It's been a long time since I've eaten really good pasta! The service was also really great and child-friendly.

Even if prices feels fancy, it's totally worth it. You can really tell how good of a quality the food is and how fresh the products are. The ( I guess ) homemade bread was a killer, we love how creative they are with their salads and the gnocchi tasted like a dream. Just wishing they had more veggie options coming soon on the menu ! Would highly recommend anyways

My partner and I went there for dinner. The place was cozy and had the classic characteristics of an italian trattoria. The food we ordered (Nodini di maiale con patate al forno and Paccheri al ragu di polpo) was among the tastiest I've ever eaten. We also ordered the cheesecake which was also on par with the main dishes we ordered. I would definitely come back in the future.

I’ve been to La Pecora Nera three times and the food was excellent every single time. Especially the pulled duck appetizer we had last night was a dream. Very much recommended if you’d like to try Italian dishes other than pizza.

I didn't like it. The gnocchi was bland and so was the green sauce.

The food is very tasty, the portions are a little small. A starter and main course are sometimes not enough to fill you up, but the prices are a little too expensive. But otherwise it's a great restaurant with very tasty food

Small plates of food with a cozy atmosphere. Need to order at least three dishes per person to feel like a hearty meal. And of course excluding the desert. With a decent wine selection, it definitely creates a cozy evening for small groups.

If we want to have a really good and tasty Italian meal, then we always come back to La Pecora Nera. Everything is just right here. Super nice service, very tasty food and good wines. Everything in a relaxed, nice atmosphere. We have been coming here for years now and have never been disappointed, in fact every dish is a new revelation. No matter whether it's unusual flavor combinations or down-to-earth Bigoli dishes. Everything is always very tasty.

We returned here for dinner and I have to say things have definitely gotten worse. My girlfriend ate a small charcuterie starter (with a few cured meats, a strange piece of bread with some tasteless tomato and a small bowl of olives, paid the exaggeration of 20 euros)... Two portions of bigoli (so small that in the other restaurants would be considered half portions) lightly salted. With a normal Prosecco (30e) we spent a total of around 100 euros. I honestly felt cheated and as an Italian I'm sorry that restaurants like this exist. I'm writing the review in German because I think Italians already know this restaurant and stay away from it... my advice: avoid it too!

Wir waren heute Abend wieder in diesem Restaurant und ich muss sagen, dass die Küche definitiv schlechter geworden ist. Auf dem Teller befanden sich sehr wenige Würstchen und zwei Stücke Käse, gekochte Karotten und eine seltsame Schüssel Brot mit geschmackloser Tomatensoße. Die Bigoli (Nudeln) waren sehr wenige und salzig. Der Kaffee war verbrannt. Wir schreiben diesen Kommentar auf Deutsch und entschuldigen uns für eventuelle Grammatikfehler, um diesen schrecklichen Restaurant abzuraten, für das als Italiener wir uns jetzt schämen. Früher war es ein gutes Restaurant, heute ist es unserer Meinung nach eine Schande für die italienische Küche.

We were at this restaurant tonight after about a year and I have to say that, in my opinion, the cuisine has deteriorated enormously. There were very few cured meats on the platter and two pieces of cheese, boiled carrots and a strange bowl of bread covered in tasteless tomato sauce. The bigoli (pasta) was very few and salty. The coffee was burnt. We ate a starter divided in half and two pasta (bigoli) and spent 90 euros. We are writing this comment in German and apologize for any grammatical errors, precisely to advise against this terrible restaurant that we are ashamed of for now being so bad. It used to be a good restaurant, but today, in our opinion, it is a disgrace to Italian cuisine.

Overall, I liked the experience. The food is tasty, full of flavors. But the portion sizes are too small and too pricey unfortunately (compared to same quality italian restaurants in the neighborhood). Tomato pasta cost about 15€. Wine is also quite expensive for what it is... Staff is kind.

