Very tasty food and relaxed atmosphere

Unfortunately, service was incredibly poor. The food took more than 90 minutes, although we asked several times and apparently no information was given as to when the food would be ready. Very unfortunate.

Really delicious and, if desired, allergies are also taken into account. It's a great restaurant, especially for people who like meat substitutes.

A completely vegan restaurant. The substitute products, if you want them, really taste like the plant-based original. The “duck,” for example, is incredibly well imitated. The vegan sushi was really fantastic!

The atmosphere at Vegana is nice, but it was a bit cold where we were. There was a strong cold draft which was very uncomfortable. But it's really nicely decorated. It took a while to place the order, but I wouldn't have deducted any points for that. The drinks came in a reasonable time. What I found surprising is that they couldn't tell us which dish had soy in it because my husband absolutely cannot tolerate soy. It's clear for most dishes, but not for "meat rolls" or "vegan mince", for example. We ordered a starter and main course and waited almost 1 1/2 hours. Then both came at the same time. I found it very unfortunate. Then of course you eat the main course first, otherwise it will get cold. The food itself was very tasty. My meal got 5 stars, my husband's got 4 stars because (probably due to time constraints) the Seitan wasn't prepared properly. Unfortunately you could hardly eat the seitan, the rest was great. By the way, my seitan was perfect. Overall, Vegana is definitely highly recommended. However, my favorite remains the Com Chay.

Very nicely decorated and very lovely staff! Had number 24, was great, especially the Saitan!! The bowl with rice and seitan was also great, as was the starter with glass noodle salad! Price performance top! I'd love to come back :)

The Vegana is always a pleasure❤️. We love ordering the M3 sushi platter for two people and it always fills us up very well. The sushi is special and simply exceptional. We always enjoy coming back.

Solid soup, it tasted very good, but I found the pineapple very unsuitable. And sometimes there were ingredients in it that weren't on the menu.

Nice restaurant, very tasty food. But….I saw a mouse (!) on the 1st floor. When the staff was approached, they were laughed at and told that this was known (!!!!). We won't be going back there any time soon, if at all. Too bad.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Mannheim! The dishes are so authentic that it's hard to believe they're completely vegan - the meat alternatives taste like real meat. Everything is fresh, full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere invites you to linger. For me the best vegan Asian restaurant in Mannheim!!

We went for dinner and we loved it. The place is nice and the service is good. The menu is extensive and everything we have eaten was really delicious, very tasty. Plus the price is very reasonable. You won't miss meat or fish, 100% recommended!

A wonderful vegetarian restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The seating area on the upper floor near the window is particularly nice, from where you can enjoy a great view. A perfect place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Highly recommended!

The food is excellent and keeps me coming back. The service is very friendly, but unfortunately I have had the experience several times that it was chaotic, orders were lost or taken incorrectly and that dishes were not cleared away: Example: the main course came and the dishes for the starter were not cleared away, then I had to had to be made by ourselves so that there was room at all. I find this a great shame because the vegan concept is great, but the overall experience suffers due to the chaotic process.

We love being there♡ Everything vegan and extremely delicious. The interior design is also nice, it's a place where you feel comfortable. The homemade lemonades and iced teas are very tasty, and I can recommend the absolutely brilliant spring rolls (no comparison to any Asian snack bar or frozen spring roll!!) and the fried sushi. Every now and then it can be a bit chaotic with longer waiting times, but that can happen too and the quality of the food makes up for it.

Love it there!! There is the best sushi and very tasty starters and desserts! The summer rolls with tofu are highly recommended. Even non-vegans taste it very well there.

I was pleasantly surprised. So the store was new, I thought it would be another trendy place taking advantage of social media trends to make money with overpriced vegan products. But I have to say, that's not the case at all! It's a very authentic Asian restaurant where you get very generous portions for the price. The ambience was right and it was very tasty. We were there yesterday at 7:45 p.m. Our two drinks and 1 of 2 appetizers arrived at 8:45pm until the waiter realized he forgot about us. During this time, three tables that came AFTER us had already received their food and two gentlemen were even finished and left. Totally disappointing. No matter how good the food is (we couldn't test it), we won't be coming back.

