La Dolce Vita in Schwerin

We were there for dinner on Saturday, although the restaurant was very busy, luckily we were able to enjoy good food and a nice atmosphere. Everything was perfect and we will definitely come back to visit La Dolce Vita. Ps. Many thanks again to the waitress for the nice conversation at the end of our relaxing evening.

Fine, medium-sized restaurant (in summer with a large outdoor terrace) in a rustic atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic pizzas and very tasty pasta dishes. Our children were very happy. Service nice and friendly and also suggests changes. For us number 1 among the Italians in the city center. We'll definitely be back. 😊

Unfortunately, the food didn't suit our taste at all. You can have lasagna But eating tastes like a finished product. Unfortunately my wife didn't like the carbonara at all. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio only deserves 1 star. The service was nice and good, but in our opinion the poor food outweighs the rating.

Simple Italian restaurant. Service friendly and attentive. The pizza I ordered tasted good and had good toppings.

First we ordered salmon noodles, but they were tasteless. After the boss asked if it tasted good, I simply said no for the first time in my life. Then my girlfriend and I got other noodles with a kick. We were really grateful for that. And they were delicious too. So thanks again for the uncomplicated way, that doesn't always happen.

Very tasty food. We shared a Pizza Frutti di Mare and an antipasti platter for two and it was plenty.

Bolognese tasteless, except for lots of basil, pizza crispy and bland. Salad was ok.

We wanted to have some ice cream this afternoon, but we were told that it was all gone. Apparently there was no more ice cream. IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST GUESTS BECAUSE THEY COME WITH DOGS, JUST OPEN YOUR MOUTH ‼️AND DON'T MAKE UP STUPID EXCUSES‼️ Dear dog owners, just go down the street to Cafe Prague, you'll be very welcome there. Note: we were there over 2 years ago, and back then we also assessed why it wasn't displayed like that 🤷

Like every month, we ate at Dolce Vita again this time.

The outside area looks very nice, but in colder months and in the evenings there are only a few tables available in the small restaurant. The lasagna only had cheese as the top layer. The amount of mozzarella was generous (very good 👍), as was the bechamel sauce. Unfortunately, that's where the flaw lies, it could have been seasoned more strongly, I had to add more seasoning. Pizza tasted very good, also a lot of cheese (great taste, but a bit greasy). Portions are enough for one person and were at the table quickly. The toilet is a small room outside the guest room, the kitchen is also outside and therefore the doors are constantly in use. Unfortunately we didn't find any desserts on the menu.

The food is definitely recommended. The ambience needs improvement. You should book a table in advance, many guests had to be turned away.

The food wasn't good at all. The seafood spaghetti was mostly soaghetti, little seafood. The pizza: lowest category for an Italian. The dough didn't rise at all. Salad with turkey: The meat was not cooked through. The toilets were dirty. The only thing that was good was the service, friendly and quick. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Answer: You are right, it was vegetables with turkey, not salad.

We didn’t like the food. Tasted and looked like bought from Lidl. Nothing to do with Italy. The worst Carbonara ever tried, also has nothing to do with real Carbonara. The Salad has low quality and wrong ingredients too. Reply to the owner’s reply: You say: The food was not good but your plates were empty when the waiter took them from your table! Reply: This is a lie. Two out of three plates were not empty when the waiter collected them You say: No complaints from you despite the repeated times you were asked if everything was okay! Reply: This is a lie. Your waiter did not approach us until we asked for the bill. Even when approached at the end he was not really interested to serve nicely, just did his job to take the payment. You say: Our carbonara was prepared with fresh ingredients, in the menu (I hope you read it correctly) there are written the steps of how our food is prepared and above all what is inside each meal! Reply: This is a lie. Your menu only states italian dishes names and german ingridients that are not used in Italy, yet you call dishes as in Italy. You say: If you understand carbonara just like you make clear from your comment then we would be really curious to know how the real Italian carbonara is prepared because from what we saw with our own eyes before at the restaurant you are the ones who have nothing to do with Italians and with Italy! It is easy to talk or rather to make statements without caring about the consequences… .... Reply: The Carbonara must contain Guanciale- you do not have it, Pecorino Romano - you do not have it, black pepper - you do not have it. Yet your “Carbonara” contains cream and onions that must not be there. Why should not italian teach an italian what is real italian food? You say: Also because from what I read you like to give negative reviews on almost all the places you visit! So at this point it comes naturally to me to think that the problem is not us restaurateurs who prepare the food in the wrong way but people like you who have never tasted good cuisine or rather do not understand it! Reply: If you would check carefully you would notice dosens of 5 star reviews for italian food restaurants I left, eapecially those in Italy. You say: Regarding the salad, what would be the right ingredients? I don't understand the point of reading a menu, ordering food, leaving the plates empty and then writing a bad review instead of pointing out the problem as soon as you started eating and giving us the chance to do something! It's better to lose customers like you than to keep them... ps: Thanks for the photos... They show that the problem is you and not our eating... Reply: just tell if the lettuce used in your salad ever used in Italian salads or only in Kebaps. That would answer your question. You say: Oh, I forgot: In Italian restaurants and in Italy in general we don't have Spaghetti with ketchup on the menu! And if this is your concept of Italian cuisine then there's something wrong with your thinking! Have a nice day! Reply: I never wrote about any Ketchup ever, you only prove how aggressive you are instead of taking critics and improve. If I do not understand italian food, please explain Pineapples in your Hawaii Pizzas :) Also I would like to point out that the waiter did not warn a child who was served Lasagne that the plate is extremely hot, so he had to burn his skin.

