Knossos Palast in Potsdam

High prices, very limited food selection (!), no small salad with the meal (!), no ouzo with the meal, high drink prices, slow service – what more can you say? Never again. Probably geared towards tourists...

The Argentinian rump steak, priced at just under €30, was definitely not as advertised! Dry, despite being cooked medium, with far too pale meat and no "famous" fat cap. When I inquired about it, I was told it wasn't a filet mignon, hence the lack of color. I understand that prices fluctuate, but the value for money should also be there. Rather disappointing!

Incredibly delicious burgers, and the others said they also found the Greek cuisine fabulous! The service was really friendly and competent. We now happily come back for every family occasion, because Dad says so, but especially because they have such a wide selection that we can please everyone.

A truly beautiful Christmas atmosphere! The decorations, the warm lighting, and the cozy ambiance make a visit to Theo & Logos restaurant something truly special. The service is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick – you feel welcome from the very first moment. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. Every bite is reminiscent of a holiday in Crete or Greece – fresh, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. You can tell that the food is cooked with love. For me, it's a clear five stars! A place you'll always want to return to.

Good food, but disappointing value for money and service issues. We visited Theo Logos at the end of November with a family celebration of nine people. The food itself was tasty and we all enjoyed it. However, unlike what we're used to from Greek restaurants, there was neither bread nor a small side salad to start, which we missed and made the value for money seem less than ideal. The service left a lot to be desired; it seemed inattentive, which was especially noticeable with a larger group. We felt the visit was too expensive for what we got. The biggest problem came at the end: there was a major issue with the bill, as some items were charged twice. This caused unnecessary delays and frustration when paying. The food was good, but the overall impression was significantly diminished by the mediocre service and, above all, the overpriced bill.

The service was great, the food delicious, just a bit more expensive than I'm used to. But that's Potsdam for you. Just a small note for all visitors. Today, a week later, I received a letter from a parking enforcement company. The parking lot next door belongs to NP. Apparently, it's written at the entrance. I didn't see it (no idea how big or small it is, I'll just make up my own mind). The letter said I automatically agreed to the terms of service upon entering, etc. We were there for a full 2.5 hours instead of 2, and suddenly it cost us 40 euros. So be careful.

We have been regulars at this restaurant for many years. We have witnessed many changes. We weathered the pandemic together. We experienced renovations, refurbishments, and modernizations during the pandemic. The result is great. The owner has also changed several times. Unfortunately, so have the prices. Souvlaki with rice noodles: €16.50, €18.50, and today €23.00. Drinks: 1 apple spritzer (0.3 l): €4.80 At €16.50, a salad plate was included in the price. Today, at €23.00, the menu states that you can order and pay for an additional salad plate for €4. When the staff is confronted about these exorbitant prices, it's astonishing what stories they come up with to defend themselves. When confronted about the prices, the staff's feigned friendliness completely disappears. Hair-raising attempts, Rent and lease Good location near the city. Yesterday I was told they had already lowered their prices. Knossos already had exorbitant prices. Knossos is now called THEO & LOGOS. With the name change, the prices went up. We decided, never again!!!!!!! Friends gave us a €70 voucher for my 70th birthday. At these prices, reaching €70 was no problem. Never again has now become one last time. I pointed out the exorbitant prices, and the staff lost their friendliness. What would have happened if I had complained? Would I have been kicked out? In short, I know many, many Greek restaurants, Potsdam, Berlin, and in Hachenburg, Westerwald. For 35 years I was a beer delivery driver at the brewery. I can form my own opinion on this. If the operator reads these lines, it would be good so that he should reconsider his pricing concept.

When it was still called Knossos, the restaurant wasn't that great, but now with a new name, new ambiance and new menu it's simply amazing!!

It was my first, but certainly not my last, visit to Theo and Logos...very delicious food, especially not just the usual Greek grills, but typical Greek cuisine, very good, attentive service in a lovely atmosphere...I'd gladly go back!

Even though there's a construction site, you can still visit the restaurant in the large dining room and enjoy the perfect atmosphere. Highly recommended. Keep it up, Theo & Logos👍💪💪💪

Here, we had a baked gyro pan. The sauce, however, was excellent straight from the packet, and the fries were barely thawed: €24.60. A 0.5-liter beer costs €6, and there was no free ouzo. Cash only, as there's no internet connection. Conclusion: far too expensive for the Potsdam suburbs. Target audience: foreign tourists who aren't too conscious of prices. Be careful.

A truly fantastic Greek restaurant! Both the terrace and the interior are very tastefully and exquisitely decorated – you immediately feel at home. The dishes are beautifully presented and the food tastes simply wonderful. The gyro with rosemary potatoes is particularly recommended – a real treat! In the back, there's an impressive hall with an impressive ceiling height – perfect for parties of up to 120 people. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. A definite recommendation! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

According to the menu, I ordered lamb with rosemary potatoes and onions. I expected exactly that. I got a small leg of lamb with what felt like 30 pearl onions and 1-2 potatoes. I wasn't full afterward. I also thought they were onion rings, not those sweet whole onions. The ratio of potatoes to onions wasn't right. When we told the manager, she said, "Yes, that's typical Greek with the onions. You have to know that." And that the menu says they're spring onions. But that's not what it says. It just said onions. I then said I wasn't full and would order dessert. After waiting 20 minutes, I was fed up, and we asked for the bill. Luckily, they then brought us a small dessert on the house. The meal I had tasted okay, but not enough. For 30 euros, I'd like to be full. The 0.3l drink (spritzer) costs around €5. Disproportionately expensive, and the service could be improved.

