I don't know if it's too much to ask the service to work with more vigor and perhaps also mention which dishes will be added if something is missing from the all-you-can-eat dish. When I asked why some things weren't included at the table, I was told that it was probably a system error. The second time I asked for the missing dishes to be re-served, but that didn't work either. The third time I was uncomfortable, I brought it up again in a polite tone. The waiter's comment: "You can order the crunchy rolls with your next order." That doesn't make sense to me because I'm paying for 5 plates per round. We even took photos of everything that came to the table, and even dessert was missing some things. Nonetheless: your concept and the food are really great! Still on the sidelines, there were three of us and at a still pleasant time when there wasn't much going on!

Super quick and friendly staff. Good portions and you'll feel full. For an AYCE, good fish to rice portions in my opinion. It's sometimes really crowded, but that speaks for the quality. So make a reservation on weekends!

We're not as excited as we once were! Unfortunately, kofookoo has worn off. The supply has become smaller and the speed has slowed. It takes forever for something to come to the table. Orders from round 1 sometimes arrived at the table with orders from round 3. We weren't having fun anymore and that's what matters. Unfortunately, after 5 years we will be looking for something new. 🙄

This was an absolutely disastrous experience! The service was subpar, even when you were greeted you weren't even given any friendly attention. But the worst thing was the food: we went there for all-you-can-eat for just under €39 per person. The sushi was just warmed up and not fresh, the avocado was brown, the rice was grayish - just disgusting! The beef was completely tough, dry and tasteless. There was also the Cola Zero, which came out of the glass and was stale and non-carbonated. The dishes came individually and never together. A lot was forgotten and some of the things ordered in the first round only came at the end. The waiters always ran away from the table because it was extremely unpleasant to serve such food... even if you can't call it food... When I spoke to the boss after the coke and the terrible food, he completely ignored me at first. After asking several times, I finally asked him to come to the table so he could look at the inedible food. What followed was even more unprofessional: Luckily we didn't have to pay anything, but the boss "accompanied" us to the door and made it clear that we should leave. An incredibly unfriendly and disrespectful way to treat guests. This restaurant is the worst we have ever visited. Never again!

Incredible! I'm a restaurateur myself and I would be ashamed to serve such subpar quality. The service was nice but knew exactly what they were bringing to the table and always quickly left the table. Food only came partially at the same time and was either cold or didn't taste good. Sushi wasn't fresh, shrimp overlaid and/or not seasoned. When we complained to the boss about the food, he wanted to get rid of us quickly and didn't respond in the slightest to our criticism. His excuse was the previous New Year's Eve business, which in my opinion doesn't justify the poor quality of the ingredients. Worst sushi we have ever eaten. Never again!

I especially find the meat from the “hot dishes” category delicious. We ordered duck, chicken, lamb and beef. I thought the lamb and the “steak” were the best. The chicken, on the other hand, was unfortunately a bit dry. When it comes to sushi, you just have to pay attention to what you order. For example, salmon nigiri is better than tuna nigiri. The portions are small but tasty, you never manage to finish 10 rounds. For the price of around €35 (Weekend All You Can Eat) there is a huge selection of meat, side dishes and sushi. Even the desserts are very tasty, I especially recommend the matcha ice cream. So if you can eat a lot, the restaurant is definitely recommended!

We went to kofokoo for the first time yesterday and were totally thrilled. The first sushi arrived just a few minutes after we placed the order. You can tell that everything was super fresh and we liked everything very much. The selection was really huge and there was something for everyone. We will definitely come again next time we are in Hamburg.

I recently went to Koufoukou Restaurant and unfortunately I have to say that the experience was marred by the rude manner of the waiter. The waiter, a bald man with a few hairs on his head and a beard, was anything but friendly. Every time you asked him to do something, he sighed in annoyance. It seemed as if he was dissatisfied with the guests and constantly asked questions in a threatening tone like "You can't leave that alone!" - really unpleasant. Although the food was good, the waiter's behavior significantly detracted from the experience. On weekends the food is also quite expensive: 35 euros per person. It's worth keeping that in mind. Unfortunately not the most pleasant place in town in terms of service.

