Gyros is very average, ham from the kinder menu is covered in oil. Only one person liked the chicken nauggets

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant. The service was inattentive, disorganized and overall very disappointing. The dishes seemed carelessly prepared: the tzatziki tasted industrial and in no way homemade, the salad was put together without any finesse. The starter plate was soggy, poorly seasoned and more reminiscent of cafeteria fare than Greek cuisine. Even details such as damp (!) paper napkins contributed to the overall negative impression. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. If you want authentic Greek food, you should definitely choose another place.

Very good food and friendly service

The food was very enjoyable, but the waiting times are catastrophic. We would have to wait almost an hour. As a guest I would therefore recommend it if you have the patience for it.

A slightly different Greek. You have written hospitality on your menu. Probably only applies to regular guests. We were greeted and served grumpily. Food was ok, but nothing special. For us, the previous assessment is incomprehensible.

Went there on two consecutive days. Very tasty food, great atmosphere, and an incredibly committed boss. He brings the entire rest of the staff with him and still has time for a short conversation with us guests. We'll definitely be back!!!

We like authentic Greek cuisine and we love meze. We got our money's worth here with both. We had the cold and warm starter platter, tomato soup and pita bread and everything was super tasty and took us mentally to the Mediterranean. The service was friendly and the food can be quick. A clear recommendation! If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.

After asking three times, the menu arrived. After 90 minutes, even after asking, the food finally arrived. And then, to top it off, it was the wrong food for one person. We lost our appetite. We declined a drink. Never again...

Due to the extremely long wait before we even received the menus, and an even longer wait before ordering and being served, I only gave it 2 stars. After years, the restaurant apparently started taking legal action against the bad reviews, accusing me of defamation and claiming I hadn't even been to their restaurant. However, based on my Google Timeline, I was able to verify this and filed an appeal. About two years later, I received another message from Google saying my review had been removed because it was being reported to me under a legal complaint.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting a Greek restaurant and all I can say is that it was an all around wonderful experience! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered the restaurant. The warm atmosphere and the friendly welcome immediately made us feel at home. The service was exceptional. The staff was extremely attentive, professional and always eager to fulfill our every wish. Now to the most important part: the food. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, all freshly prepared and tasty. The traditional Greek specialties like moussaka, gyros and souvlaki were to die for! We spent a wonderful evening in the restaurant, surrounded by warm hospitality and delicious food. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit. In this sense: Jámas! 🍷🥙

Super good FOOD BEST AMBIENCE GREAT SERVICE SIMPLY GREAT

Overall it was ok. For me personally, classic flatbread or, even better, pita goes with gyros/tzatziki. Unfortunately only dry baguette bread was served instead. Despite the fairly high bill, there wasn't even a small ouzo on the house. I've never experienced that in a Greek restaurant :(

The food was great. Great, tasty and juicy gyros. We love Greek food and this was the best souvlaki I've eaten so far. I can only recommend it to everyone. The people are very nice. Price-performance is right. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant To'u Bakaliko on Dortu Street in Potsdam at all. The food was simply bad - carelessly prepared and the taste was disappointing. There was no trace of the supposedly authentic flair. The service was also a disaster: disorganized, slow and unfriendly. However, the behavior of the owner, who behaved extremely arrogantly and condescendingly, was absolutely unacceptable. That's not how you treat guests! All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience that I definitely won't repeat.

We were on a Christmas vacation in Potsdam for 4 days and had dinner in this tavern on the first evening, the second and the third evening. It was super cozy, all the dishes were very tasty and the portions were generous. The entire staff was very polite, courteous and attentive. We felt like part of the family. We'll definitely be back. Unfortunately, we waited 30 minutes before our drink order was even taken. Then another 15 minutes before the drinks came. The food was tasty, but a bit low for the price. We then waited another 20 minutes for the bill and had to ask twice, even though the restaurant was empty. Really a shame.. really zero service from start to finish..

Nice ambience! Many Potsdam residents were thrilled that this beautiful, historic restaurant was taken over by Greeks after many changes in ownership. But the disappointment couldn't be greater. The food is average to bad. Everything you know from Greek cuisine is distorted in this restaurant. Even the tzatziki is unusually tasteless and bland... This is in no way the same as the original. The operators may think that Potsdam, in the middle of the city, only attracts tourists. Wrong thinking...In Potsdam, gastronomy only survives if it is really good. The food delivered is even worse, not acceptable! Food for 70 euros for two people ended up completely in the trash can.

Had an excellent warm starter platter and a liver and bifteki dish. Everything very fresh and tasty. Plates not too crowded, but great quality 👌. Clear favorite when it comes to going to the Greek again 😋

A very good Greek with delicious food. The atmosphere is very cozy and modern. Unfortunately, the service wasn't quite optimal at first and wasn't attentive, even though it wasn't that busy. There is a bit of catching up to do, although the blonde service person was absolutely great and we were happy when she came to our table 😊 gladly everyone was as attentive as she was 😉

Amazing staff and delicious food!

I had the Troy grill plate with souvlaki, biffteki and gyros with fries and tzatziki and a salad. The gyros didn't quite suit my taste, felt like they had a bit of liver flavor. The service was good. After the meal an ouzo was offered. The ambience is nice, even if the tables are quite close to each other. Caution is advised at the entrance as one step is a tripping hazard when going in and out. It's easy to miss the sign on the door, so I recommend additional marking on the floor. Would stop by again next time I'm in Potsdam.

Great location, older facility in a historic house, very cozy. Staff average friendly, which is completely ok for us. The food was tasty, but nothing special. After ordering it took less than 10 minutes, then the starter came and after another 10 minutes the main course. You can do it, but there are better Greek places for the prices.

