Nice little place. From the outdoor seating you can see directly to Schwerin Castle. Very friendly service. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great. I had frutti di mare. Some of the tagliatelle were still hard and sticky and the frutti weren't very numerous. It still tasted good.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. However, the pizza is not good at all. The pizza dough was neither fluffy nor crispy, but rather tough. The coating came off while cutting. The ham was also tough and impossible to chew. The pasta was delicious, the salad could have used more dressing.

Ordered a pizza, got the wrong pizza, a salami pizza. Pizza was taken away, the ingredients that were not delivered were thrown on the salami and everything was served slightly warm. I was promised a snaps and I didn't get it very bad either.

We were there today based on a recommendation - we had reserved a table and I also recommend... We were greeted at the entrance after just a few seconds and were allowed to choose one of three (reserved) tables despite having a reservation. We were quickly given the menus and an ashtray (the service was so attentive and saw that we had cigarettes with us). The order was taken after a short time and it was immediately apparent that we had finished studying the cards. We shared a starter, which after a short time was even served on two individual plates - I've never experienced anything like that before, I really liked it. The main courses also only came shortly after the starter dishes had been cleared away. We were given enough time for dessert to let everything sink in. When we ordered Sambuca we were specifically asked whether it was with or without coffee beans. For us, all ingredients and drinks were of very good quality, the service pays a lot of attention to the little things; For example, the ashtray was taken from the table without a word for the main course. We felt very comfortable on the terrace and had a short time to chat with the waiter. If you want to complain at a very high level, then I personally think it would be nicer to have a permanent waiter/waitress. So a total of three people served us - one for the drinks (who immediately offered me a new drink after she made a bit of a mess while serving) and two who brought food/cleared away and took orders. We will definitely stop at Go Saleto again on our next visit to Schwerin and take home-made pasta with us, for which you get the cooking time for free. Price/performance is more than reasonable here!

Very nice, well-kept atmosphere in a prime location. The outdoor spaces needed a little more shade. The service was very friendly. The selection is good. The pasta is homemade. Unfortunately, the pasta in my Aglio Olio dish was very sticky to each other and wasn't thoroughly mixed, so it was dry and the taste was initially lacking. There was generally a lack of more pepperoni and spiciness. The second dish was much better and juicy with vegetables. Overall recommended. September 2024 Better quality for the same price and super nice service and ambience with a nice, well-kept outdoor terrace, a great example for the whole of Schwerin where things don't really look pretty, especially in the center. Keep it up and stay multicultural and we'll keep coming back 👍

I never actually write reviews, but maybe with this I can prevent others from being served bad food like we unfortunately were. The pizza as a starter was okay, but all four pasta dishes we ordered were inedible. This coupled with extremely inattentive service, although the waitress was at least friendly, made this restaurant visit a flop!

The food was good, but the service was not good. Although there was no crowd in the restaurant, the service was very bad, the employees were indifferent. I can ignore it if there was a density, but even though there are customers at a few tables, there should be no such apathy.

After we visited Schwerin Castle we felt a little hungry. Since we haven't been to an Italian restaurant for a long time, we stopped at Go Saleto. As it turns out, a good decision. We were greeted very friendly by the staff and after choosing our seat we were given the map, presented in a rustic style on a wooden board. We were given enough time to make our choice. The drinks arrived very quickly and we were able to watch the chefs prepare the food. The food, pasta bolognese and carbonara came quickly and very hot. Both tasted excellent. Great ambience, friendly staff and outstanding food speak for an unreserved recommendation. 5 stars 🌟 plus

Unfortunately really not recommended. Just to fill yourself up, if you want to enjoy yourself, you should go somewhere else. We had pasta that was absolutely soggy and the drinks had a very artificial taste and were therefore hardly edible. The view of the castle was nice, unfortunately the toilets were exactly the opposite. Service seemed disorganized due to many different employees.

Food wasn't that great. The pizza dough had no taste. Neither did the pasta and it was very “aldente”. Another point deduction for: The three of us were brought to the table. After us a group of 8 were served before us and we then had to wait until the group had drinks and food.