The food was both visually appealing and tasted convincing. The choice of dishes was varied, which didn't make the decision easy. The service was friendly and always available. Reservations are recommended, although it is probably possible to get a spot without a reservation. However, it was a bit inconvenient to make a reservation by phone as it only worked on the third attempt - once the number was unavailable and no one picked up on the second attempt. The restaurant itself is beautiful, cozy and appropriately decorated. The only point of criticism: The menus are a bit worn and could be updated to do justice to the otherwise good impression of the restaurant. Overall, a great vegan restaurant that I can definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, contrary to what is stated on the menu, the Cari Bowl does not contain any pumpkin at all! The waitress explained that it was a misprint and that there was pineapple in it instead, which I couldn't find either! Vegans who expect a lot of cooked vegetables here will be disappointed, there was enough tofu or seitan instead. The presentation of the food was good and the service was friendly, it's just a shame that I wasn't made aware of the "misprint" before I ordered.

The food is very tasty, especially the appetizer platter is recommended! I was unlucky with the main course on my first visit; I think there was a mixup. Because there was no pumpkin in my supposed curry with pumpkin, there was pineapple and the seitan had a very strange consistency and looked like mussels. Unfortunately the toilets are an imposition. On both visits there was no toilet paper and the toilet seat was missing. Overall in a very unhygienic and cold condition.

The best vegan place in Mannheim, no doubt. The food is good, yet not amazing. The portions are big, in line with the German standard. But the taste is sometimes a bit bland and there is a lot of sugar in the sauces. We took the appetizer plate for 2, and shared a big sushi plate. We really liked the variety of vegan sushi and it was tasty. We came back later to try other things on the menu, but these options had way less taste and were not special or anything. So my recommendation would be to try the vegan sushi there. Enjoy!

We ate there for the first time yesterday, I had a classic vegan Pho soup, it was great. The soup was hot and very tasty. My wife had a vegan dish that was supposed to contain pumpkin, but unfortunately there were very few vegetables in the sauce. Two pieces of broccoli and two pieces of pepper. The sesame rice was good. Unfortunately a bit cold. The service was fine. The toilets were clean. Unfortunately it is only partially suitable for gluten allergy sufferers.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food. I've been there several times and can certainly recommend it. Dishes are fresh, tasty, and big enough for hungry people. The food is well seasoned, freshly prepared and the specified allergy is taken into account. Salad with spring rolls is in my top 3! Highly worth recommending!

Super delicious! I'm a meat eater but I can't really tell that it's not meat. The seasoning and preparation are great! On I love eating the ribs here. The rice is also perfect 👌🏻 not too sticky and not too dry.

Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Leider kam unsere Vorspeise mit dem Hauptgericht zusammen und war kalt. Außer ein *gebe ich weiter* gab es nicht und das fanden wir nicht professionell. Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Wir probieren es nochmal aus 😉

Super tasty, very nicely prepared

The food was very tasty but unfortunately the service was not. We waited 35 minutes for our order to be taken. First a drink was missing & then the wrong one arrived. Unfortunately rather unfriendly staff. But the food tasted good, even if it was a bit expensive. The toilet door urgently needs oil. We sat right next to it and the squeaking was almost unbearable after a while.

Delicious Vietnamese fusion food! The braised mushrooms are wonderful! Eat: - beautifully presented - served hot - enough choice between rice and noodle dishes - yummy :) Operation/Service: - friendly, attentive, - We were there at around 4pm and, although that's not a typical meal time, it takes about 45 minutes for the food to be served - BUT: it's worth the wait!! It is really very tasty! Location: - in the middle of the squares in Mannheim city center - easily accessible by public transport - lots of seating options inside and outside Personal highlight: - Braised Seitan with various mushrooms and sesame rice The two of us had dinner here today and were very enthusiastic about the large selection of different dishes, which we really enjoyed! We have eaten here several times. The food is really delicious, high quality both in terms of appearance and taste and inexpensive. As the name suggests, the menu specializes in vegan dishes, although classic dishes are also prepared with meat alternatives that leave nothing to be desired. I'm adding a picture of our meal today to my review, for which we paid less than €50 including two drinks. An extra compliment for the fast, friendly service.

The food is very tasty. We'll try out the menu a little more soon, the crispy "duck" and the "fish" are great. The service was very attentive, courteous, super nice and not intrusive. 💜

Tasty Vietnamese vegan cuisine. Mild and spicy dishes are clearly marked on the menu and served quickly by the service. There are a few outdoor tables on the sidewalk at the Fressgase, the interior area is lavishly and tastefully designed on two floors - an atmosphere that makes you feel good.