The dish tasted delicious, the service was very attentive, but it was too loud and too crowded for a Saturday evening. But of course this is a sign for the owner that the restaurant is doing well. I liked the furnishings because they weren't too modern, but rather typical of the country.

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. But you can tell who the boss is and he probably doesn't like to collect money from customers. The location is also very nice, there is a lot to see. However, it is just too narrow and noisy there, which was very intimidating. Would like to go back but not at 6 p.m. when it's full. The food came very quickly and the prices were surprisingly high for a Greek restaurant.

Arriving as a large family with 10 hungry mouths, we were greeted warmly, space was a bit cramped, but a star was deducted for that, but also very cozy, nice service, very tasty food, we had a lot of different dishes, everyone was hot and on time, we all like eating Greek and we weren't disappointed, gladly again, a delicious Uozo and an espresso as a farewell, very nice for Potsdam.

But... ...long waiting times if you sit at the back, ...too few staff at the back and people forget ...first time with a Greek, where there were no olives with the salad and the salad was really lean, otherwise it is also more lush with other Greeks, ...food was okay so far but not too great (relatively lukewarm and bland). ...hospitality is missing. You might call it complaining at a high level, but there are many other Greeks where things are different and far better. And if you wait for a free table (even though it was reserved), you could get ouzo on the house...

First of all, it's a nice restaurant and the staff were attentive. There were no extra plates for the starter that we shared. We therefore had to eat on napkins. A waiter just looked at us strangely, but nothing more. This was our first time eating on napkins, why wasn't there a small plate for everyone? The main courses were very good. In summary it was fine.

The octopus starter was perfectly grilled and beautifully tender. Very attentive service who took the order quickly and was always there when drinks, food had to be brought or cleared away. Perfect.

The food was tasty, but also a bit higher value for money. The service was friendly and orders came to the table quickly. When the weather is good, there are actually quite a few outdoor spaces. The insider tip is the places right next to the entrance: you almost feel like you're sitting on a couch there. Overall a nice restaurant with a romantic atmosphere.

I have to admit, I haven't tried the food. I saw the prices and sat at a table with a plastic tablecloth. sorry, that doesn't add up. If I spend €26 on a main course, I want to sit nicer than at the kebab shop. I can't say anything about the food

The starter was a cold sharing plate and could be served together with the main course according the ober 2. the quality of the food was dat below what we had in other restaurants in Potsdam, within the same price level 3. We had dinner at 8pm and had to use our cell phones to have a little light

Duurde even voor we konden bestellen De tafel was op een totaal niet verlichte plaats onder een parasol. Kozen mix van koude gerechten als voorgerecht en als hoofdschotel 2 verschillende souflaki gerechten. Drank aperitief aperol spritz water en rose wij 1/2 liter Bij de apero kregen we een mix sla die we niet besteld hadden. Dan kwam het voorgerecht (mix van sausen pepers olijven) tesamen gelijk met het hoofdgerecht op tafel. Na een discussie werd de hoofdschotel terug genomen en proefde we het voorgerecht Dit was zo matig van kwaliteit dat we het haast integraal lieten voor wat het was. De hoofdschotel was warm gehouden en als dusdanig niet meer eetbaar Afgerekend en vertrokken 😂😂👎

Haben über unseren Guide, Herr Müller, noch einen Tisch bekommen. Personal war sehr freundlich, Essen sehr gut und Preise normal. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Not recommended at all!!! We reserved a table and sat outside on the terrace. Atmosphere is quite nice. Starters were tasty, but that was the only thing that made up. Two main courses were a little salty and the third was extremely salty, and everything didn't taste good at all. I didn't think the prices were cheap at all, but the quality and taste were so poor. While serving, the waiter accidentally tipped the bread on the ground and instead of replacing it with another one, he simply lifted it onto the plate and placed it on the table😨😱All the guests saw it. He just left and didn't come back. So if you want to celebrate something important, definitely don't reserve a table here. Evening was ruined.

I don't know why other people rate it so well? You don't need the salad with the musaca again. We don't know Musaca that way. It's usually served in a casserole dish. A mushy consistency, small portion and unfortunately far too expensive.

Wir hatten nicht reserviert und wollten gerne draußen sitzen. Das war alles kein Problem. Wir wurden gebeten drinnen zu warten und als draußen Platz war, bekamen wir einen Tisch. Vorab einen Warte-Ouzo! Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Bedienung war flott und freundlich. Alles perfekt. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Wir kommen wieder beim nächsten Potsdam Besuch 👍☺️

The food was OK, but the staff seemed friendly but disorganized. Some of the somewhat old-fashioned chairs were a bit wobbly and unsuitable for the gravel surface.

The food is not great. Also, not everything was put on the table at the same time. I found the service to be pushy and unpleasant. To go to the toilet the waiter stands on the stairs and stares at you. In addition, the cellar smells like spoiled salmon. The chairs on the terrace were full of holes and despite the cushions, they need to be replaced.

Cozy and authentic Greek restaurant in downtown Potsdam. The service is quick. The gyros and tomato rice were convincing. Unfortunately the salad was no longer completely fresh. Nevertheless, this restaurant is recommended, not least because of its good price-performance ratio. In summer you should sit outside. At the end you can choose to serve ouzo.

We left our hotel on Saturday evening in Regen and wanted to have a nice meal. After 3km we found this Greek restaurant in the city center. We drive completely wet. We were greeted very friendly. I have to say the food and the whole atmosphere was very nice. We got Uso and We felt warm again. We would like to thank the waitress. They even ordered a taxi for us 🚕 unfortunately without success, so we left the restaurant and went back to the hotel. It was a very nice, fantastic evening.
