Friendly Italian restaurant with very tasty offerings.

Great atmosphere, food was good but a bit more expensive compared to the Italian competitors in town ;-), one star deducted for the service due to the usual service chaos in our restaurants in recent years, the waiters had language problems but they still tried their best. Would come again, nice..

On October 15, 2025, we had lunch at Brinkamas with 30 colleagues to round off our team day. It was very nice. Despite being late, we received a warm welcome. The tables were nicely set. They even printed a small menu for us with several dishes to choose from. A challenge for the waitress afterwards was the individual payment, which they handled brilliantly. Only one meal was mixed up. Hats off and a big thank you! We'd love to come back. :)

Here, you can enjoy truly delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. The prices are quite high, but so is the quality of the food. The service is extremely friendly and has been working here for several years—in my opinion, that's another strong point for this restaurant. All in all, we've been satisfied customers here for ages.

Super delicious food in a great atmosphere, either inside or in the beautifully leafy courtyard. We ate there almost every evening during our short vacation in Schwerin. The penne alla Toscana was—without exaggeration—the best pasta I've ever eaten.

Well, yeah...it was okay, but not a highlight. It was disappointing that the Gorgonzola sauce, which I was so looking forward to, didn't taste like Gorgonzola at all. This comment was acknowledged with a shrug and no further reaction. We wouldn't go there again.

Very delicious food! We had zander fillet with vegetables. The fish was cooked to perfection, and so were the vegetables! The antipasti with the amazing olive oil was also delicious! We came spontaneously and managed to get a table. However, it filled up very quickly, so a reservation is probably a good idea. Enjoy your meal!

This was more than a 10/10, this was truly an outstanding display of Italian cooking! Only those at least can keep up with them! The whole evening was perfection from start to finish! Wir waren am Samstag im Brinkama in Schwerin, und leider war unser Besuch eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, vor allem wegen der Chefin des Hauses. Sie war extrem unhöflich, vor allem gegenüber Kindern. Das Restaurant hat kein Kinderbesteck, und die Kinderkarte ist ekelhaft – sie ist dreckig und klebt an allen Ecken. Als unser Sohn (der sich keineswegs laut verhielt – er war definitiv nicht lauter als eine größere Gruppe am Nachbartisch) etwas unruhig war, kamen von der Chefin nur unfreundliche Sprüche darüber, wie sehr es „nervt“. Das war völlig unangebracht und unnötig! Abgesehen von der unverschämten Art der Chefin war der Service jedoch hervorragend. Unsere Azubine war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie fragte regelmäßig nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei, und sorgte dafür, dass wir immer genug zu trinken hatten – wirklich beeindruckend! Auch das Essen war sehr gut. Der Pizzateig war zwar nicht der klassische, sondern eher in Richtung dünner Focaccia, aber er war lecker und gut belegt. Leider hat die Chefin mit ihrer unhöflichen, radikalen Art den ganzen Abend ruiniert. Wenn sie das Restaurant so betreiben möchte, sollte sie es besser als „Adults Only“ kennzeichnen.

Children not welcome! The service itself deserves 5 stars plus; the waitress was very attentive, friendly, and quick. However, the manager was present, so I unfortunately have to deduct stars. The food was okay. The pizza was delicious, but quite small for the price. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is very nice, but here too: the manager makes all the difference. It's best not to go there with a small child. We had barely arrived at our reserved table when we were asked not to soil the decorative cushions. Children always make so much mess, we had no idea. It immediately made you feel at ease. But the children's menu was dirty and sticky. We felt constantly monitored and observed by her. Finally, she asked the child to please keep quiet, it was annoying. The highlight was the eye roll with the comment "Oh man, hey!" as we left. Our child behaved like a child of that age (2.5 years old) and didn't run around, and we didn't feel like there were any complaints from other guests. Only the boss seems to have something against children. I wonder why they offer a children's menu and crayons if she doesn't actually want children there.

Not child-friendly! We had dinner at Brinkama and unfortunately had a very negative experience, especially due to the behavior of the manager. She was extremely rude and definitely not child-friendly. There's no children's cutlery, and the children's menu is disgusting—it's dirty and sticky on all sides. When our son got a little louder (and didn't make any more noise than a group of adults at a table of five), the manager's reaction was outrageous. She complained in a very unfriendly manner that it was "annoying." The service, on the other hand, was really top-notch! The trainee who served us was super friendly and helpful. She constantly asked if everything was okay and refilled our drinks—really great service! The food was also very good. The pizza was different than expected, with a dough that was more reminiscent of thin focaccia, but still very tasty and well-topped. Unfortunately, the manager's bad behavior ruined the whole evening. I would suggest that the restaurant either become more child-friendly or simply mark it as “Adults Only.”

