A truly wonderful evening! The table was beautifully decorated to match the theme. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was simply outstanding: incredibly friendly, attentive, and totally relaxed. We immediately felt welcome. We'll definitely be back! 🇮🇹🍝🍷

I have eaten there three times now and each time I was served very friendly, attentive and politely by different staff members, which came across as genuine and not at all forced; for that, a big thank you and much praise.

I came for lunch because I had read the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. The pasta was completely overcooked. What a shame!

This had nothing to do with real Italian cuisine. The pasta was overcooked and stuck together – not enjoyable at all. The pizza dough was dry and more like a cracker – after that, hardly anyone paid attention to the toppings.

The food is delicious, whether it's pizza or pasta. And don't forget the delicious limoncello :-)

Four of us spontaneously came here. We wouldn't eat here again. The bruschetta bread tasted absolutely terrible, and the tomatoes were ice-cold. We complained and didn't have to pay. They told us it would taste better next time. The pizza was very good. But the pasta was a mess, completely overcooked. And the fruti mare was lacking everything.

We ate at the restaurant yesterday to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had reserved a table for 15 people. We had a table at the back of the restaurant, which provided a more private setting. The table was beautifully decorated. The menu offered something for everyone. The food was absolutely delicious! This place enter top 3 best pastas I had in my life! We were leaving Schwerin in a group of 8 and saw this place like "meh we need to eat, any place is good". Little I knew we would be stumbling upon a hidden jewel top notch cuisine. The waitress sat us on a wonderful table right next to the glass where we can see the chef cooking. After we order it was so fast, and so much food, we had a very pleasant experience. 10/10 would recommend.

We were on a tour at the city, i've traveled many countries, but that was the best pasta i've had so far. Everyone loved it, tasty and delivered very fast at our table. Parabéns!

We were there for my father's birthday and had reserved a table for 6 people. We've rarely experienced such an enchantingly decorated and set table. The food was excellent, but also heavily seasoned with garlic and herbs (unfortunately, it was a bit too much for me, but for the others, it was "worth a sin"). The ambiance was almost like being in Italy itself, and the service was excellent. Many thanks again to the super friendly and dedicated waitresses – when they came around the corner with pre-chilled glasses of wine, everyone was enchanted. High praise, we've rarely felt so comfortable. 🙏🏼❤️

Top-notch service! Great ambiance! Extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful service. We explored Schwerin on vacation in 5 days and, based on a recommendation, went to Go Saleto for dinner. Tagliatelle with salmon and leaf spinach (my favorite dish, it wasn't on the menu and was prepared for me) and spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes were so delicious, and the excellent service prompted us to return the very next day and pre-order steak on a hot stone. You absolutely must try this dining experience!!! It was fantastic. A huge thank you to Emily and Christian for the outstanding food, service, and everything else. Everything is just right with you! Keep it up! A visit to Schwerin and a stop at Go Saleto at Schlossstraße 15 with a view of the beautiful castle are well worth it.

We spontaneously dropped in on Friday evening and actually got a small table with bar stools against the wall without a reservation – very cute, but a bit cramped for dinner. The service was very pleasant, but since it was very busy, everything took a bit longer. The ambiance is generally very nice with the open kitchen. We drank delicious wine and ate pizza. We would come back if we lived in Schwerin... Update: We visited Schwerin again on August 22nd/23rd, 2025, for a concert and had another great evening with you. 5 stars for the food...

We stopped here today because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Both the bruschetta and the pizzas weren't particularly good. The dough didn't have much in common with an Italian pizza, and the toppings were pretty basic. It's a shame. The service and ambiance were okay, but we still won't be coming back.

Not only is the chef a typical Italian, but the food also tastes like it's Italian, and if you take some time to look around the restaurant, you'll notice that everything is decorated and thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant presents itself as upscale, which it once was years ago. Now it's mediocre (burnt pizza base) and too expensive.

Unfortunately, very disappointing – not family-friendly. We visited this restaurant two days in a row. On the first day, we reserved an indoor table for the next day and clearly stated that we were coming with a baby. When we arrived the next day, we were only confirmed that an additional person was allowed. Shortly afterward, however, the head waiter came and repeatedly stated that the stroller and the baby would disturb other guests. The baby's high chair was already very dirty the day before. Despite repeated attempts to clean it – both by us and the staff – it remained unsanitary. When I brought up the issue again, the head waiter didn't take me seriously and almost mocked me. In the end, we felt like we were being thrown out. Absolutely not recommended for families with small children

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner this evening and didn't regret it for a second! Fantastic food, very attentive and friendly staff, and excellent value for money. The only downside: dogs aren't allowed inside. But we were lucky and it was warm enough to sit outside. If we lived nearby, we would definitely come back. A big plus: the view of the castle!

