I love this place, probably the best place to eat in the airport, amazingly delicious Asian food, you can either eat at the restaurant or take it to go which is a great option to take with you on the plane :) price vs quality is very high for airport standards, lots of different options from soups, poke bowl, asian fusions and all types of sushi and lot of different drinks options. thank you very much I will visit you for sure next time I come to Hamburg : )

So to set the scene on what started out as a disaster of a day.. we missed our flight back to the US! We were feeling very distraught and thirsty.. we stumbled upon sashimi sushi and Yero completely turned our day around!! He was absolutely wonderful and made this whole experience so much better! I would 1000% come back just for him. He was a true delight.

Sehr schlechte Bedienung. Kauf über App nicht möglich. Bedienung meinte ich solle später kommen. Beim wieder kommen, wurden 4 Kunden vorgezogen, obwohl ich in der Schlange stand und dran gewesen wäre. Als dann auch der 5 Kunde vorgezogen wurde, bin ich gegangen.

The sushi is very tasty, but relatively expensive, even for airport prices. That would all be ok. Unfortunately, one thing has remained bad for years: the service. The staff, especially the lady who has been standing at the front counter for years, is so incredibly unfriendly. This probably only works because most guests only come once. You have the feeling that you are disturbing the lady. It's a shame and a reason for us not to buy anything here anymore.

I like this sushi shop. Everything is fresh. The selection is large. Everything is great and prepared to perfection. The food was super delicious, the best sushi I've eaten so far. The coconut soup is also particularly recommended – absolutely a must!

Ok sushi, service almost non existent due to an annoying, very unpersonal ordering system. Scan a QR-code for the menu and pay online, a tip is preselected and one needs at least three extra clicks to not pay a tip. I'm OK with paying tips, but there should be some form of service that I can pay for. Hiding behind the counter and only bringing out the food and drinks and a default setting for tips is not something I want to sponsor.

I always enjoy coming here, it's part of the beginning of a trip for me. The sushi tastes really good, the coconut soup is very good and there is beer on tap. The rest is just an airport atmosphere.

Everything that is offered here should be eaten directly on site and not ordered to take away. I ordered my sushi today at 11, it was "freshly" prepared for me, so it wasn't out of the display when I got home, almost 45 minutes later, despite the low temperatures outside, the sushi was no longer edible. It all ended up in the trash and I paid 54 euros for two bowls, but thanks never again. 5 days ago I ordered sushi at the airport that I took with me 4000km away and it was still great even the next day. But this doesn't work at all.

The staff barely looked at us. The only vegetarian and vegan box cost €18.50, significantly more than the rest (€15.00). The food was completely squished and was structurally too poor to be eaten with chopsticks. There was a lot of rubbish in the little space and there was no apparent concept for waste disposal. It really wasn't tasty either. The worst sushi experience of my life.

I've walked past it many times and recently I ate and drank something there for the first time because I had to wait a long time at the airport: the food at Sashimi Sushi (Arrival) was great, the wine was very drinkable, but the service was bad really great!! A really nice and committed employee (Joy) impressed me deeply by helping an extremely arrogant visitor who was having difficulties with the ordering system in a calm voice and thereby keeping him as a guest. (I have to admit, if I were you I would have simply sent him away, also because three other customers wanted something from her at the same time.) Really great!

Very good sushi before departure (airside). The service alone is sometimes a bit spotty. After a long wait for service, we recently set off again. Other guests have resorted to getting take-away food themselves. But the advantage is precisely the service.

The cooked leaf spinach with sesame sauce and sesame is so incredibly delicious. The combination of the nutty taste of the sesame and the tender spinach is simply perfect.

Das Sashimi hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Textur ist perfekt - zart und geschmeidig, und der Geschmack ist einfach göttlich. Hier ist der Fisch noch frisch! Ich kann es jedem empfehlen.

Ich kann für mich persönlich sagen, dass ich Sushi gerne mag und auch in vielen Sushi Restaurants, unter anderem auch in Japan selber, gegessen habe. Daher denke ich, dass ich eine recht qualifizierte Meinung abgeben kann. Der Fisch, ob Tuna Sake etc. das Hauptteil der Sushi war frisch, so wurde es mit mitgeteilt und so hat es tatsächlich auch geschmeckt. man mag das nicht würdigen, aber bei allen möglichen Sushi Restaurants, ist das schon eine Leistung. Bei Sashimi aber Standard. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß mittlerweile haben sie auch Veganen Fisch, wie es verstanden habe, den habe ich jedoch nicht gegessen und kann dazu nichts sagen. Solides Edamame und die Extras, Goma Wakame, Ingwer, Wasabi alles top! Alles in allem ein authentischer Sushi Laden und Preislich auch rechtens angesiedelt. Die Verpackungen sind übrigens der Hammer mit den Oni Illustrationen!

Ein Muss für mich wenn ich am Flughafen bin, leider oft sehr voll und etwas Wartezeit. Das Sushi ist jedoch überragend! Toller Service!

