Wir hatten ein fantastisches Erlebnis im Com Chay. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist hervorragend und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Engagement des Restaurants für Nachhaltigkeit, das sich nicht nur im Konzept, sondern auch im wunderschönen Interieur und der liebevollen Dekoration widerspiegelt. Das Essen war absolut köstlich, und wir konnten wirklich nichts bemängeln. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach großartigem veganem Essen sind, ist dieses Restaurant ein absolutes Muss. Selbst als Fleischesser können wir ehrlich sagen, dass das Essen unglaublich schmackhaft war und unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Insgesamt ist es ein wunderbares Restaurant mit fantastischem Essen, einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre und freundlichem Service. Wir können das Com Chay wärmstens empfehlen und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Das Restaurant ist süß dekoriert, der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt, das Essen war wirklich lecker und die Portionsgrößen waren perfekt. Preise vollkommen fair.

Tolle vegane Küche, schmeckt sogar jedem Fleischesser mit dem ich dort war. Die beste Erdnuss Sauce diesseits des Rheins. Viele Gerichte mit mehreren Optionen, zB Tofu oder Soja Geschnetzeltes oder Huhn/Rind/... Imitat.

Angesichts der guten Bewertungen hatte ich vom Essen etwas mehr erwartet. Wir hatten zwei Reisnudelgerichte, die beide sehr fettig und geschmacklos waren. Auch die Vorspeisen waren ziemlich langweilig. Der Service war allerdings sehr freundlich.

Wirklich gutes vietnamesisches Essen. Wir haben die Gerichte 32 und 23 bestellt.

Sehr leckeres, frisches Essen und sehr netter Service, wir kommen gerne wieder. Es gibt auch leckeren Bio-Weißwein 😉

Lecker, schnell und nett! Ich wollte wieder besuchen, seit ich das letzte mal vor 3 Jahren war und es hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Die Kellner waren sehr nett und das Essen ist wirklich ein guter Preis für die Qualität und die Portionen. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn Sie in Mannheim sind und sich nach warmem und bequemem Essen sehnen.

Soooo delicious... I was in Mannheim for two days for work, and when we stumbled upon this place, we immediately wanted to go back on the second day. I do enjoy meat sometimes, but I didn't give it a second thought because it tasted so good. The woman who greeted us was super friendly, and the food arrived quickly. It wasn't very busy, but for five people with four different dishes, it took less than 10 minutes. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back here. Extremely delicious, beautifully presented, nice people in a pleasant atmosphere... What more could you want? Without a doubt, 5 out of 5.

The taste is okay. However, half of the ingredients are missing. Next door, you can get the same dish, but in larger quantities, very tasty, and with ALL the ingredients listed on the menu. And for a fair price.

My absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Mannheim! I haven't eaten anything here that wasn't delicious. My favorites are number 18 and number 21. I highly recommend both. The best thing about Com Chay is that everything here is vegan. The vegan substitutes (imitation duck, imitation shrimp) are also highly recommended.

We were there on a Saturday evening. It was very quiet and the atmosphere was pleasant. The woman who served us was so kind and helpful. We felt really comfortable, and the food was amazing! We highly recommend it. We'll be happy to come back when we're in the area.

Despite wanting to grab something to eat just before closing time, we were warmly welcomed and given something to eat. The red curry with vegan duck was super delicious and full of flavor, and the wonton soup was just what we needed, especially on a cold evening. We'll definitely be back 👋🏻

My main course was ready in just five minutes. I ordered udon xao, and it was incredibly delicious. The very friendly and attentive staff happily packed my meal for me to take away. Perfect for when you're changing trains at the main train station!

We've been regulars at ComChay for several years and can highly recommend it! The quality and taste of the food is very good and high-quality. Compared to other vegan East Asian restaurants, ComChay stands out clearly. The service is also top-notch. The manager is always on the ball and very committed to ensuring all guests are satisfied. I'm not vegan, I'm a meat eater. I just came along out of curiosity and had red curry. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and we all left full.

Delicious vegan dishes, plenty of choice. The vegan duck could have used a bit more flavor. The food arrived at the same time and quickly. Overall, though, it was very tasty, and there was even a water bowl for our dog. We'll be back!

I actually always enjoyed being there. Unfortunately we have on April 11th. get food poisoning. I sent an email to hopefully prevent further incidents but never received a response. So here again.

I wouldn't recommend. The service was good and the food came very, very quickly but the food itself was really anything but good. The noodles were completely overcooked and small pieces. The imitation duck was very weak and I personally couldn't have eaten my friend's glass noodles. They feel like you're chewing on gummy bears. Unfortunately a total flop.

We went here for dinner because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had a starter platter: the summer rolls were not fresh, the fried wontons etc. were dry. Main dishes: Udon noodles were salted, far too much soy sauce, hardly any vegetables ... in short: We have never been served such a bad Asian meal. Conclusion: Never again!

We were here for the first time today and were satisfied. The restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy. We tried the rice noodles with soy and the mixed starter platter and found them both very tasty. The service was very nice and quick. Definitely recommended

We can recommend Com Chay without reservation. The food and the lime lemon were incredibly delicious. If you are staying in Mannheim, then it is definitely worth a visit.

