Kaiser Grill in Karlsruhe

My son and I each had a pizza. I've loved it there for ages. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean. And I definitely want to mention the delicious free tea 😊 I'll be happy to come back here again and again!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place at all. The food was of poor quality; the kebab was tough, the bread extremely hard, and the salad seemed old. Yes, I know the place opens at 10 a.m. and stays open until 5 a.m., but that's no excuse! Not to mention the meat; the taste was very unusual and inedible; you chew on it endlessly; it tasted rubbery. I only ate half and threw the rest away; a very disappointing experience. I definitely won't order from here again. And I advise anyone who likes fast food to stay away.

Unfortunately they didn't have any 67Döner so 1 star the kebab didn't taste as expected it tasted more like socks than kebab but good

One star is even too many. Honestly, it doesn't taste good at all! I wouldn't even give it to my dog. I got diarrhea here. Old meat, rotten! Just stay away from here.

I've already eaten the pizza and recently got another Yufka. And what can I say...it was SUPER DELICIOUS as always...I'd go back anytime...keep up the good work 💜💜💜

I had to! Give it 1 star, otherwise this review wouldn't be possible. It's a falafel box with fries. €9. You can't get enough for your money once. Never again. Instead, bon appetit... uallah, lick me... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry guys, but please avoid this place. The fries were almost too big for the portion, especially at €5! I ordered lahmacun, and it was a disgrace. There was almost no meat in it, and they didn't add any extra because I only ordered meat and sauce, and then he looked at me askance. The taste and size were a disaster. Just disgusting pieces of skin and peppers. That's how you scare away customers. You'll never see me again. Shame on you.

Very friendly staff, the freshness and quality are top notch. A lot of love went into the renovation, and you can tell. I definitely recommend it, as I've been satisfied with the price-performance ratio and the overall experience for years!

The prices are on the higher side, which is hard to understand given the quality. The service is attentive and prompt. The food falls short of expectations in terms of taste. The ingredients don't seem particularly fresh, the meat is tough with a rubbery texture, and the flavor is rather bland. The ambiance is modern and excellent. Conclusion: It's sufficient for a quick meal. However, given the prices, you should expect more; you shouldn't expect a culinary experience here. Perhaps it's just that the quality simply drops in the evening.

The employees do not wash their hands at all.

When I pointed out that I only wanted meat, the man behind the counter turned around and, of his own accord, added an extra portion of meat between the buns. That's service.

It was definitely nice. The kebab was good. The meat was firm and the sauce was perhaps a bit too much, but it was still tasty. The people behind the counter were polite and the service was quick.

With all due respect, but what kind of kebab is this? Unfortunately, it's tasteless; you can't taste the meat. It has the consistency of a gummy bear, but without any flavor. The salad and sauce save it somewhat.

I have been a satisfied customer since 2012. Great service and the best yufka in town.

Ich habe schon viel Iskenderkebab gegessen, aber im Kaisergrill ist erste Sahne. Auch anderes essen wie Lamachun ist toll. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Gehe sehr oft dort essen holen, es war immer sehr gut. Bitte bleibt so! 🥰👍👍👍

Was there in the afternoon, the place was pretty empty. It was exemplary clean, the Yufka was right there when I came from the toilet. The portion was decent, but not the cheapest either. There was too much meat in relation to the rest for my taste. I can only speculate about the quality of the meat, as it was lukewarm at best. But I didn't really care at that moment because I was hungry! Some of this may sound like criticism, but it is meant to be objectively observed, which is why it deserves 4 stars.

Not very good food quality, overpriced for what you get (7€ for a meh Yufka) and the service people are a bit creepy too. The atmosphere is worsened by the cold sterile lights and annoying media playing on the TV. But it gets the job done, doesn't taste particularly bad and is open way past the times Eleven Kebap is, so that's a plus. I can see they're at least trying.

I ate lahmacundöner. Super tasty. Even the lahmacun dough was different and crunchy and delicious. Afterwards tea was on the house. And the ring-shaped candy was fresh and amazing. The service was also very nice... All in one, if I'm in KA again I'll eat there.

The only vegan Seitan Döner in downtown Karlsruhe. I'm there often. It's really nice, it's a bit tight to sit down but everything else is great. The Seitan is sometimes very crispy and sometimes very soft. Both delicious.

I ordered a kebab and didn't eat it all because it was sickening, the salad was from 1945, the meat tasted like horse meat, the bread was harder than a stone. I had a lot of shit. If it worked, 0 stars. The tea was as warm as my urine tasted that way too.

The prices are OK. The service is averagely good. Fast and active operation. Unfortunately, the taste of the whole thing is less great. The ingredients don't really taste fresh, the meat has a rubbery consistency and doesn't taste particularly good either. The ambience is as expected and does not stand out from the run-of-the-mill kebab shop. All in all: If you're in a hurry, it serves its purpose, you shouldn't expect a culinary experience.

Gehört zum Kronenplatz seit eh und je. Essen ist anständig und eine recht gute Auswahl gibt es auch.

Ein Grill wo man satt wird und das Essen schmeckt. Einfach und gut. Die Preise sind okay. Ich hatte einen Döner Teller mit Pommes für 12€.

