A cozy and traditional Greek restaurant with plenty of seating. The large restaurant has differently decorated and noisy areas. In the summer, there's a lovely terrace overlooking the pedestrian walkway. The food is good, as you'd expect from a large kitchen. The prices are fair. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were lukewarm and came straight from a bag. The souvlaki skewers and tzatziki were fresh and tasty. The ambiance is nice, but the service has become so slow and inattentive on repeat visits.

What I liked best was that there was a lunch menu with very good prices.

Last night, even though it was very busy, we still managed to get a table for five people. Everyone was super friendly. The food was incredibly delicious, the meat grilled to perfection, and the Metaxa sauce was truly delicious. The kids and we were thrilled. A great end to our vacation. 100% recommendation.

It's not so easy to eat real and excellent Greek food outside of Greece. It's the best Greek restaurant that I have been to. Bravo to everyone for the excellence and hospitality.

We ate here during a midweek vacation and received a warm welcome. The interior is comfortably furnished. The service staff were all very friendly, and even our requests for changes to the dishes (e.g., saganaki on leaf salad instead of arugula) were accommodated. The highlight was how quickly the food arrived. We'd be happy to return! 😊

The atmosphere and interior are top-notch. The restaurant is packed on Tuesday evenings. The garlic bread is definitely worth ordering. The bifteki was also very good. The rest of the food was pretty good (4/5 stars). I also ordered a Metaxa sauce (and only took a picture with Yazio). It's, as the Americans would say, "nothing to write home about." Yazio thought it was a tomato sauce, so it's more like 2-3 stars. The service was great. Fast, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a good to very good Greek restaurant. I must go again.

The beer glass wasn't filled to the mark. The portions were small. After the appetizer, I had to hold onto the cutlery. No replacement was provided. The price range was rather high. Beer €5.50, stewed gyros €19.50. The waiter was grumpy and wanted to charge more than ordered.

It was a lovely evening with delicious food and friendly service

We wanted Greek food to celebrate my birthday. There were two options to choose from. We stood in front of this one, wanting to eat outside, but all the seats were taken. The waiter lured us in with a false pretext. He said we'd sit inside first, and as soon as a space became available outside, he'd let us know. Even two hours later, he hadn't come. So we ate inside. Next to the bar, tucked away in the corner. It was dark. Sometimes the light in the hallway next door came on, giving us a bit of light. Through the blocked window, we saw the guests getting the free seats that weren't given to us. Prayers don't help. The food arrived: a fish platter, gyros. The gyros tasted like meat without tasting like gyros. Tzatziki helped. The fish didn't taste like anything. Tzatziki helped here, too. The carafe of wine helped us get over the evening. The next morning, only the odor of garlic reminded us of the abysmal service and the tasteless food. The waiter who served us inside made us feel like we'd gotten lost at the door. In the end, he was right. Next time, we'll go to the other Greek restaurant in Potsdam.

So, unfortunately, I can't understand the negative comments and reviews here. I spontaneously went to the restaurant with my partner on a Saturday afternoon today. We were able to choose a seat right away and were greeted and served very warmly. The food came quite quickly; we had to wait between the starter and main course until we were ready. The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant is typically Greek and not overly pretentious; the restrooms are very clean, and everything is very lovingly decorated. The food was incredibly delicious, the portions very generous, and there was nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back.

The wait was long, so the service lost one star. (40 minutes until the first drink.) My growing hunger dampened the mood at first. The food made up for it in the end. I had the filetto, pork fillet with spinach filling in Metaxa sauce, with fries. The Metaxa sauce was fantastic. 👌🏾 My partner had the terrible rump steak. It was spot on. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I also had meatballs in tomato and garlic sauce beforehand. GREAT!

The food was certainly good, but the service was very rude! I understand that it was very crowded and busy! But when we asked if we could sit at the free table, the answer was, "Yes, yes, you can, but it'll take two hours to eat!" A friendly approach would have been nice, too.

"Our" Greek restaurant when we're in Potsdam. Fortunately, this is our second visit this year. Always warm, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Typical Greek cuisine, and very tasty.

The food is so-so, lacking in flavor. The gyros was very stringy, garlic was missing, and the ouzo was watery and warm. The salad was served on warm plates and, inappropriately, with peas. The restaurant is quite nicely decorated, but the Greek music was somehow missing.

The food was delicious, as was the draft wheat beer. Highly recommended. The prices are quite high.

A friendly welcome, a great atmosphere, and a nice seat. Things got off to a good start. Service was prompt, and our orders were quickly on the table. Our starter, called Ouzo Therapy, looked appealing and was very convincing. However, there was no ouzo with it. Our high expectations were seriously dashed by the main course. My wife complained about unappetizing rosemary potatoes and dry, over-salted meat. I had the bakkaliko dish and wasn't impressed with the quality of the meat either. It was a shame, because otherwise we had a tremendous time. But the food is the main reason for visiting a restaurant.

What a disappointment! After an hour and a half of waiting, some of us finally got our food. A friend had to wait two hours and didn't get her food (first the wrong one was brought, then the fries were missing) until we were all finished. The food was very bad, unappetizing, and in some parts, indefinable. The service was carelessly presented and very unfriendly. My feta on arugula is visible in the photo. The tiny amount of lettuce was dried out, and there were two hairs in it. No ouzo, no smile, and a stomachache by the evening. Never experienced anything like it. Never again.

