Great dishes. My favorite was the duck plate with rice the sauce is a little heavy but really tasty and good portion!

Didn't have a chance to test the food. Because I was alone, I was placed at the very end of the bar counter in a dark spot, while small tables were available just behind in a "closed" area. When I explained why I was leaving, the waiter didn't even bother to find an alternative. Another place which doesn't need customers, I guess....

The food was very tasty. Clean and fresh. All the dishes were beautiful and everyone enjoyed, children and adults. Besides, the place is in a magical and beautiful courtyard.

We went for dinner, a place with an average pleasant appearance, more the external part than the internal part. staff not very empathetic and polite. Long wait, very expensive menu, the sushi not of excellent quality, almost anonymous, instead very good noodles full of flavour. I would definitely go back for the noodles, I recommend both the vegetarian and the duck ones which are truly exceptional.

I thought for a long time whether I should write the review because we always enjoyed eating at Kuchi. The chef had a cold and sneezed several times on the food. Apparently the fish wasn't fresh because my companion had severe nausea and vomited all evening. It's a shame we were good customers.

Unfortunately, I have to write this negative review, even though we have been visiting the Kuchi restaurant regularly for years and have always been satisfied. On Saturday evening my brother-in-law, my partner and I visited the restaurant again. My brother-in-law and partner shared sushi while I only ordered vegetarian sushi. My partner and my brother-in-law began to have severe symptoms on Sunday morning. They suffered from extreme diarrhea, high fever, body aches, headaches, dizziness, vomiting and stomach pain. The symptoms worsened rapidly. On Tuesday my partner's condition was so serious that he couldn't even walk. With great difficulty we managed to find a doctor who immediately referred him to the emergency room in the hospital. There he immediately received infusions and other necessary treatments. Today, almost a week after our visit, my partner is still in the hospital. His symptoms, particularly diarrhea and stomach pain, remain severe. Unfortunately, the doctors still can't tell us when he will be discharged. My brother-in-law also has diarrhea to this day. It is obvious that the fish they served was not fresh and probably poorly stored. This experience left us deeply disappointed and upset. We hope the restaurant will reconsider and improve its storage and hygiene practices to prevent such incidents in the future

Great dinner place with friends. Have eaten here several times. Always hits. Definitely recommend if passing by.

The lunch menu is amazing. Quality wise probably one of the best lunches you can get in this neighborhood.

The worst sushi, Japanese food I’ve ever had in my entire life….. and the worst money I spent this year….. I don’t understand why many guests were there to eat food…… I won’t go back for the food ever again! Not tasty at all and small portion….. I wish I could get the money back… literally.. BUT I’ve learned my lesson (the photo was the worst last menu)

Man, i love sushi and always thought no matter where you go, sushi can never be bad. But it was here !! Below average sushi quality, small size and super expensive. You can have high quality authentic Japanese sushi for the same price. Also, the place was soooo loud, omg,, Absolutely bad sushi and a bad place to spend money. The service was quick and fast. Never again here.

The kimchi salad was absolutely delicious. I love the spicy aspect of it. The sushi we ordered was great, but the portions were huge. The largest I've ever seen. Overall, a satisfying dinner.

We were greeted so rudely by an employee (who is supposedly also the manager there) (Gipsstr. 3) that we initially stood speechless at the reception. We arrived 15 minutes earlier and were told rudely: we were way too early and could either eat in another restaurant or wait outside or not! Afterwards we lost our appetite, although we were looking forward to our dinner in a good mood and very hungry, and we left.

A bit hectic, loud and cramped, but really tasty and surprisingly inexpensive. Absolutely recommended, but definitely make a reservation. Warning: the starters are bigger than you think.

I often order through delivery apps… it’s at least the third time I get the expensive set NigiriDeLuxe menu and the rice keeps on falling apart. Fish is high quality but what enjoyment can I have from a nigiri that breaks as soon as I pick it up with chopsticks? Overrated and overpriced. I will not order again sorry. Please check your rice consistency, it’s a constructive review not an attack.

Sushi and thai salad were delicious. Enjoyable to sit in the courtyard - nice atmosphere. Inside seems a bit more cramped. Service was friendly enough but lacking. Slow to take the order and did not return to hear if we wanted more drinks.

We found it by google map and then just tried it. We had a quick lunch Salmon teriyaki and it came with soup. One thing that I don’t like it Salmon texture is too dry and outside is a bit hard. The sauce should be more stronger. But overall the food was looking good. I am not an expert but I had it from many restaurants in EU and Asia. It could be better than this. The portion is good. The atmosphere would be nice to hang out after work too.

Muy caro. Y la calidad similar a shushi del Carrefour. Los complementos no estaban mal, pero aún así relación calidad precio muy caro.

The fact that you can't go in at the main entrance but through the courtyard entrance annoyed me. People sit tightly packed back to back at long tables in the courtyard. Or relatively dark inside. the waiters are very friendly and helpful. But they seem rushed. No wonder. The delivery services business runs parallel to this. Every 5 minutes the people from the delivery service come in through the main entrance (!) and are handed out the orders. As a guest, you sometimes wait longer for your sushi. This is good but not exactly cheap either. It was too hectic for me. You don't concentrate on the guests on site. A pity.

