Had lunch here We ordered the panzerotti which were served quickly. The food and service was good. The price is a bit high in my opinion

Auf der Terrasse sitzt man unter den Sonnenschirmen auch bei einem kurzen Wolkenbruch trocken und sicher. Nun aber zum Essen: Das Bresaola Carpaccio als Vorspeise für 2 war fantastisch zart und fein angerichtet; dazu leckeres, frisches Weißbrot. Als Hauptgänge dann die Gnocchi 4Formaggi bzw. die Spaghetti Carbonara; beide Gerichte heiß und köstlich zubereitet. Passend dazu ein Rosato aus Sizilien, das Glas (0,2l) für 4,90 Euro. Preis, Qualität und Service stimmig, mit 2 Ausnahmen: Die Flasche Acqua Panna (0,75l) war mit 8,00 Euro überteuert, ebenso der kleine Espresso mit 2,80 Euro. Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Dejlig parasol-dækket terrasse. Lækker italiensk mad. Hurtig/sød betjening. Spiste frokost her begge dage, vi var i Schwerin. Fik ikke isdessert, men det er de flotteste isdesserter de laver.

We ate ice cream in a waffle on our city tour. The ball has a hefty price of €2. The selection of flavors was good and the ice cream was creamy and delicious. The balls were a good size.

1-2 years ago it was a good restaurant by Schwerin standards. Today was a disaster. Portions were far too small, the prices were like in a top restaurant in Munich! and the pizza looked and tasted like a frozen pizza.. very, very unfortunate!

Unfortunately no culinary surprise, bland and boring.

It's a nice place with good food and friendly staff. Authentic Italian flavours. They also have amazing ice cream - real gelato!!

We spontaneously got a table here for ice cream and coffee and were overall satisfied. The service is very friendly and quick. The ice cream sundaes are quite expensive - but! (As we unfortunately noticed too late) On the dessert menu you will find classic Italian specialties, including ice cream, which are really cheap. The lime cakes with meringue are a dream (around €6) and even if it should go without saying - the espresso is also very good. In short: this will be my address for a piece of Italy in Schwerin in the future.

Completely without spice, pep and Bella Italia. Too bad! Definitely not recommended. The service served us in an acceptable time and quality. Ambience theme: tables rocked down. Parasols should be cleaned before and during the season. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Heerlijke gerechten met verse ingrediënten en vriendelijke bediening. Meerdere keren gegeten tijdens onze vakantie, elke dag anders, maar altijd goed.

We were 4 people. Ordered 2 pizzas, pollo alla peperonata and fettine di maiale con salsa funghi. Pizza crust was so low quality - assumed that it was bought frozen before cooking with ads. Pollo(chicken) was just boiled chicken breast, which was cooked separately and covered with tomato based sause. And it was not stewed together, the meat was with no taste. Fettine(pork) was just a few slices of stewed dried pork covered, which weren't also stewed together with a sauce. So that was literally uncombined butterbrot/sandwich with sauce for 20€. Cappuccino was from capsules. Portions are tiny for that helly high prices. All tastes like earth. And for that we paid 110€ The only good thing was the wine, but wait a minute - they didn't cook it.

This is the best Carbonara I've eaten at a Restaurant outside of Italy. Pure love on a bowl. I was quiet and mesmerized every bite. Exactly what I was looking for. I will be back.

Very tasty food. The ice cream was the highlight - very tasty, such delicious ice cream is rarely found in Italy.

When we said we only wanted to eat ice cream, we were given a table for two and were able to enjoy the delicious sundae in peace and with friendly service.

The food was grossly overpriced and the service was the unfriendly I've ever experienced. No hello, no goodbye. Any conversation will be kept to a minimum. That paired with a picture-perfect hack face. The pizza doesn't taste any better than a frozen one. The dough is also punched out evenly. So it could easily arrive at them pre-made by the wholesaler. Overall, the store feels extremely uninspired and the prices are at least twice as high as they should be.

