I'm a second-generation customer—my parents brought us here back in the '90s. The owner is a wonderful woman, always friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the rest of the team, especially the man at her side. The waitresses (the women) often seem annoyed and unfriendly—you're almost afraid to order more. It's a real shame, because the restaurant actually has a lot of tradition and potential.

Damn rude service, meaningless burger... and way too expensive

You are asked to sit down and your order is discarded even though you have already paid. You have to protest vigorously with a receipt to be served.

Staff don't know what's on their burgers. Question: What sauces are on the burgers? Answer: Ketchup. I got a burger with mayo. At the first complaint, they simply omit the lettuce and tomato, as originally ordered! Punish the guest with this out of dissatisfaction with their own mistakes? Even after the second complaint, the staff can't fulfill the order as requested. Unfriendly! I should make the order myself! I should order correctly! No recognition of their own mistakes! The sneer at the farewell: "Goodbye!" The worst staff I've ever experienced. A disaster! Blaming the guest! Completely unfit, both humanly and professionally, to run a restaurant!

It doesn't taste good there, everything is pretty dirty. I paid for my order and threw it away on the way home.

Everyone at the sales desk is friendly but when you complain they pull a face I don't understand why the quality of the food at Kochlöffel has really gone downhill I think it's a shame because we always liked going to Marstall after a while we wanted to eat at Kochlöffel and ordered two 1/2 chicken dishes one was very well cooked the other unfortunately not I have had a kidney transplant and wouldn't risk something like that when I showed it to them they told me it was cooked through even though you could see the color difference and you can tell from the taste too I was told that the manager would look into it and I didn't get any feedback afterwards I was given a new one which unfortunately wasn't any better unfortunately I didn't eat half of it

On a Saturday when there is a lot going on, acquaintances and friends are given priority without queuing. After I pointed out that this was unfair to the people lining up, I was verbally attacked not only by this clerk but also by the manager instead of them apologizing. If the lady who owns the store was there, this wouldn't have happened. The employees are miserable. Shameful for the store.

Ordered 2 boxes - in one box the burgers were completely forgotten, in the other box (veggie) the fries were completely unsalted & unseasoned, the sauce was forgotten and there were spring rolls instead of nuggets (in which world do you eat burgers? spring rolls???). Staff was very unfriendly and annoyed. Food was comparable to McDonalds. 1 time and never again.

They ripped me off, told me the wrong price and paid the next day it was cheaper, upon request the price was always that way, so be careful

We had vouchers: 1/2 chicken with fries €6.99! Ketchup costs €0.50 extra. The chicken tasted perfect and the fries were freshly prepared. The tables could be cleaner. Otherwise, you can sit here very well for a snack. The air is not so stale because the room is large. Nobody is going at any speed and you can stay seated a little longer. The staff are friendly and correct. Update March 28th 2024 1/2 chicken and fries with a Pepsi = €11.50. A good price, crispy chicken, perfectly fried fries, ketchup (included today) and a hot sauce to try. Perfect ! The employee was also very, very friendly! Thanks !

Very, very unfriendly staff. Food wasn't that good either. It's not worth it, you'd rather go to McDonald's

Fast service. Good little burgers for in between meals.

NEVER AGAIN! OHJE🤮 The burgers are prepared on a dirty counter! The burger fell completely into a gap and was STILL GIVEN TO THE CUSTOMER.🤢 Then it was our burger's turn and we had already paid, so we didn't want to throw the food away - BUT WE REGRETTED IT! We felt so bad afterwards! The cola is completely just water, no more carbon dioxide! Sprite wasn't a sprite! By mistake they gave us 4 menus - instead of 2 menus and 2 additional burgers & we still had to pay! 44€ people!!😵‍💫 The food was so disgusting that we had to give it back😵‍💫😮‍💨🤢 We're still sick from it. 🫠😮‍💨🤮

Inflexible when it comes to the menu, hamburger menu with chicken citizens wanted. Answer "No, that's not possible" really customer desire flexibility really zero.....

Terrible!! It takes courage to say it cick🤦🏻‍♂️. Six people work... and the quality is poor. I would have given zero stars, but unfortunately that's not possible 🙈🙈

When it comes to “chicken and co.” I was already a fan in the “old Marstall”!!! During the renovation I had withdrawal symptoms and went to the K-Löffel in Esslingen. They were also good, but the pinch of “boss” was missing the spice.

