The food came quickly, was very good. The staff was nice, the atmosphere was cozy and the place was clean. What more could you want? Of course; parking area across the street.

We ate a burger there, which was delicious. Unfortunately, my request for a fried egg on top was not honored. The server was very nice and friendly.

We've been here for the first time in a while. The food was excellent as always. Prices were a bit on the high side. Unfortunately, the main course was brought to our table even though we hadn't finished the starter. The staff didn't even offer any apologies. Therefore, only 2 stars for service.

Unfortunately I have to write something about it today because I am disappointed, very disappointed. It used to be a great restaurant with wonderful staff. But that was once upon a time. The best are gone and you could tell with every visit. The prices are rising and rising, but the plate is getting emptier and emptier. The quality is no longer great. You have to pay extra for everything, the salad that used to be a welcome gift now costs 4.50. We have been regular customers for years, but today was the last time. It is my husband's birthday today and even that, although I mentioned it, is no longer important. The ouzo beforehand, in the middle of the meal or after, is no longer available either. The food came out wrong, it was our fault. No, it's over now. We simply don't like anything anymore and that's a shame. There's nothing more to say, except that a smile never hurts! A tip for all the staff.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was apparently newly remodeled and therefore appealing. The service was non-verbal and therefore seemed rather indifferent. The food was mediocre, with a salad containing huge chunks of cucumber and a tasteless dressing. The lamb with the salad was good. The drinks were overpriced for my taste. There was no ouzo on the house, as mentioned in other reviews. I wouldn't go back.

We found ourselves stranded at the Knossos restaurant at lunchtime on the weekend and were very disappointed. We used to go there often, but that won't be the case anymore. The food was good, as always—nothing extraordinary, but the flavor was good. The service left a lot to be desired; "bored and ignorant," we'd say. But the prices were outrageous; an Aperol (€9.90) was. There used to be a time when they offered ouzo and salad first, but that was discontinued, but you could still dig deep into your pockets for a standard meal at €25-30. This is the last time we've been here.

We had dinner there yesterday and were very disappointed. We used to go there often and enjoyed it, but that will no longer be the case. The food was good as always, nothing extraordinary, but tasty. The service left a lot to be desired; I would say "friendly and annoyed". What was outrageous, however, were the prices. The ouzo and salad as a starter had already been completely removed, but you still had to dig deep into your pockets for a normal meal at €25-30 (although the portions used to be larger). The bread for the salad was not brought. We couldn't even get a children's menu for our 12-year-old. We won't be back anytime soon. It's a real shame.

We went there as a family for dinner. Our orders were taken quickly. Drinks were served promptly. During the meal itself, one guest was completely forgotten, and after this mishap, the wrong food was brought. It took a while to convince the waitress where the mistake was. Finally, the correct food arrived. The main course wasn't that great overall. The liver was dry, and the fish dish was missing its sauce. It's a shame, really.

Personally, I find it rather expensive, but you also need decent staff, and that costs money. While it was tasty (very good, in fact), I'd rather go to other restaurants again because of the value for money.

Very good atmosphere, but the food was an absolute disaster. Garlic bread was boring and the gyro with Metaxa was inedible. Just fat and gristle. Completely tasteless. No spices, salt, etc. There was no salad either! Not appropriate for such an (expensive) restaurant. We only got our cutlery upon request.

A very pleasant quiet place on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is very extensive and what we found to be extremely positive was that small portions of almost all dishes could be ordered. This meant we didn't have an overflowing plate, but we were able to eat everything without almost bursting or throwing food away. The food was very tasty, typically Greek. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. The toilets, accessible via stairs, were very clean and smelled very pleasant.

Great ambience and nice to see what has been done with the house. Hasn't been there for decades. Attentive and extremely friendly service. Rich and tasty starter and also delicious grilled plates for the main course. But here only 4 points because, on the one hand, fried potatoes were served (rice noodles would have been nicer -> but you could certainly have ordered them as an alternative) and on the other hand, I was still missing that little piece of WOW. Solid and good Greek restaurant with decent food, great ambience and great service. Thanks for that...

The gyro was juicy and crispy at the same time. The tzatziki was a dream and there were not the usual fries but Greek noodles or garlic or rosemary potatoes. My husband had lamb baked with cheese - perfect. The service was super nice, quick and attentive. Highly recommended (and I don't actually like going out for Greek food).

