Everything was wonderful, service a bit slow

Cozy stylish location, food was delicious!

We were in Berlin for three days. On the second evening, we made an online reservation 1.5 hours in advance. We received immediate, very friendly service, and the food was wonderful. The portions were generous. Everything was so good that we immediately decided to eat here again the next (last) evening, and we were not disappointed! We highly recommend l'Osteria!

We were there last Saturday with 14 people, in a cozy corner in the gallery. We all enjoyed the food. But the HIGHLIGHT was DOMENICA! Very friendly, attentive, always smiling, funny, and with a clear voice when welcoming the large group. Everything went very quickly. If something was missing, it was on the table in a minute. The food arrived simultaneously. She dashed up and down the stairs like crazy. It couldn't be better. The service was outstanding, and we'd gladly come back. Thank you so much, Domenica!

Not a big kitchen but really tasty and very nice service

We spontaneously stopped by on a Sunday evening. The staff greeted us very warmly and seated us upstairs. It was very cozy and pleasantly quiet. The pizzas and pastas were huge. We loved everything! Thank you so much!

L'Osteria near Berlin Hauptbahnhof is truly a beautiful place! The location is super convenient—very close to the station and easy to reach. What I liked most, though, was the service—especially Anastasia, who served us with great friendliness and professionalism. Every request was met with a smile, and we simply felt welcome. And the food? Simply fantastic! Every dish was delicious and freshly prepared—it couldn't be better. I highly recommend this restaurant—both for a quick stop near the main station and for a leisurely dinner.

Sensational restaurant, friendly, fast, and courteous. I was there on October 11th with three other people, and everyone left the place satisfied and happy. I'm writing because, unfortunately, the 20 people here are making such a fuss. We were practically sitting next to them, and it's a disgrace what they're doing here. Both the service and the restaurant management gave their all, but no matter what they did, it wasn't fast or good enough for them. Shame on you!! Our meal was 10 out of 10, and so was the rest...we'll be back when we're in Berlin. If anyone wants to see how good a restaurant works, please come here. Thank you for everything.

Our family celebration at L'Osteria was fantastic. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere very pleasant. We would especially like to commend Anastasia – she was very attentive, warm, and looked after us perfectly. She fulfilled our every wish with a smile. Thanks to her, the evening was very relaxed. We felt completely at home and would love to come back.

I had reserved a specific table for a seminar group meeting. We got exactly the table we wanted, even though the restaurant was packed. The service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't arrive for an hour, but it was really busy, and luckily we had ordered bruschetta in advance. We had a lot to talk about, so the long wait passed quite quickly. However, not all of the dishes arrived together. The pizzas took a little longer. Everything tasted really good. We understand that there might be a wait when the restaurant is full, so we can definitely recommend the place anyway. Overall, we had a lovely evening.

Four of us ate there today. I'd like to take it step by step... we arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and luckily got a table right away, which was very positive. BUT a large family of 20 with incredibly bad manners and a complete lack of consideration was sitting directly at the next table. Of course, the staff can't do anything about these guests, but when we asked if we could sit at some of the free tables upstairs, we were immediately told no. Our order was taken quite quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. But our appetizer took forever, and the completely overwhelmed waiter was constantly held up by said large family when he wanted to serve other tables. After our order arrived after another eternity... only 3 of the 4 dishes were brought, and the fourth dish arrived after the other three of us had almost finished our food... no apology was offered for the messed-up order, nor was any error acknowledged on their part. Conclusion: This restaurant will not be our choice again if we ever feel like visiting L'Osteria again. Service urgently needs to be reconsidered.

I was here the day before my niece's baptism. I have to say, the waiter was a very, very nice guy who took care of everything and was always there for me. I highly recommend this place. Everyone should come here and go to my akh.

This was our first time here. We hadn't reserved a table, but we managed to get a table for four people. The lasagna was a bit small, but the pasta with the fillet strips was delicious.

We stopped here spontaneously during a stopover on our way to vacation. The food is cooked with love and Italian passion. Our mouths were watering just reading the menu. Our freshly cooked food was served with unusual warmth. The Lambrusco was cool and delicious.

Went there after the Berlin Marathon. It was delicious and the service was very friendly.

An attendant sits at the entrance playing on his phone. Seats are free, but people have to wait. Order-taking is slow and slow. Drink service takes until the meal. Lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese are sold out at 5:00 PM because they're out of Bolognese sauce. So you go to the butcher and buy minced meat and make a new sauce. Not recommended.

