Disastrous service. Despite a table reservation and the restaurant being half full, it was immediately apparent at reception that the waiters were untrained. Every McDonald's employee is better trained and friendlier. Buy more from the robot waiters. They have more charisma and are significantly more intelligent. Tables are sticky, the floor is sticky, and the glasses and plates are outdated. Is there anyone who actually runs this place? Or is the robot in charge of the place?

A successful afternoon at Kofookoo Restaurant We had reserved a table in advance as a precaution, although it's not as busy on weekday afternoons. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The atmosphere was inviting and stylishly modern without being overly pretentious. Pleasant lighting with an industrial look and subtle Asian decorations contributed to a relaxed ambiance. The menu offered an impressive selection of classic and lesser-known dishes, which made the decision difficult. When ordering, you type in your desired dishes on a tablet and submit them. A special feature are the beverage robots that deliver the drinks you ordered precisely. The service also deserves high praise. The staff was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. Our questions were answered competently, and we felt well looked after at all times. All in all, our visit to Kofookoo Restaurant was a complete success. We would be happy to come back!

You really can't complain about the food, and the service in the restaurant is top-notch, with a few exceptions (perhaps they should move their private conversations to a place where no guests can hear them, or things like that, such as when they express themselves in a very antisocial manner). The upholstery on all the seats has apparently never been changed since the restaurant opened and is unfortunately quite dirty and covered in grease stains. I would still come back, but maybe something will be done about it.

A small downside for me: the time you can order food is limited to two hours. Plus point: Parking in the Rindermarkthalle parking lot is discounted with a parking card at the restaurant.

We came here spontaneously; it tasted good. Not everything was to our liking, but that's probably a personal preference. We couldn't fault the quality; it arrived warm, fresh, and crispy. The service was super friendly and really fast; even when the place suddenly got busy, I had the feeling things were going well. Ordering via iPad had a few initial hiccups for us, but it did the trick. The ambiance: the chairs weren't particularly comfortable, much too low for tall people, and you couldn't sit outside on the main street next to the smokers. This was our first time at the All You Can Enjoy restaurant and we were very satisfied! The service was great, the food was really good, and the atmosphere was also very nice. We thought the music would be a bit more in keeping with the ambiance (there was a lot of "party"/happy music). Here, we were expecting more appropriate Japanese music. However, this didn't bother us at all; it fit in perfectly. We'd love to come back!

I'm really surprised by some of the devastating reviews. I don't understand them. I've been there several times and always have a good time. It starts with the location and the great design. The occasional wear and tear to the furniture, as in this photo, or worn glasses is only natural. You could even call it sustainable. I didn't use the restroom so I can't comment on that. It's true that the staff don't linger long; that's also natural. We did wonder whether something had arrived or not. But it didn't really bother us because the food always arrives quickly and if in doubt you can just order again. We've never managed to make the most of the all-you-can-eat option. I'm certainly no sushi expert. But I did find the sushi very tasty.

So, on Father's Day, I went to the shop with my girlfriend and friends. When you order food and drinks, one thing or another doesn't arrive, and the manager uses the excuse that there's no other way to order drinks, and you have to wait another 10 minutes for the next order. That's not the case on Mönckebergstrasse. Our manager is completely incompetent; he's just totally stressed out.

The “All you can enjoy” is great. Especially the sushi, which is always fresh and offered in a large selection. The small, warm dishes are also very good. Reservations are essential, especially at peak times, and you should allow at least two hours for your meal. The service is very friendly, but if it is full it can sometimes take a while for food and drinks to arrive at the table. The location is nicely decorated, you feel comfortable here, but it is often very loud.

Unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment. I really like the concept with the tablet and everything, so my husband and I wanted to try it out. The first thing we noticed was the incredibly sticky table, which was very unpleasant. When the drinks arrived, my Coke tasted like brackish water! When I asked, I was told it was tap Coke (i.e. syrup with tap water) and was then given something else as a substitute. The waitress was very nice! Unfortunately, I have to agree with the review about the glasses. Extremely worn and they smell like a dirty dishwasher. Very disgusting, unfortunately. Due to my hygiene concerns, I only ate vegetarian food there. The food itself was OK... the mantau with milk sauce was delicious! Unfortunately, the sushi was very tasteless, and the avocado was overripe (probably because it was the day before?). All in all, we will never go there again. Wouldn't recommend it!

