Unfortunately, it didn't quite suit my taste. The price/performance ratio isn't quite right either. I've often gotten better quality at a better price using the same ordering method. The 10-minute order hold is also too long and should be reduced to 5 minutes. Otherwise, everything was fine.

As an Asian who grew up eating sushi, I can honestly say this was the worst sushi experience I’ve ever had. Honestly, you’d get better quality just buying sushi from Edeka takeaway. The salmon wasn’t even cut properly, the fish quality felt extremely cheap, and I left wondering how this place has so many positive reviews. The only positives: • The service was friendly, which is the only reason I left one star. • The lamb chop was decent (but strangely not included in the “all you can eat” menu — even if it cost 0.01€, then don’t advertise it as all you can eat). Everything else was disappointing: • Sushi quality and taste were by far the worst I’ve ever had. • Portions were small and flavorless. • For 37€ per person, this is outrageously overpriced. Even at half the price, I wouldn’t recommend it. With this price i could have a very nice meal elsewhere. Disappointed !!!!!! Well the images from the menu got me, shouldn’t have trusted so much Thank goodness they at least know how to cook meat, because the rest of the food was inedible.

Very tasty, fresh, and generous portions. The staff is very courteous, and there's no wait time. The restrooms are clean. Some of the seating could use some updating; it doesn't look as nice anymore, and clearing the empty plates took a while. Otherwise, it was great!

I was there a couple of times, I was always very pleased. Service is nice & quick. Food is amazing and the price for all you can eat is really worth it. Great quality and a lot to choose in the menu.

We were there again yesterday after five years. Unfortunately, the quality has declined in every respect. Something was forgotten or brought out incorrectly with every round, the meat dishes were overseasoned and tough, and the Chrispy Rolls had a ton of bitter sauce all over them. Even when we asked for "no sauce please," they still came with it. But the food always came quickly.

As always, everything was top-notch! The staff was super friendly and on the ball, the food was excellent, and the value for money was absolutely reasonable!

We come here regularly and always enjoy it! For my son's birthday, we even got a serenade from the drinks robot. Generally, the service staff is super attentive and quick. The food is always solid and delicious. Definitely one of our all-time favorite restaurants!

Well, even with a reservation, you have to stand in the aisle for a long time before you're shown to your seat. Then you have to repeat certain requests several times. Some of the dishes were very dry. Also, critical reviews like this one get deleted if you can't provide the receipt as proof after two years.

As has been the case several times before, we were not disappointed this time either. Friendly service and a wide variety of delicious dishes. The only criticism: They should think about the surface of the tables. (Use a glass top, etc.) The disinfectant cleaners make the clear varnish sticky, and you might find it repulsive or dirty, even though the tables are clean.

I celebrated my grandmother's birthday with my family. Most of the dishes were delicious, but sometimes the quality was noticeably poor. We ordered using tablets, and the food was then brought out. When we were finished, we wanted to light candles from a cake we'd brought outside, but we didn't have a lighter with us. We asked the waitress for one and she responded with a rude comment like, "We don't have a lighter. We're good people and we don't smoke." I don't know why that happened, but no one wanted us to smoke, and they knew we wanted to light candles. The ambiance was okay; the tables were sticky for some reason, the restrooms were a bit dirty (but not too bad), and the chairs were quite low. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a great place to eat large meals in small or large groups. Ordering via tablet works very well. We enjoy coming here often.

Unfortunately, we spilled a drink, and when we asked for napkins or a mop to clean up, we were given a total of 5!!!!!! single napkins. These were brought reluctantly. So we had to sit and eat at a sticky, wobbly table with a wet floor. When we asked for cutlery, we were met with something like, "Does anyone need anything else so I don't have to keep walking?" Not very hospitable either. Some of the ordered dishes weren't brought (small burgers). Unfortunately, the service wasn't good value for money, but the food was okay :)

It's a bit unfortunate that in a group of more than four people, the fifth person has to sit in the aisle, even with a reservation. The interior could have been better adapted to larger groups. However, the all-you-can-eat sushi is good, and there's something for everyone.