Wasn't the first "tablet-all-you-can-eat restaurant" we've been to. However, we won't be coming here anymore. The service at the table was friendly and polite. The food is OK - but nothing special. The ambience in the Rinderhalle is reminiscent of a train station hall - loud and uncomfortable. The concept of 2 hours - ordering every 15 minutes works quite well in other stores. Here, however, we sat there for almost 30 minutes between two orders without service or food. Then the feeling of satiety came on its own. Too bad! Overall, everything gave the impression of being made to measure. For the money - it's not worth it for me. Praise to the service at the table - which was quick and always polite!!! The boss or whoever it was who pointed his finger at us at the entrance like in the parking garage ("up - right - back left - Tusch Nr...") where we could sit down - old Swede... flat zero.

The employees are friendly. However, we were seated in the middle of the room. When I asked if we could have the neighboring table against the wall, as the tables were very close together and we were hoping for peace and quiet from at least one side, I was told that the one with another table was reserved for a larger group. Shortly afterwards, 2 people were seated there... There was dried leftover food on one of the plates. The chairs are worn out and rancid, the table was sticky and too high due to the worn out chairs. The food is ok, I expect better quality with raw fish.

Unfortunately not fresh. Anyone who knows good sushi shouldn't go here. Deep-fried sushi wasn't fresh, even with the second order then the maki sushi like at Aldi. It would be pearl cheap like in Hamburg but we're talking about €35 here.

We had the proverbial last seat in the back corner. Our table wasn't against a wall. It was a door. My chair was right on a step. There was no way I should have slipped back 2cm. Then I would have fallen 2 steps backwards. It's a shame for such a restaurant.

Erst hieß es am Telefon, dass es kein Problem mit einem Tisch für 6 Personen mit kleinem Hund gibt. Als wir eine halbe Stunde später ankamen gab es doch ein Problem mit dem Tisch. Der junge Hund unterm Tisch erschrak in der ersten viertel Stunde 3 mal und meldete sich ganz kurz, hörte aber sofort wieder auf. Der Chef kam und behauptete, der Hund würde andauernd bellen, was überhaupt nicht stimmte, und wir müssten den Hund sonst raus oder ins Auto bringen! Oder gehen Zum Essen: Fad, keine große Auswahl, teilweise kamen ausgewählte Speisen verspätet oder gar nicht, Sushi schlecht gefertigt, Fleischteilweisesehr fest. Die Bedienung war gut. Und nun kommt es: Toiletten nur über eine Treppe erreichbar, also nichts für eingeschränkt Bewegliche! Wenn Kofookoo, dann gerne und nur an der Mönckebergstr.

Wir waren zum Abendessen . Bestellung über Tablet je 5 Gerichte alle 15 Minuten 2 Stunden lang. Die Bestellung klappt super. Dann kommen die Gerichte ohne Nummern und man muss schauen was es genau ist. Teilweise kommen die Gerichte erst nach der 2 Bestellung. das größte Manko: das Essen ist immer nur lauwarm bis kalt. Went to “all yo can eat” for the first time with 4 people on Saturday evening from 6 p.m. The location makes a good impression, but that's where it slowly ends. After the first order (1st round) it took a little longer until the first dishes arrived. Unfortunately, not all of the dishes from the first order were delivered. And that's how it went through the whole evening and everyone ordered rounds. The dishes we ordered were always missing, and unfortunately the hot dishes were also lukewarm to cold. We spoke to the service staff several times about the situation. Unfortunately nothing changed the whole evening. We were repeatedly dismissed with the statement that there was a lot going on and that cold food might occur. Oh WOW we thought, awesome statement. Our complaint would have been communicated to the restaurant management, but unfortunately we didn't hear anything from this person. Except when the 2 hours were up, he came and asked quite arrogantly if we would like to order anything else, if not we should pay. Ok, second WOW was our negative realization again. With all due respect for the catering industry and the employees. But at €34.90 per person, you can expect trained staff to respond to the customer's needs and address any negative points. Cold food??? Seriously??? Just because the store is full??? As if it was such a miracle and unexpected event for those responsible that on a Saturday evening in Hamburg, the restaurant right next to the Winterdom is full... The way in which the complaints were then dealt with simply shows once again that “the fish always starts to stink from the head on”. But even after this feedback is published it will unfortunately be the same as always; The store is so busy that nothing will change. But the store has definitely lost us as guests. Really a shame.