The pizzas were delicious, and the service was also very good. However, the reservation system didn't work for us, and we didn't know if our reservation had gone through until we arrived. Based on other reviews, we were lucky to get a table.

Five of us spontaneously went there today after our visit to the castle and were thrilled. Both from the food and the service. We were served quickly and friendly, the food was prepared next to us and we could watch through the glass. The prices are surprisingly cheap and the apple spritzer was made with naturally cloudy apple juice (yay!!). We were very impressed with the pizza, pasta and salad. Clear recommendation! Tip: Pizza “Go Salento” special.

The food was okay, but the tagliatelle were too thick for me personally. The service needs a lot of improvement, we sat there for an hour and didn't have anything to drink. We would have liked to have something else, but apparently they didn't want to make any money from us.

Unacceptable and disgraceful! I have rarely experienced such unprofessional behavior. Two weeks ago I made a reservation for my birthday at Go Saleto - confirmed both in writing and verbally. But barely 30 minutes before the reservation I was suddenly called and shown the door without any explanation. No excuse, no alternative, just a cancellation at the last moment. For a restaurant that probably sees itself as reputable and customer-oriented, this is an indictment. Anyone who values ​​reliability, respect and professional service should give this restaurant a wide berth.

Wir waren 2 x dort. Hatten online reserviert und eine Bestätigung erhalten. Heute noch einmal beim Spaziergang nachgefragt, angeblich keine Reservierung. Daher noch einmal persönlich reserviert. 15 Minuten vor dem Termin wurde der Tisch ohne Angabe von Gründen telefonisch storniert. Wir sind hingegangen. Vorort keinerlei Einsicht, kein Entgegenkommen. Obwohl wir im Buch standen…. So etwas unprofessionelles haben wir noch nie erlebt.Saftladen.

Disappointing experience - reservation canceled at short notice Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Although I received written confirmation of my reservation via email, it was canceled just 30 minutes beforehand - without any plausible explanation. Finding another place at such short notice was almost impossible. Such unreliable service is really disappointing. Anyone who makes a reservation here should not rely on the booking actually being honored. What a shame!

Wir haben einen Tisch bestellt und haben uns gefreut auf einen schönen Abend! Leider hat man uns dann kurz vor dem Besuch ( erst nach Anfrage!!!!!)mitgeteilt, dass man vergessen hat, uns einzutragen. Dann ging die Suche los nach einem Ersatz für 8 Personen. Katastrophale Organisation und ich würde diesen Laden nicht noch einmal buchen. Es gibt genügend andere, sehr hochwertige und preislich angemessene Lokale in Schwerin.

Wir hatten zwar einen Tisch bestellt, kamen aber viel zu spät nach dem Theater dort an. Unser Tisch war zwar weg, aber man hat uns sofort eine Alternative angeboten u.wir bekamen, obwohl es auf Feierabend zuging, alles was wir bestellten u.sogar noch 1 Dessert! Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient u.kommen gern wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend am 1.Tag des Neuen Jahres!

The food was really tasty and the price was definitely appropriate. The service was very friendly, quick and attentive. We didn't make a reservation and even though it was already “entrance stop” we still got a table. Although I'm a big fan of stools, there are also plenty of tables and chairs. If I come to Schwerin again, I will definitely come here again

Nice little place. From the outdoor seating you can see directly to Schwerin Castle. Very friendly service. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great. I had frutti di mare. Some of the tagliatelle were still hard and sticky and the frutti weren't very numerous. It still tasted good.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. However, the pizza is not good at all. The pizza dough was neither fluffy nor crispy, but rather tough. The coating came off while cutting. The ham was also tough and impossible to chew. The pasta was delicious, the salad could have used more dressing.

Ordered a pizza, got the wrong pizza, a salami pizza. Pizza was taken away, the ingredients that were not delivered were thrown on the salami and everything was served slightly warm. I was promised a snaps and I didn't get it very bad either.

We were there today based on a recommendation - we had reserved a table and I also recommend... We were greeted at the entrance after just a few seconds and were allowed to choose one of three (reserved) tables despite having a reservation. We were quickly given the menus and an ashtray (the service was so attentive and saw that we had cigarettes with us). The order was taken after a short time and it was immediately apparent that we had finished studying the cards. We shared a starter, which after a short time was even served on two individual plates - I've never experienced anything like that before, I really liked it. The main courses also only came shortly after the starter dishes had been cleared away. We were given enough time for dessert to let everything sink in. When we ordered Sambuca we were specifically asked whether it was with or without coffee beans. For us, all ingredients and drinks were of very good quality, the service pays a lot of attention to the little things; For example, the ashtray was taken from the table without a word for the main course. We felt very comfortable on the terrace and had a short time to chat with the waiter. If you want to complain at a very high level, then I personally think it would be nicer to have a permanent waiter/waitress. So a total of three people served us - one for the drinks (who immediately offered me a new drink after she made a bit of a mess while serving) and two who brought food/cleared away and took orders. We will definitely stop at Go Saleto again on our next visit to Schwerin and take home-made pasta with us, for which you get the cooking time for free. Price/performance is more than reasonable here!