All time Favorite! Am Hamburger Flughafen gibt es für mich nur Sushi. Ich freue mich jedes mal aufs neue. Tolle Atmosphäre und leckeres essen.

Sehr lecker, alles frisch zubereitet.Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Restaurant finde ich etwas klein ,aber dafür gemütlich und gepflegt. Trotzdem bei nächste Reise würde ich nochmal vorbeikommen. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Sashimi Sushi ist für uns eine Pflicht wenn wir verreisen und wir sind jedes Mal begeistert. Das Sushi und die Bowls sind super frisch (vor allem der Fisch) und lecker! Die Mitarbeiter sind total freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist immer sauber und man fühlt sich hier total wohl. Wir kommen immer wieder !

Good place for healthy food. Huge variation of prepped Bowl and sushi boxes available. Also on request. Açaí bowl of my colleague was also very good and my choice for next time. Price quality is fine. Service very friendly. Also cooled bottled drinks available.

Most disappointing thing about here is that you but the ready-made bento boxes, such as you buy them from a supermarket and you pay them the same price as you eat them in a restaurant. Good things were that miso soup was really good and the staff was kind and friendly.

Sehr geehrte Leser und Leserinnen, wir kamen heute aus Amerika zurück und landeten in Hamburg, mit dem Ziel am HBF essen zu gehen. Als wir jedoch allein die Auslage bei Sashimi Sushi sahen, bleiben wir direkt vor Ort und gönnten uns mit meiner Frau jeweils eine der fertigen Bowls. Der Preis war super okay, geschmacklich aber auch von der Menge hat es bei uns auf jeden Fall gepasst. Gerade in dieser hektischen Zeit fehlt einfach die Zeit für etwas gesundes und ausgewogenes. Fast Food ist super schnell bei der Hand, doch ist zum einem nicht viel günstiger und zum anderen sättigt es auch nur bedingt. Wenn ihr unterwegs was essen solltet, egal ob mit genügend Zeit oder zeitlich eingeschränkt, achtet auf jeden Fall auf vernünftige Fett, Protein und Kohlenhydratquellen und dazu natürlich auch auf genügend Gemüse !! Judging from the previous photos, the quality of the food seems to have suffered during Covid-19. The sushi and sashimi is ready made and you just retrieve it from a cooler. The miso soup comes out of a dispenser. A piece of salmon sashimi I had still had a large bone in it and the tuna seemed to be of inferior quality. Overall, I would place the quality of the food at the level you can buy ready made at a German supermarket. With a price of almost 30 EUR for a California Bento and an iced tea, the food is way overpriced. The service was a bit sullen.

Leider war die fertige Box wohl schon etwas länger frisch,der kleine Pappbecher mit dem Ingwer war völlig durchgeweicht,dafür war der Wasabi schon angetrocknet.Das ganze dann für 14,90 Euro ist eine Frechheit

Am 05.10.2020 gegen 13:00 Uhr war ich der einzige Kunde am Tresen, wo eine junge Asiatin bediente. Nur ein einziger Gast saß im Restaurant. Ich bestellte einen Kaffee. Die Antwort verstand ich schwer, da die Deutsch-Kenntnisse der Mitarbeiterin ausbaufähig waren. Es gab keinen Kaffee. Also bestellte ich eine Flasche Bier zum interessanten Preis von 3,28 €. Die Mitarbeiterin kassierte das Geld und tat nichts. Nun musste ich darum bitten, mir die Flasche zu öffnen. Dann passierte wieder nichts und ich fragte: " Wollen Sie mir kein Glas geben?" Sie sah mich verständnislos an und ich sagte, dass ich das Bier trinken wolle. Nun gab sie mir endlich ein Glas. Dann durfte ich den Gästefragebogen wegen Corona ausfüllen und wurde informiert, dass ich diesen auf den Stapel der anderen ausgefüllten Fragebogen auf dem Tresen dazulegen solle. Bei Interesse hätte ich mir die anderen Fragebogen mit Daten ansehen können. So sieht hier Datenschutz aus. Ansonsten war die Mitarbeiterin hier alleine tätig, aber es stand ja abgepacktes Essen zur Verfügung!

Nein Danke!!!! Personal unfreundlich! Habe 15 Min warten dürfen das ich Bestellen kann - dann bestellen (dürfen) - nach 5 Min wurde mir mitgeteilt das der Koch jetzt 1/2 Std Pause hat! Der sitzt jetzt gerade an der Bar und bewegt sich nicht! Nein Danke! Unglaublich!!!

Bei dem Personal schmeckt selbst das beste Sushi nicht. Man hat hier Angst in dem ansonsten leeren Restaurant zu stören, weil das Personal lieber unter sich bleiben möchte. Der Besitzer täte gut daran darauf etwas mehr zu achten. Einmal und nie wieder!

