I'm sorry to have to comment on a restaurant in such a negative way just because of a person who works there and who did not operate correctly. I am sure that the management did not give the provisions that you adopted but unfortunately the service was terrible and if there is no control mechanism by the management what the front line staff does is what the company does. 1) upon arrival the lady told me to settle for a table that was next to a concrete column and which honestly made me feel sad. I asked her if I could instead sit at another table which was closer to the river, but she left saying something I didn't understand. I sat where he told me to. When she returned with the menu I asked her again if she could make me move and she replied: certainly! As if I hadn't asked her anything before. There was water on the other table because it had rained shortly before. I thought she would remove it but since she didn't I asked her if she could please do so. He told me he didn't have time and that's why he had shown me the other table. I must point out that she didn't remove the water from the table even when she returned to bring the dishes. So I had dinner on a table that had some rain water on it. What can I say, there is a lot of easy culture in Berlin, I didn't make too many speeches. 2) I ordered a plate of Spaghetti carbonara as it is usually a dish that should not contain garlic or onion which I am allergic to. However, since I have now learned to be very cautious, I politely asked the waitress to report the problem to the kitchen, which I always do as it is an allergy that over time has become increasingly debilitating and with serious effects. He didn't tell me he would do it and stated very confidently that they are definitely not ingredients expected in that dish. I insisted a bit, asking them to advise against involuntary contamination, but the answer was the same and very stupidly on my part, since I should have left to avoid exposing myself to risks, I accepted the answer. Punctually, unfortunately, during the night, evidently due to contamination, I suffered the consequences. I'm sure of it as it's the only thing I've eaten and I recognize the symptoms perfectly. Luckily it wasn't anything hospital-related but I still felt bad. Due to this very annoying behavior of the waitress, both for the question of the table and for the answer regarding the allergy, I also left without leaving any tip, but now, with the night behind me I would also be entitled to be compensated. I didn't write a review at the time because I still wanted to avoid being completely influenced by the behavior of the staff. However, I am not asking for anything at all, among other things the place would also be very nice, but I will certainly never set foot there again and I strongly advise against it due to the rudeness of this waitress and the irresponsibility with allergies. Usually in Berlin I sleep at the ibis in front of the central station and there are only 4 restaurants in the area. For me now only three. I want to point out, if anyone from the restaurant reads, that allergies are a serious thing for those who suffer from them and that such behavior is unacceptable.

We reserved a table and were delayed due to a train cancellation. After a short call to the branch, we were bluntly told that if we weren't there in 10 minutes, they would give the table to someone else.

Wir waren zu viert und hier hat alles gestimmt. Der persönliche und aufmerksame Service von Anastasia war wirklich spitze. Alles kam zu richtigen Zeit, weder zu spät noch zu früh. Danke!

The restaurant is located right on the water and therefore offers a nice view. Our waitress was very friendly and polite and although the food took a little longer to arrive, it was very tasty. I would come back the next time I visit Berlin!

20 minutes of waiting without any waiter to serve us

Unfortunately we had dinner at your place yesterday...the food was subpar, not to mention the disrespectful staff! The waitress slams her wallet on the table without any “hello/welcome” and demands orders from the entire table (of 10 people) in a very loud and open restaurant. After 70 minutes of waiting we found ourselves somewhere between half raw pasta, far too thin pizza dough and a very bad carbonara. A disappointment for the money

Sitting here by the water, eating delicious food and having really nice service - that's how to endure it! Highly recommended!!

The pasta had no taste and the pizza base was sometimes stone hard or soggy. We also waited a long time (20 minutes until we ordered, more than an hour until the food came. The service wasn't good either. But the salad was good.

Where should I start: We had to ask several times for additional cutlery, which came AFTER the meal after frequent requests, not to mention the food: they were out of mozzarella, in a pizzeria mind you, the food was very bland, salt and pepper At least they were at the table, but apparently they weren't used in the food preparation. When we looked into the open kitchen with dirty windows, we could see a waitress without gloves taking salami from a pizza that was already ready for delivery and then handing it out. The finished lettuce was also taken out of the packaging and placed on the plate without being washed. If something like this happens, why have an open kitchen? It was also difficult to communicate because the music was way too loud. Even if it sounds like that, it wasn't a complete failure, but we left the pizzeria dissatisfied, also because we went to this pizzeria with high expectations based on previous good experiences.

