We were there with a larger group (birthday party with a buffet). The food was good, the service attentive, friendly, and quick. A good mix of rustic and open atmosphere. Parking was a bit limited, but there was enough along the street.

We ate there with a large group. The service was excellent; despite the size of the group, drink orders were taken and served very quickly. Someone was constantly circulating to ensure a steady supply of drinks. I can't say much about the menu, as it was a buffet. However, the buffet was very tasty and plentiful, featuring the typical dishes you'd expect from a good pub.

We were there on Saturday evening with a fairly large group. The food was average, but even though we had pre-ordered late in the morning, it took about an hour and a half for everyone to get their food. Paying then took another hour because only one employee was allowed to check out. Flexibility is different. I won't be back.

The restaurant is quite large, and the service was friendly and quick. The food didn't take too long to prepare either. All in all, a great experience. Large selection of draft beers and wine. Live sports are also broadcast here.

Unfortunately, only 3 stars. Despite a reservation and confirmation via email, no table was reserved for us. After a brief consultation, we were assigned a table. During dinner, a salad we ordered was not brought. We then complained and canceled the salad. There was no dessert. After we received the menu again, no one paid any attention to us for about 15 minutes. We then paid the bill and left. The 3 stars were for the restaurant's decor and the very friendly, if seemingly overwhelmed, staff. We will go again in a few weeks and perhaps things will have improved by then.

The food is okay, but if a schnitzel is served after three minutes, it's obviously just reheated. The lunch portions are simply too small, so we won't be coming back for lunch. The service staff are always different and don't seem like they're trained. The beer garden is nice. With decent service and better value, it would be a good place. I think €18 for a lunchtime schnitzel and a drink is simply too much for the size.

Fish soup and schnitzel were delicious, potato salad was undercooked, hunter's sauce tasted like Metro powder, and the side salad was tiny. Nothing fancy, and the portions were consistently very manageable. Not recommended – boring, overpriced, ready-meal fare. Things used to be quite different at the Naturfreundehaus Rappenwörth, Mr. Kühner...

Parking is right in front of the door... First, the pancake soup, which was good and hot, so 4 stars for that. Then I had a "Rumsteak" (onion roast beef). It was served with spaetzle or something similar. 5 stars for that. Very minimalistic presentation. The taste was top-notch. It couldn't be better... but you eat with your eyes. For dessert, I had Kaiserschmarrn, which was very dry, with vanilla ice cream, so 2.5 stars for that. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is showing its age, but still clean. Still, 4 stars overall for that. The excellent "onion roast beef" made the visit an experience.

We, strangers from the Netherlands, stumbled upon this restaurant. It's truly fantastic! Lovely garden, great atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic food! Dogs are also more than welcome. She was kindly given a bowl of water, a snack, and a pat on the head. It's a shame it's so far from home, otherwise we would have come back much more often!

Five of us went to Kühner's Wirtshaus today. Friendly service, good food, and delicious homemade lemonade. Everything was perfect for us. We'd love to come back again. Update: Everything was excellent on our second visit, too: good service, good food, everyone was happy today as well. We'll be back!

I recently wrote a review; it was negative. Unfortunately, the review was not published. Not all reviews are published, so there is no need to write any more reviews. Thank you. Among other things, I wrote in my first unpublished review: there were rotten, brown, wilted lettuce on my salad; my friend's food also had this rotten lettuce on hers. The salad was also a disgrace; it had lettuce ribs without any leaves in it. I think that's outrageous. This place should be checked more often, and ideally closed down. The best thing was the minor service worker; she was sweet, friendly, and accommodating.

