Marina Blu in Berlin

We ate at Marina Blu the first day we arrived in Berlin. It was close to our hotel and the reviews were very positive. We were not disappointed. The service is very attentive and the food excellent.

First of all, the food is great, whether pasta, pizza or appetizers, everything tasted great, but unfortunately the service wasn't that great. You wait a disproportionately long time until you can order drinks, and desserts weren't even asked. If you reserve a table and want to have a nice evening, I don't mean sitting in the awning with a jacket on and freezing. It's definitely nice in the summer, but not in the fall.

I had dinner at Marina's with a lovely woman and it was magical. We had the spagetti con gamberi and a Regina Margherita pizza. Food was on time and the waiters were very attentive. I had a relaxed and professional impression.

The burger was amazing and the pizza too! Really nice staff:)

What a horrible service. Such a long waiting time to get order. delay in delivering the order, wrong meal (I prefred not even mention that, as we've been already 2hrs in the restaurant to have our food after a long flight to Berlin, just wanted to go to my hotle and rest). The quality was good, though.

Didn't eat here, but I needed to use the toilet. The staff was nice, I was ready to offer an euro or half of that, but they said it was fine. It was fascinating trying to find the hidden toilets. There's a fountain sink to wash your hands, past that on the wooden walls are the toilets. Just push. I think there are 3 separate stalls, and on the ceiling of the one I chose to visit, it had mahjong pieces on the ceiling. Neat! Because of their friendliness, I will try to visit them in the future when I'm craving pizza. Thanks again for letting me use the wc!

Best pizza in Berlin, Italy approved Always come back

We sat on the terrace on a warm summer evening and were wonderfully pampered. We were immediately impressed by the daily menu, the service was super friendly and quick and everything was perfect.

Delicious food, not a big selection, but still something for everyone. Vegan...just leave out the cheese. Really very nice service, quick service and the price was probably ok for Berlin standards. The toilet was a highlight 🤣

I love these places where the server asks what you need once, then doesn’t bother you every few minutes. This place is like that! The servers are polite but not pushy. They don’t try to upsell you on anything. What you want, they will order and if you don’t want anything more, no problem. They will treat you kindly, either way. I was not very hungry, but I was tired and needed a place to sit down & watch the Olympic Games. I sat here with my wife, got 1 soda and 1 pizza to share and that’s it. The servers didn’t give me any weird looks or treat me rudely. Instead they treated me like all other paying guests and was left alone to enjoy watching the game on my phone. I loved it! Fantastic attitude and the pizza was super tasty. I will come back here with friends for a proper dinner.

We had two pizzas and an arancino with eggplant and scamorza. In terms of taste, the Arancino was in the same league as the local ones in southern Italy. The same applied to the pizza. Plus delicious Messina beer and fantastic service - we'll definitely be back!!!

The food is tasty and plentiful. However, the prices are rather expensive. Waiter is a bit pushy.

Bad pasta, overcooked and not nearly al dente. In addition, very poor service, in this respect one of the worst restaurant experiences in Berlin. Staff totally arrogant. There are much better options in the area.

The food, TOP! The staff, TOP! The food was absolutely delicious and sufficient. The bread 🍞 was really good, we were all thrilled, I jokingly told the waiter that we would like to have it for home and he said it wouldn't be a problem. We were really happy, because said and done... we will definitely come back 😀

I really enjoy being at Marina Blu, especially in summer. The gnocchi with truffle and goat cheese filling are my favorite truffle pasta in Berlin!

Authentic Italian food, the price is not cheap but fair. I tried both the pasta and octopus sandwich and they were both very good. Perfect places for big groups as well. The only problem is maybe that is often very crowded and it becomes chaotic

Pizza’s were not fully done and the beer was not cold enough. Score: 6 at best. It felt really rushed and not spent enough time on the details. Location is great!

5* for everything! The food was very tasty and the employee who served us was very friendly. We are from Spain and live in Berlin and were in the mood for calamari and great decision, they were delicious. The toilets are very "wow"! We will come back in any case.

Their behavior was exceptionally rude. When I requested for some extra truffle, they responded by shouting, asking, "10 euro? 20 euro? How much you wanna pay for extra truffle?’ The food was mediocre; we ordered gnocchi and another dish, both of which were 5 /10.

Delicious food, great spot, when it gets busy though it’s hard to catch the waiters attention. I’d suggest they get an extra person in service so no one gets stressed. Had a lot of food and everything was really good quality stuff.

Friendly and quick service. The antipasti were great, but the pizza wasn't - the dough wasn't crispy. The ambience suffers a bit because they try to accommodate as many people as possible in a relatively small space.

Best AUTHENTIC Italian food in Berlin, with friendly service and nice atmosphere to top it off. The pasta is made to order (none of that pre cooked garbage you get in other restaurants), the pizza dough is light and flavourful, and the arancini are homemade. This is also one of the only restaurants that I trust preparing seafood. I highly recommend it!!!