There were two of us there today. The restaurant was half full. The waiters still seemed overwhelmed with the orders. One drink came straight away, the other had to be reordered three times. The bruschette for starters were bland. One main course (the salad with yesterday's vegetables and bread like rusks) arrived quickly, the other was forgotten. Despite ordering again, the wrong main course came. Only after ordering again did the right one come. The noodles were partly uncooked (see photo (spoon)). In general, the noodles were unusually yellow, sticky and sticky. Our first and last visit!

It was a super hot day with 31 degrees, we went there and ordered drinks (juices), pizza magarita and seafood pasta.We were a family of 3 (mom, dad and toddler).We waited 15-20 minutes for the food, the wait wasn't that long and the food was tasty but unfortunately the service was terrible, we got our food before drink.We asked the waitress about the drinks and she said I'll check.We waited another 10 minutes and asked for another one Waitress after the drinks who barely heard us.we still didn't get our drinks, when the food was half eaten my husband went to the counter and asked about the drinks, this time it was the same waiter who took our order but he didn't remember what we ordered and he asked what we ordered. After about 10 minutes we finally got our drinks. The waiters are not very friendly to the customers. They don't know how to serve a table properly.

After walking around Schwerin all day, we were quite hungry. My wife had already said she wanted to go out for pizza. I don't always like pizza, until we came to this nice restaurant. What incredibly delicious pizzas! The base alone is fantastic, with delicious toppings and the base has a beautiful thin, crispy crust. Truly the tastiest pizza I have eaten in a long time, and perhaps ever. Very friendly service who indicated that it could take a while because they were somewhat understaffed. But that wasn't too bad, it was nice that it was indicated in advance, even though we had the delicious pizzas in front of us within a very acceptable time. I can only recommend that you settle down here after a beautiful day in Schwerin and pamper your inner self. Compliments gentlemen and ladies from the service and kitchen.

The quality has deteriorated significantly. Completely overwhelmed staff, 2 of the 6 meals ordered were delivered incorrectly. The pasta was completely overcooked and stuck together in clumps, Parmesan was cheap and tasteless, the pizzas were poor Gustavo Gusto and drinks that were ordered had to be reordered several times because they were forgotten. Unfortunately that was my last visit there.

Food okay, pizza nice and thin. Unfortunately no service. We waited a while for the cards and after something to drink and eat came we sat with empty plates and glasses until the end. Unfortunately, from the time the food arrived, no one even came to see us to ask if everything was okay or if anyone would like to have a drink. Very unfortunate. I would definitely have had a second drink. (Drinks are where you make the most sales?!) Let's be honest... who wants to spend the whole time circling their heads looking for a waiter?! Went here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The service was great and without any rush, it was a wonderful evening with very good food. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

We came here spontaneously today and didn't regret it. We sat outside in the best weather and a small rain shower didn't bother us under the awning. There was even a water bowl for our dog, who wasn't allowed into the restaurant, but we didn't want that either. With a view of the castle, we really enjoyed the pizza. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The pasta is excellent! Delicious pasta (you can choose the type yourself), creamy sauce and generously grated Parmesan. Perfectly seasoned. The portion was really big, so it really fills you up. If you sit outside you can see the castle. I can definitely recommend the restaurant for the pasta!

Spontaneously and for the first time ever, the two of us arrived here on Friday evening, got a comfortable table in the back and spent 2 1/2 hours eating, drinking and enjoying the time. Starters such as the antipasti plate, main courses such as pizza or pasta, drinks... simply great! The prices are ok, you can find cheap elsewhere, but you get really homemade food here. Definitely a great tip for people who want good Italian dishes.

We (two people) entered an empty restaurant with about eight people around 8:10 p.m. on a Thursday and were escorted out; the kitchen was already closed.

Very cozy restaurant, but the pizza was very dry and bland. The chicken was not seared, just cooked through. The noodles, however, were delicious. The desserts were okay too. All in all, a pretty average Italian. There are much better ones in Schwerin.