Flug geschafft, weit gereist, anstrengende Tage gehabt und dann direkt am Terminalausgang eine Oase für gutes Sushi und ein wenig Ruhe. Lohnt sich dort einzukehren bevor man ins Taxi steigt um nach Hause zu fahren. Gutes Sushi, schnelle Bedienung und angemessene Preise. Top

Rude, inattentive, grumpy. I wonder why they put people like this in front of customers. Clearly not a shred of customer interest, just there to make easy money with lousy sushi and high prices. Pressing to hurry up 30 minutes before closing time. Didn’t even bother to take t out of the box for me though I stayed in. Avoid.

Un’alternativa da considerare, invece del solito panino. Cucina orientale anche da asporto, comoda da portarsi in aereo.

Bestes Sushi, dass ich kenne. Frisch und superlecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat sogar Extrawünsche erfüllt. Das Essen kam schnell, die Preise sind bei dieser hohen Qualität angemessen. Immer wieder gerne. PS: Es gibt dort erlesene exotische Biersorten frisch vom Fass: absolutes Plus.

If you know good sushi you won’t like this place but for other people it is an ok place. The rice is bland and they use way too much of it in comparison to the fish itself. As I said, it is ok sushi. What actually bothered me the most was the rudeness. It felt like I had to apologize that I sat down and I wanted to order. Typical German even if they look Japanese.

Had 2 hours 2 kill in the airport while waiting on departure. Am a sushi lover so it couldn’t be anything else. I was to regret. Inattentive staff and the driest ever sushi. Took the spicy box and it was just terrible. First time EVER I left sushi uneaten. This place should consider seriously if they really want to continue. At least I’m not coming back. 19,- euro for a fairly small box can be ok if good but this is worth 0. Sorry really poor. Bo Harbeck

Chegamos no início da noite e ficaríamos hospedados próximos ao aeroporto. Para não ter que ir ao centro de Hamburgo, resolvemos comer nesse restaurante. Opções variadas e preço justo. Ambiente de aeroporto (ou seja, nada muito elegante ou privativo) mas serviu bem. Recomendo para um almoço ou jantar rápidos.

Sushi y Sashimi sin grandes alardes pero bien de calidad. El servicio bien y muy buen detalle el obsequio de sopa de miso. Recomendable. Eso si... precio de aeropuerto...

Wenn wir Sushi 🍣 essen dann dort . So ein leckeres und frisches Sushi haben wir bis jetzt noch nicht gehabt . Wir haben beim letzten Mal eine Suppe bekommen , keine Ahnung wie die heißt aber die war lecker 😋. Sonntag sind wir wieder bei euch 🤩😋.

Mangels an Alternativen besuchte ich Sashimi Sushi. Geschmacklich unterer Durchschnitt. Das Service war ok. (wobei erwähnt werden muss, dass zwei bzw. drei verschiedene Mitarbeiter waren - von freundlich-bemüht bis neutral-gleichgültig). Beim nächsten Mal besser noch in der Stadt Essen gehen!

Had a short wait to pick up friends at Hamburg Airport. Felt peckish and daw this Sashimi/Sushi Bar. The service was efficient friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Highly recommend this place

I love sushi. Had eaten at other Sashimi outlets before, but this one was terrible. Unsmiling staff. The miso soup resembled some lukewarm washing water and tasted no better. The mixed sushi/sashimi platter was... Not to eat. Not fresh. A bit smelly. The waitress just raised her eyebrows but did not ask or offer a reduction when I gave it back after tasting. Sadly not to recommend. It was fast, therefore 1 point.

Missed my flight, need to sit down and relax and eat something. Wasn't in the mood for Japanese sashimi but for Asian food, so I am not ordering their signature items. The beer is not cold enough, the glass is all wrong, but we'll let that go. I needed the alcohol to calm my nerves down. It was a disasterous morning with the Schnell-Bahn. The soup looked delicious and tasted as much. Excellent. I suspect it's properly Thai. The problem is with the eel sushi. Usually our favorite sushi filling, since the rest of the family isn't into raw fish which I don't mind, just not on a chilly wet HH morning. Both the flavor and the text weren't quite right, can't tell what it is, but bad enough that I didn't feel like finishing it. When you prefer the marinated ginger to the sushi, something isn't right.

This place is between the parking area and the security checks at Hamburg airport. It feels like a normal Sushi bar - not your normal quasi-stressed help yourself cafe that you tend to find at airports. You can order as little or as much as you want. Nice atmosphere and friendly smiling service. It's worth leaving Hamburg for!

I wanted to earbud the restaurant - nobody front he service staff did greet or recognize me. Only 3 people were in the restaurant. The staff did talk about private issues - after 20 mins I left the restaurant disappointed and told them that it would be great to have the chance to order something Mind that restaurant if u want keep your good mood!

Bad bad bad super bad ! Don't go there if jou want to stay healthy during your trip and holiday. Sushi as well as the service were below all measures.
