Marina Blu in Berlin

Avoid this place at all costs. We were treated extremely rudely and harshly for no reason. Since no staff welcomed us, we sat at an empty table. Then a bartender arrogantly called us over and started insulting us out of nowhere. We were absolutely shocked and left the place immediately. I’ve never encountered such aggressive and disturbing behavior in any establishment before. On top of that, I strongly felt there was a discriminatory attitude in the way we were treated. Think twice before sitting down here – you might regret it.

One of my favourite italian restaurants in berlin! I love the goat cheese truffle pasta and sarti spritz. I come often to this unknown place. Perfect day! One of the only places with a sunny terrace in this street

Hi, we got an outside table for 5 people that same day. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the restaurant is in a location where you never get bored. The restroom is an event when you walk in ;) I highly recommend it!

The beach is very well maintained and large. Clear water. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is simply top-notch.

Very delicious food! The burger was really juicy and flavorful – cooked to perfection! The spaghetti vongole was also fantastic: fresh mussels, aromatic oil, and perfect pasta. We were completely satisfied – highly recommended! 🍝🍔👌

The food was excellent. They offer a wide variety of Italian dishes, from pizza to pasta, along with other specialties. The outdoor seating area is also lovely, especially during summer sunsets. It’s still sunny in the evenings. Unfortunately, we noticed that the main host was a quite rude to several other guests, which slightly took away from the overall experience.

Great restaurant in the "government district." I've been there several times for business. The food, drinks, and service have been excellent every time.

Anyone looking for good Italian cuisine with first courses and second courses, as well as excellent pizza, with warm and cheerful service, has come to the right place. The open kitchen, pleasant ambiance, and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating are complemented by impeccably designed restrooms. An experience for all the senses without being intrusive. Highly recommended!

We were at the restaurant for dinner and had been sitting on the terrace for over an hour and a half in pleasant weather. The food was really good, and the service was initially friendly – ​​it was actually a successful evening. Unfortunately, the mood suddenly changed when we smoked a cigarette. Although we had already eaten and there was no sign of a smoking ban on the terrace, the waiter and, shortly thereafter, the manager addressed us in an extremely aggressive and unfriendly tone. It was impossible to have a factual conversation – they became loud, intimidating, and disrespectful. Even after we indicated that there was no apparent ban and asked for this to be clarified objectively, friendly, and constructively, the tone remained inappropriate. The manager showed no insight or understanding, let alone the willingness to engage in a respectful exchange. It's a shame – the food was good, but such rude treatment of paying guests is unacceptable. A simple, friendly conversation would have been perfectly sufficient. Unfortunately, the overall impression remains very negative. For us: once and never again.

Slow service, rude and aggressive staff, and terrible management. Zero respect for customer's. Avoid at all costs.

As always, a delight. The paccheri with squid was delicious, as was my companion's burrata. Plus, a good wine recommendation and attentive service. What more could you want? Besides finding the door to the restroom 😉

Everything is actually good in this restaurant. Food good. Service good. Ambience good/nice. But it's not very good (according to my taste). Nevertheless, it was another nice evening and we will visit this restaurant again on our next stay in Berlin.

Excellent service, waiters very attentive to guests' needs (especially Riccardo🙂‍↔️) really good food, pay attention to the foods we ate fried fish (really fresh and tasty fish) and ravioli filled with sea bream on saffron cream 😋

Hello, very centrally located on Kastanienallee, the price level is accordingly, whether a pizza has to cost 15 euros remains to be seen. Nevertheless, all the best to the company, customers will probably appear here more or less automatically, but I don't intend to be one of them.

Wouldn't go there again, didn't like the pizza, since the cheese had an extremely strong flavour, the noodles' portion was very small and prices were high. Service and interior not overwhelmingly good.

The staff are brilliant. Food first class in a lovely set out restaurant. Manager took us in, out of the freezing cold 30 minutes before they opened and the staff including kitchen really looked after us... went back a second night and just as good 👍

Went to this fabulous restaurant twice during our stay in Berlin. The first time the restaurant hadn't opened, but the brilliant staff were so kind, they welcomed us in out of the cold and we had a drink while waiting for the kitchen to open. The food, service, and atmosphere in Marina Blu are all first class. The manager and the whole team were just brilliant and so warm and friendly. A special shout out to Ricardo, an outstanding waiter. The second time we visited, Ricardo remembered what we drank and our meal preferences from our first visit. Excellent service from start to finish, Marina Blu are lucky to have you on the team! Thanks for making our stay in Berlin even more special.

After so much junk food, we wanted to feel a bit at home and for us Italians (from Puglia) it's not that easy. But when we tasted Marina Blu's pizza and space tiramisu, we changed our minds! The pizza was excellent, cooked just right and very light. The tiramisu was exceptional! I highly recommend this place⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A good Italian spot with great service and an interesting interior. The pizzas were tasty, though not the absolute best, but you’ll find a wide variety of Italian dishes to enjoy. Overall, a solid choice for Italian cuisine.