Everything went smoothly. We arrived at 6 p.m. on a Saturday and were seated immediately. We were even able to change tables upon request. The food and drinks came quickly, and the staff were super friendly. When I asked if the meat was halal, the waiter answered me very thoroughly and explained how I could tell from the menu whether something was halal or not. The ambiance could be a bit more elegant for the occasion and price, but the food and service were excellent.

Unfortunately, it was a truly disappointing experience. We dined as a couple and ended up paying just under €73 for just 15 small pieces of sushi. The portion sizes were disproportionate to the price. Even worse: the menu didn't list any prices, which is extremely unclear. The sushi tasted okay, but nothing special. Overall, it was completely overpriced, and the value for money was a disaster. We definitely wouldn't go back—absolutely not recommending it.

Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. Some orders were very delayed – one sushi course wasn't served until after dessert. Despite cleaning, the table was sticky, and the order tablets responded slowly or not at all. The service also seemed lackluster and unattentive. The decor is dated, and the chair upholstery was visibly dirty. The food was okay, but we've had much better here.

An experience I've never had before in my life. 1. I call from home and ask if reservations are necessary for two people. I'm told on the phone to come by, there are plenty of seats available. When I arrive, I see that the place is completely full. 2. A sign saying: Please wait here. We will escort you to your seat is posted in the restaurant. Every customer waiting there was greeted by the rudest waiter in the world, who asked everyone to step outside so the aisle would be clear. Understandable, but then put the sign outside where the customers are actually supposed to wait. 3. When we got to our seats, we first had to ask if the table could be wiped. Then, after 10 minutes, and only after asking for it, we received the tray with which to order. 4. We ordered our first round of 10 pieces. It took half an hour for the 10 pieces to arrive. The fries were delivered without the accompanying mayo, for which we also had to pay extra. Then we ordered our second round, hoping we wouldn't have to wait too long for our food again. Even though the first round wasn't delivered completely, items we had only ordered in the second round arrived. When we asked, they said some things would take longer to prepare. I didn't know until then that cucumber salad was a Michelin-starred dish. My mood was already at rock bottom. I was about to get up and leave the restaurant without paying. Then I just wanted to have dessert to maybe save the day. We waited half an hour for two ice creams and three fruit salads. Then I found out that one of the ice cream flavors we ordered was sold out. €40 per person for cold food, terrible service, and none of the promised items. Don't waste your money.

I've been to kofookoo many times and have always been satisfied – but this time it was a disaster. The ordering system didn't work at all: endless waits, cold food, and sometimes dishes didn't arrive at all. The server was rude and argumentative rather than solution-oriented – including inappropriate comments like "Be glad you don't have my job." After more than 3.5 hours, we left the restaurant disappointed – barely eaten, but paying almost full price. Hygiene was also poor: greasy floor, unpleasant smell in the bathroom, broken furnishings. The upstairs seating areas were crowded with furniture that didn't fit the concept. It's a shame – it used to be a real insider tip. As it is, I absolutely don't recommend it, and it will actually be my last visit.

The food was delicious and varied! The selection is very large, and ordering from a tray is generally convenient; you get a photo of each item. The service deserves a deduction, as the atmosphere was a bit hectic and orders were very mixed up. At one point, we lost track of what was being served. We ordered dessert, and suddenly, after the ice cream, duck and shrimp appeared.

We were completely ripped off: 2 for 1 sushi, the waiter "misunderstood" and brought us 4 portions. Afterwards, they said, "Neo Taste only works if you also order a drink." Since when is that?????!!?? We were then allowed to pack the rest ourselves for an extra €3, including folding the box. €60 and several frustrations later, we finally left the store. Never again!!!

Disastrous service. Despite a table reservation and the restaurant being half full, it was immediately apparent at reception that the waiters were untrained. Every McDonald's employee is better trained and friendlier. Buy more from the robot waiters. They have more charisma and are significantly more intelligent. Tables are sticky, the floor is sticky, and the glasses and plates are outdated. Is there anyone who actually runs this place? Or is the robot in charge of the place?

