A very pleasantly designed restaurant with excellent Asian cuisine. Besides the sushi, the soups on offer are highly recommended.

We got a table for two people without a reservation. We opted for a sushi platter, which we added ourselves. The ambiance surprised us a lot, as it seemed rather unassuming from the outside. The food was good, but we now have a lot to compare it to. Accordingly, we think there's room for improvement in terms of taste. We would have liked to see the staff not only when ordering and paying, but also during our visit so we could provide feedback, requests, etc. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant. If I didn't have a comparison, I would give it 4-5 stars.

A very cozy, small, and warm restaurant! You feel welcome as soon as you walk through the sliding doors. The staff immediately greeted us with a smile, and the young woman who served us was extremely friendly. We were seated quickly, and when I asked for a menu in our language, I thankfully received a hearty "Yes!" 🥰❤️ The food was simply spectacular—fresh, delicious, and full of flavor! Without a doubt, this would be my favorite place if I lived nearby. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

The most delicious Vietnamese food so far! It was more of a coincidence that we discovered this restaurant while passing through Berlin. Since there were six of us, we were able to try a variety of dishes. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and lovingly served. The service was very friendly. A definite recommendation! Great, friendly service! We walked in and a waitress walked towards us with a large wooden boat with sushi on it. Our 7-year-old daughter, of course, loved it and was delighted. The team was so attentive that they also placed our small order on one of those boats to make her happy. Apart from that, the quality was excellent. I haven't had such well-cooked tempura batter in a long time. Thanks for that.

I visited KOI Sushi, Grill & Soup in Potsdam and was pleasantly surprised overall. The restaurant has a modern and stylish feel, and as soon as I entered, I had the feeling that great emphasis is placed on atmosphere and quality. I was really impressed by the menu – it offers a great mix of classic and creative dishes from Japanese and Southeast Asian cuisine. I could hardly decide: fresh sushi, aromatic soups, grilled meat dishes, and also many vegetarian and vegan options – there's something for everyone here. Price-wise, KOI is mid-range, which I think is absolutely fair for Potsdam – especially considering the high-quality ingredients and the beautifully presented plates. My sushi was freshly prepared and flavorful. The curry I tried was also well-seasoned and balanced. I was particularly pleased that the meat (in my case, beef) was perfectly cooked – unfortunately, that's not a given everywhere. I think KOI is a good place if you're looking for Asian food in a modern setting. There are certainly a few things that could be improved, but overall I had a very pleasant visit and would definitely come back.

I was truly impressed by Koi Sushi and Grill in Potsdam! The quality of the sushi is outstanding – the fish tastes fresh and is presented very attractively. The special rolls are a particular highlight and demonstrate the attention to detail. The hot grilled dishes are also excellent and a great addition to the large sushi selection. The ambiance is modern, stylish, yet cozy – you immediately feel at home. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quickly accommodated all requests. I also think the price is absolutely fair for the quality offered. For me, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Potsdam – I will definitely be back and can recommend it to anyone who loves sushi!

We only ordered takeout, and we received a warm welcome, were seated, our menus were brought to us, and we could order. We were given a free tea to while we waited. Very surprising and a definite recommendation.

We discovered this place by chance while passing through Potsdam. Despite the small space, it's very cozy and pleasant. The food is excellent. The homemade lemonades are great—not too sweet and not too sour. We ordered tempura sushi—the filling was very moist. The service was fast.

Here, you can dine under a deceptively lifelike cherry blossom tree in a wonderful ambiance that's second to none. The menu is impressive; it took me twice as long to decide as it did to wait. It's beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. I especially recommend the house lemonade. And I definitely have to come back.

Great restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and really friendly staff. I can't really say much about the menu, as I always order the mango salad with shrimp, which I think is the best in town.

We had to wait more than ten minutes before a staff member came to our table and took our orders. After a long wait, the appetizers arrived, but one soup was also forgotten. There was still no sign of drinks. The sushi was mediocre, and the crispy duck wasn't crispy at all. By the end of the evening, our clothes smelled strongly of the kitchen.

A great restaurant for anyone in Potsdam who loves Asian cuisine and good sushi. In my opinion, it's even better than the local competition on the other side of Brandenburg. I wouldn't actually recommend going here (but only to avoid reservation issues next time) 😄

Really, really delicious, no matter what you order. The only downside is that, even with a reservation, they ask you to sit at the front of the aisle. That's a bit unkind, especially when you know you've reserved ahead of time. I always enjoy coming here!

I accidentally saw this restaurant when I went to Potsdam. After 20 days in Europe, I finally got to eat Vietnamese food. I was so happy I wanted to cry. The restaurant is delicious and the decor is super nice (there are few restaurants in Germany that have decor as nice as this one). The food and service are high-class but the price is very affordable. I recommend that you stop by and try it once when traveling to Potsdam.