We had dinner there yesterday... The service staff is very attentive, our pizza tasted really delicious.. Definitely homemade...and fresh ingredients... There's nothing to complain about, we want to go there again, keep it up👍👍👍

The one star deduction is for the pasta with pesto, which was really dry. But the antipasti platter to share was really outstanding. !

Good and fast service and very tasty pizza + drinks. A big plus point for us: The dog was given a bowl of water straight away (without asking) and at the end there was even a treat for them! Would love to come back.

An armed robbery and very fair service. Charging 8.90 euros for each half-liter water bottle (total 17.80 euros for two half-liter water bottles) seems like a robbery to me. The food was passable and the waiter was very unfriendly (he treated us with condescension and, even though we asked him for bread on two occasions - even in German - he didn't listen to us and didn't bring it). In short, find somewhere else to eat or have breakfast or a snack. Not recommended at all!!!

The service was very good and the restaurant was simple but not shabby. The only bad thing was that the pizzas couldn't be enjoyed because the dough tasted like ready-made dough. I don't know what the other food tastes like, but unfortunately the pizza there is not recommended

Was there with my family! I had antipasti as a starter, my wife had spaghetti pesto scampi, my children had pizza and I had lamb chops with a delicious rocket salad and duchess potatoes, which was simply great, and we all really enjoyed it. In my opinion one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Simply excellent, keep it up, we'll be back 👌

From the service to the food to the location, perfect. The spaghetti bolognese was the best I've ever eaten. I think the noodles are homemade too 👌🏼 that's how it should be.

We came at 6:55 pm and they said they closed even they put the close time at 9:00 pm

Wurden am Eingang darauf hingewiesen, dass wir etwas länger (40 - 50 min) warten müssen. Nach ca. einer halben Stunde wurde das Essen serviert. Super! Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Waiter gruffly says that waiting time of 30 - 40 minutes can be expected... The restaurant (outside) is almost empty. Well, we had time. The two of us then wanted to sit at a table that had not been reserved, then the next rude announcement that we had to sit at the table for two. That was enough for us. An hour later I walked past the pizzeria again; was even emptier and the waiter was standing around looking bored. So if you like “announcements” from unfriendly waiters, you’ve come to the right place. I would be interested to know if that is what the owner wants.

Very good food, I ate a pizza there, very thin dough, thick fluffy edge, a little too much pepper for my taste, but that's a high level of complaint, all in one, an extremely good pizza that seduces the palate, the service is there very quickly and the food came after what felt like 10 min after ordering. The ambience is very inviting outside, there is space for every situation, whether it's a date or a small family celebration, you definitely have space here. Inside the restaurant it is very plant-based, which creates a relaxing and calming effect, all in one, for me, a 5 star restaurant.

We were looking for a relaxed Italian restaurant and were not disappointed! Nice staff, the pizzas were delicious & freshly prepared and the service was quick & attentive. We'd love to come back.

From the outside it gives the impression that you are going to the Italian restaurant in town. But the food had little to do with Italian food. The pizza dough was sweet and not crispy. The spaghetti Bolognese was hard to beat in terms of desolation. The biggest disappointment was the rolls that were served as a side dish with the salad. I couldn't find out which discount store the baked rolls were from. Unfortunately the price was too high for that.

We ordered a coffee a cappucino en a water(still) . When we wanted to pay we didnt have cash and wanted to pay with card. We only could pay 15 euro minimum. That was 6 euro more then the cost was. He told us he must do that from his boss. It's ridiculous and not customer friendly. We will never come back.

Today we met in the girls' group for dinner here. The food was very tasty and the service was super nice.

Full of a delicious meal, we're going to a concert in a good mood. The antipasti plate is easily enough for two, maybe even three.

That's exactly how it has to be!!! Despite the fact that it was full and there was a lot of stress... the 3 young boys made us smile. Gladly again!!!!

Unfortunately we cannot rate the food. There was no table available for two people. We were refused the many tables for four, all of which were empty and not reserved. Your strict adherence to this rule really impressed us. We are sure that this is a crucial contribution to your first-class hospitality.