Waren am Samstag Abend ab 18 Uhr zum ersten Mal mit 4 Personen zum "all yo can eat". Die Location macht einen guten Eindruck, aber da hört es dann langsam auch auf. Nach der ersten Bestellung (1. Runde) hat es etwas länger gedauert bis die ersten Speisen kamen. Aus der ersten Bestellung sind leider auch nicht alle Speisen gebracht worden. Und genauso zog es sich dann durch den ganzen Abend und alle bestellte Runden. Es fehlten immer wieder bestellte Speisen, die warmen Gerichte waren leider auch lauwarm bis kalt. Wir sprachen die Servicemitarbeiter/innen mehrmals auf die Situation an. Leider änderte sich den ganzen Abend über gar nichts. Wir wurden immer wieder mit der Aussage abgetan, dass sehr viel los wäre und somit kaltes Essen vorkommen kann. Oh WOW dachten wir, krasse Aussage. Man hätte der Restaurantleitung unsere Beschwerde mitgeteilt, doch leider hörten wir von dieser Person gar nichts. Außer, als die 2 Stunden abgelaufen waren, kam er und fragte recht arrogant ob wir denn noch etwas bestellen möchten, wenn nicht sollten wir zahlen. Ok, zweites WOW war unsere erneut negative Erkenntnis. Bei allem nötigen Respekt für die Gastronomie und die Beschäftigten. Aber bei 34,90 € pro Person kann man erwarten, dass geschultes Personal auf die Bedürfnisse des Kunden eingehen und etwaige negative Punkte abstellen. Kaltes Essen??? Ernsthaft??? Nur weil der Laden voll ist??? Als ob es für die Verantwortlichen so ein Wunder und unverhofftes Ereignis ist, dass an einem Samstag Abend in Hamburg, direkt neben dem Winterdom das Restaurant voll ist.... Die Art und Weise, wie man dann mit den Beschwerden umgegangen ist, zeigt einfach nur erneut, "der Fisch fängt immer von Kopf an zu stinken". Aber auch nach der Veröffentlichung dieses Feedback´s wird es leider sein wie immer; der Laden hat solch einen Andrang, dass sich nichts ändern wird. Uns hat der Laden als Gäste aber definitiv verloren. Echt schade.

Where do I start... fried noodles were sold out until shortly before the end. And we were there after opening at 1 p.m., so to speak. There was no fried rice (which is standard for me with the noodles), as were many other little things. Sometimes the food is brought from the first round, then during the third round. baked vegetables .. cold .. Oh well . In terms of taste, you could eat it... but if I had the choice between there and mces, I would rather go to mces. I hope you know what I mean by the comparison. Just been very disappointed.

When we arrived, we had to wait 30 minutes despite having a reservation. When we arrived at the place, the place was dirty and greasy. The entire store too. Hygiene is poor here. You can order 10 dishes every 15 minutes. We ordered 4 rounds and nothing arrived! Just the drinks. Only the dishes from the 5th round arrived. After we were no longer in the mood and wanted to leave, the waiter waited and explicitly asked him to give him a tip. The store was great 5 years ago, but right now it's absolutely shit. Update: was back on March 4th, 2023, the store is still absolute garbage. I can't help anyone who goes there now

Since we were already disappointed with the restaurant in the city center, we wanted to try the kofokoo in the Rindermarkt Halle. In summary: the service was unfortunately bad, the food wasn't tasty. It was unseasoned, cold and some of it had already been in the deep fryer several times. Tables and chairs were very dirty. Unfortunately, it's not worth the money for the food, service or ambience.