A disaster for a restaurant of this type. The wine was served with six fruit flies, and at the end, they tried to double-charge the bill. Unfortunately, the prices were too high, and they didn't even offer a standard salad like at any other Greek restaurant. After our second visit, this will be the last time. We'd rather spend our money on other restaurants ✌️

This place is unbelievable. We recently ate there. The food tasted absolutely excellent, but the rest is forgettable. Cash only, you don't get a receipt, and you don't even get a reason when you ask. Card payments aren't accepted there. Money laundering? Fraud? Tax evasion? That would be a case of rip-off! Beware! Stay away from this place. There aren't even any prices listed on the menu. One example is the drinks section. It just lists the drink, and that's it. There are no sizes like 0.4l or 0.3l, and there's no price either. This place really needs to work on that!

We happened to be here around 3:00 PM on September 14, 2025, after visiting Sanssoucci. Courteous service. We sat outside (street and smoking area), and the interior was very tastefully decorated. Good selection and very tasty. Pictured is the Aegean Salad (seasonal salad with saganaki and lamb skewers). We'd be happy to come back 👍🏻

We've been here for the first time in a while. The food was excellent as always. Prices were a bit on the high side. Unfortunately, the main course was brought to our table even though we hadn't finished the starter. The staff didn't even offer any apologies. Therefore, only 2 stars for service.

Unfortunately I have to write something about it today because I am disappointed, very disappointed. It used to be a great restaurant with wonderful staff. But that was once upon a time. The best are gone and you could tell with every visit. The prices are rising and rising, but the plate is getting emptier and emptier. The quality is no longer great. You have to pay extra for everything, the salad that used to be a welcome gift now costs 4.50. We have been regular customers for years, but today was the last time. It is my husband's birthday today and even that, although I mentioned it, is no longer important. The ouzo beforehand, in the middle of the meal or after, is no longer available either. The food came out wrong, it was our fault. No, it's over now. We simply don't like anything anymore and that's a shame. There's nothing more to say, except that a smile never hurts! A tip for all the staff.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was apparently newly remodeled and therefore appealing. The service was non-verbal and therefore seemed rather indifferent. The food was mediocre, with a salad containing huge chunks of cucumber and a tasteless dressing. The lamb with the salad was good. The drinks were overpriced for my taste. There was no ouzo on the house, as mentioned in other reviews. I wouldn't go back.

We found ourselves stranded at the Knossos restaurant at lunchtime on the weekend and were very disappointed. We used to go there often, but that won't be the case anymore. The food was good, as always—nothing extraordinary, but the flavor was good. The service left a lot to be desired; "bored and ignorant," we'd say. But the prices were outrageous; an Aperol (€9.90) was. There used to be a time when they offered ouzo and salad first, but that was discontinued, but you could still dig deep into your pockets for a standard meal at €25-30. This is the last time we've been here.

We had dinner there yesterday and were very disappointed. We used to go there often and enjoyed it, but that will no longer be the case. The food was good as always, nothing extraordinary, but tasty. The service left a lot to be desired; I would say "friendly and annoyed". What was outrageous, however, were the prices. The ouzo and salad as a starter had already been completely removed, but you still had to dig deep into your pockets for a normal meal at €25-30 (although the portions used to be larger). The bread for the salad was not brought. We couldn't even get a children's menu for our 12-year-old. We won't be back anytime soon. It's a real shame.

We went there as a family for dinner. Our orders were taken quickly. Drinks were served promptly. During the meal itself, one guest was completely forgotten, and after this mishap, the wrong food was brought. It took a while to convince the waitress where the mistake was. Finally, the correct food arrived. The main course wasn't that great overall. The liver was dry, and the fish dish was missing its sauce. It's a shame, really.

Personally, I find it rather expensive, but you also need decent staff, and that costs money. While it was tasty (very good, in fact), I'd rather go to other restaurants again because of the value for money.

Very good atmosphere, but the food was an absolute disaster. Garlic bread was boring and the gyro with Metaxa was inedible. Just fat and gristle. Completely tasteless. No spices, salt, etc. There was no salad either! Not appropriate for such an (expensive) restaurant. We only got our cutlery upon request.

A very pleasant quiet place on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is very extensive and what we found to be extremely positive was that small portions of almost all dishes could be ordered. This meant we didn't have an overflowing plate, but we were able to eat everything without almost bursting or throwing food away. The food was very tasty, typically Greek. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. The toilets, accessible via stairs, were very clean and smelled very pleasant.

It was a wonderful evening with delicious food such as ouzo and perfect service. Absolute recommendation full marks. See you again

The gyro was juicy and crispy at the same time. The tzatziki was a dream and there were not the usual fries but Greek noodles or garlic or rosemary potatoes. My husband had lamb baked with cheese - perfect. The service was super nice, quick and attentive. Highly recommended (and I don't actually like going out for Greek food).

We have often enjoyed dinner here after excursions. A great restaurant with staff who really make an effort to make you feel good. 🙂 What we have of course noticed are the price increases, which are considerable compared to other restaurants, but certainly not an unusual phenomenon in the suburbs of Berlin. 😉 We will definitely come back and it will remain a permanent stop for us.
