Portions were relatively small, giving the impression of being expensive. The waiter could have shown more empathy. Restaurant itself very cozy. Greek music can be played quietly.

Good food, nice ambience. There is also ouzu. Very large selection of dishes. Price-performance ratio is on the worse side. I had the salmon fillet. Unfortunately, it took 10 minutes to process the payment and we were only able to pay after asking several times.

The food is very tasty. Unfortunately the food has become very expensive. Even the small salad that you previously received as a small gift from the house now costs €3.50.

We were there on the evening of October 19th for the first and last time. The restaurant wasn't even half full and there were a lot of waiters to be seen. I liked the food, but my partner didn't and when we wanted to order espresso, we were full We had to wait 25 minutes until someone saw us. We waved and shouted the whole time, but all the waiters just looked down as if they were afraid of an order. An older waiter saw us but immediately showed that he was in with a plate the kitchen has to. After 25 minutes we didn't want to order anything and we were "lucky" that a waiter finally saw us. We paid and left quickly. In short, a bad experience in this restaurant. And we need that not again.

Excellent food, ambience is really nice.

The restaurant has just been renovated and makes a classy and cozy impression. The service initially left something to be desired. We weren't seated and were told to choose a seat, which the waiter didn't agree with. The service got better during the stay, but you didn't feel really taken care of by the taciturn waiter. Well, maybe had a bad day. The food was very tasty, but also expensive for a Greek. The ambience invites you to linger. We were here for four and a half hours in a group of men. Gladly again!

Prices have risen sharply and the delicious starter salad before the meal is no longer available. But the food itself still tastes good.

Excellent food and the ambience is also great and you can sit outside as well as inside. We had a starter for two people which was delicious and beautifully presented. I alone was a bit disappointed by the quantity of the grilled plate as I like to eat a little more and it was a bit too little for me for the price and I wouldn't have been full just from that plate but the appetizer with it was enough. I would love to come to you again and again. Keep it up

Always a pleasure to visit, the food is great, until today it was reduced to "mass processing" with "grumpy" waiters. I no longer take my guests there. Too bad!

The service, our dishes and the ambience were really good. Unfortunately only 3 stars because the price-performance ratio is not right. We have eaten better or just as well at other Greek restaurants in Germany for less money.

We rode our bikes and sat outside. The restaurant can't do anything about the noise on a federal highway. The service was friendly, the order was quick and everything tasted great. Come again.

5 Stars more than deserved:) I would highly recommend this place as it offers excellent food and a great service. If you are visiting Sansucci Palace or Potsdam this is the place to go. We have tried several greek restaurants in Berlin and Brandenburg, but never have eaten like here. We had grilled calamari, fish filet, and traditional greek gyro. All were very nice cooked and served. Overall atmosphere was great and we enjoyed a really good Sunday lunch with our family.

An inconspicuous restaurant from the outside, but even cozier inside. The large hall in particular is beautifully furnished. Food was very good and tasty, I had gyros with garlic potatoes. 😋 The service was a bit taciturn and not particularly friendly, something you don't know from a Greek restaurant and it costs one star. But everything was clean and tidy, so I still recommend it.

Unfortunately the gyros were burnt and the fried potatoes were extremely dry. Disappointment with the prices.

A really good restaurant that reflects Greek cuisine. Well seasoned and served very decoratively. The waiter always keeps an eye on what is going on at the table and for the next course. The covered area has a chic ambience. Greek politeness is very pronounced here.

Food was very tasty and neatly portioned. However, prices are pretty steep, whether it's a starter, main course or drinks. You have to be prepared for that. The staff is friendly and attentive. Furnishings, toilets, everything is chic and clean! BUT BEWARE RIP-OFF: The ouzo, which they regularly give you without being asked and friendly, as well as the bread and tzatziki will end up on the bill without comment. So it's not served on the house like before, as you would expect from a good Greek. You are also not informed or advised of the extra price beforehand. I personally think it's a scam and an absolute rip-off!!! Therefore 2 stars for the service, which otherwise did a good job. But that goes beyond the scope for me and I'm very upset! So don't just sell the ouzo and assume that it's free. Better to ask or refuse!