Compared to other places, it's pretty cheap. The sushi fell apart when you picked it up, and EVERYTHING had a literal sweet sauce. I think they could update the recipes a bit and skip the cucumber. I found it very expensive for what it is. I really don't recommend it. I think it's better to go to an a la carte sushi restaurant than this one, which is a buffet but the quality isn't very good. The staff service was pretty good, and the place is spacious. I don't recommend the food, though.

Teenagers forced to tip :( Best to pay by card! I've been here several times with a family friend for the all-you-can-eat option, as the kids love ordering on the tablet. I've always found the sushi to be solid, the selection of different dishes to be large, and the prices to be fair considering you can really eat until you're full and it's interactive fun. Nothing has been forgotten so far, and the food always arrived quickly. However, I had a truly terrible experience the last time. The daughter of the family friend was visiting the city with several teenage friends, and they wanted to eat here with their pocket money. When we all paid separately at the end, the waiter was visibly annoyed. The kids paid in cash from their pocket money, and the waiter refused to give change, claiming he didn't have any change. So the kids all had to round up to €40. I was totally perplexed at the time. I then gave them their change back from my own pocket and got extra cash instead. In retrospect, I wish I had recognized the situation better immediately, simply paid for everyone with my card, or insisted that the waiter go and get the change.

We have been eating here often and always for about 10 years. Unfortunately, the quality has now deteriorated so much that we probably won't do it anymore. Food: All dishes have lost a lot of quality in recent years. The sushi often falls apart, the meat tastes bland or is so covered in seasoning powder that you can no longer eat it (lamb skewers). Ambiance: The large moss wall used to be beautiful, but now it just looks shabby as there are only large areas of dried-out remnants hanging there. The toilets (men's and women's) are dirty and smell of urine. The tables are only poorly wiped down and stick to large areas. Service: The service does its best to fulfill orders. But they don't even ask you if it was tasty or anything like that anymore, they just check you out and then look strange if you only give a small tip. All in all, unfortunately very disappointing and our last visit for the time being. Maybe we'll try again at some point, but given the sharp rise in prices, I doubt that.

The food at Kofokoo is really top – fresh, tasty and well presented. The digital ordering concept is also fun, and most waiters are friendly and attentive. But one star deducted for a situation that just doesn't work: I overheard a waiter openly asking a guest why he didn't leave a tip. Something like this not only seems unpleasant, but also puts people under pressure. Tipping is voluntary and should never be forced or demanded - especially not in front of other guests. I was happy to tip because the service was good. But such behavior unfortunately casts a shadow over an otherwise very good experience. Hopefully this was an isolated case - because the visit is definitely worth it from a culinary point of view.

It was very interesting to order your food with the iPad. We were with several people and everyone ordered five dishes. The table was full to the brim and somehow no one knew what to eat. So we had an all you can eat buffet at the table. You should be careful not to order too much. If something is left behind, you have to (pay a fine). Which is totally fine, so no food goes to waste. Ice cream is included, but a few desserts are not included that you would like to try (mochi) and if each of them is 23, then the bill goes up again. Drink prices are okay. Actually like any all you can eat (Mongolia, similar) But because the dishes come one by one and you don't have to get up, it's very nice.

Unfortunately, I can't really recommend the store and I don't understand the good reviews here. We came in, it was relatively dirty/sticky and smelled slightly of a train station toilet. The staff was super friendly and quick, that wasn't the problem. But the people there are definitely exploited and work hard. The quality of the food left something to be desired. The food just wasn't that great and unfortunately I wouldn't do it again for the price.

I don't understand how this restaurant gets 4.3 stars. The food was far from good - tasteless, carelessly prepared and absolutely not worth the money. For the quality you get, the prices are a disgrace! What's particularly annoying is that the high rating tricked me. Unfortunately a big disappointment. As a fan of Asian cuisine who has eaten my way through countless restaurants, I have to say that this experience was the worst. The entire meal tasted bland and lacked flavor. This meant that every variation of the sushi tasted the same, as did the chicken. The gyoza were reasonably acceptable, although there was hardly any difference in taste between the three different types (chicken, pork & vegetables), although you should be able to taste the difference. It's no surprise that you don't always get the best quality at an all-you-can-eat and every guest should be aware of that. However, it shouldn't happen that you lose your appetite and desire after the second round and decide to leave the restaurant early. If at least a handful of items had stood out, you would have concentrated on them and ordered again, but unfortunately nothing was convincing. Something positive: The desserts were quite good - no culinary highlights and more of a typical selection, but at least it was passable. When the service person asked for our opinion when billing and we told her that it was unfortunately a disappointment, no further comment was given. It was simply accepted as if we were already used to it. Too bad. About the restaurant itself: The interior was fine, but the men's toilets smelled incredibly strong of urine and the floor was very sticky. This was right after the store opened, which raises the question of how this could be if cleaning was done the night before. About the photo: I find it embarrassing to offer guests such worn glasses. This might still have its charm in a punk rock bar, but not in a restaurant. Both our glasses and those of the guests at the next table looked like this. Well... if I had listened to the negative reviews this time, I would have been spared this experience and I could have invested my money in another restaurant. It will definitely be the last time, as Hamburg has enough very good alternatives to offer.