Ate here today with the gourmet block - i.e. one portion was free. The fries are good. The burgers are reminiscent of an old version of the golden M and were ok ;) We were hungry again pretty quickly. Somehow you didn't have anything in your stomach even though you were full for a moment... I don't think we'll try burgers here again.

Ich habe da letztens ein Burgermenü geholt. Naja schmeckt halt wie gutes Fastfood. Wenn man Hunger hat kann man da essen.

Die nette Dame hat am Samstag unseren Abend gerettet. Nachdem wir nebenan schon um 19.30 nichts mehr zu Essen bekommen hatten (da ja noch geputzt werden muss), war an diesem Tag Kochlöffel eigentlich unsere 2. Wahl. Hier bekommt man auch wärend der gesamten Öffnungszeiten etwas zu essen, obwohl hier wohl auch geputzt werden muss.. Schön das sich hier an dir angegebenen Öffnungszeiten gehalten wird. Die nette Dame die an diesem Tag gearbeitet hat war super freundlich und hat uns sogar eine Curry Wurst die schon ein wenig länger fertig war geschenkt!! Sie war super freundlich und das Essen war super lecker!!! Somit war zum Glück auch die Laune unserer beiden Kinder wieder super. :-) Beim nächsten Mal wird Kochlöffel die erste Wahl sein!

An sich ganz okey,um Mal schnell was zu essen. Pommes sind hier sehr gut, Hamburger, Cheeseburger naja,schmeckt wie von gestern Mitarbeiter sind ganz nett aber es geht besser Mein Sohn und ich waren heute in der Filiale erneut, leider muss irgendwas mit dem Cheeseburger gewesen sei ,denn er hat sich davon übergeben müssen.....unteranderem würde mir eine Pepsi MAXX eingeben statt eine normale Pepsi wie verlangt,nach der Anfrage hin, versicherte man mir es wäre normale Pepsi.

Hab schon so oft hier mit Familie gegessen. Immer war das Essen super lecker, frisch zubereitet und extra nett serviert! Preis Leistung geht voll in Ordnung! Einfach alles top👍

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen schmeckt lecker und die Pommes sind auch sehr lecker und hamburger.

Super nettes Team und eine ganz liebe Bedienung. Die Pommes schmecken richtig lecker und sind toll gewürzt! Die Nuggets sind knusprig und richtig gut! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Schnelle und nette Bedienung. Das Essen ist "gutes" Fastfood. Kontaktlose Bezahlung ist möglich.

Essen ist ganz okay, aber die Mitarbeiter arbeiten alle ohne Maske und sind alle extrem unfreundlich.

Einfach gut. Wie in der Kindheit

Cheeseburger und Pommes waren sehr schlecht. Chicken burger war OK aber nicht gut. Mirinda war viel zu stark (süß) gemischt. Der älteren Dame die uns bedient hat, hat man deutlich angemerkt dass sie keine Lust auf Ihre Job hat. Es geht sicherlich auch NOCH schlechter aber ich werde definitiv nicht mehr dort essen.

Sehr freundliches Team, das Essen ist für den Hunger zwischendurch perfekt. Und von den Burgern kann sich selbst Mac D. und Burger King ne Scheibe abschneiden. Top😎👍

Frisch zubereitet, lecker und preiswert, so kenne ich Kochlöffel seit über 14 Jahren damals noch im Karstadt Gebäude, heute Marstall.Die Besitzerin immer freundlich und kundenorientiert,schnelle Bedienung und freundliches Wort lassen das Essen genießen.

Seit meiner Kindheit beste essen und sehr gute Personal. Aber ab heute boykottiere ich. Wie die Verkäuferin sagt wir können nichts wenn keine Abstände gehalten werden. Dann halte ich eben abstand auf ewig oder bis ihr eine Lösung habt. Heute wurde ich und ein anderer kunde zur unrecht von einer dicken Hunger erfüllten Dame beleidigt beschuldigt und angegriffen. Im center habe ich mich beschwert. Und habe auch das Ordnungsamt informiert.