That was a really nice evening with our furry friend :). The food was great. The service was great and very attentive. There was a nice water bowl for our sweet Thabo. He was happy with the Tesuper.

We had ice cream and iced coffee, oh well. My ice cream tasted good, but there was a lot of cream and it was too small for the price. The iced coffee wasn't anything special, my wife said.

Nice Italian ice cream parlor with very tasty ice cream. Large selection of fine variants, all of which taste good. The balls are a great size and there is a lot to lick. The waffles are also nice and crispy. Standing in line is worth it.

This is where you are placed. We had pizza which was very good. The service was friendly and attentive. We found the smokers, who filled us with smoke on the terrace while we ate, annoying. A no go for a restaurant.

As a guest you had the feeling of being a nuisance. The service could be friendlier. The food and drinks were very tasty.

We went to Durante for dinner based on a recommendation. The pizza was okay at best and the pizza dough reminded me a bit of that of a frozen pizza. I expected more for higher prices. In addition, the service was a bit boring and the portions were small.

Pasta (sauce, cheese) and carpaccio tasted like it came from the supermarket, not tasty. Atmosphere is pleasant, service is good, ice cream is also delicious.

The food tastes better than it looks! The service is very nice and speaks Italian. The waiting time is very short and everything is very fresh!! The place itself has an Italian soul. A quiet place where you can relax and talk.

Normal food (the ragù sauce was loose). The guy who brought us the drinks was friendly and helpful. The other two employees stared at us the entire time. We stayed less than 50 minutes but we felt uncomfortable in this situation and gave up the dessert and coffee. We prefer to eat without anxiety (used to Berlin) so we don't recommend.

Das Essen die Bedienung war vom feinsten. Den Tisch habe ich 2 Stunden vorher telefonisch bestellt. Super netter Mitarbeiter . Das Restaurant werden wir auf alle Fälle beim nächsten Besuch wieder auswählen.

Certainly it is a question of taste. Unfortunately, the card only applies to me to a small extent. The food looks good, but the portions are quite small for the price. Otherwise it is cozy, the staff are friendly and the Italian charm and mixed language complete the cultural experience.

I wanted to enjoy my well-earned after-work beer outside on the terrace around 9 p.m. (the restaurant is open until 10 p.m.). I'm thinking to myself when suddenly an employee behind me starts moving the chairs and tables together and locking them with a clatter and a clatter. And that lasted for almost twenty minutes. There was another couple sitting on the terrace and there were still plenty of guests inside. So once and never again...

The negative: The carbonara was the worst thing I've ever eaten, even including snack food. The dish was so peppery that none of us could finish it. I actually tried it, but it really didn't work and ended up causing hours of stomach pain. In short: the dish was simply no longer food and inedible would be an understatement. The positive: Very pleasant service staff and facility.

The food (we had spaghetti alla Carbonara and Pizza prosciutto e funghi) was edible. The staff was polite and friendly. The desert... we looked at icecream for 12€ a portion and thought "maybe we're not *that* big fans of icecream"...

We stopped in for lunch. The food was very good with reasonable prices. The penne arrabbiata was excellent. Enjoyed our visit.

Excellent evening in this Italian restaurant located in the center of Schwerin. Very warm welcome, efficient and dynamic service, authentic and tasty cuisine including the delicious fettine alla pizzaiola. Very nice choice of wines. There is also a grocery area with takeaway meals.

Oh well. Food is okay, but nothing special in terms of taste. The ambience is rather random, hardly a feel-good atmosphere. Waiters rarely paid us any attention. We would have liked to have dessert and something to drink after dinner, but we didn't get a card despite our request. I then got a card myself, but the waiter ignored us for what felt like an eternity. We ended up feeling better after all. As an Italy lover, I find the Durante quite disappointing. There are numerous better restaurants in Schwerin.

Looks like an ice cream parlor from the outside. It is also a fine Italian restaurant with a small but fine menu. Our food was great as was the great service. We'll definitely be back!