Für die Konfirmation hatten wir im voraus reserviert. Auf unseren Wunsch (Steckdosennähe am Tisch) ist man ohne Weiteres eingegangen. Das Essen hatten wir nicht vorbestellt und wurde doch zusammen serviert (16 Personen). Das Angebot zum Kaffee, selbst Kuchen mitzubringen und im Kühlraum zu lagern, nahmen wir gerne an. Selbst das dazubenötigte Kuchen-Geschirr/Besteck wurde ohne Aufforderung bereitgestellt. Unsere Deko (wie auch den Kuchen) hatten wir tags zuvor vorbeigebracht und es wurde gemäß unseren Beispielfotos tadellos vom Personal platziert. Das Essen war lecker, der Service freundlich. Gut finden wir auch die ebenerdigen WC-Räume (sauber). Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder eine Feier im K. Wirtshaus machen. 9

Yes, absolutely. We were two people and two dogs. We received a very friendly welcome. Each of the two dogs received a water bowl right from the start. The service and friendliness towards us were also fantastic. Drinks and food arrived very quickly. Everything tasted delicious. The daily menu was sufficiently varied. We can highly recommend it without reservation.

The Wirtshaus Burger with extra meat, extra cheese, extra bacon and fried egg was an absolute delight, fresh, juicy and perfectly prepared, with fries and a small salad! The location in Rüppur creates a wonderful atmosphere, the service was friendly and attentive, and the toilets were clean.

In der zugigen Bahnhofsatmosphäre ist es der Wirtschaft nicht gelungen, ein Wienerschnitzel herzustellen. Das Kalb Fleisch war 3 mm dick geschnitten. Die Panade klebt oben und unten dran und das ganze war Cross gebacken und so trocken, dass man es kaum essen konnte. Haben wir dem Wirt auch so mitgeteilt.

Very cozy restaurant in Karlsruhe Rüppur, the reservation was possible at short notice without any problems, good beer 🍻, the food was delicious (Alsatian schnitzel with French fries), salt and pepper from the mill are available. Big bonus: the Hefeweizen-Radler aka “sour Russ” arrived promptly and correctly and not with sweet fizz as usual 😂, thank you very much and gladly again 👍

Ordered the first course and didn't even finish it and the main course came at the same time! Unfortunately, spaetzle is only lukewarm (finished product not seasoned.) Service inattentive and the restaurant was not well attended! When we were briefly asked if everything was okay and requested a repeat order of herb butter, the service staff did not comply. To top it off, we were asked whether we could collect money even though the plates hadn't even been cleared away. Finally, shortly before the store closed, it was pointed out that it was the end of the day (drinks were still full.) Hardly a second time.

Great food with great service! No matter what time of year it is a good place to go for classic German cuisine in Rüppurr. In summer you can sit in the beautiful beer garden (but it's best to make a reservation) and in colder weather in the beautiful interior. Unfortunately I once had a pork knuckle that didn't have a nice crust on it as usual. When we asked the waitress, this was because they unfortunately only received cured pork knuckle. Without asking, I was then offered that I could have a few pieces of crust from the roast and so the problem was quickly solved, that's how service has to be!

This restaurant has been around since 2021. At the beginning the price-performance ratio was good. Not anymore, they have become too expensive. At the beginning there was a side salad included, then they wanted 2 euros extra, now 5, 90. The food prices have also risen extremely, as have the wine prices. With a general inflation rate of no more than 3%, far too expensive. Too bad. You can also see this in the guest response. In contrast to before, when it was overcrowded, today on Sunday evening only 4 tables were occupied in this huge restaurant. Vote with your feet. The owner should consider whether these massive price increases were so wise. We won't go there again for the time being.

Reservations are easy, but not absolutely necessary on this Monday evening. The guest room is modernly furnished, the plastic frames of the photos on the wall are starting to sag a bit. the atmosphere is lively, as befits a tavern. The menu offers main courses between 15 and 35 euros, and the service is fast and attentive. I'll start with "Obazda (pickle, red onion, farmer's bread)", which is simply sensational. The “fried veal liver (braised onions, apples, mashed potatoes)”, which I requested with fried potatoes, was not convincing this evening. The liver and sauce have probably been kept warm for a long time, and the fried potatoes have also lost any roasted aroma. Conclusion: Good beer, inconsistent cuisine. Der Gastraum ist modern eingerichtet, die Plastikrahmen der Fotos an der Wand sacken schon etwas durch. die Atmosphäre wirtshausgemäß lebhaft. Die Karte bietet Hauptgerichte zwischen 15 und 35 Euro, der Service ist schnell und zugewandt. Ich starte mit "Obazda (Essiggurke, rote Zwiebel, Bauernbrot)", der einfach sensationell ist. Bei den wenigen Gästen in einem unendlich großen Raum ist es nachvollziehbar, dass der Wirt an den Heizkosten sparen muss. Für die Gäste ist das im Winter eher unangenehm. Bei dem ausgewählten Essen, obwohl heiß serviert, wird dem frierenden Gast auch nicht wirklich warm: Eine wie Kleister anmutende Pilzsauce und Tiroler Gröstl mit verbranntem, zähem Fleisch laden nicht zu einem weiteren Besuch ein.