Delicious food and modern atmosphere. Unfortunately on the road but that works quite well. Unfortunately, salad is no longer available with meals, which is a shame. But the quality of the food is very good. The service was attentive and always checked to see if anything was missing or if we still had any requests.

The Knossos Palace restaurant offers very tasty food in a beautifully furnished, modern and new atmosphere. The service is nice and attentive. A small drawback is the parking situation: the parking lot is opposite a busy street, which requires a detour at peak times as it is almost impossible to get directly across the street. Given the prices, we would have expected a side salad with the meal, as in our opinion this is a given. There is also room for improvement when it comes to clearing the plates - it would be desirable for the staff to do this themselves instead of having the plates handed to them by the guest. Despite these minor points of criticism, these are complaints at a high level. The restaurant is definitely recommended!

Delicious food and large portions. Unfortunately a bit more expensive. Ouzo is always served. You could also change a child's diaper, but not in the toilets. When we paid we had the feeling that we hadn't tipped enough. The atmosphere is chic. Unfortunately located directly on a main road. There are parking spaces directly opposite. Don't park at Norma's! You can pay by card here.

Family visit with five people. The ambience itself is successful. Cleanliness in the guest room and toilet rooms is very good. Unfortunately, the restaurant is located directly on Potsdam's northern arterial road, so there is still a lot of street noise in the evening hours. The prices here are already in the upper segment and the portions are decent. Garlic bread is a bit small, but deliciously prepared. The fact that with the main courses (between 22 and 25 euros) a salad is only served for an additional charge (3.90 euros) is rather unusual for me. So without starters/salad and one or two drinks you're already between 30 and 40 euros per person. Unfortunately, the garlic potatoes were stacked and then the garlic/oil mix was spread over them. The top potatoes were plentiful, the bottom ones didn't get much of the mix. And the service: Mediterranean hospitality feels different to me. The staff seems friendly but reserved. A little more attention to the guests' glasses (one was already empty when the main courses were served) would be good. When the third person finished his glass right in front of the waiter, nothing happened either. A new order was only taken when called. There was also ouzo as a welcome and with the bill. All in all recommended, but hospitality, service and therefore also value for money can be found better elsewhere. Overall it was OK, but it didn't blow you away.

Unfortunately, our stay at Knossos Palace was not at all satisfactory. The "service" was subpar. Walk-in customers like us were obviously just a nuisance here. Regular guests were openly preferred, but we had to wait forever for everything. This started with the menu and continued through to the bill. The usual Greek ouzo was also reserved for regular guests.

While passing through Potsdam on our way back from vacation we stopped at the Knossos Palace - just one word: fabulous!!!! Don't hesitate, the service is top notch, the dishes are very generous and of exceptional quality. An unforgettable evening. Efcharistó to the whole team!

Has doubled its prices in 5 years. Minced meatballs with feta cheese and garlic potatoes approx. 24 euros but there is no salad anymore. But luckily there are other shops.

Tonight we had dinner at Knossos Palast with a group of 6 adults and 7 children. Very friendly staff and delicious food, good atmosphere in the restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious meal without the feeling of being looked away, and the bill was also not too bad. If you are looking for a good restaurant when you are in Potsdam, this is definitely recommended.

Ate there last night with 4 people, you could choose your own table. The food was very plentiful and the price was reasonable. The staff very friendly and service oriented. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'll definitely be back soon.👍

We wanted to try it, unfortunately we were very disappointed, it was terribly loud (car traffic), I felt like I was on a motorway. And the service was moderately attentive. And then the EC device was defective (all clear). And I was horrified at the prices; I could have inquired beforehand. I thought this wasn't the center with an A location. And finally, no receipt (receipt). The one star because I can't recommend it and don't want to eat here anymore.