Teilgeschlossene Gesellschaft. Super Service, kreative Einrichtung (Toilette extrem cool gestaltet. Vorspeise war zum Umfallen gut (Antipasti), die Pizza war lecker aber nicht knusprig.

We came to have desert around 9, which was near closing time and asked if there were tables inside for 2 people, of which we saw there were 4 visibly available. To have a passive aggressive dismissive retort back from the waiter ‘this is not a cafe’ He then eventually went to look to see if there were any available (which there wear), and then placed in a space that was by the hall way, by the cold door/ draft The place appear to be pretentious, and only welcoming unless you fit their idea of welcomed Have gone there several times in the last year Would not recommend, and this last experience was hyper toned pretentiousness. The dessert was dry and service across was lacking hospitality Will not come back

The waiter blamed us for getting our order wrong, when we ordered 4 meals and only got 2. Bad customer service blaming the customer for messing up the orders.

Tried pizza during the pizza week. I’ve traveled from all another side of Berlin. Interesting fact, on that evening no female waiters in the place :). Tasty pizza. Great service.

Die Pizza ist wirklich sehr lecker (wir haben 3 verschiedene Pizzen bestellt) und das Tiramisu con Crema di Pistacchio ist einfach ein Traum. Nette Bedienung. Keine langen Wartezeiten.Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Das WC ist witzig versteckt ;-) Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Ich war mit meinem Mann und unseren Freunden dort und allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wiederholungfaktor!

We visit this place every few months for a lovely dinner But whenever we go there, we make sure to share the parmigiana first. It's really tasty! I totally recommend the gnocchi with goat cheese ( Gnocchi Faciti Con Caprino E Tartufo ) and the spaghetti with shrimp and pistachios

What got us there was the nice Ambiente that you can kind of guess when walking by. It got a little chilly in the evening (writing that post early September), but overall a nice location. However, the waiters made us wait long. It seems like 2 waiters for a full restaurant isn’t enough. The size of the meals are appropriate (pizza and burger) up to a little too small (cannelloni). You better get an appetizer upfront. The taste of the food is okay, but nothing great or surprising. I truly expected a little more. Overall, I rate it 3 stars as this is a place you can for sure go to, but it doesn’t stick to your mind afterwards.

Spontan einen Tisch für Freitag Abend reserviert, wunderschöne Lage. Man hat sich sofort wohl und vor allem wie im Italien Urlaub gefühlt. Extrem nette Mitarbeiter, leckere Neapolitanische Pizza 😍 Man sollte unbedingt Platz für ein Dessert lassen da das Pistazien Tiramisu ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus ist Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Abend

I wen to this restaurant many times and was satisfied with the food each time BUT the last time I went the food was terrible!! Calamari was half a portion, dry and cold. The pasta had almost no taste and was also cold, the ravioli tasted as if it was cooked 2 days ago. Big deception I will not be back again. The service was very good tho.

Wir waren dort nur etwas trinken. Aperol und Campari Spirtz. Diese waren auch sehr gut. Das Personal super nett und das Ambiente war toll. Wie waren vorher wo anders etwas essen… leider. Aber wir werden zum Essen nochmal wieder kommen! 😁

Food and drinks are good—not great, but good. Staff is super nice. But the atmosphere? They play terrible pop house music. Even on a Sunday afternoon. Really ruins it for me.

Unfreundlicher Service! Wir waren dort für einen Aperitif. Über die Qualität des Essens kann ich nichts sagen. Die unfreundliche und patzige Art der Bedienung sorgt aber dafür, dass in Zukunft ein großer Bogen um dieses Lokal gemacht wird! Schade ☹️

De pasta met gele cherrytomaatjes, gamba’s en straciatella was de allerlekkerste pasta die ik ooit heb gegeten. Verder waren er lekkere goedkope Aperol Spritz en kom ik graag nog eens langs voor de pasta!

Booked a table for 11 persons outside last week in person but it didn’t come through… Of course it’s quite hard to then find another place so they were kind enough to host us inside. But inside the service was bad - took ages to order drinks and when we did the waitress felt so stressy that it was not a comfortable atmosphere. Plus we had to pay €1,50 for 0.5 liter “cold” tap water (!) even though it was 27 degrees outside today. The food was good, but you can definitely find better with good service in other restaurants in Berlin so I won’t be coming back there nor recommending it to others.

Leckeres italienisches Restaurant, ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und kann von Pizza über Pasta bis hin zu den Vorspeisen alles empfehlen. Auf der Terrasse fühlt man sich ein bißchen wie im Urlaub. Top Service!

Die Terrasse ist einfach super. Das Carpaccio vom Oktopus war lecker. Als Hauptgericht würde ich nächstes Mal die Pizza versuchen, die echt toll aussah. Mit meinem frittierten "Pesce misti" (dt. Auswahl an Fisch, aber in Wirklichkeit Meeresfrüchte) war ich nicht ganz glücklich. Habe der Bedienung gesagt, dass ich eigentlich etwas anderes unter dem Gericht verstanden hätte, da war man dann aber sehr unfreundlich. Für die Atmosphäre und Lage kann man sicher hin. Vielleicht schmeckt ja auch die Pizza so gut wie sie aussieht. Ansonsten für mich nichts, was einen umhaut. Lange Wartezeit.