I was there for the second time yesterday. When we visited both, we found that the service left a lot to be desired. Yesterday we were assigned a place and the order was only taken after 10 minutes. The food came very quickly and was good. There were hardly any guests present apart from us. When our plates were empty they were also cleared away. When our glasses were empty there was no reaction. No questions, no attempt to make eye contact. After 20 minutes with empty glasses, we were able to intercept the waiter as he was serving other guests. However, we didn't feel like consuming any more drinks in this inn. We paid and left. In the meantime, two more tables were occupied, so it wasn't due to stress or overwork. I was there about 6 weeks ago, unfortunately we had the same experience back then. The same waiter, similarly little activity. Everyone receives a second chance from me, unfortunately this was not used. We won't go there anymore. Apparently you don't need any sales there. We have also removed Kühners from the list of possible locations for our club celebration (20 people). Too bad

Ein toller Abend mit sehr gutem Essen. Lockere Wirtshaus Atmosphäre in schöner Lokation. Klasse Service und schnell bei durchschnittlicher Besetzung des Restaurants. Spezialität für außergewöhnliche Schnitzelvariationen wovon wir zwei probiert hatten. Einmal das Elsässer Schnitzel mit Schmand und Speck oder das Spiegelei-.Speck- bzw Bacon-Schnitzel waren schnell bestellt und noch schneller serviert. Rundherum ein toller Besuch im Wirtshaus. Danke und immer wieder.

One of the best, if not THE best, pub in Karlsruhe and the surrounding area. The beer garden is very large and inviting. The service was very friendly and attentive and the food was simply great. My knuckle was incredibly crispy and very juicy on the inside. The sauce is a dream and goes perfectly with the dumplings. The coleslaw with bacon rounds off the whole meal perfectly with its slightly sour note. Clear recommendation to visit this restaurant. Great value is placed on quality and service. Price-performance is therefore unbeatable.

A small celebration was coming up. I reserved a table for 4 people. We were warmly welcomed by a service employee and escorted to the table. Rump steak, cordon bleu, pork knuckle and sausage salad with fried potatoes were ordered. The food came at the same time and was very tasty. By the way, I ate the knuckle. We were very satisfied. There is a large wine list. Of course I drank a beer. My tip, you should try the Hopp House beer.

Beer garden with appropriate food. More standard or “home-style” schnitzel and burger dishes. The beer garden could have a little more greenery in the form of plants or something similar. Service is quick and friendly. Overall completely fine, P/L is also ok. However, my taste could have been a bit more charming and ideas, both on the menu and in the beer garden.

That was, without exaggeration, the best pork knuckle I've ever had. The meat fell off the bone when I used the knife - as you know from good spare ribs! The crust is super crispy and the meat is juicy and delicious. The second dish we had was the Maultaschen with potato salad - also delicious and recommended! Portions were plentiful and the prices were absolutely reasonable! We were so full that we couldn't eat dessert... So we took two Kaiserschmarn pancakes with us, which we'll eat at home later! Even though it's a little further to drive (approx. 45 minutes from here) - it was my first, but certainly not my last time there :-)

Heard a lot of positive things about the Kühners Wirtshaus from friends. Ate with friends via Lieferando. That was ok. But today on site....couldn't believe it. Resteraunt extremely uncomfortable. Beer garden...what's that supposed to mean? Every construction site is more comfortable. Food...sorry, didn't work at all. Knuckle dry without end. Deer sausage fried. We were extremely disappointed. Cheap isn't always great.

The team at Kühners deserves an honorary award! I have never experienced such a courteous, sensitive team. After a “human mishap” happened to a guest, they did everything they could to help. To top it all off, we were treated to dessert. Here the guest is not just king but a friend. But the food was also star-worthy and sumptuous. The dessert was a sensation. The Kühlers is a place to feast, feel good and be among people. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED! !