The food was very tasty, the service was very pleasant and friendly and it was clean and nicely decorated.

The staff tried very hard, although they were reserved in their direct contact. Unfortunately, the food was rather carelessly prepared and had a bland taste. The prices are a bit steep for what you get served. However, a steak that was ordered medium arrived medium, which is rare. In terms of food, nothing that you would necessarily have to go back for, unfortunately.

It was very nice here. The furnishings seem cozy but not old-fashioned or overloaded. The service was nice and the prices were OK too. We were there with a slightly larger group and unfortunately had to wait a little longer for the main course, but everything was hot when it was served and I really enjoyed my penne.

Sorry, but it wasn't good. Pizza dough like from a discount store. The prices are then already at the pain threshold. Can't recommend.

Great service and fine food! Gladly again!

We felt like having pizza today. Unfortunately we cannot recommend Brinkama's for fans of Pizza Napolitana or Romana. Unfortunately, the dough, which was biscuit and tasteless to our palate, reminded us very much of normal convenience food. Even the good surface couldn't console us. For us, the dough is the foundation of a good pizza. Too bad! 🫤 Maybe we'll try the pasta, fish or meat dishes on another occasion. We were satisfied with the service and ambience.

Staff stands out positively... great. The same cannot be said about food. OK, light and shadow. Soup was good. Pizza 0 points. Clearly frozen ready-made food dressed up with a strip of green pesto. That should probably suggest freshness to us. So I would avoid pizza.

Unfortunately we are disappointed with the food, but especially with the service 😞 The price-performance ratio is unreasonable. We won't go there a second time.

Friendly welcome. Spontaneously got a table for two on Saturday evening. Versatile menu, including an extensive children's menu. Drinks and food came quickly. Food was very tasty. My son (6) didn't like the carbonara pasta and was very kindly offered to switch to a pizza (at no extra cost), absolutely uncomplicated. Thank you very much for that! Service regularly asked if there were any further requests. It was just a little loud. Otherwise highly recommended!

Expensive, absolutely average food. Veal schnitzel to forget!

The staff was friendly and reserved. However, the food wasn't that great, both main courses were far too salty, the tomato Mozart salad was carelessly prepared and just plain cow's milk mozzarella. The tiramisu was okay.

Wir sind hier sehr zufrieden. es ist uns immer ein Fest, hier zu speisen. Unsere Kinder fühlen sich hier auch wohl und finden immer was leckeres zu Essen. Besonders die sainsonalen Angebote erfreuen uns immer wieder und sorgen so für eine tolle Abwechslung. Der Service und auch die Qualität der Speisen samt korrespondierenden Weinen empfinden wir immer wieder als wirklich herzlich und fein. Liebe Grüße M+M

Very creative cuisine - summer - pizza with pears - really awesome

We always enjoy going there to eat. The restaurant suits our taste in every way.

Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately that was it. The pizza looks, tastes and has the consistency of a frozen pizza pimped up with additional toppings. The noodles are not a revelation either. The price-performance ratio is not right. Disappointing for an Italian restaurant. The service staff includes both friendly waiters and some who don't say a word to the customers. The prices are exorbitant. A 0.5l lemonade costs €7! You don't even pay that in Hamburg or Munich. Unfortunately not recommended.

We were very satisfied with the ambience, the service and the food. We sat outside in a lovely outdoor area. The food was top class. We were there as soon as it opened, which can certainly be an advantage when the restaurant is full. Thanks to the entire team.

Unfortunately the service staff is unfriendly. The children's menu was only available upon request. The pizza used to be much better. The dough was flaky. Finally, a dish was billed incorrectly and there wasn't even an apology. Unfortunately no longer recommended 😔

The summer or beer garden is recommended. Small and fine, with lots of green. But the prices for the drinks are very expensive 👎🏻

Cosy and candlelit inside, leafy and cool outside. The menu is mouthwatering and the food is excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Penne Gratinate, the Saltimbocca alla Romana and the Filetto di maiale con pepe. Friendly, attentive but not intrusive staff. Recommended!

Tasty food, very friendly, fast service.

The service was fine. Nothing more, nothing less. The ambience outside was nice, it was quiet and cozy. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Price-performance ratio is not appropriate here. The farmer's bread for the starter was dry and nothing special, seemed old. The pizza was okay, but too small for the price and not what you would expect from an Italian. You won't get full without an appetizer. A small portion of dry pasta for a small child costs €10. Unfortunately, this is absolutely outrageous. Unfortunately that was the last visit to this restaurant.

