Great location, older facility in a historic house, very cozy. Staff average friendly, which is completely ok for us. The food was tasty, but nothing special. After ordering it took less than 10 minutes, then the starter came and after another 10 minutes the main course. You can do it, but there are better Greek places for the prices.

The food is good. It was very loud in the restaurant.

The dish tasted delicious, the service was very attentive, but it was too loud and too crowded for a Saturday evening. But of course this is a sign for the owner that the restaurant is doing well. I liked the furnishings because they weren't too modern, but rather typical of the country.

Highly recommended Greek restaurant with original Greek flavours and great atmosphere!! Better to reserve a table due to high demand…but of course they will serve you anyway! 5 starts!!

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. But you can tell who the boss is and he probably doesn't like to collect money from customers. The location is also very nice, there is a lot to see. However, it is just too narrow and noisy there, which was very intimidating. Would like to go back but not at 6 p.m. when it's full. The food came very quickly and the prices were surprisingly high for a Greek restaurant.

Arriving as a large family with 10 hungry mouths, we were greeted warmly, space was a bit cramped, but a star was deducted for that, but also very cozy, nice service, very tasty food, we had a lot of different dishes, everyone was hot and on time, we all like eating Greek and we weren't disappointed, gladly again, a delicious Uozo and an espresso as a farewell, very nice for Potsdam.

Very nice atmosphere. But... ...long waiting times if you sit at the back, ...too few staff at the back and people forget ...first time with a Greek, where there were no olives with the salad and the salad was really lean, otherwise it is also more lush with other Greeks, ...food was okay so far but not too great (relatively lukewarm and bland). ...hospitality is missing. You might call it complaining at a high level, but there are many other Greeks where things are different and far better. And if you wait for a free table (even though it was reserved), you could get ouzo on the house...

Very nice restaurant and friendly service as well as a pleasant atmosphere

First of all, it's a nice restaurant and the staff were attentive. There were no extra plates for the starter that we shared. We therefore had to eat on napkins. A waiter just looked at us strangely, but nothing more. This was our first time eating on napkins, why wasn't there a small plate for everyone? The main courses were very good. In summary it was fine.

The octopus starter was perfectly grilled and beautifully tender. Very attentive service who took the order quickly and was always there when drinks, food had to be brought or cleared away. Perfect.

I have to admit, I haven't tried the food. I saw the prices and sat at a table with a plastic tablecloth. sorry, that doesn't add up. If I spend €26 on a main course, I want to sit nicer than at the kebab shop. I can't say anything about the food

The food was tasty, but also a bit higher value for money. The service was friendly and orders came to the table quickly. When the weather is good, there are actually quite a few outdoor spaces. The insider tip is the places right next to the entrance: you almost feel like you're sitting on a couch there. Overall a nice restaurant with a romantic atmosphere.

The starter was a cold sharing plate and could be served together with the main course according the ober 2. the quality of the food was dat below what we had in other restaurants in Potsdam, within the same price level 3. We had dinner at 8pm and had to use our cell phones to have a little light

Duurde even voor we konden bestellen De tafel was op een totaal niet verlichte plaats onder een parasol. Kozen mix van koude gerechten als voorgerecht en als hoofdschotel 2 verschillende souflaki gerechten. Drank aperitief aperol spritz water en rose wij 1/2 liter Bij de apero kregen we een mix sla die we niet besteld hadden. Dan kwam het voorgerecht (mix van sausen pepers olijven) tesamen gelijk met het hoofdgerecht op tafel. Na een discussie werd de hoofdschotel terug genomen en proefde we het voorgerecht Dit was zo matig van kwaliteit dat we het haast integraal lieten voor wat het was. De hoofdschotel was warm gehouden en als dusdanig niet meer eetbaar Afgerekend en vertrokken 😂😂👎

Haben über unseren Guide, Herr Müller, noch einen Tisch bekommen. Personal war sehr freundlich, Essen sehr gut und Preise normal. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Not recommended at all!!! We reserved a table and sat outside on the terrace. Atmosphere is quite nice. Starters were tasty, but that was the only thing that made up. Two main courses were a little salty and the third was extremely salty, and everything didn't taste good at all. I didn't think the prices were cheap at all, but the quality and taste were so poor. While serving, the waiter accidentally tipped the bread on the ground and instead of replacing it with another one, he simply lifted it onto the plate and placed it on the table😨😱All the guests saw it. He just left and didn't come back. So if you want to celebrate something important, definitely don't reserve a table here. Evening was ruined.

