NORI Potsdam in Potsdam

It is difficult to rate this restaurant. The food is impossible to judge as anything other than flawless, however, there is no toilet. Which give the number of seats, especially if you include the outside seating, seems crazy. You can pay 1 euro to go to the one in the restaurant next door. But the food is amazing.. maybe a takeout is the better option.

The restaurant is an ex-bar, unfortunately nothing has been changed in the interior. We came for the Vietnamese cuisine. In the restaurant we discovered that they offer everything from across Southeast Asia. That's never good. Plus sushi. The store's prices are easily 20% too expensive, nothing authentic and obviously only made for outside the home. The dishes were boring. You could eat it, yes, but really tingling, for these prices, no, not really. More like fast food. And the waitresses were very friendly. With 3 tables occupied, I had no chance of getting a second beer in a timely manner. There is still a lot of room for improvement!

the service was rather bad. Unfortunately, no one asked again whether everything was OK. Unfortunately, the food was very bad, the sushi rice was totally sugary and mayonnaise was served as a special sushi sauce. Unfortunately, I've never had such bad sushi before. The special drink, which cost €5.5, consisted only of water and sugar. Not recommended, price-performance ratio is absolutely not right.

Their vegan sushi platter tasted quite good. Staff was a little shy, but friendly and helpful. Payment was only cash which was a little unfortunate. Bathroom worked, but was very cramped/full and a bit run-down. Overall a decent experience!

Ok that was the best vegan sushi I ever tried! I am saying this after 2 complete years of my visit, and this please is still unbeaten in my heart 😊

Super inexpensive and top quality!

We had an amazing time here at NORI. When looking for vegan sushi it can be hard to find more than the regular avocado and cucumber sushi, but the food this place offered was simply amazing! Never had we ever tasted such good vegan sushi before. The service was very kind and helpful. We sat on the outside terrace which is located on a vibrant street. The atmosphere here was great. We definitely want to visit again!

I used to really appreciate NORI because, as a purely vegan sushi restaurant, it offered a unique and delicious selection of plant-based sushi creations. Unfortunately, this has changed. Although the food at NORI is still very good, I was very disappointed to learn that the restaurant now also offers sushi made with real fish. The original vegan approach was a key reason for me and many other customers to visit NORI. The move to offering seafood dishes represents an unfortunate loss for the vegan community and the restaurant's original philosophy. I hope that NORI thinks about its decision and perhaps returns to its vegan roots.

It's a shame that a purely vegan shop behaves so backwards and offers fish. There is enough choice in Potsdam for those who don't follow a vegan diet. Lots of thumbs down.

The vegan sushi was very good, but we waited an hour for our order. We weren't told anything and generally I had the feeling that the employees were intimidated and didn't want to talk to us. In such a situation you can at least apologize in good time and maybe give some kind of discount There are also no toilets

Discovered last year and since then I can't imagine life without NORI. And yesterday's visit was again a complete pleasure. A great, friendly family business with delicious vegan sushi that I can only warmly recommend. Whether ordering or visiting - I'm already looking forward to the next time. Update from summer 2023 Today's visit was fantastic again. The Nori plate for two in particular leaves nothing to be desired. We recommend.

The website is not accessible. Orders only possible via Lieferando. It used to be delivered in 60 minutes. We've already been waiting 100 minutes today. Unpredictable service, therefore no longer recommended.

best vegan sushi I've had! So lucky I stumbled upon this place

The three of us passed Nori and the dessert “Sweet Sushi” appealed to us. During our meal, we were the only guests. Since we weren't really hungry, we stayed with a small order. But the lady was having a lot of fun with a gentleman in the kitchen, which we find a shame. Because what's important is not how much you order in groups, but rather the experience for US of trying out new dishes and exchanging ideas about them. The sweet sushi itself was very tasty. Unfortunately there was very little fruit sauce on it, so your mouth quickly became dry when you ate it. The yakitori skewers were rather dry and tough. Unfortunately not our case. All in all a new culinary experience, for us it remains a unique visit to Nori Potsdam.

Ordered a Tomyum Ramen and a mango coconut milk smoothie. The smoothie was delicious. The ramen was beautifully presented. The Tomyum soup was delicious, but unfortunately the shrimp tempura quickly became no longer crispy due to the soup. The taste of the shrimp was still delicious, but the consistency wasn't as nice. The tofu was okay, but the seasoning was too weak for me and the consistency was softer than I expected. The price and waiting time were average and reasonable. Overall I would recommend the restaurant. However, there are only two options for ramen as they seem to focus more on sushi. (But that shouldn't be a complaint. If you want, you can just look at the menu in advance ;)

Very bad vegan sushi. Basically just overpriced mayonese on top of rice. Not recommended.

Food was ok, I recomend the crispy sushi, the reason I give a 2 is cuz the service was slow. The food came too late. And had to stand twice to get the server from her seat, even tho I waved the cook and staff several times, only for them to clearly ignore. It wasnt even a busy day. We were only two tables. Then i walked down the main street and saw better looking sushi places and regretted coming here.