Disappointing! Prices extremely high. Food so-so. No more Greek hospitality. During the payment process, the card reader suddenly broke. No information, no sign! You were forced to pay in cash and directed to the ATM around the corner. Very bad! We won't be coming back again.

Good, but now overpriced food We are long-time visitors to Knossos Palace. We are certainly not there every month, but half a dozen may meet annually. We like the food, it's cozy, you feel welcome. The Knossos Palace is not located in the so-called heart of the city, but in Bornim, directly on the B273 to the north. So I could imagine that the clientele is made up of residents of the Bornstedt, Bornim, Eiche and Golm districts, as well as their guests. What I mean is that tourists may find their way to other Greek locations. Nevertheless, the Knossos Palace is well attended; on Friday and Saturday evenings it is advisable to make a reservation. The restaurant offers space for many guests, but you can always be on the safe side by making a reservation. Parking is possible in the unpaved open space opposite or at “Norma”. When it comes to ambience, taste and cleanliness, we give us a clear recommendation. Unfortunately, when it comes to service, the guest is not always there to look out for. In terms of price, the Knossos Palace could definitely be ahead when it comes to the Greek restaurants in Potsdam. In my opinion, prices have now reached a level that I consider worrying. Of course, operating costs have increased, and the same applies to rents for private and commercial spaces, as the Greek hosts do not own the property. Last but not least, employees want and should be paid properly. Despite all this, we believe that our personal pain threshold will soon be reached and we could imagine that other regular guests feel the same way. The front patio area was recently remodeled. The glazing now offers even better protection towards the street; the B273 is still busy in the evenings. So now we returned, knowing full well that the last “renovation/modernization” would also be reflected in the price. We should be right. A new menu, which we consider to be unsuccessful, is often an indication of a change in pricing. Unfortunately, the Knossos Palace has now also cut out the salad that was served before the main course. Another sentence about the card: The format is quite large, and you can quickly get into trouble with the person next to you. But, like every review, this is a personal opinion. We would like to stay with you as a guest, but you don't make it easy for us.

After my short visit to the Charité, I went straight to Potsdam. Unfortunately he wasn't open until 12 p.m. and we had to stretch our legs a bit. After the renovation we sat outside in nice weather 😊 Disadvantage: It's right on the main street, so you couldn't really have a conversation. Advantage: It is also very nicely and comfortably furnished inside. We'll sit there next time 😊

Very good food. Unfortunately, 3 stars only because some waiters here stroke small children on the head or arms as a joke. But for many children this is no fun! Children have the right to be treated like adults, and as far as I know, people don't pet strangers just for fun!!

Everything was delicious! The staff was professional and very nice. The service was attentive and friendly. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately, price-performance is hardly justified. Smaller portions when prices are raised. The older waiter was disinterested, rude, grumpy and unfriendly. You felt annoying and unwelcome. Drinks were forgotten and in the end there was more on the bill than was consumed.

We were at Knossos as a family on Sunday around 2:30 p.m. The waitress was rude and the food wasn't good. From 1-10 that would be a 1-. And anyone who goes out to eat has no taste buds. The waitress was obviously making fun of us, which is not possible. #incrediblycheeky

Sicher wir hatten nicht reserviert, aber trotz anderer freier Tische einen kleinen Tisch in der Mitte…nicht besonders gastlich. Nach einer Stunde musste ich an unsere Bestellung erinnern. Man hatte uns vergessen. Keine Entschuldigung…Nix. Für uns eigentlich nicht akzeptabel bei diesem Preis. Wir werden uns jedenfalls nicht zu oft sehen, auch wenn das Essen in Ordnung war.

After a few years we went to Knossos again and were unfortunately a bit disappointed because not only were the prices increased, but the portions were also reduced. Although the food was really delicious, the price was right Unfortunately it didn't perform at all this time - it's a shame!