The food was great, the service was very friendly, but the outside area could do with a bit more decoration and plants, the beautiful old stone troughs in particular look very sad, without any plants at all, and a privacy screen towards the garage area would also be nice!

The Kühners is beautifully located on the Alb, with a great atmosphere inside and when the weather is good ☀️ you can enjoy a nice beer 🍺 outside in the beer garden. My recommendation 👍🏻

My dinner was just ok but the rest of our party was satisfied. Nice dining area. Our server never came by our table even once to refill our drink orders. We had to flag someone down every time we needed something. The restaurant wasn't even at half capacity on a Saturday night.

My husband and I go there often. We think the price-performance ratio is very good.

My daughter ordered 3 meals on Sunday for around 50 euros via Lieferando. Unfortunately we didn't check the delivery straight away and only one meal was delivered complete and 1 salad and the garlic sauce from a second meal and the third was completely missing. After calling Kühners we were told that it was none of Kühners' business and that we should contact Lieferando. We couldn't achieve anything there either. When we tried again at Kühner's and asked whether something had been forgotten, we were told very clearly that this was none of Kühner's business. So to speak, you have your money and you don't care about anything else. Since we have visited the restaurant ourselves several times, we are disappointed by this behavior.

Very pleasant ambience only at half capacity and very loud. The waitresses are friendly and ambitious. They see when the glass is empty and then ask if you would like to order something else. The food itself is delicious, but I and other people at my table had to add salt to everything except the side dish dalat. Although every person's feeling is different, it was clearly under-salted. Unfortunately, since the sauce is served separately, adding salt is a bit difficult. I've been there twice and on my first visit the food was cold. The second time it was cold with my companions. Compared to other restaurants of this level, the inn is a bit expensive, but if the food had been warm every time and tasted better, it would be 4 stars.

We were there again (5/1/24) Drinks arrived quickly, the order for the food was forgotten 30 minutes later and with 5 tables occupied, it's understandable! Sausage salad with fries came twice and sausage salad came without fries! They were then served later, the sausage salad was really underground! Oily to the end and it resembled an undressed side salad (see picture) Even then, we didn't give such great feedback. To be fair, 1 sausage salad, if you can call it that, was deducted from the bill! Both meals ended up in the toilet because it was just too oily!! Have been here several times but prices are rising and quality is declining!! A pity See, the picture definitely has nothing to do with sausage salad

Leider eine mehr als enttäuschende Erfahrung. Der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal wirkt genervt, man sitzt gerne mal eine halbe Stunde vor einem leeren Glas, was für mich schon gar nicht geht. Einer Bedienung ist beim Abräumen etwas runter gefallen, was durchaus mal passieren kann. Allerdings gab es an Stelle einer Entschuldigung nur einen saloppen Spruch: "Das Messer lag halt nicht richtig auf dem Teller". Was soll das für mich als Gast bedeuten? Dass ich selbst schuld bin? Weiter mit dem Essen. Ich habe ein Wiener Schnitzel bestellt, einen Beilagensalat und zwei Spezi. Ich war bei einer Gesamtrechnung von über 41 Euro. Ich bin mittlerweile mit diesen Preisen vertraut und damit auch nicht schockiert. Was mich allerdings mehr als geärgert hat, war die Portion. Das Schnitzel war für einen Preis von rund 27 Euro fast lächerlich klein (siehe Foto). Auf Nachfrage bekam ich wieder nur eine schnippusche Antwort, es würde am Metzger liegen. Einen erneuten Besuch in diesem Restaurant wird es für mich nicht geben und empfehlen kann ich es leider auch niemandem. Alles in allem, wie ich Eingangs geschrieben habe, mehr als enttäuschend.

I am now familiar with these prices and am not shocked by them. What annoyed me more than anything, however, was the portion. The schnitzel was almost ridiculously small for a price of around 27 euros. When I asked, I only got a snippy answer that it was the butcher's fault. I won't be visiting this restaurant again and unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone. All in all, as I wrote at the beginning, more than disappointing.
