As soon as you enter the pizzeria you feel like you are in a small Italian town. The aroma, the setting and the food give you a homely and caring environment in which you immediately feel at home. While you eat you can examine and enjoy the detailed interior design. There is very tasty food and good prices that make it worth visiting this pizzeria again and again!

Best shop for good Italian pasta! 8.90 for a huge portion including a drink. Afterwards you're really full :) sometimes, especially towards the evening, you have to wait a bit for a seat because it's always full, but it's worth it! I recommend the cheese pasta with penne pasta

La Focaccia Pizzeria – A real insider tip in Mannheim I have rarely experienced a pizzeria as charming and authentic as La Focaccia. As soon as you enter, you can feel the cozy and rustic atmosphere that this small pizzeria exudes. Even though it is self-service, you immediately feel comfortable and in good hands. Each dish, whether pizza, pasta or another Italian specialty, only costs 8.90 euros - and a non-alcoholic drink is included. The price-performance ratio is truly unbeatable, especially in this day and age. Despite the low prices, quality is not compromised here: the food is simply delicious! I've been there twice now and have been impressed each time. The staff also deserve special praise. Despite the rush, the employees always keep an overview and know exactly who ordered what. You can tell that people work here who really enjoy their job and care about their guests. La Focaccia is just a two-minute walk from Mannheim train station - ideal for anyone who wants to take a short break with good food. I can really recommend this place to everyone. There is authentic Italian cuisine here. There is a selection of pasta dishes, pizzas and salads. A main course/salad including a soft drink costs 8.90. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. There is the option to eat inside as well as outside. The food tastes great, but my recommendation here is more the pasta dishes. There is also delicious coffee at a reasonable price, as well as tiramisu and cannoli. This place is perfect, especially for people who want to eat quickly, cheaply and well. Especially if you come from the train station or have to go to the train station (2min walk) All in all a great experience, I was there several times and would be happy to come back at any time. Very tasty lunch. €8.90 for pizza or pasta + drink is not only fair but unfortunately now a rarity, which is why I like eating here! I like going here, even though it's often very crowded inside in winter and there's a lot of foot traffic. The best way to get there is on foot or by train as parking spaces are very limited at peak times, especially at the main station. Despite everything, 5 stars are more than deserved. Thanks!

Craziness. Simply and without much fuss, you can get wonderful pizzas and spaghetti as well as non-alcoholic drinks at a sensational price. Dining takes place at small tables. You're happy to accept the almost non-existent service, and you won't kill yourself by removing the plates and bottles yourself.

Me and my family have been eating here for many years, for me there is currently no better Italian than La Focaccia, my 2 little daughters also love the food :) , the pizza 🍕 and the pasta 🍜 are a dream. I can 100% recommend it to everyone. The boss and all the employees are very nice.

An original place - pizzeria as a standing café with high folding chairs. The lassagne was well stocked, unfortunately some of the layered noodles tasted "dull", as if they weren't cooked properly. Unfortunately, the crowning achievement was long black hair in the lassagne - that's not possible! It's a shame, because the friendly staff were otherwise very helpful.

Preis-Leistung wirklich Top, das Essen sehr sehr schmackhaft, die Pizza gefühlt wie bei uns in Dalmatien und die Pasta auch al-dente. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und mit der italienischen Musik und der Atmosphäre des Lokals hat man sich einfach generell wohl gefühlt. Wenn ich mal wieder in Mannheim bin komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder. P.S. Die Caneloni (hoffentlich richtig geschrieben) waren auch toll beider Varianten Pistazie und normal.

Der Salat war mäßig gut, langweilig und durch eine Fertigsosse auch nicht aufgewertet. Dazu gab es altes Baguette. Drei zusätzliche kleine Scheiben von altem Baguette wurden mit zusätzlichen 50 Cents berechnet. Dazu das Ambiente eines Bahnhofskiosks. Keine Empfehlung

Das Ambiente ist sehr gut gelungen, man fühlt sich wie in einem Restaurant in einer Seitenstraße in Italien. Hier hat Geld noch nicht die überhand gewonnen und solche Restaurants müssen gefördert werden! Danke für das schöne Erlebnis!

Sehr guter Italiener mit unglaublich fairen Preisen. Sehe ihn eigentlich als absoluten Geheimtip. Keine Ahnung was manche Leute erwarten und aufgrund dessen schlechte Bewertungen schreiben. Ich bin froh dass es ein so tradionellen Lokal ohne Kartenzahlung und Reservierung gibt. Pizza, Pasta und Salate haben mir jedesmal sehr gut geschmeckt.