We have enjoyed being guests here again and again for many years. The ambience exudes a certain Mediterranean atmosphere. The food is absolutely authentic, hot and cleanly prepared. The staff was very nice, attentive and yet not pushy. Everything fits together wonderfully here. A clockwork that runs. After the last renovation, it's even better and even more comfortable. We recently visited this restaurant and have to say we are very disappointed. The food was undoubtedly good. However, the positive impression was completely destroyed by the extremely unfriendly boss. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted rudely and it almost seemed as if guests were more of a burden than welcome. Unfortunately, despite the good food, I cannot recommend this restaurant. A visit to a restaurant should be a pleasant experience where you feel welcome - unfortunately that was absolutely not the case here.

Wir haben ohne Reservierung sofort draußen einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war lecker. Preis/Leistung passt leider nicht mehr. Der Beilagensalat wurde weggespart und 3 Tupfer Dips mit 3 kleinen Scheiben Baguette kosten 11 Euro. Der Service? Leidenschaftslos. Desinteressiert am Gast, teilweise überheblich, kein Lächeln. Obwohl Öffnungszeit bis 23 Uhr wurde ab 21.30 gedrängelt uns loszuwerden. War früher begeistert, nun werde ich dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen oder empfehlen.

We got a table outside without a reservation. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, price/performance no longer fits. The side salad was omitted (apparently it wasn't eaten) and 3 dabs of dips with 3 small slices of baguette cost 11 euros. Having food packed to take away costs an extra 1.50 euros!!! The service? Dispassionate. Disinterested in the guest, sometimes arrogant, no smile. Even though it was open until 11 p.m., people started pushing us away from 9:30 p.m. I used to love it, but now I will no longer visit or recommend this restaurant.

Stopped here one evening on the occasion of our visit to Potsdam. You can easily get a place for 3 people without a reservation. The food was okay, but we no longer find a side salad at €4.50 on top of a calfskin at €26.50 funny.

We live in the south of Berlin and when we go to our bungalow in Päwesin, we like to drive via Potsdam to eat in this wonderful restaurant every now and then. Simply unique, great food, delicious dessert, the hefeweizen and the ouzo are also delicious . The whole atmosphere is a feast for the eyes. The sanitary facilities are also spacious and clean. The employees were also very friendly. We thank you for this lovely start to your holiday.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the taste, the quality, the quick service and the very pretty decor!

Restaurant nicely decorated, but we were very disappointed with the service and food. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and didn't change his face. The food is overpriced and unfortunately not worth the money. The meat (chicken) from the grill was very dry and not really edible. Even though we communicated this to the waiter, there was no apology or free espresso. We find a 0.75ml bottle of water for 7.90 euros and 3 slices of garlic bread for 5.90 euros very outrageous. No recommendation is possible from us. We are used to better Greek food.

If you would like a bottled beer for €5.90, please do. A Reziner (simple Greek wine) (0.5L) for €12. All in all, you can't go for less than €60 here. Then you can instead buy good goods and enjoy a Greek evening at home.

I have to correct myself from three to five stars. After the change of ownership everything has become a little more expensive but it's all manageable but the food has become so good and the menu has changed. The food looks good, everything is freshly cooked and it just tastes better than before. Keep it up The terrace facing the street in front turned out really great. Unfortunately I have to go back down to three stars after the renovation (2024) and everything has become even more expensive. Simply going out to eat if you don't feel like cooking is no longer the case. The salad 🥗 before the meal was cut out and the garnish on the plate so-so was nicer and more colorful. We won't go there as often anymore because there are other and better restaurants in the city center. Hardly a dish costs less than €20, which is really too expensive for what is on offer.

I've eaten here quite often because everything I've ordered is really delicious. Especially lamb with goat cheese, a poem. I'm always happy again and it really remains something special. Every time I and my girlfriend receive a very warm welcome and the service is always ready to fulfill your every wish. Short waiting times and the new renovation has really succeeded in creating comfort. Highly recommended. Lg.
