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, the service friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere lovely. Highly recommended!

Old cinema with indoor and outdoor restaurant - pure nostalgia - delicious food

A truly cozy café! The food is incredibly delicious, the coffee is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The bartender created a truly great atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly. I'll definitely be back!

A solid bar/restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. It's a great place to have a good conversation. A large menu and daily specials ensure there's something for everyone, even in a large group. The outdoor area is lovely. (Although the tables under the umbrellas could be positioned a bit better so that half the guests don't get wet in the rain.) This wasn't our first time there.

The sunset light in this place is awesome to enjoy with a cold beer. Didn't try the food but saw some dishes pass by and looked nice.

Great place! We had two perfect Alsterwasser (shandy) and flatbread with tomato and halloumi. Delicious. Perfect as a snack between meals. The menu had many other delicacies. Modern cuisine. The service was also top-notch!! Thank you so much!

We went for breakfast, and it was worth it. Very tasty, with a great selection of different breakfasts, from vegan to hearty. The staff and service were very friendly. You can sit inside or outside. If you don't want brunch but prefer to have your breakfast prepared and served at your table, this is the place for you.

First time in Berlin Germany, needed to try chicken schnitzel here and made the right choice so much so that I came back the next night and ordered the exact same thing, staff were so lovely and remembered us , 10000/10 recommend

We were just here for a coffee. Very friendly service

Not recommended – overcharged by €90. We were a group of around 20 people on June 1st, drinking at this bar. Everyone paid for their own drinks. At the end of the night, when the place was closing, we were told there was still an unpaid bill of €90. We immediately called each other and checked all receipts. Everyone had paid. Despite this, the staff insisted there was a remaining bill and pressured us by threatening to call the police. To avoid problems, we paid – but later realized we were overcharged. Items like coffee and drinks we never ordered were added to the bill. Very disappointing and dishonest. Would not recommend.

A truly lovely neighborhood café with a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious and lovingly prepared. I particularly like the diverse selection of dishes; you can find something to suit your taste at any time of day. The service is friendly and attentive. I'd love to come back!

We had tarte flambée and linguine intimates. Absolutely outstanding food, pasta cooked to perfection, an outstanding amount of chicken, and the taste is hard to beat. Highly recommended in any case. Thank you very much.

Great food, service and value for money. The hanchen schnitzel with creamy broccoli sauce is next level. The serving sizes are also huge and you have the option to sit inside or outside, outside is perfect on a sunny day. One of my favourite places to eat in Berlin.

Ideal neighborhood café for good drinks and food at any time of day. You have sun almost all day and the service is always quick and in a good mood. Rami is particularly good at it. 😀 good tarte flambée and great “outdoor pool fries”. Duckstein wheat from the barrel excellent. A bank for many years!

We were there as a large birthday group. Everything was wonderful. The service staff kept an eye on us and was super friendly. The food was delicious and there was something for everyone. There are two small points deducted for the permanently open door, which is only covered with a round curtain. Which is why it was a little fresh and why my request to make the table look a little more stylish was ignored and I didn't even get any feedback as to whether that was possible. Otherwise everything was really great and an absolutely successful evening. We always like to come back!

Cute café with delicious home cooking and really reasonably priced. Especially on the weekend when you're in a good mood to enjoy a delicious drink. Service is also very friendly, especially the waitress with long dark hair, who has served us several times, is really nice. You have won us as regular customers!

Even “just for a snack” you feel welcome here. Sitting on the terrace, you can watch the hustle and bustle on Boxhagener and Simon-Dach-Str. It's always fun to watch here.

The tarte flambée is very tasty, the cocktails are average. The staff is super attentive and friendly, really tip top and very personable.

Great store, very pleasant atmosphere!! I can particularly recommend the chicken schnitzel. I also have to mention the extremely friendly waitress Ilayda. We felt so comfortable and she put a smile on our faces. I would happily come back just for this service.

Rami ist ein super aufmerksamer, gutaussehender und charmanter Kellner, noch nie habe ich so einen engagierten Kellner erlebt. Alleine für ihn würde ich jeden Tag wieder kommen! Yesterday we were the first group at Café Intimes when Germany played and had a great evening. Food and drinks were great, drinks perhaps a bit expensive for my taste. The service staff was very accommodating, especially the waiter Rami. It has been a long time since we had a service person who was so warm, funny and attentive, a real host like in a book. We would love to come back and will recommend Café Intimes to friends.

Very nice and quick staff. Our meals were very good to OK. I only give it “okay” for my pork schnitzel with fried potatoes. In my opinion, the schnitzel is far too big, quite unseasoned with a bone-hard breading on very greasy fried potatoes. But still recommended.

Service was terrible. The waitress forgot one of the burgers we ordered and rudely asked the person why they hadn't ordered something. Also the sauces were mixed, meat was overcooked and burgers tasted flat. Fries were also plain like from McDonalds and served with either ketchup or mayo... We were not happy with service as random servants were coming over time to time with no customer service experience.

Delicious food and nice staff. Prices slightly increased. You can dine inside and outside. There is a disabled toilet.

The intimate atmosphere already existed when Simon Dach Str. was still a purely residential street.

Forgot one of our burgers, and took a lot of time to make it after bringing orders of other people. Black angus burgers were greatly overcooked - two of them were ordered rare, but we got them well done. Do not recommend, they do not know how to cook. They are wasting good meat.

For me clearly 5 stars place! Typical Berliner place for enjoying a classic breakfast in a good still price! If you had enough with the hipster places that all look the same in all cities…please try Cafe Intimes. Super friendly staff as well.

The burgers are a waste of money. The buns on our burgers were dry, the meat was super rare and the sauce was non-existent. The fries were akay. Maybe the other food is better. I won't try it.

We have been here on Christmas evening, was late and everything was closed. They have been really kind sn friendly, food was good with many different options also for children.