Schöne Pizzeria mit karierten Tischdecken und netten Pizzabäcker. Die Pizza wird frisch gemacht und die Preise sind sehr fair. Für 2 Pizzen und 2 Getränke habe ich knapp unter 15€ bezahlt. Die Pizza hat einen sehr guten Teig und der Belag ist genau richtig: nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Inzwischen kann man auch schön draußen sitzen , da die Pizzeria 2 der Parkplätze bekommen hat.

Pluspunkte: Pizza war schnell fertig (10 min). Sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis (9 Euro für eine Pizza mit Freigetränk). Schwachpunkte: Die Pizza Cappriciosa schmeckte okay, aber nicht berauschend. Billige Salami und kein Oregano. Man wird nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass der Laden nur Selbstbedienung ist, d.h. der Besitzer lässt die Gäste auch mal 10-15 min an den Tischen warten, bis sie gehen oder zur Theke kommen. nur Barzahlung.

Absolut empfehlenswert!! Ich komme schon seit Jahren und das essen ist immer lecker. Dort ist immer was los, trotzdem dauert das Essen nie lange. Die Parkmöglichkeiten dort sind natürlich etwas schwierig, aber das ist am Hauptbahnhof ja nichts Neues.

Leckere Pizzaria. Bestellung an der Theke. Der Chef kocht persönlich. Besteck und Servietten nimmt man sich aus eine Schublade in der Anrichte neben der Theke. Die Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank daneben. Preis-Leistung ist ok, da ein Getränk beim Mittagstisch inkludiert ist. Abräumen macht man dann auch selbst.

Hier gibt es die leckersten Spaghetti Boscaiola und Aglio e olio, zumindest für meinen Geschmack und Pizza ist hier auch immer top. Hier ist Selbstbedienung und man kann durch die Küche,die im Raum ist sehen wie das Essen zubereitet wird.

Sobald man den Laden betritt hat man das Gefühl ein bisschen Italien in Deutschland zu haben. Das Essen ist immer top und es wird nie was auf dem Teller liegen gelassen. Preis Leistung ist das allerbeste.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Preis stimmt einfach perfekt und ist vollkommen angemessen und Gerechtfertigt und genau deshalb besuche ich diesen Laden sehr oft weil man da wenigstens gutes essen für schönes geld kriegt und der service ist ebenso gut zugleich.

The size of the pizza is huge too and it has a lot of toppings. The pasta is also very good but Spagetti tends to have much bigger portion than expected. This is one of my favorite places to go for a simple meal. Everything is self-service but it’s worth it.

Arrivo a Mannheim e incontro degli amici. Uno di loro conosce il locale e mi dice : "andiamo da un italiano"... ho pensato "oddio"...e invece ecco la sorpresa. Locale alla buona, conduzione familiare, ordini al bancone/cucina e poi ti chiamano quando é pronto per ritirare il tuo ordine. Beh, che dire....tra pizze e pasta nessuna lamentela, anzi davvero tutto buono e la sorpresa é stata il prezzo incredibile di ben 6,90 € per un piatto a scelta e una bibita. Ma questo tipo di offerta dovrebbero farlo anche molti altri gastronomi italiani, ottima idea e alla portata di tutti. Complimenti allo staff che lavora davanti al pubblico, nonostante fosse affollato quella sera non abbiamo nemmeno dovuto aspettare molto. Per noi italiani di Hannover un'esperienza da ripetere al piú presto.

Lecker, viel und günstig. Soweit die Kurzfassung. Pizza mit Getränk knapp 7 Euro. Selbstbedienung bei Besteck und Kühlschrank. Kleiner Gastraum, minimalistisch aber typisch italienisch eingerichtet. Die Pizza schmeckt grandios. Speisen auch zum mitnehmen. Bisher waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Die Wartezeit ist selbst bei vollem Lokal nicht übermäßig lang.

Das Essen sucht man sich am Tisch raus, geht zur Theke, bestellt dort und holt es ab, sobald es fertig zubreitet ist (dabei kann man zuschauen). Besteck holt man auch selbst vom Sideboard und zahlt später an der Thekenkasse. Schönes Ambiente, sauber und freundliches Personal. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert und nicht nur wegen des Preises!
