Best doner kebab in Mannheim's southeast

The doner kebab wasn't anything special. I had veal (the quality of the meat wasn't great), but the sauce was okay. The price/performance ratio was just about right. The guys were nice and the place was clean. Parking was rather difficult to find.

Since discovering this place, it's become my favorite kebab shop. They offer a choice of veal or chicken, the falafel is good, the sauce is delicious, and the other ingredients are fresh daily...everything I expect from a good kebab.

The doner kebab is sold as large, but it's actually a mini doner kebab without meat.

Quick service, excellent for Döner and Yufka. The only downside was the frozen fries, which got soggy in the plastic container. Otherwise, it was delicious and we were served with a big smile.

Best kebab far and wide and super friendly staff

We got a kebab there yesterday, and it was rather disappointing. It was carelessly put together, the bread wasn't toasted crisply, and the kebab fell apart because the pastry was cut too wide. The taste was really substandard, nothing special. A bit sour - was it the cabbage? So if you want a half-decent, run-of-the-mill kebab, this is the place for you. Maybe it was because it was late and close to closing time. I don't know, but these days, when there's at least one kebab shop in every village, you have to do something special in terms of quality or cuisine to avoid being one of the 1,000 others, right?

The guys are very nice and super fast, even at busy times, they process orders promptly. The food is delicious 😋 My colleagues and I really enjoy eating here!

I'm trying out various restaurants in the area, especially kebab shops with good meat. The kebab itself was quite average, the meat (in my case, veal) was good to very good, and the seasoning itself was a bit too strong. Unfortunately, they tried to rip me off. The price for a kebab like the one I ordered was €7.50. I gave them a €10 bill, €2, and 50 cents, for a total of €12.50, so I was supposed to get a €5 bill back. The cashier closed the register and thanked me. After asking several times, I was told the kebab cost €7.50. I replied that I had given him €12.50. As I used to work in sales myself, I recommend keeping the money you gave them and then giving back the change so the transaction is transparent. In my opinion, the employee's behavior was absolutely disgusting; it could even be considered that they were deliberately trying to rip him off for an additional €5. In such cases, if no agreement can be reached, I'll call the police. This fast food restaurant is the last place I'll ever see today, despite the good quality. It's a shame.

🚫ATTENTION! REVIEWS WILL BE DELETED HERE!🚫 The taste was okay, but it didn't blow me away. The yogurt sauce was more like a French dressing. A large doner kebab for €4.50 is about as big as a small doner kebab usually is. Unfortunately, we didn't get full.

Good doner kebab; you can choose between chicken and veal at no extra charge. The staff is friendly. The place is clean; I've been here several times and have always been satisfied. Keep it up!

Ohhh, I can't take it anymore. The kebab is so delicious, I can't take it anymore. It's so delicious, it's so juicy. I just have to eat the sauce and the salad. I just want to eat it and the bread is homemade, but the meat can be better. I just want to put my money into this kebab and just bite into this delicious piece. And eat it too.

Both chicken doner and meat doner are very oily, their taste is debatable and they do not appeal to everyone.

Unfortunately not the best store for me with histamine intolerance. I had already ordered the tomatoes, but I didn't expect that the herb used would be soured/pickled. Half of my kebab went to my friend. The meat, in our case veal, tasted okay.

I'll stick with it, it used to be better. The service was also friendlier, perhaps a subjective feeling, but that's how it is. I also have the feeling that if you belong to a different culture, you tend to “slide backwards”. Well, there's nothing else in town.

Hello. A great shop, very nice employees and large portions left a great impression. My Yufka tasted really good. It was very generously topped and pleasantly hot. The portion of fries for under 5 euros was amazing. A huge amount and ketchup on top of it. Really awesome. 👍🏼 Highly recommended

October 20, 2024. Ordered 3 x kebab plates to take away. At home we discovered that the fries underneath the kebab meat were old and hard to cook. Photo attached. That's not possible at all, you don't offer something like that to any guest or customer! After calling there, they couldn't understand me on the phone. I then gave up. Not a second time for me.

As some have already written: an absolutely positive surprise to find a kebab shop of such outstanding quality in a remote part of Mannheim! Meat, whether chicken or veal, is of the best quality and fried until crispy. The Iskender is reasonably priced but is more than convincing in terms of taste and generous portions. But the Yufka also comes in great Yufka bread, with fresh ingredients and a sensationally delicious and unique kebab sauce! Absolute recommendation!