We had a delicious meal there with 4 people. The service was very friendly, but could have been a little more attentive. The food was very tasty. The portions are completely adequate and fill you up. The price-performance ratio was good. We'd love to come back.

If I could order from one restaurant over and over again, this would be it. I've never eaten there but ordered it and OH GOD it's so good. My top recommendation is the Udon cary 23. This is a 10/10 and it comes in such a large portion and tastes so delicious that I am surprised every time. The price is completely worth it

Great vegan food in nice surroundings. The food is fresh and tasty whilst being great value for money. Really lovely welcoming waiter (Valaria) explained everything on the menu and spoke English fluently. The menus are also in English.

Mannheim on a cold November Tuesday shortly after 9 p.m. I'm in the mood for a hot soup, but even in the city center a surprising number of kitchens are already closed. But the lights are still on in the small Com Chay, and I immediately like the Vietnamese ambience when I look through the windows. The service is friendly and on the ball, my My Quang extra spicy (#24) is on the table quickly and tastes excellent, the other guests also seem satisfied. Thumbs up, if I end up hungry in the area again, I'll come straight to Com Chay.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had the udon soup noodles. The ambiance was nice and cosy. Would definitely recommend this place.

While passing through, I looked on Google for vegan options near the train station and found this restaurant. Noodle soup was good and filling, service was friendly. Unfortunately, one of the employees was loudly watching videos on his cell phone the whole time, which really bothered me.

In addition to many Vietnamese classics, the noodle salad is also available with raw vegetables noodles made from zucchini and celery. Delicious and healthy!

Coming from Berlin we might be spoiled for vegan Vietnamese options. Food was good, a bit too fatty, so be careful if you have a sensitive stomach. The soup had a great herbal flavour. Staff a bit ambivalent. From grumpy, to indifferent to friendly. But attentive. Locations is pretty noisy due to the open window front in the summer. A bit too expensive in my mind.

Very tasty food. I've ordered through delivery services a few times, but I haven't been there yet. I recommend the curry with vegetables, I take it again and again. Be careful with the soups, I ordered one once and I found it very spicy even though it wasn't marked as spicy.

Super delicious! We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner. The ambience is very nice, nicely decorated. We are both definitely impressed with the food. In order to be able to try everything, I had the appetizer platter, the sweet potato fries weren't necessary, but they were good and the rest were very tasty. The coconut soup was also delicious and served in a cute, rustic pot. Tasted like home to me. All in all, recommended and when I'm in Mannheim, I'll come back!

Very friendly staff. Personally, I'm not a fan of Asian cuisine and I only have a limited interest in vegan food. So two negative reservations come together here. But since I always find something on the menu that I like and my group of friends chose this restaurant, I went here with them (what else don't you do for your friends). And as expected, I was full here and had a nice evening with friends. The staff wasn't entirely innocent in this :-))

Wer richtig gut fleischfrei essen will muss hier her! Super Service, super Geschmack, super Auswahl! Die Erdnusssoße ist der Hammer (meine Begleitung fände sie jedoch zu flach - so unterschiedlich kanns sein), meine Udon waren für mich leider etwas "zu salzig", aber das frische Gemüse hat überzeugt. Gerne wieder!

I got the pho soup and it was good but could have been served with more herbs! The vegan starter plate was good and the presentation was beautiful! It wasn't expensive and the flavors were great. Very nice, fast and attentive service. I would come back and recommend this place.

The food is super tasty and the menu has dishes that I never drink anywhere else in omni restaurants. I had the wantan and the Vietnamese coconut milk soup, both were delicious.

For the life of me I can't understand why people here praise this restaurant so much. The soups were pre-cooked and frozen. It is then heated up in the microwave (hence the small bowls with lids) and a few vegetables and tofu are thrown in and briefly tossed in the wok. And for 13€... a real joke. And it definitely tasted old and frozen. Even the summer rolls are pre-made. That's why the rice paper is so dry, they make a batch in the morning and store it in the fridge. The summer rolls don't even have mint, coriander, rice noodles or garlic in them. It's bland and only has carrots, kohlrabi, cucumber and lettuce in it. That's it... no taste, just rabbit food. I understand that it's vegan, but vegan doesn't have to mean bland... Spices and plants with a kick are vegan, just a little tip. The gyoza... too expensive. It is from wholesale and is fried, also tastes like frozen and was quite greasy. It tastes like a cheap mandu that you forgot about in the frozen food for two years. I felt sorry for the waiter because he saw that our group had definitely found out about the kitchen. And that all our heads turned as we heard a microwave and watched the food being prepared. He was really nice and reduced the price by 60% without any of us saying anything. He apologized to us even though he couldn't do anything about it. It was the kitchen and management that failed extremely.

We ordered and picked up, there weren't enough vegetables in my udon noodles for my taste. In another dish, the sauce smelled so unpleasant that it made the whole dish inedible. Unfortunately I noticed it too late and it had already tipped over. The third dish was fine. Very expensive for the ratio. We won't be ordering here again.