Very nice and attentive service. The ambience was okay, but nothing more. The bread for the starter was very soft and nothing special. Olive oil was only available upon request. The starter was ok but the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. The pizza was also okay, too small for the price and not as expected. The pasta dish was delicious. Without an appetizer you probably won't feel full. You can eat there and get the dish you ordered, nothing more and nothing less. We will definitely test it again at a later date.

Visited Brinkamas again after a long time. Was really good. Very nice quiet atmosphere, pleasant clientele. The food was very good and great value for money, the service was attentive, unobtrusive and quick. We were pleasantly surprised and made a new reservation.

Tasty and friendly. Prices are absolutely moderate. There were six of us colleagues and everyone enjoyed it.

Very friendly staff, our dog was given a proper place and we were served very attentively. The choice of food was varied and interesting. Unfortunately the bruschetta was with tomato paste and not fresh tomato pieces. But the main course and dessert were excellent.

We went there for lunch for the first time for a birthday. The first “hurdle” is the parking lot. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant, but it fills up pretty quickly when there is good occupancy. Alternative = “Schweriner Höfe” car park just around the corner. Okay...done...arrived! The service was very friendly. We chose a spot in the very beautiful outdoor area (a small OASIS in the middle of residential buildings). Everything is very lovingly designed and invites you to linger. The food isn't star cuisine, but I didn't expect it either - some of the reviewers apparently did ;), but it was definitely tasty, cooked with love and appropriate for the price. The staff is very attentive, always asks questions and has a good overview. I can fully recommend the restaurant :)

The ambience and service is also nice. However, we were disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, my pizza wasn't much better than from a supermarket and the pasta was very sour.

The food was very good. There could be a wider range of drinks and it wouldn't be so great if the last liqueur just made it to 2 CL and not, like before, the last one was free..... You could think about it. Otherwise friendly staff.

We sat here with the family shortly before Christmas in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Basically there was something for everyone - from young to old. Unfortunately there are no special children's meals on the menu. As long as the kids are happy with pizza 🍕, this problem can always be solved. As far as the portions 🥘 and the prices 💴 are concerned, they are just about reasonable. There should be a little more meat here and there on the plate. All in all, we were full. But let’s still look around for other culinary temples 😆. Luckily there are enough of them in Schwerin.

Spontaneous visit for my 50th birthday. The table was changed at my request. We chose the large antipasti plate as a starter for €16.90. This was put together by the staff without any influence on it. It consisted of 3 slices of eggplant, leeks, carrots and chickpeas. Ultimately very disappointed for this price (sheep's cheese and zucchini were also available). Main courses: Duck with potatoes, red cabbage and fish dish with Mediterranean vegetables. The duck leg was very good, the red cabbage was very clove and dumplings would have gone better with it. The fish was good but was swimming in a vegetable broth with peppers, onions and carrots. Had nothing to do with the Mediterranean flair. No guest drink on the birthday and no farewell drink on the bill (as we know from Italians). The restaurant is ABSOLUTELY not recommended in this price range. Lili

Unfortunately, quality and taste are worlds apart between two visits. One time it was really very good and another time it was abysmally bad, the pizza was rock hard, other dishes were carelessly slapped onto the plate - just a disgrace! Service is also much friendlier...

Pizzateig und Grösse nicht besonders gut. Preis Leistung passt leider nicht zusammen. Olivenöl nur auf Nachfrage. Mann kann halt Essen gehen und bekommt seine Bestellung nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

Sehr schönes Ambiente Pizzen Deutsch wie ein kleiner Essteller gross hat nichts mit guter Pizza zu tun Rinderstreifen auf Nudeln leider komplett mit Sehnen durchzogen Tiramisu sehr lecker aber die Präsentation könnte überlegt werden 1 Frucht oder etwas Sosse etc Preis Leistung daher nur mittlerer Durchschnitt Örtlichkeiten dagegen sehr sauber Wir versuchen es später nochmal:-)))

Wir waren mit 9 Personen am Abend hier essen. Es war sehr angenehm, nicht zu voll. Man konnte sich sehr gut verstehen, es war drumherum nicht laut. Die Bedienung war jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war ganz wunderbar. Wir werden das Restaurant gerne weiterempfehlen.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter und tolle Atmosphäre. Das Essen war geschmacklich okay, in meinen Augen aber ziemlich überteuert. Ein, zwei vegane Gerichte und Nudeln oder Pizzateig aus Vollkorn- oder Dinkelnudeln wären zu der heutigen Zeit durchaus sinnvoll.

Leckeres Essen und passende Preise.

Ein Klasserestaurant in der City der Landeshauptstadt. Hier esse ich sehr gerne mit Freunden.