Sehr gutes italienisches Essen, super-nettes Service in Top-Lage am Weinbergsweg, Promi-Hideaway, wir waren begeistert, auch unser Hund hat die Aussicht genossen, gerne wieder! Die Pizza war leider aus, da es an diesem Tag zu viele Bestellungen gab - sicher ein gutes Zeichen;-)

Didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday Night, the staff managed to get us a table. Overall was pretty happy to get a place to sit! Ordered a Premium Gin off the menu, very nice gin tonic. We ordered the Gnocchi and meatballs, so delicious! I highly recommend. Got a margarita pizza as well just to try! This was good but I’ve had better. But then again those other restaurants just serve pizza. Definitely recommend eating here! Drinks: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Staff: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 And most importantly Card Payment is accepted, so Bonus points there. Can pay via the Luca App which is interesting, to me.

Einer der besten Italiener in Berlin, authentisch süditalienische Küche, verdammt lecker und ein unglaublich herzliches nettes Personal! Immer wieder sehr gerne da.

Authentic Italian taste at reasonable price

Assolutamente da consigliare! Location stupenda (Sophia Loren ... un simbolo su una parete del locale )! Siamo a Mitte ( zona di Berlino che adoro) ! Io ho avuto il piacere di gustare una pizza chiamata Regina Margherita con mozzarella di bufala Doc (ho origini meridionali e la mozzarella la conosco bene). Talmente buona la pasta che si riuscirebbe a mangerne due in un colpo (impasto Doc ). Anche sul bere niente da dire super ! Team cordiale ed educato, ti accolgono col sorriso :) Musica quella italiana wow. Anche sul dolce piacevole sorpresa . Ottimo servizio e super qualità. Consigliatissimo a chi vuole mangiare il vero cibo italiano da italiani di successo a Berlino. Finalmente una vera Pizza !!!! Grazie di tutto !!

Excellent stuffed gnocchi - 10/10 would recommend. Pizza was also super. Good selection on the menu. Staff were friendly. Really nice outdoor terrace.

Die Terrasse ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und erinnert an ein Lokal am Mittelmeer. Schönes gemütliche Atmosphäre. Auch ein sehr junges und aufmerksames Serviceteam. Grosse Pastaportionen die sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Das Pistazientiramisu war eine geschmackliche Pistazienexplosien.

We liked the wintergarten with heating lights which made the ambience warm and cozy. The pizza were overall good however my friend seemed not to enjoy the gnocchi with goat cheese much as it had extremely strong smell of truffel. The aperol with ginger twist was great as well. The lady attending us was very hospitable .

Ich hatte den Tintenfisch Salat von der Tageskarte als Vorspeise und die Cannelloni mit Spinat und Ricotta als Hauptgang. Beide Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet und geschmackvoll abgeschmeckt. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder her kommen und kann das Marina Blu uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ein modernes italienisches Restaurant am Weinbergpark mit einem mediterranen, maritimen Flair und jungen, hippen Bedienungen. Unsere Pizza war gut, allerdings waren einige Blasen am Rand sehr schwarz, sodass es ab und an verbrannt schmeckte. Der individuell zusammengestellte Salat war frisch und lecker. Die Bedienung war freundlich, die Wartezeit jedoch zu lang für ein fast leeres Lokal am späten Nachmittag. Wenig praktisch sind zudem die QR-Speisekarten. Ein Highlight der Einrichtung ist zweifellos das WC mit dem Brunnen als Waschbecken in der Mitte. Die Preise sind für die Lage und die Aufmachung des Restaurants okay. (04/2023)

Pizzeria Italiana, titolare italiana e pizza ovviamente buona . Il locale è carino e personale educato. Forse una lista di pizze un po' limitato anche se volendo si possono fare su richiesta con gli ingredienti che si vuole. Bevande niente di speciale

I look forward to the Italian pasta week every year to take this chance and try some new promising restaurants. Marina blu was offering 2 varieties, paccheri with calamari, cherry tomatoes, capers and a sprinkle of bread crumbles and gnocchi cacio & pepe with guanciale in a pumpkin cream sauce. You get a glass of red or white wine with the pasta as a part of the pasta week offer. The gnocchi was very creamy and had a very special taste, especially with the authentic guanciale. The paccheri calamari tasted good, but I have tasted better. I wanted to try the Arancini but the restaurant ran out of stock which ruined my mood a little because I was looking forward to it. I also ordered mixed fried seafood as an appetizer, which tasted very good. All the dishes have very high quality ingredients, but the quantities are generally low and it is kind of overpriced. The ambiance of the restaurant is unbeatable, very romantic. The service is one of the best I have experienced in Berlin so far. Our server was very kind and funny, hence the picture!