Very nice, well-kept atmosphere in a prime location. The outdoor spaces needed a little more shade. The service was very friendly. The selection is good. The pasta is homemade. Unfortunately, the pasta in my Aglio Olio dish was very sticky to each other and wasn't thoroughly mixed, so it was dry and the taste was initially lacking. There was generally a lack of more pepperoni and spiciness. The second dish was much better and juicy with vegetables. Overall recommended. September 2024 Better quality for the same price and super nice service and ambience with a nice, well-kept outdoor terrace, a great example for the whole of Schwerin where things don't really look pretty, especially in the center. Keep it up and stay multicultural and we'll keep coming back 👍

I never actually write reviews, but maybe with this I can prevent others from being served bad food like we unfortunately were. The pizza as a starter was okay, but all four pasta dishes we ordered were inedible. This coupled with extremely inattentive service, although the waitress was at least friendly, made this restaurant visit a flop!

The food was good, but the service was not good. Although there was no crowd in the restaurant, the service was very bad, the employees were indifferent. I can ignore it if there was a density, but even though there are customers at a few tables, there should be no such apathy.

After we visited Schwerin Castle we felt a little hungry. Since we haven't been to an Italian restaurant for a long time, we stopped at Go Saleto. As it turns out, a good decision. We were greeted very friendly by the staff and after choosing our seat we were given the map, presented in a rustic style on a wooden board. We were given enough time to make our choice. The drinks arrived very quickly and we were able to watch the chefs prepare the food. The food, pasta bolognese and carbonara came quickly and very hot. Both tasted excellent. Unfortunately really not recommended. Just to fill yourself up, if you want to enjoy yourself, you should go somewhere else. We had pasta that was absolutely soggy and the drinks had a very artificial taste and were therefore hardly edible. The view of the castle was nice, unfortunately the toilets were exactly the opposite. Service seemed disorganized due to many different employees.

Food wasn't that great. The pizza dough had no taste. Neither did the pasta and it was very “aldente”. Another point deduction for: The three of us were brought to the table. After us a group of 8 were served before us and we then had to wait until the group had drinks and food.

There were two of us there today. The restaurant was half full. The waiters still seemed overwhelmed with the orders. One drink came straight away, the other had to be reordered three times. The bruschette for starters were bland. One main course (the salad with yesterday's vegetables and bread like rusks) arrived quickly, the other was forgotten. Despite ordering again, the wrong main course came. Only after ordering again did the right one come. The noodles were partly uncooked (see photo (spoon)). In general, the noodles were unusually yellow, sticky and sticky. Our first and last visit!

After walking around Schwerin all day, we were quite hungry. My wife had already said she wanted to go out for pizza. I don't always like pizza, until we came to this nice restaurant. What incredibly delicious pizzas! The base alone is fantastic, with delicious toppings and the base has a beautiful thin, crispy crust. Truly the tastiest pizza I have eaten in a long time, and perhaps ever. Very friendly service who indicated that it could take a while because they were somewhat understaffed. But that wasn't too bad, it was nice that it was indicated in advance, even though we had the delicious pizzas in front of us within a very acceptable time. I can only recommend that you settle down here after a beautiful day in Schwerin and pamper your inner self. Compliments gentlemen and ladies from the service and kitchen.

It was a super hot day with 31 degrees, we went there and ordered drinks (juices), pizza magarita and seafood pasta.We were a family of 3 (mom, dad and toddler).We waited 15-20 minutes for the food, the wait wasn't that long and the food was tasty but unfortunately the service was terrible, we got our food before drink.We asked the waitress about the drinks and she said I'll check.We waited another 10 minutes and asked for another one Waitress after the drinks who barely heard us.we still didn't get our drinks, when the food was half eaten my husband went to the counter and asked about the drinks, this time it was the same waiter who took our order but he didn't remember what we ordered and he asked what we ordered. After about 10 minutes we finally got our drinks. The waiters are not very friendly to the customers. They don't know how to serve a table properly.

The quality has deteriorated significantly. Completely overwhelmed staff, 2 of the 6 meals ordered were delivered incorrectly. The pasta was completely overcooked and stuck together in clumps, Parmesan was cheap and tasteless, the pizzas were poor Gustavo Gusto and drinks that were ordered had to be reordered several times because they were forgotten. Unfortunately that was my last visit there.

Unfortunately, from the time the food arrived, no one even came to see us to ask if everything was okay or if anyone would like to have a drink. Very unfortunate. I would definitely have had a second drink. (Drinks are where you make the most sales?!) Let's be honest... who wants to spend the whole time circling their heads looking for a waiter?!