We were pleasantly surprised, Crunchy Salmon Roll and Tuna are 10/10, the fish tastes super fresh and tender, everything is great. Definitely worth the money!

Delicious! A good sushi option in Berlin

The place is very cozy. There are several options and many dishes adapt to your dietary needs. In any case, the very dish I ordered, the salmon, came a little dry. There are different dishes and sushi.

We initially wanted to have ramen but it’s not available during lunch time so Udon was the next best thing. Portion is very big and it’s filled our hungry tummy in the afternoon after a lot of walking. Service was very friendly and the yuzu lemonade is very refreshing recommend!

We reserved a table today and actually looked forward to it all day. But the reception and the way in which we were spoken to was simply subterranean, cheeky and impertinent. We arrived a little early and had no problem waiting. We politely asked if we could sit at the side of the counter, where we were told that wasn't possible, we worked there and we could also wait outside. (at 0 degrees!) When we asked the waiter again, He said:..."that's not his job...!-" Everyone complains about how bad they are and then you talk to the guest like that??? Just sad.

Foods are always perfect, been here several times with my family unfortunately on our last visit we made a reservation for dinner but we were given a table by the entrance door where the heater is. It was very uncomfortable with the heater blowing on our legs and the table i believe is not for 3 people. Sad that even with a reservation you dont get a nice table atleast. Service that time was also a little bit lousy they dont follow up even if the glasses are all empty. You have to catch their attention to get service.

Kuchi, well. You sit quite uncomfortably on a narrow bench and have the other guest very close to your back. Due to the crampedness and the noise at the tables, the atmosphere felt more like a guesthouse. The waitresses are very friendly. The prices are too high for the quality of the food. The sushi was solid, but not particularly enjoyable. You don't have to have been here, of course you can. It didn't really convince me for the second time. I won't go there again. I would rather recommend the Sasaya on Lychener Straße, a different league and not more expensive, on the contrary.

The food was excellent and plentiful and very fresh for a fair price...The staff is friendly, but a bit unmotivated...sometimes it took a long time before you were noticed! But basically it's really great... what's annoying is the delivery companies that keep coming in, they make sitting at the entrance very uncomfortable. The drivers usually don't pay any attention...

I ordered a salmon Donburi and it tastes really bad. It doesn’t look like the photo, it’s deep fried and the only flavour you get is of its oiliness. Do not recommend

Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten und zu dritt waren haben die Mitarbeiter ihr Bestes gegeben und uns noch an einen Tisch dazuplatzieren können. Darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Das Essen hat wunderbar geschmeckt, sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptgerichte 🙌🏻 wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Schönes, modernes Restaurant - solides Sushi mit Luft nach oben! Wir waren an einem Wochenende zu Gast im Kuchi-Mitte! Wir bekamen einen Platz direkt an der Theke. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und schnell! Wir bestellten die Dumpling-Variation als Vorspeise und verschiedene Sushi-Varianten. Die Dumplings waren okay - am besten haben uns die mit Schweinefleisch gefüllten gefallen. Beim Sushi war alles sehr lecker, manche mehr manche weniger… Die Rolls mit Thunfischtartar waren empfehlenswert! Alles in allem hatten wir aber uns aber gerade von den Special-rolls bisschen mehr erwartet. Auch preislich ist das Restaurant für Sushi eher im höheren Bereich angesiedelt. Empfehlenswert sicher, Wiederholung aber eher nicht - dafür gibt es genügend vergleichbare Restaurants mit niedrigerem Preisniveau.

Ottima qualità del pesce e buona scelta di piatti. Kuchi è sempre al primo posto per i pranzi di lavoro, a Mitte la location è molto bella, specialmente in estate.

The service is sooooo bad !!! Four of us girls dined here and were talking after our meal, then the waiter gave us a dessert which we thought was complimentary and thanked him for it. When we paid the bill we found out that we had to pay 6 euros for the dessert. We said we didn't order the dessert and the waiter said did you eat it? If you did you have to pay.Because we ordered too less or what ? Why u guys have to be so mean to us ? U can just say : “hey , u didn’t order that much and u stay here for too long. Pls order more”. Its really no problem,but why trick us?

We came to this restaurant based on the reviews and were not disappointed, the food was wonderful with super fresh ingredients. We ordered the Yaki skewers to start, then we ordered the Sushi 4 2 and it was splendid. I loved the atmosphere with tables outside.

Netter Innenhof. Im Sommer sehr gemütlich. Allerdings sind die Bänke nicht sonderlich bequem.

