Good service. Nice atmosphere. Good quality. Small portions. Price-performance is therefore only mixed.

Remember: If you want to enjoy good service here, you have to order a lot, preferably with friends. I heard lamb chops are delicious. I came to Düsseldorf specifically just to eat here. All I want to do was personally try the lamb chop. I ordered a lamb chop. The waitress asked me if I wanted to order anything else and was obviously unhappy with my order. I was alone and was only allowed to sit at a high table. A waiter forbade me to sit at a regular table. After I chose the high table, he placed a sign on a regular table that said “Reserved.” However, no such sign was seen there before. What annoyed me even more was that until I had eaten my food, no other guests came into the restaurant - there wasn't even anyone sitting at the normal tables. As you can see, I only got four very small lamb chops - very different from the photos on Google Maps. In the end I had to pay €20.60. I asked why the price wasn't €18.80 as I had seen on the bill. With a very impatient tone, the waiter said, “You had Sochinni with you.” Then he patted me on the back and said goodbye with a rude “Ciao!” Very rude! Such a bad experience.

We always feel good here. Although we live in Monchengladbach, whenever we want to remember the taste of Greek food, we go to Costa. The food is excellent and quickly served. I recommend with confidence!

The welcome is warm and the cuisine excellent. We will return!

We visited the shop after an internet search. Our choice was justified. The best tour in Dusseldorf. The place is clean and neat. The staff very kind. We will definitely visit again to try the other options.

It couldn't be better! Even though everything was occupied, we were able to wait with an ouzo or go for a walk. Super friendly team – guests really feel like royalty here. It seems like anything is possible here and you can see how much fun Kosta and his team are having. The food is simply outstanding - the best gyros I've ever had! There are so many great dishes on the menu that I had a hard time deciding. No problem, Kosta simply created a “special plate” for us. We were so excited that we skipped breakfast the next day and came back for lunch instead. Ευχαριστώ – thank you very much! The portions in the pictures are deliberately small and I ordered them that way. Everyone here gets full!

Great place with original Greek style food, run by Greeks (Greek, English, German spoken) in a modern design. Terrace is facing the sunny side of life, food is always fresh and good, Kosta is a great guy and never has a bad mood. He loves what he is doing, and he loves his guests. This reflects into the atmosphere of the place and of course the food. His Greek mama often sits in a corner with a smile, and the spirit of his brother John is always part of the day. Also, the place is cleaner than every other place in 10km driving range. Highly recommended, one can often meet me there.

Our first impression was very good. The store was full, the atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly. We quickly decided on a dish and the wait for the food was also good. The food was very tasty, I would have only liked a small side dish with the gratinated gyros. So you had to ask for some bread again afterwards. Unfortunately, the great impression was ruined in the last few meters. I wanted to pay at the counter and immediately saw the EC machine, which was a relief because I didn't have any cash with me. When I said that I would like to pay by card, I was asked to please pay in cash. Only after repeatedly emphasizing that I didn't have any cash with me was I somewhat reluctantly allowed to pay by card. In my opinion, card payments must be the absolute standard in 2024 (almost 2025). Especially when an EC device is visible, asking the customer to pay in cash has an unpleasant aftertaste for me. If that doesn't matter to you, you're doing absolutely nothing wrong.

As always, it was super delicious and it's like coming to friends' houses again and again 🥰

We went to “Kosta’s & John’s” yesterday because of the very good star rating. It was incredibly tasty, a large selection of dishes, something for everyone. Very nice staff, football was also shown! TOP! We'd love to come back!!!

Delicious currywurst in itself. Unfortunately, the fries left over from the previous order were fried again, which never leads to a good result and many of the fries were rock hard. The sausage was cut with scissors, some pieces were paper thin, some were large blocks. The service behind the counter seemed quite listless. Tip for those picking up: At the gas station opposite, the liter bottle of Coke is cheaper than the 0.33 liter bottle at the snack bar.

Nice little place for a quick bite in Düsseldorf. Staff is friendly and the food is very good. You can smell the goodness as you're walking a few meters away.

The best pita you would traditionally get in Greece. Great fries, everything was simply delicious. And the entire staff is absolutely friendly. Our favorite Greek place for years!! All other Greek snack bars/restaurants are measured against this standard, almost always with the better result for Kosta's & John's.

Had a delicious Gyros Pitha and was very positively surprised - despite profound pita experience. The free uzo upon arrival was a nice welcome that reinforced my positive impression. Gladly again !

Be careful with lamb chops! The blackboard says lamb chops €18.90 (4 pieces), but that only means the 4 tiny pieces of meat! If you want salad and rice you pay a whopping €24.90! And if you drink another cola, you'll end up with €30! I find it quite astonishing. There is much better food for the money. You have the feeling of having been cheated. I will avoid the store in the future.

Great grill room. The food was delicious and the staff and the boss are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There aren't that many tables, so you should actually make a reservation if you want to eat there during peak hours on weekends. Otherwise just take away. The quality of the food makes it definitely worth a visit

Top Essen in einem Imbiss am Nikolaus-Knopp-Platz. Richtig nett und lokal. Wir gehen hier hin als Alternative zum Oberkasseler Pendant von Kosta in der Dominikanerstrasse. Er hat hier ja viele Jahre die Standards gesetzt und das Akro berühmt gemacht. Daumen hoch ! Und ich liebe die Ruhe in der neuen Location.