A successful afternoon at Kofookoo Restaurant We had reserved a table in advance as a precaution, although it's not as busy on weekday afternoons. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The atmosphere was inviting and stylishly modern without being overly pretentious. Pleasant lighting with an industrial look and subtle Asian decorations contributed to a relaxed ambiance. The menu offered an impressive selection of classic and lesser-known dishes, which made the decision difficult. When ordering, you type in your desired dishes on a tablet and submit them. A special feature are the beverage robots that deliver the drinks you ordered precisely. The service also deserves high praise. The staff was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. Our questions were answered competently, and we felt well looked after at all times. All in all, our visit to Kofookoo Restaurant was a complete success. We would be happy to come back!

You really can't complain about the food, and the service in the restaurant is top-notch, with a few exceptions (perhaps they should move their private conversations to a place where no guests can hear them, or things like that, such as when they express themselves in a very antisocial manner). The upholstery on all the seats has apparently never been changed since the restaurant opened and is unfortunately quite dirty and covered in grease stains. I would still come back, but maybe something will be done about it.

Delicious Asian food for self-ordering (all-you-can-eat), delicious cocktails, and sodas, not included in the all-you-can-eat package. A small downside for me: the time you can order food is limited to two hours. Plus point: Parking in the Rindermarkthalle parking lot is discounted with a parking card at the restaurant.

We came here spontaneously; it tasted good. Not everything was to our liking, but that's probably a personal preference. We couldn't fault the quality; it arrived warm, fresh, and crispy. The service was super friendly and really fast; even when the place suddenly got busy, I had the feeling things were going well. Ordering via iPad had a few initial hiccups for us, but it did the trick. The ambiance: the chairs weren't particularly comfortable, much too low for tall people, and you couldn't sit outside on the main street next to the smokers. My conclusion: we'll definitely come back when we want to eat sushi at HH 🥢🍣

We thought the music would be a bit more in keeping with the ambiance (there was a lot of "party"/happy music). Here, we were expecting more appropriate Japanese music. However, this didn't bother us at all; it fit in perfectly. We'd love to come back!

I'm really surprised by some of the devastating reviews. I don't understand them. I've been there several times and always have a good time. It starts with the location and the great design. The occasional wear and tear to the furniture, as in this photo, or worn glasses is only natural. You could even call it sustainable. I didn't use the restroom so I can't comment on that. It's true that the staff don't linger long; that's also natural. We did wonder whether something had arrived or not. But it didn't really bother us because the food always arrives quickly and if in doubt you can just order again. We've never managed to make the most of the all-you-can-eat option. I'm certainly no sushi expert. But I did find the sushi very tasty.

The food was delicious, but the service was very slow. But what we found worst were the sticky tables, the run-down interior, and the smelly, dirty restrooms. The entire restaurant was filthy, the floor and stairs were completely filthy. The entire restaurant desperately needed a renovation.

So, on Father's Day, I went to the shop with my girlfriend and friends. When you order food and drinks, one thing or another doesn't arrive, and the manager uses the excuse that there's no other way to order drinks, and you have to wait another 10 minutes for the next order. That's not the case on Mönckebergstrasse. Our manager is completely incompetent; he's just totally stressed out.

The concept sounded promising, but the reality was disappointing. The tables were sticky and didn't look clean. I had expected much more from the food – much of it tasted more like an average buffet. The price is in no way justified. The sushi seemed carelessly prepared, and the hot dishes were more like convenience food. For the price, there are definitely much better alternatives in Hamburg.

Absolutely not recommended! Everything was extremely careless, the ingredients were cheap, and not even tasty. So, a buffet for two people plus two drinks per person, and in a flash, €100 is gone, which leaves a bitter aftertaste given the quality... we definitely won't be back.

The “All you can enjoy” is great. Especially the sushi, which is always fresh and offered in a large selection. The small, warm dishes are also very good. Reservations are essential, especially at peak times, and you should allow at least two hours for your meal. The service is very friendly, but if it is full it can sometimes take a while for food and drinks to arrive at the table. The location is nicely decorated, you feel comfortable here, but it is often very loud.