The owner may have changed here, otherwise I can't explain the reviews. The worst sushi I've had in a long time (or ever), my companion agreed. Fishy, ​​cheap mayo, poorly and carelessly rolled, tempura much too thick. Just hard to get down. Supermarket sushi is better.

UNREAL certified vegan sushi!!! Super fresh, super clean, very fast service!!!! And extremely reasonably priced for vegan sushi. Sooooo glad I had lunch here today!!! If ever back in Potsdam, I’ll be sure to come back. Whole area around is very vegan friendly!!!

Not recommendable. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. Sushi was so-so and only tasted like mayo, which was generously spread on everything. Soy sauce was even missing. No apology or anything like that.

No card payment, which by itself is already ridiculous, there is so many cheap providers where you can get a terminal and accept payments. It's worse because they have a sign at the door saying they accept all major cards. Maybe they just wanted to bill us of the books or something,I don't know but that really sucks. Get a card terminal it's not hard or expensive

It was very very tasty! Very nicely prepared. We took some leftovers with us and it was beautifully prepared and new wasabi soy sauce and ginger were added. Excellent!

We waited 2.5 hours for our food (1 hour longer than advertised). Nobody could be reached by phone. In the end, some of the wrong dishes were delivered, there was no soy sauce and the miso soup was inedibly salty. That was definitely the last time!

The vegan sushi was excellent and was freshly made in front of us. The rainbow sushi and the fried tempura sushi were particularly tasty and visually very good! We didn't like the atmosphere so much - it was reminiscent of a train station snack bar and that guests had to go through the kitchen to use the toilet. Fairly priced - €50 for two people and we were both full. Definitely worth a visit from a culinary point of view, but not a place to linger comfortably.

The food was delicious, I've never had such good sushi before (I've tried a lot of it). The tea was super tasty and completely different, no bag but everything brewed fresh. The black sushi was simply surprising and everything else was a real pleasure in terms of taste. The only drawback...no card payment even though it was at the door. Hopefully just a technical defect. Ambience, small and typically Asian. Very good sushi!!!

Das Sushi ist lecker, der Reis vielleicht ein bisschen fad. Aber der Laden ist nicht mehr vegan. Daher für mich leider keinen Option mehr. Voll schade.

Wir haben für Mittwoch 19:15 einen Tisch reserviert, der auch bestätigt wurde. Am Restaurant angekommen mussten wir jedoch feststellen dass alles zu und anscheinend geschlossen ist. Die Öffnungszeiten am Restaurant und bei Google Maps sagen jedoch geöffnet. Schade dass es dafür keine Meldung oder Hinweis gab und wir umsonst hergefahren sind.

Leider völlig geschmckloses veganes Sushi ...war enttäuscht

Wir waren zu dritt und haben uns die Sushi-Platte für zwei bestellt. Die Menge war mehr als ausreichend und wir waren alle pappsatt. Die Qualität der Zutaten war erstklassig und man konnte die Liebe zum Detail in jeder Rolle spüren. Ein weiteres Highlight war der großzügige Außenbereich, perfekt für einen lauen Sommerabend. Wir haben den Abend mit den Sweet Rolls als Dessert abgerundet, die ich jedem wärmstens empfehlen kann.

Man kann es kurz beschreiben: 1. Weder die Bedienung noch weitere Mitarbeiter im Laden sprechen deutsch. Die Bestellung gestaltet sich daher schwierig und es wird spannend was letztendlich an den Tisch gebracht wird. 2. Der Geschmack ist einigermaßen ok, wobei die veganen Sushi so ziemlich nach nichts schmecken. 3. Der Laden gleicht eher einer Rumpelkammer. Draußen ist es wenig sauber und drinnen werden von leeren Getränkekästen bis zu sonstigen Utensilien jede Menge "ansehnlicher" Dinge gelagert. 4. Ach ja, man sollte tunlichst nicht auf die Toilette müssen, denn es gibt keine die benutzbar ist. Gesamtfazit: Ein Reinfall und nicht zu empfehlen!

Ich habe Nori geliebt, auch meine Freunde haben Nori geliebt, sind auch aus Stuttgart und München vorbei gekommen nur um da zu essen nur jetzt verkaufen sie leider auch echten Fisch und das heißt für mich, die starke Fisch Allergien habe, dass ich nie wieder bei Nori essen kann, da jetzt auch die vegane Stücke kontaminiert werden. Reicht wenn das selber Messer benutzt wurde. 😕 Ihr hättet das nicht machen sollen allgemein, veganen Sushi der so gut schmeckt… das war eueren USP jetzt ist es einfach nur noch so ein laden. Schade.

Nori missed the mark for me. I prefer vegan sushi made with "real" ingredients (fruits, veggies, herbs, etc.) rather than imitation meat, and they used the latter in many rolls. I found the mango rolls to be too sharp/unbalanced for my taste, and the size/construction of all of the rolls made them a bit challenging to eat. That being said, the ingredients were generally fresh and high-quality. Service was good and the outdoor seats made for a pleasant lunch spot.