Loved it. Small, cosy and rich with focus on good food. Great small menu with seasonal dishes. I had the beef check and celeriac puree which was 11/10. To finish the chocolate tart which was rich and tastefully bitter. go and try this place. Gem in the Schillerkiez.

Ein wunderschöner Abend an den wir noch lange denken werden. Wer unter italienischem Essen vor allem Pizza und Insalata Tono versteht ist hier sicher falsch. Hervorragende Aromen und eine tolle Weinkarte machen den Besuch zu einer kleinen Reise am Abend. Gern und immer wieder.

The food was good but with small portions. We ordered started and main( main like a starter) and dessert but still hungry. The price is high,but the environment and decoration of the restaurant don’t fit the level.😅😂The food taste good and service are also good.

Food was fine, albeit expensive. So would have been 4 stars easily. But the big issue for me was this: I ordered a main, a starter and a beer. I asked for a glass of tap water along side that. So NOT instead of another drink, but IN ADDITION to the beer I paid for. The response: "We'd rather have you order a bottle". What the hell? Are you kidding me? Feels really cheap, rude and uncomfortable to get such a reply from your waitor. Absolutely horrible policy (might even be illegal in Germany, I'm not sure) that makes me not want to come back here, I soured on the place. If they ever change that policy and I hear of that, I'll edit my rating.

Great food from northern Italy (Veneto) and very tasty pasta! They also really know their way around wine. Only downside is that portions are a bit too small for the price.

Finalmente un ristorante di cucina italiana, tendente al Veneto, con cibi tradizionali leggermente rivisti e presentati molto bene. Insomma c'è qualcuno che ha il coraggio di premiare il cliente con la qualità e la personalità dei nostri piatti e non con l'omologazione di basso livello che si trova troppo spesso nei ristoranti "italiani".

Another fantastic Italian restaurant. The guys here know the people at Caligari so they have a friendly competition. It's a simple summer menu here. I only had the main course: it was a.seafood pasta large rings of pasta and mussels with a.cream parsley sauce - delicious! It was al dente pasta and nicely seasoned, you have to be Italian to do that! I was with another Italian and he found this amazing prosecco on the menu. Friendly staff who can dance! Good music! Even the other guests are friendly, we took some to the next place with us. I want to go back and finish the menu

Very nice restaurant, not your "typical all-around Italian restaurant" with great care on their dishes and often updated menu. Would definitely recommend, even though I find it overpriced.

Unfortunately this place changed a lot over the years… it’s not as homey anymore and all in all over priced. Also to tell your guests on the first page of your menu that the restaurant doesn’t serve tap water does not feel very friendly or welcoming. Also it is very Common in similar places. The food us still good though, it just doesn’t fit the price concept.

Nachdem wir unsere Bestellung aufgegeben hatten, erhielten wir in gebrochenem Deutsch die Anweisung, das Restaurant unmittelbar nach dem Essen zu verlassen, da unsere Bestellung als zu klein angesehen wurde. Wenn man beispielsweise nur eine Pasta und ein Getränk bestellen möchte und auf Vorspeisen und Desserts verzichtet, besteht die Möglichkeit, dass der Abend kürzer verläuft als geplant. Das Essen selbst war zwar lecker, jedoch hat der unangebrachte Kommentar des Kellners unsere Stimmung getrübt.

Si mangia italiano, veramente Italiano. I titolari sono veneti. La materia prima è ottima, la scelta dei vini ampia e di eccellente qualità. Non aspettatevi di mangiare piatti di quelli inqualificabili alla italo-style (tipo "spaghetti bolognese".. ), questa è un'ottima trattoria che potreste trovare in una normale città italiana. Ciò che non mi è piaciuto è stata un po' di incostanza per cui su dieci volte 6 non ho mangiato benissimo. Comunque per quelle volte che ho mangiato bene ci ritornerò senz'altro.