I don't know why other people rate it so well? You don't need the salad with the musaca again. We don't know Musaca that way. It's usually served in a casserole dish. A mushy consistency, small portion and unfortunately far too expensive.

Wir hatten nicht reserviert und wollten gerne draußen sitzen. Das war alles kein Problem. Wir wurden gebeten drinnen zu warten und als draußen Platz war, bekamen wir einen Tisch. Vorab einen Warte-Ouzo! Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Bedienung war flott und freundlich. Alles perfekt. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Wir kommen wieder beim nächsten Potsdam Besuch 👍☺️

The food was OK, but the staff seemed friendly but disorganized. Some of the somewhat old-fashioned chairs were a bit wobbly and unsuitable for the gravel surface.

The food is not great. Also, not everything was put on the table at the same time. I found the service to be pushy and unpleasant. To go to the toilet the waiter stands on the stairs and stares at you. In addition, the cellar smells like spoiled salmon. The chairs on the terrace were full of holes and despite the cushions, they need to be replaced.

Cozy and authentic Greek restaurant in downtown Potsdam. The service is quick. The gyros and tomato rice were convincing. Unfortunately the salad was no longer completely fresh. Nevertheless, this restaurant is recommended, not least because of its good price-performance ratio. In summer you should sit outside. At the end you can choose to serve ouzo.

We left our hotel on Saturday evening in Regen and wanted to have a nice meal. After 3km we found this Greek restaurant in the city center. We drive completely wet. We were greeted very friendly. I have to say the food and the whole atmosphere was very nice. We got Uso and We felt warm again. We would like to thank the waitress. They even ordered a taxi for us 🚕 unfortunately without success, so we left the restaurant and went back to the hotel. It was a very nice, fantastic evening. Glum but efficient service. My Zanderfilet was good. My partner’s moussaka was ok Prices were very reasonable Outdoor area was nice in a quiet street.

The owner sat at the next table and chain smoked during our stay. Only after two cigarettes and the question of not smoking at least during our meal did it become bearable.

Food was ok, but not a highlight either. The service wasn't good: everything took a long time (even if it wasn't full) and you sometimes had to ask several times until the drink came, for example.

Unfriendly service, no “special requests” possible, not even against payment. The food wasn't hot and very clear. Tourist delight at a high level. Not again!!

Overall everything was fine, but since the table was booked in the hall, it was very hot, there was no air conditioning. And it was not a very hot day, +22 degrees.

Food okay, service grade 4, ambience good Greek restaurant in which there are probably no Greeks working and cannot authentically represent the flair of a real Greek restaurant. In general, many waiters seem to have no training for this job. Although they try hard, they are completely overwhelmed, not experienced and have little charm. The guest is just a number here. We asked for cutlery 3 times, then the food came, then a total of 3 different waiters came and asked if everything was OK. We pointed out to everyone that we still needed bread, extra tzatziki and mayo. Which came after 20 minutes after repeated requests. Unfortunately, the actual food was almost gone. The food is okay, but anyone expecting something better will be disappointed. Price performance doesn't fit here. After the meal we were no longer asked for drinks and when we wanted the bill it took another 30 minutes and there was no tip anymore. We now know where we are no longer going.