We ate there about a month ago, what can I say? You can't get sushi like this anywhere in our hometown of Rostock! Absolutely delicious, top value for money, the food always came about 5-10 minutes after ordering, except for one round. Even though the shop was full, you could have a relaxed chat, we really enjoyed it and it will be our regular place from now on when we are in Hamburg! The food is very tasty, but you shouldn't underestimate the small portions you get per order and don't order too much. You get full relatively quickly while you're waiting for the next portion. In general there is a lot to choose from. The shop itself is very nice, but what is a big negative point for me is the high volume when I was there and how closely the tables are placed. It seems to me as if the restaurant had to be completely filled with guests. I don't know whether that would be too narrow for wheelchair users. The service is very nice. Regarding the price, I have to say, I think it's a bit expensive, but I would generally come back. My recommendation is to try the takoyaki.

The food is really great! This is clouded by a limitation of 2 hours, where we managed to eat half of the food we could order. It's nice that you can order the next 5 "bites" every 10 minutes, but if you wait up to 45 minutes for each one, that's stupid. I don't want to get sushi when I'm already eating dessert. It took a long time to be seated, even though our reserved table was free. The service was also overwhelmed at all points: there was a lack of friendliness and we sometimes had to stack used plates 40cm high (with 3 stacks!). It looked like assembly line work, which seemed strange to us for €40 per person. Things are much better/quieter at other restaurants of this style. Above all, there is no limit to 2 hours.

Unfortunately we are disappointed with our visit to Kofokoo. The dishes arrived extremely late in each round, and then often not even what we had ordered - instead we got orders from other tables. In addition, some dishes were delivered multiple times even though we only ordered them once. Despite the all-you-can-eat concept, we didn't make it past the second round in the 2 hours because we had to constantly wait for our orders and the food was only delivered after repeated requests. Absolutely not recommended for the hefty price of €80 for two people.

We had a reservation for yesterday at 6:30 p.m. Arriving on time, we waited at reception in the entrance area to be seated as directed. The staff passing by didn't pay any attention to us. Since many tables were free, after waiting 10 minutes, I asked a young woman from the staff at the counter if someone would come to sit us or if we could sit at a free table. According to her, we should wait for the placement. After 15 minutes I asked a passing gentleman from the staff who was responsible for seating. Very annoyed he told me that he would do that and that I should wait. I kindly pointed out to him that we had been waiting at the entrance for 15 minutes and asked if we could park at the free counter in the bar. This was followed by a very annoyed and exaggeratedly loud: “It’s Halloween yes, many without reservations yes, wait at the front!” I asked him to remain calm and maintain due kindness. This was followed by a loud “get out, reservations don’t matter, wait as long as it takes, otherwise bye”. On the way to the door and to my waiting family, he called out to me twice more “or bye, yes” and paraded me in front of my family and other guests who were smoking in front of the door. This disrespectful and insulting behavior cannot be put into words. Apparently his excessive demands turned into threatening aggression. If spontaneous guests without a reservation lead to the collapse of the guest business, urgent organizational measures should be taken. About 30 minutes later we enjoyed a wonderful evening in the other Kofokoo in town. This positive review follows.

We had reservations for 7:30 p.m. After being ignored for 20 minutes, we asked when we would get a table. The man (we assume the boss or something similar) was very unfriendly and said there was a staff shortage. At 8:05 p.m. we were seated at a dirty table. At 8:13 p.m. we placed our first order via the tablet. Drinks came very quickly. The food took a long time to arrive - after 30 minutes we asked what was going on with the food. We were told to reorder, which we did - 15 minutes later still no food. This lasted the entire evening. Not once was an apology or anything offered to make amends. Just kept emphasizing that there are problems. The “boss” constantly pestered us. The waiter, on the other hand, tried hard but seemed helpless. When food came, it was slammed on the table. Some of it was delicious, some of it was disgusting because it had gristly meat. For the price we are more than dissatisfied. Staff shortages, technical problems, etc. can always happen, but it depends on how you approach the guests and communicate this.

There were about 15 other people waiting in front of us, all with reservations. Absolutely underground organization, we definitely won't be coming back. When we left there were around 30-40 people standing in line behind us (also all with reservations). After 30 minutes of waiting without any information from the restaurant, we left.