Selbst gemachte Pasta, schöner Platz, leckere Aperol Spritz, nicht günstig, dafür gut, wenn auch keine besonders großen Portionen (passend zum Konzept).

Ich mag es hier sehr. Der Kellner weiß was er verkauft, tolle Weine auf der Karte, essen auch top, manchmal bescheiden gewürzt jedoch. Desserts waren immer on Point!

Menù breve, forse un po' troppo. Per il prezzo e per la lunghezza del menù mi sarei aspettato dei piatti più saporiti (ho assaggiato un primo e un dolce). Molta attenzione all'impiattamento ma rimango dubbioso sul resto.

Sehr hochwertiges und frisches Essen, der Koch hat mindestens einen Stern verdient. Alle Speisen die wir hatten: Oktopus, Artischocke, Adlerfisch und auch der Nachtisch waren ein Gedicht. Der Rotwein war zwar nicht günstig, aber auch hier passte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Kellner sind sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Scarsissima scelta vegana, purtroppo ancora una volta i ristoratori italiani non riescono a stare al passo coi tempi. Generalmente prezzi molto alti (ogni cestino di pane costa 3 euro), e per una cena complessiva per 8 persone di quasi 400 euro non ci è stato offerto nemmeno il caffè. Spero che questo feedback porti a un miglioramento generale.

Bistrot di cucina italiana regionale (Veneto), situato nel cuore di Neukölln. Piatti particolari, con buona varietà tra antipasti, primi, secondi e dessert. Sfortunatamente la scelta vegana è nulla. Il locale è molto piccolo ma accogliente, i camerieri gentili e disponibili. Prezzi sopra la media ma si può pagare con carta. I piatti hanno spazio di miglioramento, ma sono da evidenziare positivamente il tagliere dell'antipasto con il radicchio tardivo di Treviso e l'Aperol Spritz.

I went there with my boyfriend having no idea what was on the menu; I'm a vegetarian and not a big fan of cheese, which is why I couldn't find a dish I could consider tasty enough to order. My boyfriend wanted to leave, but I thought that would be rude and suggested that we at least order a drink before leaving, just to support the venue. As we were sitting and waiting for our drinks, I heard the waiter and another man (the owner, I think?) complaining in Italian that we had not ordered food, saying that 'it is an excuse many people use not to order because it is expensive'. I was shocked by the rudeness of the whole situation! Maybe you should be more careful talking about your customers while they are sitting right next to you, because you were lucky enough to be talking right next to an Italian person who could understand everything you said. I am not leaving one star because I did not try the food, but the Aperol Spritz was not the best. You should definitely shower in kindness before going to work.

If you are “fully booked” and dont have “walk in seats” (as good places normally have) at least dont be rude and do not make a performance by opening the door and asking your guests to leave. It was extremely impolite. Hope you will work on your manners and will be more friendly with your customers next time.

Früher ein Laden mit guter Küche und fairen Preisen. Mittlerweile ist der Küche gehoben, die Portionen sehr klein und die Preise fernab jeglicher Relation. Schade, früher war der Laden eine Institution in Neukölln.

Gehobene italienische Küche in einem super einfach gehaltenen Restaurant das eher an eine Studentenwohnung erinnert. Der Rotwein, der uns empfohlen worden ist, war fantastisch.Ich fand es irritierend, dass die Rechnung händisch auf einem Stück Papier notiert worden ist.

Went here with my boyfriend which is Italian and works in Italian gastronomy in Berlin. We wanted to try the place because we love italien food but we were pretty disappointed. Small portions of really untasty food. We tried to keep it cheap but we ended up paying too much for what we got. I understand we’re not anywhere near the Adriatic sea but this seppie tasted like plastic, definitely not a good experience. Too bad because with a little more effort they could get some better and tastier food.

Ich war gestern mit den Kollegen essen. Alle waren super begeistert. Der Kellner war von Anfang bis zum Ende des Abends zu uns gegenüber einfach Klasse. Wenn man Italienisch mit kreativen Gerichten aus Venetien ausprobieren möchte, dann ist Pecora Nera der richtige Ort.