We were there twice and both times we were very disappointed with the food. The Pizza Greco was extremely spicy and, in my opinion, oversalted. The Pizza Fantastico was also oversalted and the dough was flaky in both cases. The drinks are overpriced, and given the quality we found, this also applies to the food. The service was noticeably impatient and untrained. The side bread was a fiasco. Crumbly, unheated, dry and almost tasteless. We paid more here than in Hamburg, Lübeck or Cologne. The quality, however, was far below that. We regret this because the service was not unfriendly despite the underlying hectic pace.

A really great team of chefs from Syria, service in Brazilian and funny in Mecklenburg! Plus the homemade breads, pizzas and pasta! Unbeatable view of the castle in summer. Central parking situation in front of the theater. We're always happy to come by on a regular basis!

The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Definitely stands out. Antipasti here is extremely seasoned and pickled, desserts are homemade, even the pasta is produced in-house. Everything fresh, service friendly, fast, fond of children, attentive. Ambience super cozy. Price performance is top here. This was our fourth time here and we will definitely be back soon.

Spontan-ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Ich mag das Go Saleto sehr. Hier wird das Essen frisch und für die Gäste sichtbar zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist offen und einladend. Meine Ma und ich hatten dieses Mal beide eine Pizza. Meine Ma liebt Thunfischpizza - leider hat sie übersehen, dass dort auch Sardellen mit drauf sind. Ohne zu Meckern wurde ihr eine Alternative angeboten, mit der sie super happy war. Ich kann sagen, dass mir das Essen dort hervorragend schmeckt. Ob das Rindfleisch auf dem heißen Stein oder die Pizza. PS: Wer es scharf mag - die Pizza Diavolo ist es definitiv 🥵😅👍🏼 Die Bedienung super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Go Saleto ist definitiv einen Besuch wert 😁.

Es war eigentlich sehr schön. Sehr gutes Essen, nette Bedienung. Schade nur,dass es eine offene Küche ist und dadurch ist es etwas blau im Restaurant. Die Sachen riechen nach Essen.

Ein wirklich schönes Gebäude. Wir sind auch ohne Führung sehr gut zurecht gekommen und konnten oben in den Landtag von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern hineinsehen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Essen war sehr lecker, auch wenn es an veganen Optionen fehlt. Leider wurde der Parmesan an dem sonst veganen Gericht nicht vermerkt. Nach Nachfrage wurde dieser aber komplett entfernt. Sitzgelegenheiten sind nicht die bequemsten gewesen. Rundum hatte sich der Besuch aber mehr als gelohnt.

Hervorragendes Essen, besonders die Pasta ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Alles sehr frisch und schnell zubereitet, sehr lecker und die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Super schöner laden, waren spontan da essen. Das essen ist wirklich top und man hat auch nicht allzu lange drauf warten müssen, obwohl wir zu einer Stoßzeit da waren. Anfangs war eine weibliche Bedienung etwas unfreundlich, obwohl ich nur etwas gefragt hatte, danach war es aber auch wieder anders. Offene Küche finde ich auch sehr spannend, saßen direkt davor und es war schön anzusehen. Preise vollkommen in Ordnung, da kann man wirklich nicht meckern. Allgemein ein tolles Erlebnis!

Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Es zeichnet sich vor allem durch die individuelle Auswahl der Nudeln (Tagliatelle, Penne, Spaghetti, etc., jeweils auch mit Vollkorn), unabhängig von der Soße, aus. Wir hatten Tagliatelle Carbonara und Bolognese sowie eine Pizza mit Rucola, Parmaschinken und Grana Padano.

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs gleich 2x in einer Woche da. Ohne Reservierung geht wie überall in Schwerin selbst unter der Woche gar nichts. Das Essen, sowohl Pizza als auch selbstgemachte Pasta waren super, der hausgemachte Limoncello ebenso. Preise liegen im Schweriner Normalbereich. Wir kommen gerne wieder beim nächsten Mal!

Freundlicher Service, ein sehr gutes Stück Fleisch auf dem heißen Stein und eine tolle Lage. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.