The place location is nice, just a note: the orders are not taken after 10pm outside, so you have to sit inside to be considered :-).

Very busy, good food, a bit too noisy (music and voices quite loud)

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, as we weren't even allowed to eat. When we wanted to sit down, we were told there were no more seats available. We then wanted to sit outside and were dismissed with the excuse that it was too cold for the waiters. A real dump.

We came here for dinner today with a group of students. We received a friendly welcome, and our orders were taken promptly. After dinner, it took quite a while for our ordered drinks to arrive. The food was delicious, the portions generous, but "ordinary." Despite everything, it's a great place to dine with a larger group.

We went there spontaneously, and it was delicious. The food came very quickly, and if you sit outside in the summer, it's a lovely view. We had pizza, which was more than plentiful. And delicious👌🏻 The service was very friendly and attentive.

I can't remember ever having such bad pasta in a restaurant. The plate was overflowing with a mass of overcooked pasta swimming in cream. Horrible...

Very tasteful pizza and really huge. You can order one pizza diveded in two pieces with a different taste. Aa as they are huge this is a great idea. Friendly stuff too and good location next to the station.

A very nice and quiet location near the main train station. The ambiance is reminiscent of Italy, and the nearby harbor creates a bit of a holiday feeling. The food is of the usual good and fresh quality. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality.

Ideally located on the banks of the Spree, the welcome is very warm. The typically Italian cuisine is a pleasant surprise. Almost everything has a vegan or vegetarian version. And in... surprising proportions. The pizzas are huge. No exaggeration. The vegan Force pizza is delicious with its chicken ersatz. There are plenty of vegetables and a delicious base. The spaghetti platter is also very generous, much larger than in other Berlin or Parisian restaurants. Delicious too. The tiramisu is at least 1.5 times the usual size. And vegan too. Exquisite, with a real sponge cake, so light and tasty. The service is excellent, very kind and attentive. Truly a nice surprise.

We stopped here for lunch with a local friend here and it was so good, we had 4 cheeses pizza and Prosciutto pizza 🍕 thin crust and tasty. The size of the pizza probably 45cm, it’s for 2 people obviously. The service was good too, just had to wait a little bit cuz peak time for lunch and they were busy. The location is great just less than 10 minutes walk from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

Waiting for about an hour, it's a very long time, the waiter didn't warn me about it. annoying wasps.

Yes, everything was great. Incredibly delicious and, above all, large pizza. Cheap compared to its size. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we had to wait a little longer, but they apologized several times, and the food and atmosphere made up for it. Great restaurant; we'd love to go back next time we're in Berlin.

We've been to many L'Osterie restaurants, but we had the best pizza at your place today. Nevertheless, we were served very well. We'll definitely be back. A promise is a promise; we've just made a reservation for January 26th. Until then, we're looking forward to it. We were here on Sunday, and it was great again. So we came back on Monday. We'll be back in February! Update 08/11/2025 For the umpteenth time, the Amore hearts weren't awarded, so we've corrected it to 1 star! Not much support when we complained. Now back to the hassle with headquarters, which is unnecessary!

The seating is nice, the food is good - only the wasps were a bit annoying.

It took a whole hour for the food to arrive, although it wasn't that crowded. I've never waited that long for my food before. I wanted pasta with spinach from the menu, but what did I end up with on my plate after an hour? Ravioli, even though it wasn't on the menu. In the end, we told the waitress, but she didn't respond. I definitely won't go there again.

We had pizza and tiramisu, both of which were above average, but no need to exaggerate. The location is truly wonderful.

Booked a table. Girls' night for five. We sat outside. The table reservation was valid from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Since the girls were coming between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., we weren't asked to get up at 7 p.m. We (three of us) had a view of the water. Truly beautiful. The service was very friendly, uncomplicated, and quick, and they didn't constantly ask if anyone else wanted anything. The service was very well-rounded. We had five pizzas, huge. They didn't need to be that big. Smaller = better. I'm willing to pay the price for pizzas that were 5 cm smaller. I also think the interior is very stylish. I'll be back soon. Long waiting times on Thursdays

The food was too expensive for no reason, how is it wet and dry at the same time? Also the ingredients used for the dishes make the price inexcusable, drinks are really expensive too and we waited forever for a server to approach, we ordered the carbonara, which was very low quality, and the bo pizza which was a sad piece of wet dough and little pieces of salami and tasteless tomato sauce inside. Would not recommend.