Despite a reservation, we had to wait half an hour for our table (2 people), and there was no proper introduction to the tablet's functions. Our drinks didn't come until 30 minutes later, by which time we had already finished the first round. Fish and fried food came about 15 minutes later than the rest, which was also stupid. The quality of the sushi was average at best, as was the selection - nothing special. In addition, the dishes were carelessly prepared, which further spoiled the overall impression. The drinks came to the table very quickly. The individual dishes always came little by little, so that sometimes you no longer really knew what was ordered. But you can see this at any time on the tablet. Nevertheless, most of the food was brought surprisingly quickly, but then quickly placed on the table without a word, which is understandable given the large number of tables and countless orders in circulation. I visited the restaurant today with my partner and was unfortunately very disappointed. A repeat visit is out of the question for us. The ambience was not very inviting - especially in the upper area you had the feeling of being in the middle of a commercial kitchen, which clearly detracted from the atmosphere. The quality of the food also left something to be desired. The sushi didn't seem fresh, but tasted thawed and was sometimes discolored in an unappetizing way. Disappointing – poor organization and misleading advertising! We had a reservation but still had to wait 45 minutes for a table because they seemed to be taking more reservations than there were actual seats available. A reservation should prevent exactly that! We were also confirmed in advance by telephone and on the website that the All You Can Drink XL offer was available. But when we wanted to use it, it suddenly said that it only applies to large groups - this important restriction is nowhere! When asked, we were told that the staff "have no idea" and that you "can't write everything down on the website." Absolutely unprofessional! After much back and forth, we were exceptionally granted the offer, but the whole process was chaotic and unnecessarily complicated. When a restaurant advertises an offer, it should also be clear under what conditions it applies. Not recommended. I don't think I've ever had such bad sushi. The rice was all dry and strange and the fish was tough and definitely not fresh but thawed. Service was non-existent because you ordered via a (already greasy) tablet. In the end, they accidentally charged almost twice the price for everything because the employees didn't seem to fully understand the system with the individual portions or portions that could be ordered as a package. If we hadn't noticed the high price on the bill, we would have paid everything twice.

Når man så skal bestille kan man kun bestille 10 stykker sushi af gangen og så skal der gå 10 minutter før man igen kan bestille. Vi var 2 gæster, så vi fik 5 stykker hver og skulle derefter sidde og vente på at kunne bestille igen. Selv hvis man sender en ordre afsted med mindre end 10 stykker skal man vente 10 minutter. Høj pris, dårlig service, underlig koncept og sushi'en var ikke specielt god. Jeg vil vælge et andet sted næste gang.

We were there yesterday with 7 people. Since the tablets cover a maximum of four people, we received two tablets. The “4” tablet started the first round first. With the three tablet, the first order was placed 5-10 minutes later. There is a 10-minute cooldown per order round. With the tablet for 3 people, 2 orders have now been delivered and the 3rd has been ordered. The first order from the tablet for 4 people was still not there. During operation we asked whether we had done something wrong or whether the device was broken. The waitress couldn't answer due to the German language and called the manager. Instead of getting an answer to our question, the manager pointed out his index finger and tried to point out to us that the cooldown time refers to the order and not to the service time. When we pointed out that we had already received two rounds of orders with the other tablet (i.e. 3 of 7 people) and had already ordered the 3rd round, we were loudly attacked with the statements, among other things, "If you want to be served like a king, you have to pay like a king" or "I don't need unfriendly customers". An attempt to de-escalate, with the indication that we had only asked the operator for support/advice, did not lead to any insight. In short: That was our first and last time.