A great restaurant to enjoy vegan food, I love the starter platter for 2 people and have already become a regular customer because all the dishes are fantastic. The vegan sushi selection is excellent and in a central location you can sit very comfortably and still somehow be in the middle of it all 😃

Five stars for taste, composition on the plate, presentation, quality and selection. A sad occasion brought me to Mannheim. A good friend had died. The evening before the funeral I found Vegana on the recommendation of the staff member at the Mannheim hostel. Never before had I discovered a 100% vegan restaurant with such a wide range of dishes!! I was still able to order at 10 p.m., which was also commendable. Service recommended udon bowl. Seitan "chicken substitute" with a crunchiness that will bring you down on your knees. Meatless happiness, visually and tastefully convincing!! Fantastic! Starter fried dumplings heavenly. Riesling from Bad Dürkheim at a perfect temperature. Prices are reasonable for size portions and quality, plenty of rice for example. I love heavy cutlery, ceramic dishes are great. On the second visit on Sunday Buddha Bowl was wonderful. Tofu great. Before that, the fried oyster mushrooms in the batter have cooled down a little. Service not coordinated, so perhaps communication lapse. Again, everything was incredibly tasty. This time lychee lemonade. Really fine and refreshing, not too sweet. Toilets on the 1st floor, not barrier-free. Points deducted can be corrected upon further visit if, as has often been noted, the menus are laminated or cleaned. The interior seemed a bit sterile, which is certainly different with more guests. My enthusiasm is huge. You have a huge share in my new love Mannheim!! Unpretentious, relaxed, diverse, kilometers upon kilometers of pedestrian paradise, great public transport, TOP culinary options!

Went there on Sunday and everything was delicious! I don't mind soup in the heat, simply delicious as well as desserts sesame balls, banana in coconut coating heavenly! and drinks also refreshing. Ambience also very cozy inside with air conditioning, but we were outside in the fresh air. We'll be back and soon. You can park in Q6Q7 on Sundays for 5 euros no matter how long you stand there.

We ate there for the first time on Monday lunchtime and were very impressed. The food is super tasty and the selection is very large. The service was friendly and quick. There was no music playing in the restaurant and it was generally very quiet. We really liked that because it made it easier to have a conversation and wasn't so overwhelmed with stimuli. There were also a lot of families there and our little one had a lot of fun too.

Cool location. You can also sit outside. The starters and the main course with vegan emte were really delicious. The staff were all very friendly too. I can only recommend it, everything is TOP.

Good, but pricey, food, a huge selection of different dishes. The acoustics in the restaurant are quite bad. We waited 1,5h for our main dishes, we only got them after asking the waiter without an explanation or apology.

Als wir uns hingesetzt haben, wurden uns kurz darauf die Karten gereicht. Die Bestellung wurde auch schnell aufgenommen. Leider hat die Kellnerin uns nicht komplett verstanden. Wir haben lange auf unser Essen gewartet, was völlig in Ordnung ist für Sushi. Als das Essen dann kam, habe ich kein Gericht erhalten. Erst beim ansprechen wurde mein Essen gemacht und es kam keine einzige Entschuldigung für ihren Fehler. Die Bedienungen kam kein einziges Mal mehr, nachdem sie mein Gericht gebracht hat. Wir sind dann reingegangen zum bezahlen. Das Sushi war sehr lecker. Mich hat das gebackene Sushi überzeugt. Davor hatte ich noch nie Sushi gegessen. Die Sommerrollen waren auch wirklich lecker. Meine Reisnudeln mit Frühlingsrollen haben auch geschmeckt. Nur leider hatte ich eine scharfe Soße bekommen, das nicht auf der Karte vermerkt war. Im ganzen schmeckt das Essen lecker, kann aber etwas scharf sein. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auch. Nur die Bedienung hat ein Essen vergessen und kam nur mit dem nötigsten zu ihren Gästen.

Even my father really liked it, and he otherwise strictly refuses to eat vegan food 😂 the service was also friendly, the atmosphere was stylish. The menus definitely need to be updated, but it seems to have been an issue here for a while.

My husband and I were amazed! We had a spontaneous meal here yesterday. For me, as a native vegetarian, it was the land of milk and honey. We will 100% come back and bring friends because the food was amazing! The fried 'duck' was so beautifully spicy and crispy that I still think about it today. Very friendly service. Not only that, but the food was prepared very quickly! I'm glad there's something so great in Mannheim ❤️

Our visit was a spontaneous decision. It was really good, very friendly service, the food was really very good and convinced me - I'm not a vegan myself - by the way. I'll come back the next time I visit Mannheim. A little tip: replace the tattered menus, then next time it will be 5 stars 😉