So for the price, the quality is really good! The food comes quickly, you order via an iPad, and the selection is really good. They even have halal meat. There's also a great selection of desserts. It's always a pleasure to come here.

Unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment. I really like the concept with the tablet and everything, so my husband and I wanted to try it out. The first thing we noticed was the incredibly sticky table, which was very unpleasant. When the drinks arrived, my Coke tasted like brackish water! When I asked, I was told it was tap Coke (i.e. syrup with tap water) and was then given something else as a substitute. The waitress was very nice! Unfortunately, I have to agree with the review about the glasses. Extremely worn and they smell like a dirty dishwasher. Very disgusting, unfortunately. Due to my hygiene concerns, I only ate vegetarian food there. The food itself was OK... the mantau with milk sauce was delicious! Unfortunately, the sushi was very tasteless, and the avocado was overripe (probably because it was the day before?). All in all, we will never go there again. Wouldn't recommend it!

Personeel was erg onbeleefd, niet vriendelijk. Ook heb ik een voedselvergifitiging opgelopen van het eten. De kip was rauw, maar in de sushi juist heel hard. Ook het beef kon je niet doorheen bijten, zo hard was het. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet. Vond het veelste duur voor wat je kreeg.

Compared to other places, it's pretty cheap. The sushi fell apart when you picked it up, and EVERYTHING had a literal sweet sauce. I think they could update the recipes a bit and skip the cucumber. I found it very expensive for what it is. I really don't recommend it. I think it's better to go to an a la carte sushi restaurant than this one, which is a buffet but the quality isn't very good. The staff service was pretty good, and the place is spacious. I don't recommend the food, though.

Teenagers forced to tip :( Best to pay by card! I've been here several times with a family friend for the all-you-can-eat option, as the kids love ordering on the tablet. I've always found the sushi to be solid, the selection of different dishes to be large, and the prices to be fair considering you can really eat until you're full and it's interactive fun. Nothing has been forgotten so far, and the food always arrived quickly. However, I had a truly terrible experience the last time. The daughter of the family friend was visiting the city with several teenage friends, and they wanted to eat here with their pocket money. When we all paid separately at the end, the waiter was visibly annoyed. The kids paid in cash from their pocket money, and the waiter refused to give change, claiming he didn't have any change. So the kids all had to round up to €40. I was totally perplexed at the time. I then gave them their change back from my own pocket and got extra cash instead. In retrospect, I wish I had recognized the situation better immediately, simply paid for everyone with my card, or insisted that the waiter go and get the change.

We have been eating here often and always for about 10 years. Unfortunately, the quality has now deteriorated so much that we probably won't do it anymore. Food: All dishes have lost a lot of quality in recent years. The sushi often falls apart, the meat tastes bland or is so covered in seasoning powder that you can no longer eat it (lamb skewers). Ambiance: The large moss wall used to be beautiful, but now it just looks shabby as there are only large areas of dried-out remnants hanging there. The toilets (men's and women's) are dirty and smell of urine. The tables are only poorly wiped down and stick to large areas. Service: The service does its best to fulfill orders. But they don't even ask you if it was tasty or anything like that anymore, they just check you out and then look strange if you only give a small tip. All in all, unfortunately very disappointing and our last visit for the time being. Maybe we'll try again at some point, but given the sharp rise in prices, I doubt that.

The food at Kofokoo is really top – fresh, tasty and well presented. The digital ordering concept is also fun, and most waiters are friendly and attentive. But one star deducted for a situation that just doesn't work: I overheard a waiter openly asking a guest why he didn't leave a tip. Something like this not only seems unpleasant, but also puts people under pressure. Tipping is voluntary and should never be forced or demanded - especially not in front of other guests. I was happy to tip because the service was good. But such behavior unfortunately casts a shadow over an otherwise very good experience. Hopefully this was an isolated case - because the visit is definitely worth it from a culinary point of view.