We have often enjoyed dinner here after excursions. A great restaurant with staff who really make an effort to make you feel good. 🙂 What we have of course noticed are the price increases, which are considerable compared to other restaurants, but certainly not an unusual phenomenon in the suburbs of Berlin. 😉 We will definitely come back and it will remain a permanent stop for us.

5 stars – highly recommended! Knossos in Potsdam is a real highlight for everyone who loves Greek food! The atmosphere is super cozy and authentic, you immediately feel welcome. The service was attentive, friendly and quick – exactly what you would expect. The food was simply excellent: fresh, lovingly prepared and tasted great. The grill platter for two in particular was a real feast - everything was cooked to perfection and served with great side dishes. The starters were also delicious and traditional. Plus an ouzo on the house – the perfect way to round off the evening. Price-performance ratio is definitely right here. I would love to come back – a piece of Greece in Potsdam!

Service was top and they were attentive. The staff also had fun with our 10 month old Junior. In terms of space and atmosphere it was very beautiful there. High prices. I give the food a grade of 2. Overall, we were very satisfied.

I had the grill plate with garlic potatoes. Was delicious. The only small complaint was that the minced meat was a bit dry and therefore "crumbly". Service 2 stars, because the friendliness of the "food delivery person", well, wasn't that great and that at lunchtime 🫣😏. Regardless, not every day is the same. As I said, the food was delicious.

That's a really great Greek. You feel like you are on vacation in Greece. The boss and the entire staff are very friendly, almost familiar. It's a shame that they had to close Knossos again - because of Corona. I would like to thank you for all the beautiful evenings where we always went home happy and in a good mood. The food and the entire atmosphere are highly recommended. When it hopefully opens again, go here - you'll be amazed. Thank you - hang in there!!!

The food was really very good and the service very attentive.

After all the good reviews we went to Knossos today too. 21€ for a bit of gyros with a lot of onions, a little tzatziki and a lot of pressed garlic on the potatoes is not a good price-performance ratio, but a very lasting mouth experience in terms of garlic intensity. Still burping even though we avoided eating the pure garlic on the potatoes.

We used to eat here often, as the restaurant was within walking distance. Unfortunately, the service, and especially the friendliness, has suffered rapidly in recent years. The food has become increasingly scarce and expensive. There's also little sign of Greek hospitality left. The servers are very moody, perhaps even overwhelmed. You immediately notice when the place is full that you're just being served quickly. We've since moved to another Greek restaurant in the city center. It's a shame, really, because we used to really enjoy this place.

This place has become my favorite restaurant in potsdam! I love the friendly reception, excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Very nice atmosphere with pitfalls. Most of the fresh flowers distributed in the restaurant had dried up. Despite stating the reason for the visit, neither the table nor the staff were prepared. The Greek music was constantly playing at an intrusive volume. The fully automatic coffee machine at the counter disrupted our conversation several times with its loud grinder. Excellent food, for which the four of us had to wait 50 minutes. 2 main courses were served 10 minutes before the other two main courses - and without any side dishes. The restaurant's occupancy was very low with two more tables to be served and a few people picking up their own food. The staff present could not convey to us that we were welcome as guests. Nobody smiled there. A guest's refusal to ask for another drink ("drink?") meant that the other guests were no longer asked.

Nice staff, great food, no question. But prices have risen significantly over the last few years and portions have become smaller. As an alternative to other Greek restaurants, it's okay.

I'm really conflicted about this restaurant. We were there with a larger group (of course with a reservation). Drink orders were taken quickly, but it took a full 30 minutes to be served - and then some were missing or incorrect. The food orders were then taken, but nothing happened for two hours after that. Finally the starters and a main course arrived - although from a different table which ended up with us, which made the chaos perfect. A guest from another group then had to wait another whole 40 minutes for his food before he could finally eat. For us it also took that long again. The food itself was average, nothing special and a bit overpriced for my taste. The drink prices were also quite high. All in all, the visit was okay, but the waiters urgently need training in service.

The restaurant is ideally located in Potsdam Bornim. Hospitality is very important and you immediately feel at home. The menu is clearly laid out and the quality of the food is very good. I live 45 km away, but I already know that we will go there again for dinner.