The place is really cool and has good views. But the service was not good, we waited 30 min for the pizza to arrive and it was cold already. Best to avoid during lunch times.

Schönes Sitzen in der Abendsonne bei guten Getränken und Essen. Service war freundlich, wenn auch in der Stoßzeit längere Wartezeiten gegeben waren. Teilweise kamen Gerichte nur auf mehrfache Nachfrage.

Pizza was really tasty, service could be improved a lot. At first no one came, then things got a little better. What we didn't like at all: My wife only drinks hot water (yes, I don't understand that either), but we found the fact that we paid a total of 8 euros for two cups of hot water a bit harsh.

First impression of the restaurant was quite good. But the waiting times were the deal-breaker. These were absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant near the main train station and for the amount of staff present. When our pizza finally arrived after about 45 minutes, the plate was warmer than the pizza itself. The beer we had ordered when the pizza arrived was not served. The bill was only brought when we threatened to leave without paying because our connecting train was leaving. For this reason, I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially for connecting travelers.

The food is very good here. Classic L’Osteria. I was here twice this week. The service is just so poor - servers that don’t seem they want to be there or take your order. We waited 20 minutes for 2 espressos when the restaurant was empty. It’s just poor. Food was nice, atmosphere fine and the restaurant is in a nice location.

A great welcome from Anastasia. Even though it was very busy, we were offered a small table with a view of the Spree. The salad with goat cheese is highly recommended.

A restaurant with a beautiful location by the water and nice seating outside. Unfortunately, the food sometimes takes over an hour after ordering and then comes cold or the wrong thing. The staff still remains friendly and helpful. It's a shame that the kitchen doesn't seem to be working.

Very excellent food. The quality was on point and the price were perfect for what we ordered. The pizzas was so incredible big (and tasty), but we could also get a pizza and pasta in children-friendly sizes.

One of my favorite places in Berlin. Out of all the restaurants of this chain, this one is the best in my opinion.

We reserved a table for 8 today and even though we were a wild bunch, everything was fine. The food was very tasty, the service was quick and attentive and the location is beautifully located. The pizzas are huge (the tables are almost too small for that with several pizza eaters), but everything is super fresh and if you want to share a pizza, it comes on two plates - very pleasant. We were satisfied, would like to come back and the restaurant is definitely worth recommending.

My review is merely based on the fact that although the closing time is 11pm; at 10.05pm we were told that the kitchen was already closed.

I've ordered the lasagne and the spaghetti ice-cream. Wasn't so special and even I would say, that the flavour and texture was under the average. The ice-cream was delicious, but that's it. Expensive and nothing special. Thanks to the beautiful view of the ships, bridge and because how the waitress was so kind, smiled and try her best I think it's worth to come there and admire the view sitting in front of the river- it is really relaxing.

After we had waited 60 minutes, our pizza can be delivered...The service is too young & bad...it was catastrophic for our children...no stuff or bread included...that's why I gave 8% more money...so that poor quality is motivated! ! And at some point it will come to an end...

L'Osteria is of good quality, as usual. So if you want to eat Italian food at a good price-performance ratio, you are always well served here. I would particularly like to highlight the service. Our waitress (I think her name was Agnieszka) was very friendly and tried to ensure the best possible stay. Since a storm caused widespread train cancellations, I asked them to bring us the food as quickly as possible, as I had to leave the restaurant half an hour earlier than originally expected. In short, that's exactly what worked brilliantly. The food came very quickly, we were able to eat in peace and I caught my replacement train. For me, they dealt with my concerns very confidently, which is why I was very impressed with the service. I can therefore highly recommend a visit both in terms of the food and the service!

Delicious pizza for really hungry people

Unfortunately, this time I didn't have such a good experience. Pizza Caprese was no longer available at 6 p.m. because there was no mozzarella left. My mother's penne came much after my pizza. Were forgotten somewhere and were therefore almost cold. The background noise was extremely loud. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the toilets also left something to be desired. It's a shame, a not so nice end to a trip to Berlin.

Yesterday we went to Losteria to try Vanessa Mai's PRIMAVERA pizza. We waited 20 minutes, which was completely ok. The pizza was very very tasty. The staff was very nice and friendly. Upon request, I was even allowed to take Vanessa Mai's sign with her pizza on it. Thanks for that. We'd love to come back