Being one of the highest rated vegan places in potsdam, we gave it a try. A let down when they offered us the "fish" menu alongside the vegan one so clearly widening their choices for profit making rather than being a vegan establishment. Their staff were taking the tables inside to play with their phones and do paperwork so we had to sit outside. Baby chair was left outside gathering dirt and they didn't bother offering or cleaning even though we clearly had a child. Food was fine, not the best not the worst. They charge for tap water!! And there are no toilets.

Keine Toiletten im Restaurant. Uninspiriert. Sehr langweilig. Edamame waren aus. Es ist eher ein Imbiss. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Klein und gemütlich! Wir haben prima veganes Sushi 🌱🍣 gehabt, gern mehr davon und weniger echte Meerestiere

Guter Service, gut gelegen, in einer ruhigen Straße ohne Verkehr, und leckeres Essen. Das erste Mal veganes Sushi. Hat mich nicht enttäuscht, vor allem die frittierten Sushi-Rollen sind herrlich. Wir hatten die Platte für zwei und waren danach ordentlich voll. Das wird aber auch wieder den etwas höheren Preis gerecht 40 €. Fazit: Das vegane Sushi schmeckt sehr lecker und ist vielseitig. Jedoch kommt es nicht ganz an Geschmack von herkömmlichem Sushi, dennoch als vegane Alternativen exzellent. Ich komme aufjedenfall wieder.

Das Nori befindet sich ganz unscheinbar in der Dortustr. neben dem Café Rosenberg. Dafür, dass es so unscheinbar ist, ist die Qualität grandios. Leckeres veganes und fischhaltiges Sushi. Habe bei meinen zwei Besuchen die Mighty Mushrooms gegessen und einen Golden Buddha (Mangolassi mit Kokosmilch) getrunken und war jedes Mal zufrieden. Wenn ich Lust auf Sushi habe und mich in Potsdam befinde, komme ich gerne wieder!

Service nicht sehr bemüht. Essen ok, mehr nicht. Zwei Bestellungen kamen zeitlich sehr versetzt. Ich hatte Ramen bestellt und Udon bekommen. Die veganen Sushi konnten gar nix. Und die Toilette defekt, und das schon ziemlich lange. Da wird es keinen weiteren Besuch geben! Leider!

Wer offen für veganes Sushi ist, der ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Ebenso die Ramensuppen sind super lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und probieren uns durch die Speisekarte.

gut schnell lecker man sitzt schön in der ruhigen Seitenstraße. Kein WC innen wenig Plätze Parkplätze vor der Tür Fussgängerzone Brandenburger Strassse um die Ecke.

Came here while visiting Potsdam and the food was delicious! The rolls were fresh, tasty and creative. Also the fresh ginger mint hot tea is served in a huge bowl and so good. Highly recommend Nori even if you aren’t Vegan. Very polite and friendly staff.

Tatsächlich das erste Mal, dass ich mich bewusst für veganes Sushi entschieden habe, einfach weil ich neugierig war. Es war hier im Nori eine Entdeckung. Super lecker und optisch auch ein Genuss. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Wunderbar leckeres veganes Sushi, Zalmon und No-Tuna haben mich absolut überzeugt, sich’s in gyosa waren super! Sehr sehr lecker, alles zusammen in einer kleinen Bowl zum mitnehmen, so auch weniger Plastikmüll. Gerne wieder!

Ich bin mit einem Kollegen zu Besuch in Potsdam und wir haben aktiv nach einem veganen Sushi Restaurant gesucht. Dieses hier war auf dem ersten Eindruck vielversprechend. Und was soll ich sagen, dass Essen und die Getränke waren Mega! Es war super frisch und sehr lecker. Die Preise sind wirklich gerechtfertigt und nicht zu teuer! Leider gibt es hier keine Toilette und man muss auf die öffentliche Toiletten ausweichen. Aber für ein veganes Sushi nimmt man das gerne in Kauf. Ich komme wieder wenn ich wieder in Potsdam bin.

Leckeres veganes Sushi, gute und angenehme Bedienung und schöne Einrichtung. Preise eher am oberen Ende des Durchschnittlichen.

Wir haben inzwischen mehrfach nach Hause bestellt, auch anlässlich von Geburtstagsfeiern u.ä. und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Von der pünktlichen Lieferung angefangen(zuletzt über Lieferando) erfreut die optisch sehr liebevolle Gestaltung und das Beste - es schmeckt hervorragend. Großes Kompliment und gern bald wieder. 🙂

Veganes Sushi at its best! Eine sehr schöne Auswahl an Nigiri, Signature Rolls und Fried Rolls. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Portionen sind sehr anständig und die Preise sehr fair. Es dauerte zwar etwas länger bis das Essen kam, aber es wurde durch den unglaublich netten Service wieder gut gemacht. Wirklich topp! Wir gehen glücklich und satt zurück zum Hotel.

Bestes veganes Sushi in Potsdam. Unglaublich farbenfrohe Auswahl, und 100% pflanzenbasierte Fischersatzprodukte die dem Original im nichts nachstehen.