Der Döner ist geschmacklich super, sehr gut gefüllt und preislich günstig. Er hat selbst die 30min Straßenbahnfahrt problemlos überstanden! Das Personal ist auch sehr nett. Wirklich alles perfekt, kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Der Chef ist sehr jung, zuvorkommend und kann sehr gut kommunizieren. Auch sind sie teilweise sehr Kulant. Das essen ist sehr gut und reichlich, ich gehe schon seit Jahren dort hin.

Bester Mann der eine hinter Theke

Soße und Hähnchen Fleisch echt nich schlecht, doch das Kalb Fleisch lässt zu wünschen übrig. Dennoch ist das Ambiente Innendrin sehr angenehm und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich!

The best and cheapest you can get. There’s another shop beside too but Even though it’s a euro cheaper, you get yummy sauces and you get more chicken in quantity if you’re going for a doner box or doner. The people are nice and the hospitality is nice too:)

Kann nur jedem Tagesmenü empfehlen. Es ist sehr lecker und zudem die Portionen groß genug um richtig satt zu werden. Personal ist ebenfalls nett.

Die Auswahl und die Qualität geht gegen Abend leider drastisch runter und dann wird man noch von der Seite komisch angemacht. Wenn man an einer Dönerbude Samstag Abend keinen Döner mehr bekommt, stimmt am ganzen Aufbau und System irgendwas nicht. Bei dem Fleisch, das noch da war war die Qualität und die Konsistenz auch nicht ganz optimal.

Wirklich lecker, voller Volumen, angemessener Preis

La comida no está mal. Aunque la limpieza de las mesas deja abierta una gran área de mejora. Si tienes hambre y quieres kebab es sabrosa

Grundsätzlich überschlägt man sich im Kaiser Grill nicht unbedingt mit Freundlichkeit, es ist halt aber auch ein Dönerladen. Da sind freundliches Lächeln und Spaß bei der Arbeit grundsätzlich seltener anzutreffen. Der Döner für 4€ war ganz ok, aber nichts Besonderes. Ein solider Döner. Man hat die Wahl zwischen Kalbs- und Hähnchenfleisch. Gibt bessere, aber auch schlechtere Döner.

Ich war in der Mittagspause mit Freunden dort. Wir wurden unhöflich gefragt, was wir wollen. Ich habe einen vegetarischen Yufka ohne Knoblauchsoße bestellt. Bekommen habe ich ne dünne Teigrolle mit grünem Salat und Knoblauchsoße! Lächerlich!! Das habe ich hingenommen und wollte die 3€, die draußen als Preis angeschrieben stehen, zahlen. Der Kassierer hat mich auf aller unhöflichste und unfreundlichste Art aufgefordert 4€ zu zahlen. Ich habe gefragt warum, weil ja 3€ dran steht, woraufhin der Mann mich angefahren hat, ob ich nicht sehen könnte, dass dort Yufka/Döner steht und zwar nicht vegetarisch. Und das bei einer extrem starken Konkurrenz durch ca. 10 andere Dönerläden um Umkreis von 500m. Nie wieder!

Yufka für 5€ die maximal die Größe eines halben Döners haben. Kellner eher unfreundlich zu deutschen. Klos sehr unhygienisch aber zum meckern findet man immer was. Die Pizza war dahin gegen ganz in Ordnung. 3 Sterne ist sehr gerecht 👍🏼

Die schlechten Erfahrungen von JAPplePie entsprechen nicht meinen Erfahrungen. Es handelt sich um den wohl größten und vermutlich bestbesuchten Schnellimbis im Zentralbereich der Karlsruher Kaiserstraße, und ich habe dort im Laufe der letzten 10 Jahre immer mal wieder gegessen, oft auf die Schnelle Yufka Felaffel zum Mitnehmen, hin und wieder aber auch ein Tellergericht. Ich hatte nie Beanstandungen, insgesamt würde ich von mittlerer Qualität sprechen. Größter Pluspunkt: Hier kann man sich auch mit einer größeren Gruppe von 10-15 Leuten hinsetzen. Das Serviceteam arbeitet auch bei größerem Andrang ziemlich fix. Wie es bei JAPplePie zu einer derartigen Häufung von Fehlleistungen kam, kann ich mir nicht erklären.

Ich war zweimal dort und beim ersten Mal hat der Typ tatsächlich den Finger abgeleckt um eine Serviette zu holen, hat Geld kassiert und dann das nächste Yufka gewickelt. Beim zweiten Mal hat meine Freundin ein Falafel Yufka bestellt und nachdem es gewickelt war, haben die zu dritt irgendwas darüber auf türkisch diskutiert und dann tatsächlich das Yufka nochmals ZU DRITT aufgewickelt reingeschaut und JEDER das Ding angefasst und zugewickelt und gedrückt. Das war so angefingert, dass sie es gar nicht mehr essen wollte. Sie hatte ihres ohne Zwiebeln bestellt, meines hat er dann auch einfach ohne gemacht. Die Extra Rumdrückerei hat mein Yufka zum Glück nur von einer Person ertragen müssen. EKELHAFT!