Ambiance: relatively loud due to the industrial style, you feel a bit like you are on a construction site. The partition walls have hardware store charm (chipboard, partially covered with duct tape). The tables stick because the varnish on the table tops is probably not compatible with the cleaning products. This definitely needs to be improved! Plastic tableware is robust, but has hospital or snack bar charm... What a shame... Service: Everyone was very nice, friendly and tried hard, but the food sometimes arrived late and therefore sometimes overlapped with the next order. This makes it more difficult to estimate how much you can still eat. Food: I've eaten much better, but also worse. Sometimes it gives the impression of mass production, which unfortunately can quickly affect the quality. I had a few pieces of sushi where the rice wasn't fully cooked. That was a shame and resulted in points being deducted... All in all, the concept is great - but we've eaten much better this way elsewhere...

Four of us - my wife, our two children and I - recently went to the kofookoo Sushi & Grill in Hamburg and tried out the all-you-can-eat offer. The restaurant immediately impressed us with its modern and relaxed atmosphere. The furnishings are stylish and invite you to linger, which made the visit pleasant from the start. We found ordering via tablet very practical and easy. You can scroll through the menu at your leisure, discover a wide selection of sushi and grilled dishes and the orders arrive at the table quickly and freshly prepared. Our children had great fun choosing the dishes and were able to try out lots of new flavors - ideal for family visits! There was also a large selection of high-quality sushi, warm dishes and exciting grilled variations for us adults. The food was of excellent quality. The fish was fresh, the sushi was excellently prepared and the warm grilled dishes were very tasty. We particularly liked the variety, so there was something for everyone - even the little ones. The service at kofokoo was also top. The staff was friendly and attentive, so we felt well looked after at all times. Despite the busy evening, we were served quickly and even special requests were implemented without any problems. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we can recommend kofookoo to anyone looking for delicious sushi and a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

A disappointing visit to Kofokoo. The menu was rather manageable compared to other Asian restaurants. The biggest problem, however, was the temperature of the dishes - both the shrimp and other dishes were unfortunately served cold. Even after a complaint, the newly ordered dish came back to the table cold. The staff was friendly and tried hard, but could not compensate for the basic deficiencies. The ambience wasn't convincing either. Conclusion: Despite the nice service, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant. The problems with the food temperature and the rather simple ambience clearly spoiled the evening.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. I like to come here to "escalate" with my sisters because we all love sushi and Japanese cuisine in general. only recommended! Addendum: We were here again yesterday after more than a year. At the current price I definitely can't recommend it anymore. Unfortunately, the fried sushi was cold and the selection has generally shrunk. It was definitely better. It wasn't bad but as I said... given the price, I don't think I'd go there again.

This was our second time eating here while visiting Hamburg. Great shop, nice ambience and delicious sushi. The food is ordered via tablet and is served very quickly. All the guys and girls in service are friendly and helpful. If we travel to Hamburg again, we will definitely come back here.

Ich war mit einer Freundin im Kofookoo und wir haben das Essen beide nicht essen können wir haben es beide probiert allerdings war der Thunfisch faserig und labbrig und hat so garnicht nach gutem Thunfisch geschmeckt. Auch die Farbe war komisch und wir haben ihn wieder ausgespuckt weil es so eklig war. Auch der Rest des Sushis war weniger beeindruckend und teilweise echt nicht essbar und absolut ungenießbar. Dazu kommen hohe Preise und einfach kein Service. Wir haben von einem Roboter falsche Getränke bekommen und saßen dann da aber konnten dem Gerät nicht sagen dass wir das nicht bestellt haben. Die Bedienungen waren nett aber nicht sogut wie nicht anwesend. Zum Bezahlen sind wir dann durch den Laden gelaufen.

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars, but this visit deserves it. Decided on the store based on recommendations. It started with the table not being cleaned properly. There was vomit (probably from a dog) on the floor next to my seat. Due to the busyness of the restaurant, it was pointed out that today you can really only dine for two hours and then you have to leave. Unfortunately, the restaurant cannot cope with the many guests on a Sunday evening. The waiting times for individual dishes were almost 30 minutes (and at AYCE you can only order every 15 minutes). So at that price today you wouldn't even have the opportunity to take full advantage of it. Ordering a set of cutlery also turned out to be an extremely lengthy process. Regarding the food: a lot of it was already cold and carelessly slapped onto the plate. I think you just shouldn't have so many guests on a day like this if you can't handle it. Too bad. We won't come back.