Von 9 auf 12 Euro innerhalb von ein paar Monaten, wow. Meine Lieblingssuppe esse ich jetzt also teurer, na gut, damit komme ich schon zurecht, wenn's nicht jeden Tag ist. Ein Kellner war angenehm, deshalb 2 Sterne für den Service. Hätte ich allerdings nur mit dem folgenden Herren zu tun gehabt, hätte es nur einen Stern gegeben. Womit ich nun wirklich nicht zurecht komme, Teuerung hin oder her, ist arrogantes Personal. Der Jüngste im Team hat mich schon so abschätzend am Tisch begrüßt und meinte, ob ich es denn hinbekomme, den Tisch bis 17 Uhr wieder zu verlassen. Ankunftszeit 16:20. Die Suppe war beim letzten, wie auch bei diesem Besuch nach ca 5 min da. Es ging auch eher um die Art hierbei, als um die Info an sich. Die nur halbherzig unterdrückte Arroganz, die durch seine gequälte Freundlichkeit drang. Das Ganze gipfelte zum Schluss, als er sich ein paar Sekunden Zeit ließ um mir als Antwort auf meine Verabschiedung knapp und unfreundlich ein monotones "tschao" aus nahezu geschlossen Lippen entgegen zu pressen. Nicht zu vergessen dabei wieder sein gering schätziger Blick, der eine unverhohlene Ablehnung zum Ausdruck brachte. Hätte ich mich daneben benommen, ok, wäre nachvollziehbar gewesen. Aber ich saß da knapp 20 Minuten, habe in Ruhe meine Suppe gegessen, war freundlich und habe auch 1€ Trinkgeld gegeben. Sorry aber die angenehme, aufmerksame Präsenz des Service Personals ist fast die halbe Miete bei so einem Laden. Vielleicht war er noch was grün hinter den Ohren, aber ich hoffe doch für die nächsten Kunden, dass er noch eine kleine Schulung in Freundlichkeit bekommt und, dass er lernt seine spontanen Antipathien besser zu filtern, zumindest wenn er bei der Arbeit ist. Tried several food here. The roll is pretty disappointed, the rich is too soggy, don’t really hold. Spicy tuna roll is fine, but the California roll only have avocado and cucumber, don’t even have salmon, which cost us €8, not worth it. The seafood salad is so good tho. Probably won’t come back but is a nice place for a date

Average Berlin sushi restaurant run by Vietnamese. Quality is ok but nothing special.

Ein gemütliches Ambiente im Innenhof, den man von Außen nicht sieht. Die Pflanzen sind teilweise leider vertrocknet, aber die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Leckeres Sushi und Sashimi und eine heisse Udonnudelsuppe!

Ohne Reservierung hatten wir leider auch unter der Woche keine Chance, einen Platz draußen zu ergattern. Daher mein Tipp: unbedingt reservieren, denn in dem schattigen Hinterhof sitzt man im Sommer sehr schön. Wir mussten heute leider mit Plätzen drinnen vorlieb nehmen. Der Service war aufmerksam und blickig und Getränke und Speisen kamen in angemessener Zeit. Alles war wirklich lecker und auch Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Wir hatten einen Mix aus Starters, Hauptgericht und Sushi und können alles nur loben. Der Preis ist sicher etwas gehobener, lohnt sich für das Gebotene aber auf jeden Fall. Nächstes Mal sind wir klüger und reservieren rechtzeitig, aber kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr einfach, schnell noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. War allerdings alleine 😉 Service war sehr schnell und super. Das essen war wirklich super lecker. Das ambiente war wirklich sehr gut, aber mit minimal Luft nach oben. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Essen war lecker. Teilweise etwas preisintensiver aber noch OK. Sushi und Dim Sum waren lecker. Nur die Ambiente hat mir jetzt nicht hundertprozentig gefallen. Durch die recht dichte Bestuhlung war es doch etwas laut. Nur ein Tipp bezüglich des Sushi. Wenn mehrere Leute Sushi bestellen, lasst es auf getrennten Platten servieren. Wir haben es auf anraten des Servicepersonals auf einer gemeinsamen Platte und sind nicht klar gekommen, das Sushi korrekt zu zuordnen. Das Personal hat zwar versucht zu helfen, wir habens aber trotzdem nicht hinbekommen.

We had salmon and tuna sushi 🍣 The dumplings 🥟 were okay. But i liked the red chicken soup 🍲 the most! Staffs were nice and I would recommend this place for Japanese food lover.

If i could, i would touch my kuchi!

Very authentic food. Makes Wagamama look like McDonald's! The restaurant has an expensive feel with kind, attentive servers; we made a mistake on our order and it was taken back to the kitchen immediately despite being our fault with apologies from our server! We left content and full. The only detractor is the busyness of the restaurant which lends to it's credit but was a little distracting. If I'm in Berlin again and have a hankering for Japanese, it's going to be KUCHI Mitte.

Food is so good but have to say that some people working here are kind of rude, people of Kuchi Kant are nicer.

If you've moved from Russia and miss places like "Yakitoria" and "Tanuki", you'll probably like KUCHI inside-out rolls. The rolls were great, very fresh. Staff is friendly. Will comeback for sure!