Das Restaurant war o.k., leider keine Veganen Gerichte vorhanden. Die Pizza ist relativ klein und mäßig belegt. Auch die Schweinefilet waren sehr übersichtlich, das Fleisch leider nicht wirklich zart und m.E. zu lange gegart. Die Pfeffersoße war wenig geschmackvoll und eher laff gewürzt. Als Desserts hatten wir pana Cotta mit Obst der Saison, Pfirsich..... für 6,90 Euro eine winzige Portion, Das Tiramisu war zwar auch klein aber lecker. Alles im Allem war das Essen o.k. für den kleinen Hunger..... aber für das was geboten wurde zu teuer.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen nach Reservierung vor Ort, davon 2 Kinder. Diese bekamen Stifte zum malen und es wurde sich sorgfältig um uns gekümmert. Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Die Auswahl ist nicht zu groß und genau richtig. Preise sind alle im Rahmen. Die Stühle sind mit holzlehne und relativ hart, jedoch gibt's auf den Bänken genügend Kissen, welche wir uns zwischen lehne und Rücken positionierten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Alles ist stimmig 🙂. Der Service, das Ambiente, die tolle italienische Speisekarte. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und auf kleine Sonderwünsche wurde ganz unkompliziert eingegangen. Großes Lob an den tollen Service und die gute Küche!!! Gern wieder 😉🇮🇹🍷🍕

Reservierung ohne Probleme. Parkplatz am Haus. Freundliche Bedienung. Preise etwas höher, aber noch okay. Essen sehr gut. Die Pizza könnte etwas größer sein, aber man wird satt.

ENDLICH wieder mal ein richtig guter Service! Neben der leckeren Küche und dem angenehmen Ambiente, haben wir hier eine angenehme freundliche und gute Stimmung gespürt. Wir waren 7 Personen und saßen quasi mittendrin. Trotzdem es wirklich voll war, gab es kein Problem mit Lautstärke. Der Service war toll, wir wurden unaufdringlich umsorgt und nie waren die Gläser leer. Das vermisse ich oft in der Gastronomie. Danke für den schönen Abend!

Todo perfecto! La comida fue deliciosa, todo lo que pedimos nos encantó! El servicio fue excelente, la terraza está lindísima...Fuimos a festejar el día del padre y fue una gran decisión.

Das erstemal wo ich da war war alles super allerdings das zweite mal war um c.a 21uhr obwohl das Restaurant eig. Bis 22uhr offen hat haben sie uns nicht reingelassen und wir mussten ohne essen weiter

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundliches, professionelles Personal, deren Empfehlungen auf den Punkt stimmig waren.

Essen ok aber zu teuer für die kleinen Portionen. Terrasse vorhanden aber bei Regen nicht benutzbar da keine feste Überdachung vorhanden ist. Bei Regen muss man drinnen sitzen wo es sehr dunkel ist.

Ich hatte eine Angebotspizza bestellt, der Belag war entsprechend der Beschreibung, aber als Pizzaboden gab Flammkuchen Teig aus dem Tiefkühler. Für mich ein absolutes NO-GO, war mein letzter Besuch.

Leider fand ich die Portionen sehr klein für das Geld, ich finde da muss was gemacht werden. Ansonsten war es ganz gut.

Terasse in einem wunderschönen kleinen Garten in dem wir leckere Pizza und Panna Cotta genossen haben. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Good experience, the Risotto was so good. Its is a must in this Place.

Der Abend begann mit einem vegetarischen Antipasti Teller. Sehr schmackhaft. Die Hauptspeise eine Pizza war lecker. Nachtisch Panna Cotta mit Erdbeeren ein Genuss. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und das Ambiente sehr angenehm. Gerne komme ich wieder.

The garden in the summer is very cute and quiet. Our food is incredibly delicious. The service is friendly. The environment is clean and tidy 💫

Ich hoffe, das Restaurant hat mit der freiwilligen 2G Regel die richtige Entscheidung für sich getroffen, denn ich besuche grundsätzlich keine Restaurants mehr, die sich von diesem Irrsinn mitreißen lassen, auch als Geimpfte nicht. Ich sitze lieber etwas auf Abstand, als das ich bei meinem Nachbarn fast mit an dem Tisch sitze, so wie es vor Corona teilweise praktiziert wurde.

The interior and the summer terrace are attractive. The menu choice is quite abundant and the ambition is towards Italian cooking. The dishes we had however did not quite have the touch you would expect, although they were made of good ingredients. The main courses and the pizzas are smaller than average. The young service staff were more busy than attentive.

The "Brinkama" is the best choice you can make in Schwerin. I always go there with my business partners. I'm absolutely satisfied!!