Simple donner with a number of tables inside. Great meal. Good price-quality ratio. We received the pieces of pizza that we did not eat in a box upon request.

Unfortunately, the pizzas are not recommended in terms of taste or toppings (quantity). I had to look for the meat on the kebab pizza. Both the pizza and the kebab often resulted in stomach problems. And it wasn't because of the chili... In my opinion, it was an absolute emergency solution.

Doner pizza could have had more meat on it for just under €10. Otherwise, nothing extraordinary in terms of taste, just standard.

The food isn't good at all, then the toilet calls and you can't get out of there. The money was taken away there.

Rather very uncomfortably furnished. Tuna salad, for example, contains a little tuna. Pizza Hawaii with a little pineapple and ham. So there is room for improvement.

It's a very bad place. I don't understand why those who praise this place are praising it. Doner meat smells.... I couldn't eat it. They sell leftover meat from yesterday. The pizza is the same, it doesn't taste the same, it has no taste, they put very few ingredients. I guess if you overcharge here, you don't pay the bill because there is no other explanation. I couldn't find anything to praise about it, besides the filthy tables and floors, it's a disgusting place.....

Just a pleasant surprise. Didn't expect one of the best downer I had in a long time in this village. And where do you still get a Döner for 6€? Fresh and crispy bread and juicy chicken. Just how it should be!

Essen ist okay, die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und gehen auch auf "beschwerten" ein nur ist es dann ja leider schon zu spät, unterm Strich ein Standart Dönerladen, Pizza-Döner direkt mit doppel Fleisch bestellen dann wäre die sicher gut.

Selbst nach zwei Jahren hat sich an der Güte des Essens, auch an der Freundlichkeit des Personals nichts geändert.

Wir kommen von Außerhalb und sind durch unseren Besuch bei GÜMA in diesem Umbiss gelandet. Es hat sich aber gelohnt, weil der Döner wirklich sehr lecker war!👍

Naja, für den Döner 6,50 zahlt und er hatte einfach keinen Geschmack! Der Kassierer hatte ein richtig dreckiges und ehrlich gesagt ekeliges Oberteil an das voller Fettflecken war. Ich war zum ersten Mal dort und das war auch mein letztes Mal. Kein Geschmack, überteuert für kein wirklich gutes Fleisch und der Kassierer war hygienisch sehr fragwürdig. Das können andere besser.

Top Döner zu einem vergleichsweise immer noch sehr fairen Preis. Es gibt die Auswahl zwischen Hähnchen oder Kalbfleisch. Döner und Dürüm sehr empfehlenswert!

Leckeres Fleisch und frisches selbstgemachtes Brot. Genau das was einen guten Döner ausmacht

War hier bisher nur zwei mal, beim ersten mal war es super deshalb auch die 4 Sterne. Beim zweiten Mal war das Hähnchen leider mit viel zu viel Fett am Fleisch und da bin ich leider raus, ansonsten in Ordnung.

Pizza beznadziejna...ciasto ma dużo oleju, miała być z dodatkiem cebuli ale nie było. Smak pizzy nie przypomina pizzy. Obsługa okey.

Das Hähnchenfleisch war gut gewürzt und mager die Pommes waren knusprig und lecker wenn man sie schnell genug unter dem Fleisch heraus bekam, sie waren komplett vom Fleisch bedeckt. Die Joghurt Salatsoße schmeckt nicht besonders pfiffig war aber in Ordnung. Die Portion das dönertellers war groß und es war auch einiges an Salat dabei. Geschmacklich ist der Dönerteller absolut empfehlenswert. So lange Kunden kamen die Essen bestellten oder abholen wollten wurden leider die benutztenTische nicht abgeräumt und auch nicht sauber gemacht. Anscheinend wurde es als ausreichend erachtet wenn ein Tisch leer und sauber war, da kaum Leute vor Ort essen. Erst als gar keine Laufkundschaft mehr im Laden war hat man abgeräumt und drüber gewischt. Die Toilette ist klein aber sauber.

Wohne schon ewig in Friederle habe aber heute das erste mal Essen mit genommen und bin sehr zufrieden.....werde jetzt öfters bei Memo bestellen 🤗🍽