Was here again after ages and disappointed. The restaurant is no longer stylish, but rather shabby with sticky tables and the place smells of toilets and sewage. Previously, everyone had their own tablet, but now the thing had to be shared and the portions were mixed colorfully on the plate. “Great” for vegetarian and normal sushi. The food is okay, but a lot of it is very bland and tasteless. In no way does the “0815” Asian food justify the price, as I can get it on every corner for €5-10 less. The “good” things actually cost an extra charge. Even the fortune cookie is charged at 25 cents, which would be really embarrassing for me as a local.. It's a shame, we used to like it, but now we'll never do it again.

We came based on a recommendation and were unfortunately quite disappointed. The ambience left a lot to be desired. The restaurant has an industrial style. The tables and floor were very sticky. The waiter noticed our looks, apparently it was just the coating. I noticed my dirty chair when I sat down, but I noticed it was one of the clean ones in the restaurant as I was walking. Unfortunately, the toilets were anything but clean, the floor was sticky and the existing changing table was an imposition (we didn't want to put any children there). Our table was in the "junk corner" and there were about 10 pairs of shoes on the floor . (We were very irritated and spent the whole evening philosophizing about it, there was a lounge that you can only enter without shoes) The whole thing could have been handled a lot better, also in such a way that it didn't catch the eye of every guest. Drinks were brought by a robot, so you had to get up, take them and tell the robot that it could continue driving. Which I found very strange, I personally prefer a waiter ☺️Our cocktails were unfortunately inedible, but I have to say that it was because of the (Japanese?) liquor that covered everything up. (Which maybe just wasn't ours) Unfortunately, they all went back completely. The food was OK but unfortunately not anymore. For the price we have eaten much better. However, I found the attitude towards wasting food positive. With all you can eat, every dish that goes back is charged, so you order less and think about whether you really want to eat something else. Overall, the Kofokoo didn't convince us and we'll go somewhere else next time

Went there a few days ago with a smaller group. Basically the food is absolutely okay. They are Asian basics, nothing with sophistication or something that is only available there. If you just want to sit together and share some food, that's great and you'll be stuffed. The disadvantage is if there are people in the group who don't want to order all you can eat (absolutely understandable), they have to! these people order sushi. We didn't think it was that great. We wouldn't make reservations for the next group. Hence the star deduction. Otherwise it's okay.

Der Service war schlecht. Das All you can eat bzw die Bestellung mittels Pad wurde nicht erklärt. Speisen aus einer Bestellung, kamen extrem zeitversetzt. Man musste ständig raten zu wem was gehört und aus welchem Bestellvorgang es ist. 3 Personen teilen sich ein Pad. Unser vegetarisches Sushi wurde mit dem Thunfischsushi zusammen auf einem Teller geliefert. Scharfe Soße auf dem Hühnchen konnte man nicht abbestellen für die Kinder obwohl die scharfe Soße bei der Bestellung nicht auf der Karte stand. Am Ende wurde der Betrag von über 200€, zweimal von der Karte abgebucht. Obwohl man beim ersten Zahlvorgang deutlich den Ton der Abbuchung gehört hat wurden wir aufgefordert es nochmal zu versuchen bzw mit einer anderen Karte. Erst nach ewig langen Diskussionen mit verschiedenen Mitarbeitern, wurde der Fehler eingesehen und zugegeben. Das war kein schöner Geburtstag. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder und werden das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

I would like to share my wonderful experience in kofookoo. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere was pleasant and stylish, perfect for a relaxing evening. The selection of sushi was impressive, and each dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail. I would particularly like to emphasize the freshness of the ingredients and the creativity of the sushi creations. Every bite was a delight and exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent - the staff were attentive, friendly and always willing to make recommendations. I felt completely comfortable and was able to enjoy my visit to the fullest. I can highly recommend this sushi shop and look forward to my next visit. A big thank you to the entire team for the fantastic experience!

Wer das Original aus Amerika kennt, weiß wie es hier zugeht. Die Wings sind annähernd gut. Kann ich jedes Mal empfehlen. Dazu Sellerie mit Ranch Dressig. Preise sind leicht erhöht.