Small but nice! From the outside, it looked very deceptive, but the interior is beautifully designed and has a pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent, despite our last-minute visit without a reservation; we were seated quickly. For starters, we had marinated chicken skewers, and for an additional charge, we were able to get 4 skewers instead of 3. For main course, I had the wok dish and my friend had the BBQ meat with coconut curry sauce. Both dishes came with salad and rice. What I didn't expect was that my wok plate arrived at my table still piping hot, which surprised me; it was a great show! 🔥 Overall, a 10/10 rating. Price, service, everything was excellent. For everything, including drinks, we paid €50, plus a €10 tip.

Unfortunately, the food has gotten really bad. There are no herbs in the curry, and the vegetables are overcooked and the tofu is tasteless. The menu has also changed completely. I think the owners have changed. And unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly. It's a shame, it was my favorite trashy restaurant in Potsdam.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly over the last year. We used to be happy to order, but now preparation requests based on allergies are repeatedly ignored and today, unfortunately, for the first time, the flambéed sushi arrived so charred that it was no longer edible.

Recommended! They don’t necessarily have to advertise or do marketing via social media. I think consistent quality gets around that way. Nevertheless, I want to boost here. As soon as you enter you are greeted with an incredibly warm welcome - here you feel not just a customer, but really a guest. Even if, like me, you just want a small meal or just a coffee. The service is attentive, quick and yet wonderfully relaxed and friendly and unobtrusive. Wishes are implemented as soon as possible. You can simply feel that there is a real passion for good hospitality here! The food was always fresh, crispy and lovingly prepared - and the taste was top notch. Particularly pleasant: the employees kept asking in a friendly manner whether everything was ok, Conclusion: Eat well, enjoy honest customer friendliness. It's here.

Nice cozy little Asian restaurant, on the edge of the "Holländer-Viertel" - with a large selection of dishes on the menu! The spring rolls as a “starter” were extremely tasty - and so were the two different duck dishes! Reservation for a late appointment (8:30 p.m.) on a Wednesday - end of March - may not be absolutely necessary. The only thing we didn't like about it...was that (in addition to 3 tables occupied by guests) tables all around - including decorations - had already been cleared away. Yes, it's understandable...if it's almost time for the end of the day... - but then it no longer creates a nice, relaxed atmosphere for guests who are still present.

Food is ok. We were late for 20min, they were mad but right to be. Decoration is tacky, they dont know what cuisine to follow. Good beer.

The sushi is always fresh, incredibly tasty and prepared with a lot of love. You can immediately tell that quality is important here. The “Salmon Choice” and the Pho Koi in particular are an absolute highlight! The service is also great – super friendly, attentive and always with a smile. Even when it's busy, the staff remains relaxed and professional.

We were there for lunch and each had a lunch menu. Price/performance very good! As the number of guests increased it took a little longer, but staff were always friendly. Personally I found it a bit cool, but I'd be happy to come back.

I would prefer to give zero stars. I ordered food there worth almost €100 for a special occasion. After a long wait, the order was simply canceled… just like that, no call, nothing. Now I'm standing here with guests without anything to eat. An absolute disgrace! If you are unable to deliver food, then don't offer it! To make it clear again, this is really extremely outrageous and I am really stunned. Ps: I didn't order shortly before closing time or do anything else 'unfair'. The food was ordered in advance!

The service in the restaurant was impeccable and the ambience was consistently good. My partner and I each ordered a starter and a main course. Except for my starter, everything was delicious. I ate half of my cucumber salad until I noticed little tiny critters crawling in my lettuce leaves. When my partner saw it too, I told the waitress and had the salad returned. The only feedback we received was that she and her colleague didn't see these little animals and would only charge us 50% for the salad (€6.90). I'm more than speechless... I pay €3.45 instead of the full price because the waitress apparently didn't see the crawling animals. Very disappointed with the handling of the situation. That shouldn't be the expectation of a restaurant.

A pleasure! The salmon was buttery tender, the sauce was great, the vegetables were crispy, consisting of mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots and peppers. Accompanied by sour cucumber sticks marinated in chili sauce. They were so delicious and I've never eaten them anywhere before. My friend had Seitan on a skewer with vegetables, deep fried, and peanut sauce. The service was also super friendly and quick. I'll definitely come back. It was divine.

The food was really good, but unfortunately the portions were very small. I ordered a rice curry and got maybe forty fifty grams of rice. Very little. During delivery, some food was missing at the edge and leaked. There were no sticks included when delivered, which is something I'm used to. Rounded up to just three stars. But I can't really recommend it.

The large menu offers a very good selection of dishes, including a large selection of fresh sushi. The prices are fair and portions are appropriate. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive. If you want to enjoy fresh Asian cuisine in a beautiful ambience, this is the right place for you!

We have already tried different dishes here. Have been there about 10 times so far. So far everything has been very tasty, whether vegetarian or not. The food is beautifully presented and we have always found the staff to be friendly. We like coming here. Reservation is definitely recommended, depending on the time.