Best Italian in town! If you want to eat good Italian food, this is the right place for you. The carbonara in particular can be highly recommended. Even in Italy I haven't eaten these better yet. Everything is just right here, from the friendly and authentic service, to the ambience and of course the original Italian food - this is exactly why we come to Durante regularly. Keep it up!

Had the spagetti alla carbonara and a dark Erdinger here today. The carbonara was really very good. Above all, it wasn't Germanized with cream or any such nonsense, but kept beautifully simple and traditional, in other words: delicious, creamy and full-bodied! If I lived in Schwerin, I would try more of the menu here! Recommendation!!!

The food was good, but somehow the service wasn't having the best day

Really nice, small Italian restaurant. The food was of good quality and the place was cozy.

Leider inzwischen total unpersönlich geworden, das Essen ist nach wie vor sehr gut nur man fühlt sich als Gast nicht wirklich willkommen z.b. keine Nachfrage nach weiteren Getränken, Dessert oder ähnlichen. Dann bestellt man als Gast auf eigenen Antrieb ein weiteres Getränk bekommt leider nichts. Danach Rechnung bezahlt. Ohne Kommunikation. Kennen Durante von früher her schon und hatten uns auf einen tollen Abend gefreut, leider hat die Gastfreundschaft stark nachgelassen. Keinerlei Persönlichkeit mehr.

Food was excellent, at least I had the spaghetti carbonara. I almost always order them from Italian restaurants and I liked them best here. Plus an excellent Chianti.

We were looking for a table for 8 people. The nice young waiter was initially concerned because he found the space too narrow. We had 4 young people with us, who then all went to the bench together. Everything was perfect! On this cold winter day we ordered warm drinks and the young people snacked on something from the display. Everyone was satisfied and happy. In addition, everyone was warm again afterwards and our tour continued through the city, which we really enjoyed. Thank you!

Mit viel Herzlichkeit, fühlen wir uns immer Willkommen 🤗 ! Regelmäßig bestellen wir fast ausschließlich um die Mittagszeit unser italenisches Lieblingsessen ( Spaghetti agilio Olio e Peperoncino ) und einen Rosé Sicilia. Alles ist auf den Punkt und der Parmesan großzügig im Extraschälchen ! Danke dafür! Der Espresso ist wahrscheinlich einer der besten der Stadt und das Eis , wie es sich für einen Italiener gehört. Auf unser Weiterempfehlungsliste ganz oben.

Wir waren hier zur Mittagszeit und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch. Der Service war sehr freundlich, das Essen super lecker und die Preise echt in Ordnung. Alles in allem definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Die Pizza die ich gegessen habe war super. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend. Das Personal ist freundlich. Was willst Du denn noch mehr?

Der Aperol-Spritz für 8,90€ bestand zur Hälfte aus Eiswürfeln, die Pizza war ein wenig angekokelt, ansonsten sehr nett und lecker - und das Tiramisu war der Kracher, der mit allem versöhnte...

Salat mit Garnelen. Schätze die Zutaten kamen vom Discounter. Mit Jogurtdressing ersoffen, Garnelen glasig, roh, etwas warm gemacht… und das für 24 Euro… die Pasta meiner Frau waren fad und labberig…

Ich habe dort schon besser gegessen...

The food was okay, nothibg special nor portions was bad. But kids menu was too hot and other foods not warm enough. Staff was friendly but they dont check on you. We had to wait for ordering, same for dessert. But food was there within 10 min. Overall good restaurant if you cannot find any other options.

So einen tollen Spitzenitaliener habe ich noch nie erlebt. Alles frisch und sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Der Cappuchino mit unbeschreiblich leckerem Aroma. Ich werde euch in Leipzig sehr vermissen!!!

Zentrales italienisches Restaurant am Markt in Schwerin. Schnelles und freundliches Personal. Zahlung in bar und per Karte möglich Gute Auswahl an italienischen Speisen. Speisen werden frisch und heiß serviert. Man kann sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sitzen. Gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

Freundlicher Service. Toller Wein und leckere Nudeln. Ein schöner Abend.
