Saporito in Berlin

Speechless!!! The music was the icing on the cake. We felt like we weren't even in Berlin. The food is really very good, and the waiters are great. The ambiance might not appeal to everyone, but we think it's perfect.

This was my second time here! What a fantastic Italian restaurant! So much attention to detail and simply top-notch quality in both the food and drinks ❤️ It was so delicious and reaffirmed my first visit. I celebrated my birthday with ten people at Saporito and can absolutely recommend it. I especially want to highlight the fantastic service! The waitress who served us went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful evening, and it was simply perfect: she was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. We felt very comfortable and had a fantastic time! The food and drinks were also delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Highly recommended!

One of the best Italian restaurants! Fresh home made pasta and afterwards a delicious limoncello from the house! And above all, the staff was so kind!

It's the best thing I've ever eaten. Homemade pasta. It was my first time eating spaghetti with seafood. I highly recommend it. It's definitely on my list of places I'll definitely go back to.

Incredibly good! I'd only ever known Italian cuisine from Italy before. I found it somewhat basic and unspectacular – but after visiting you a few times, I've come to love the light freshness of your dishes, especially in the summer. You know how to cook amazingly delicious dishes with just a few good ingredients. Thank you so much – I'll be back!

A much better experience than expected. Very good, and above all exceptional, selection of Italian dishes. Sure, some classics too, but a lot that you can't necessarily find in every average Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is special, but in a positive sense. Here you will find a good balance of character and authenticity. Very happy again!

Highly recommended, authentic, 3-course menu for €45 per guest from 2 pax. Delicious varied starter platter, main course as a pasta variation with 3 different noodle components, dessert variation with 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream, panna cotta, tiramisu. Very attentive and friendly waiters. Head waiter is the heart of the house. We felt very well looked after.

⭐☆☆☆☆ | Disappointing Experience This place is a nightmare for those who are childfree or unable to have children—baby clothes are literally hanging from the ceiling as decor. The furniture is extremely old, our table was wobbly and visibly dirty from years of use. There are no coat racks, hooks, or a wardrobe, so everyone’s outerwear just piles up on their own chairs, making it very uncomfortable. The wine by the glass is basically “Château de Tetra Pak,” poured from a beer tap rather than a bottle. Meanwhile, water is somehow more expensive than this so-called wine. We waited ages for our food, only to receive a very basic pasta dish that was nowhere near worth the price. Speaking of prices—the menu is a mess. It’s confusing, the font is barely readable, and prices are written in euro cents, which makes everything even more irritating. Wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely not worth the visit.

A really cute Italian restaurant with delicious food and super friendly service 😄 The menu is short and changes weekly. I paid around €40 for a salad, tagliatelle with lemon sauce and tuna tartare and a super creamy panna cotta plus 2 beers. The atmosphere is really special here, baby onesies hang from the ceiling and you feel like you're in Italy 🌞

Cute, kitschy atmosphere. Beyond the looks, the food was just OK and a bit overpriced. My partner's Tagliolini was overdone and soggy. I enjoyed the Pappardelle (lots of meat!). There was an unannounced 3 EUR credit card surcharge. Water (6.50€) is more expensive than wine. 71 EUR (plus tip) for 2 people.

No vegan options. I’ve been here twice though the years and they still didn’t improve. They don’t even offer something like grilled vegetables as many restaurants would do, seems like they genuinely don’t care. They have the cold (and to me taste tasteless) antipasti plate and that’s it. If you care about your customers at least make one Arrabbiata! But all their pasta has eggs in it, so…

You only take people you really like to Saporito. Just not the first date. Fantastic service, very good wines and recommendations and great pasta. You can hardly stop enjoying it. All of this in an atmosphere that makes you forget everyday life. Tip: The ricotta-chard balls. A dream. And be sure to take cash with you. The store is cash only.

They only had an italian and german card without english. They reacted annoyed when we asked if they could translate or help us. Food was not warm didn’t taste like anything. The pasta was sticky and partly hard. Our group of 7 didn’t like it at all. The wine was good

Food was OK. The pastas are homemade and good, a tad too al dente for my taste but that's okay. Service was like that, not particularly friendly or attentive. You can do but know more pleasant restaurants. Unfortunately, the tables are super small and the chairs aren't that comfortable either.

Very good, authentic cuisine in a somewhat bizarre atmosphere that I can't describe. The pictures say more than a thousand words. The homemade pasta is really great and I really enjoyed the bread that came with it.

An Italian like the one in the book. Classic homemade pasta in various variations. Gnocchi fresh to the table. Service very friendly and well informed. Decoration totally interesting. You discover something exciting and sometimes crazy in every corner... prices in the upper segment. Be sure to reserve.

The ravioli were literally bathed in a pool of oil, were too thick and almost without filling. It was not edible.

Fish pasta is mediocre, no desire to finish the dish at all. And for €19? Meh. Ingredients are fresh, yes, but the problem is how it is cooked. Do not recommend. There are better Italian places around.

First time with family in this restaurant, I won't go again. Table reserved for 7 people (2 children). We were assigned the table in front of the entrance door. Unlucky? Tight and very uncomfortable tables and chairs. Very dark environment, couldn't read the menu. We couldn't all eat together. The error was not recognized. It's a shame, as an Italian I was disappointed.

The place Italians take their visiting relatives to show them they are ok in Berlin! Have been here countless times and always the great delicious food you expect. They have a weekly menu consisting of 1 entree, 3-4 (made in-house, fresh) pasta dishes, 1 fish, 1 meat menu item and a desert. From the larger menu, the Antipasti Saporito is highly recommended. If the Parmigiana is on the menu, jump on it. And personally, I would always recommend anything with their home made tomato sauce (ragout or other). And save some room for the Tiramisu 🫶.

Food good, wine good, service good - but you can't pay by card and that's really poor. And in 2024 in the middle of Berlin! A pity…