The restaurant makes a pleasant, inviting impression. We were a group of seven people and ordered food together. The first meals were served after about an hour and a half, and the last after almost two hours—and unfortunately, not even the right food! We had been to this restaurant three years ago and remembered the delicious dishes. Today, unfortunately, it was different: there was far too much garlic on our dishes. We removed thick layers of it to make it edible. Then a young man cleared our table, even though one person was still eating.

Everything was good, and anything that wasn't, was quickly corrected with a professional attitude. The food was authentic and fresh and we greatly enjoyed it. We drink much water and they provided us with tap water that was very good. Thank you for the great experience.

Excellent food and impeccable service! We were six people who sat down and were truly pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of the food (we had the burger with the special recipe with Metaxa sauce) but also by the hospitality of the children who own the restaurant. They deserve every success because it seems that they love what they do and do it with passion and very successfully. The place is beautiful and it was completed even more with our visit to their shop! Well done guys!

It was absolutely lovely. When I made the reservation, I had mentioned it was my birthday. As a surprise, there was a bouquet of flowers with Happy Birthday on the table, and to finish off, we had ice cream with sparklers. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was super friendly. We sat outside, and it's lovely there, but inside it has a really lovely, quaint Greek feel. Highly recommended; we'll be back.

Greek cuisine is decent, but the XXL kebabs aren't (200g, no more). The tadziki is good. I didn't like the grease stains on the tablecloths during the evening service. This can be fixed. The terrace is next to the street where very noisy vehicles pass. Small tables. It's a bit tight for four.

I came because of the 4.8-star reviews, but unfortunately, I had a completely different experience. The salad was lifeless, the fried potatoes bland, and only the bifteki were okay—but nothing more. The service also seemed rather disinterested and not particularly attentive. Overall, the value for money isn't right for me. I wouldn't come again.

The food was okay. The portions were decent, and the dishes tasted good, but without any real highlights. It was good, down-to-earth Greek cuisine that served its purpose, but unfortunately didn't go beyond that. The waiters seemed very disinterested, and the hospitality you'd expect from a restaurant visit, especially a Greek one. (e.g., no ouzo upon greeting or leaving.) Another thing that struck us was the very cramped seating. The tables were so close together that you had little privacy and felt disturbed by every move by the waiter or other guests. In summary: Solid Greek cuisine, but the service still needs to be improved.

After a 4.8 rating, we thought this Greek restaurant was the right choice. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We sat at a table with a stained tablecloth. The neighboring tables looked the same. The salad we ate was carelessly slapped down on the table. There was no bread with it. The main course was served the same way. The taste was rather mediocre to okay. We weren't even served ouzo after the meal. For a 4.8 rating, we were very disappointed. If we had known this beforehand, we would have chosen a different restaurant.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a particularly good experience. The chicken I ordered turned out to be pressed meat, and the mushroom sauce had hardly any mushrooms, but instead had peppers – rather unsuitable for me. The service was also rather inattentive: no one asked for drinks, no clearing. Overall, a bit disappointing. The sauce from the previous customer had left its mark on the tablecloth, and there were still breadcrumbs on the table. There's room for improvement in terms of service.

We sat on the street terrace. The tables were very close together. Two fewer would have been enough, and the staff would have moved on to the next customer without disturbing others while they were eating. The rosemary potatoes were either old or had been reheated for the 10th time—rubber with a black skin. The chicken schnitzel was grilled, but not fresh, rather frozen. The salad served was plain, with basil and olive oil on the table, after all. For me, that has nothing to do with Greek cuisine.

We had hoped for more based on the great reviews. The appetizer ("Kolokithakia Tiganita") was unfortunately very bland – lacking salt and seasoning. The main course ("Tou Bakali Pan") was also rather weak in flavor: good meat, but barely seasoned, the sauce lacked flavor, and the fries were forgettable. The calamari was okay, but could have used a bit more flavor. Pros: The service was friendly and quick. The price was reasonable (over €60 for two people), but the dining experience was unfortunately not convincing.

The atmosphere reflects a busy Mediterranean eatery rather than a restaurant, which is completely fine and cozy. I was alone and probably was not an interesting object for the waiters who did not help at all with any recommendations for the drinks or meals, demonstrating how annoyed they were with my question what can I eat if I am alone, would like veggies plus meat and not a big fan of pork. Google translate and reviews did instead, so I assumed that the tips go to Google. The food was average, nice pommes and salad, very average meat, I left most of it on the plate, though no one asked me if something is wrong.

A strange restaurant: We arrived on a Friday afternoon, looking forward to a pleasant time. Unfortunately, we were intercepted and severely restricted in our table selection, even though the restaurant was 70% empty. A warm welcome is not possible. We then went to Tomasa's and felt at home from the very first moment!

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant. The service was inattentive, disorganized and overall very disappointing. The dishes seemed carelessly prepared: the tzatziki tasted industrial and in no way homemade, the salad was put together without any finesse. The starter plate was soggy, poorly seasoned and more reminiscent of cafeteria fare than Greek cuisine. Even details such as damp (!) paper napkins contributed to the overall negative impression. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. If you want authentic Greek food, you should definitely choose another place.