I had dinner at Marina's with a lovely woman and it was magical. We had the spagetti con gamberi and a Regina Margherita pizza. Food was on time and the waiters were very attentive. I had a relaxed and professional impression.

First of all, the food is great, whether pasta, pizza or appetizers, everything tasted great, but unfortunately the service wasn't that great. You wait a disproportionately long time until you can order drinks, and desserts weren't even asked. If you reserve a table and want to have a nice evening, I don't mean sitting in the awning with a jacket on and freezing. It's definitely nice in the summer, but not in the fall.

What a horrible service. Such a long waiting time to get order. delay in delivering the order, wrong meal (I prefred not even mention that, as we've been already 2hrs in the restaurant to have our food after a long flight to Berlin, just wanted to go to my hotle and rest). The quality was good, though.

Didn't eat here, but I needed to use the toilet. The staff was nice, I was ready to offer an euro or half of that, but they said it was fine. It was fascinating trying to find the hidden toilets. There's a fountain sink to wash your hands, past that on the wooden walls are the toilets. Just push. I think there are 3 separate stalls, and on the ceiling of the one I chose to visit, it had mahjong pieces on the ceiling. Neat! Because of their friendliness, I will try to visit them in the future when I'm craving pizza. Thanks again for letting me use the wc!

Best pizza in Berlin, Italy approved Always come back

We sat on the terrace on a warm summer evening and were wonderfully pampered. We were immediately impressed by the daily menu, the service was super friendly and quick and everything was perfect.

Delicious food, not a big selection, but still something for everyone. Vegan...just leave out the cheese. Really very nice service, quick service and the price was probably ok for Berlin standards. The toilet was a highlight 🤣

I love these places where the server asks what you need once, then doesn’t bother you every few minutes. This place is like that! The servers are polite but not pushy. They don’t try to upsell you on anything. What you want, they will order and if you don’t want anything more, no problem. They will treat you kindly, either way. I was not very hungry, but I was tired and needed a place to sit down & watch the Olympic Games. I sat here with my wife, got 1 soda and 1 pizza to share and that’s it. The servers didn’t give me any weird looks or treat me rudely. Instead they treated me like all other paying guests and was left alone to enjoy watching the game on my phone. I loved it! Fantastic attitude and the pizza was super tasty. I will come back here with friends for a proper dinner.

We had two pizzas and an arancino with eggplant and scamorza. In terms of taste, the Arancino was in the same league as the local ones in southern Italy. The same applied to the pizza. Plus delicious Messina beer and fantastic service - we'll definitely be back!!!

Authentic Italian food, the price is not cheap but fair. I tried both the pasta and octopus sandwich and they were both very good. Perfect places for big groups as well. The only problem is maybe that is often very crowded and it becomes chaotic

Pizza’s were not fully done and the beer was not cold enough. Score: 6 at best. It felt really rushed and not spent enough time on the details. Location is great!

Their behavior was exceptionally rude. When I requested for some extra truffle, they responded by shouting, asking, "10 euro? 20 euro? How much you wanna pay for extra truffle?’ The food was mediocre; we ordered gnocchi and another dish, both of which were 5 /10.

Friendly and quick service. The antipasti were great, but the pizza wasn't - the dough wasn't crispy. The ambience suffers a bit because they try to accommodate as many people as possible in a relatively small space.

Best AUTHENTIC Italian food in Berlin, with friendly service and nice atmosphere to top it off. The pasta is made to order (none of that pre cooked garbage you get in other restaurants), the pizza dough is light and flavourful, and the arancini are homemade. This is also one of the only restaurants that I trust preparing seafood. I highly recommend it!!!

Teilgeschlossene Gesellschaft. Super Service, kreative Einrichtung (Toilette extrem cool gestaltet. Vorspeise war zum Umfallen gut (Antipasti), die Pizza war lecker aber nicht knusprig.

The waiter blamed us for getting our order wrong, when we ordered 4 meals and only got 2. Bad customer service blaming the customer for messing up the orders.

We came to have desert around 9, which was near closing time and asked if there were tables inside for 2 people, of which we saw there were 4 visibly available. To have a passive aggressive dismissive retort back from the waiter ‘this is not a cafe’ He then eventually went to look to see if there were any available (which there wear), and then placed in a space that was by the hall way, by the cold door/ draft The place appear to be pretentious, and only welcoming unless you fit their idea of welcomed Have gone there several times in the last year Would not recommend, and this last experience was hyper toned pretentiousness. The dessert was dry and service across was lacking hospitality Will not come back

Tried pizza during the pizza week. I’ve traveled from all another side of Berlin. Interesting fact, on that evening no female waiters in the place :). Tasty pizza. Great service.

Die Pizza ist wirklich sehr lecker (wir haben 3 verschiedene Pizzen bestellt) und das Tiramisu con Crema di Pistacchio ist einfach ein Traum. Nette Bedienung. Keine langen Wartezeiten.Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Das WC ist witzig versteckt ;-) Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Ich war mit meinem Mann und unseren Freunden dort und allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wiederholungfaktor!