Am vergangenen Samstagabend durften wir in den Genuss der himmlischen Küche der "LA PECORA NERA" kommen - von der Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgang und dem Dessert. Und alles war einfach HERVORRAGEND! WOW! Auch die Bedienung sowie der Service waren sehr zuvorkommend und professionell. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch! GRAZIE! 😊

Very kind and attentive staff. They helped me with a nice wine pairing to bigoli with anchovy sauce. Pasta was a touch too salty but it was overall a warm experience.

The team is super friendly, a true Italian restaurant to discover in Berlin. The food is a perfect mix between Mediterranean culinary tradition and fresh reinterpretation. Lovely selection of natural and regional wines. Great location at just few meters from Tempelhof, one of my favourite park in The city. Don’t be shy.

Due the negative reviews I have read, I feel the duty to write my thoughts about the current management of Pecora Nera in Schillerkiez ; - the owner of the restaurant is neither a Cook nor a Chef, he never was. He is a former food/delivery worker who briefly served as a helper (with negative results) for starters and salads in a restaurant in Mitte. I'm writing this for future customers and in defense of the Italian Gastronomy of Berlin and of the Italians who with difficulty and work have earned the respect and trust of the local community. * Reviews should not be deleted because it serves to inform customers. * Thanks

The Bucatini with Anchovies was pretty much the best pasta I had in years and I eat a lot. Simple, yet so satisfying. The service was so nice and friendly. I didn't like the initial wine so much so I got a better one without any comment or look and all in all I just felt very welcome. Thank you for that!

Waren dort mit Kindern Abendessen. Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Wir hatten die Ravioli und Risotto, welche beide gemundet haben. Insbesondere der Vorspeisensalat mit Kräutern war sehr lecker. #empfehlenswert

Great place to sit by the square and share a bottle of wine with friends. 😊 BUT, if you want to eat GOOD food, DO NOT COME HERE. Their salad is downright non-sauced weeds collected from the park nearby! And I had some of the worst raviolis of my life here. CAUTIOUSLY approach this place as a bar ONLY. Service is also not very professional TBH.

Da landet man spontan und an einem höchst belebten Abend einen unerwarteten Treffer: im Schwarzen Schaf. Der Service zuvorkommend trotz Hochbetrieb und das kleine Essen ein aromatischer Knaller, der auch handwerklich richtig gut gemacht war; dazu noch das Glück, den richtigen Wein zu Risotto und karamelisiertem Chiccoree erwischt zu haben. Wirklich lecker. Ich komme wieder!

Went there for our anniversary dinner. Wife chose the place because she loves Italian and usually picks the best places. Was very excited at first. The restaurant was understaffed on a busy day. The food was undercooked and bland. Overpriced, small portions, bad food: the holy Trinity for restaurants not to visit again. Went home happy cuz wife doesn't get to choose restaurants for this year. 😊

Good spot for a glass of wine but the food is overpriced and overall not good value for money. Especially the salad was not even edible.

Maleducato come pochi. Uno chef che non sa nemmeno accettare positivamente un feedback su uno spritz oggettivamente fatto male e che tratta male i clienti non può fare altro che vergognarsi. Almeno evitalo se il cliente è pure veneto!

I came here 2 years ago and honestly it was delicious and worth the money even if it was already a bit too expensive (considering the not so fancy location and the small portions). This time though the food wasn't that good at all for the price. The "tagliere" was the only satisfying thing, but honestly the rest was poorly cooked. The pasta was dry and didn't have much condiment and the super dry spongy dessert (which was called "Zuppa Inglese" - see picture attached) didn't make sense at all, it had nothing of Zuppa Inglese and it looked just wrong. I was very disappointed about the dessert. The service was really nice, but altogether the experience was not worth the money at all so I decided to leave two stars!