The food was okay overall. The portions were generous, which is a positive. The pizza was okay, but definitely not the best you can get. The lasagna, on the other hand, was very tasty. Unfortunately, the penne arrabbiata wasn't convincing. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid visit – however, I find the prices quite high for the quality offered. I hope this improves in the future.

We sat for over 20 minutes, and several different waitresses walked past us, all of whom skillfully ignored us. If service is suspended in the evening, it would be nice and professional to politely inform the customers instead of acting ignorantly. The staff apparently doesn't care much about the store's profits.

It's very nice and beautiful here, but this was honestly one of the worst Bolognese sauces I've ever eaten. I always liked pizza at L'Osteria, but the Bolognese was a complete disappointment. The sauce was definitely made without red wine, and it wasn't cooked for long enough, it wasn't seasoned, there were too many carrots, ahahaha... please fix it. I'll be back in a couple of months and see if it's still like this ;)

Very friendly service and super delicious food.

The food, especially the pizza, is good there, but the acoustics are really terrible. It's incredibly loud, and if you're sitting at a table with several people, you practically have to shout at each other. There's also music playing. I was glad to get outside.

We booked a table for 12 people at short notice for Sunday because we had a birthday boy or girl among us. 🎉The welcome was very warm; the kids were given colored pencils and a children's menu to color. A great team, everything went smoothly, and our server, Anastasia, was incredible. Even though the restaurant and terrace were packed, she had an eye for all of us! A large vase for the birthday bouquet was immediately brought out, and she placed the surprise cake in the refrigerator. 👍🏼 The giant pizzas were a real highlight! When the cake was brought out afterwards with lit candles and a Happy Birthday song, we and the other guests were very impressed. To top it all off, plates and cake cutlery were placed on the table as a matter of course, and we were even allowed to enjoy the cake in the restaurant. We would like to sincerely thank the team leader, the fantastic team, and especially Anastasia for the lovely afternoon! Unfortunately there are only 5 stars to award👍🏼otherwise there would definitely be more from us🙏🏼

Huge pizza, bigger plate, but it was cold

Unfortunately, quantity is still often confused with quality... Why do you have to make pizzas that are too big to eat, and then they hang over the edge of the plate and lie on the table? My Gorgonzola pasta was only lukewarm and very lightly seasoned. Since the prices are quite high, the price-performance ratio isn't really good. Unfortunately, the service colleague rarely came by, which wasn't really convincing either. The location by the water is beautiful, and you can also sit outside and relax.

Greetings to this evening's waitress. Outside, there's a sign saying you're being seated. After a while, the waitress who was standing outside decided to look up from her phone and began serving guests sitting at a few tables. We were ignored several times. When we approached and asked if a table was available (some, but not all, free tables were marked as reserved), she smiled friendly. A yes or no was apparently too complicated. After several attempts to leave money here, we decided to go to the competitor next door. A star in the service category would mean there was such a thing as service. We, along with other guests who were also ignored, didn't notice any of that that evening.

The food terrible they just had pizza, the waiter was veeeery rude and the pizza was bigger than the plate so half was on the table!!!!! Very very disappointed

You get a different feeling looking at the Berlin Central Station. BBQ Chicken Pizza... It's huge... Bigger than the plate. Wow... People are staring... It's perfect for two people... If you can't eat it, should I wrap it for you? I asked... I thought it was just mine... But one of the people at the table in front of me also got a large pizza.

This restaurant is located right on the water. Near the main train station. The lounge area where we sat was really pleasant in the sunny temperatures. The food, as in all restaurants in the chain, is plentiful and tastes good. A really high standard. The food came quickly and the service was very friendly. The staff is really disgusting, i am doing wolt delivery with car and wolt provided small bag to car driver in comparison with the bike riders. Although i have car and i can bring the food more safely the staff refuse to handover the order because there pizza has big size which doesn’t fit in my bag. This is hilarious reason, atleast you have to cooperate we are also doing our job or if you doesn’t like the riders in your place then remove the delivery from your venue.

The service was very friendly and attentive. A QR code was displayed at the table so you could order and pay quickly and easily. Absolutely fantastic. The food was good, the pizza was huge, but I've had better pizza. The only negative was that the pizza tasted a bit bland. A bit more seasoning would have been good.

The food was delicious, and the view of Berlin Central Station was quite nice. We did have to wait a bit for the lasagna, though.

We've been to Losteria many times. The food is good value for money. Our drink order was taken quickly, but it took quite a while for us to order our food. The food generally took quite a while, even though it wasn't very busy.