Unfortunately, service, food and warmth have declined in recent months. We used to enjoy coming here, but the quality is no longer the same. It's not a bad restaurant, but it doesn't compare to previous days either. And it's too expensive for that, because the quality of the food no longer makes up the overall impression. How can I explain it? During our last visit, a well-dressed older lady spoke on the phone for over an hour in front of the guests present. It seemed quirky and none of the waiters dared to say anything. In addition, our waiter didn't even make eye contact with us when we ordered. I don't expect highly trained employees, but this was a strange situation overall. We had the usual meal with Gyros Jumetzi 19.50 and Gyros Tou Bakali 18.90 euros. The food was more salty than tasty. It seems like the air is out. If it is a family business, it could be through the next generation. I would be happy about that and I would wish it for the family, because there are currently just not enough good family restaurants with potential in Potsdam. We don't want to complain, we want to encourage improvement.

A guest who had just left the restaurant recommended that we eat there. We would have missed something if we hadn't done it. A very nice restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the shopping street in Potsdam. Quietly located with indoor and outdoor areas. The staff was very nice and always available. We never had to wait long for orders. The food was delicious, this applies to starters, main courses and desserts. The cold drinks were cold and the wines were also at a good temperature. At the end there was even ouzo as a thank you.

I had dinner here recently and found the meat dishes, particularly the lamb, souvlaki, and gyros, to be quite enjoyable. However, I found the side dishes to be a bit lacking in flavor. The dolmadakia were not as tasty as I had hoped, and the pita seemed to be a bit too oily. The calamari was decent, but overall, I had higher expectations for the taste of the food.

We had already looked around for restaurants when we visited Potsdam. The Tou Bakali welcomed us very nicely, the service was attentive. The ambience, as it is a historic building (gastronomy and culture for over 100 years), is of course not Greek, but with a very tasteful interior. The food, again - very Greek - reminded us of our last vacation. Service was quick! If it's summer, you should reserve in advance. It will definitely be difficult to get a table. We'd love to come back.

30 Minuten warten vor dem Tresen trotz Reservierung (2 Personen), da kein Tisch frei. „Service“ völlig überfordert. Tische enger gestellt als in einer Schulmensa, dementsprechend auch Lautstärkepegel. Nachdem noch andere Wartende, die nach uns kamen, einen Tisch bekommen hatten, wurden wir auf Nachfrage zu einem Tisch geschickt. Zudem viel gleich die stickige Luft auf. Nach 20 Minuten ohne Beachtung und jeglicher Bestellung sind wir gegangen. Da wurde doch tatsächlich noch am Tresen gefragt, was das Problem sei??? Kann man sich nich ausdenken. Am Besten parallel zur Reservierung über Lieferando bestellen, da soll es 15min via Abholung dauern!?! Wenn man keine Kapazitäten hat, sollte man keine Reservierungen annehmen! Dazu die Bahnhofs-Atmosphäre durch völlig überfüllen Gastraum. Preise sind zudem auch sehr „gesalzen“.

It's best to order via Lieferando parallel to the reservation, as it should take 15 minutes to collect!?! If you don't have capacity, you shouldn't accept reservations! In addition, the train station atmosphere due to the completely overcrowded guest room. Prices are also very high. Never again.

Great restaurant, we had the food put in the middle and then shared it together. It was delicious, but this restaurant has a hard time because we have 2 excellent Greek restaurants to compare. The warm appetizer platter was delicious but I know it was more appealing and extensive. Grill plate for €26.5, well ok, everything got more expensive but it was enough for us. Dessert was quite delicious.

Perfect Greek food and friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere at reasonable prices. The baby calamari was tender and fresh, the grilled lamb chops were excellent and the dessert (Baklawa) was so generously portioned that it was enough for two. Espresso and ouzo were free. - We will be back!

The food was well made, however the staff was very unfriendly. Didn't want to make a reservation, also didn't want to let in customers 2 hours before the closing time. All the waiters were extremely sad and unfriendly, looks like they don't want to have customers dining there. This is not the experience you usually get in the Greek restaurant. Even though the food was tasty, we wouldn't go back.
