Für drei Personen nur zwei gratis Abschiedsgetränke,wieso nicht für jeden Gast? Pommes und Fleisch beim Servieren im Garten nicht heiß.

Wir haben am Christi Himmelfahrt Biosphäre besucht. Nach einem Rundgang haben wir Hunger bekommen. Da ein Restaurant und ein Cafe im Gelände schon kurz vor Schließung waren, haben ich und meine Frau uns bei Googlemaps spontan nach einem Restaurant gesucht. Ganz zufällig sind wir auf ein griechisches Restaurant gestoßen, etwa 6- 7 Min. Fahrweg. Das Restaurant hat uns mit warmer, schöner und moderner Ambiente überzeugt. Personal super nett. Die Preise fair und die Portionen reichlich. Essen war top. Wir kommen auf jeden wieder :)

Es gibt nur ein Wort für dieses Restaurant... -unübertrefflich- Nur wegen diesem Restaurant kommen wir ein mal im Jahr nach Potsdam. Wir lieben griechisches Essen! Egal in welcher Stadt wir unsere Urlaube verbringen, ein "Griche" ist ein "Muss"!! Wir haben mit Abstand festgestellt, es gibt kein besseres grichiches Restaurant, als das Spiti Mas in Potsdam. Hier spürt man Leidenschaft, Vertrautheit und Geborgenheit. Genau das sagt der Name... Spiti Mas bedeudet " wie zu Hause. Immer wenn wir hier sind, ist es wie heimkommen. Ich bin beruflich bundesweit unterwegs und muss ehrlich zugeben, dass Ich noch in meinem so leckeren griechischen Restaurant war wie diesem. Hier stimmt einfach alles - Ambiente, Service, Personal, super Essen und vor allem sehr schnell fertig. Absolut nichts zu beanstanden!

Eines der besten griechischen Restaurants, die ich je besucht habe. Das Personal ist großartig und das Essen hervorragend. Von außen würde man es nicht vermuten, aber die Inneneinrichtung ist erstklassig.

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Leider sind die Preise unverschämt teuer geworden. Ein Softgetränk 0,3 für 4,80€ ist eine Ansage. Insgesamt sehr teuer. Enttäuschend ist, dass es während des Essens oder zur Rechnung nicht einmal Ouzo oder für die Kinder ein Lolli angeboten wurde. Wirklich schade!

Wir waren zu Dritt spontan am Dienstag 3. Februar bei eisigen -8 Grad Außentemperatur im Spiti Mas. Nach einem Begrüßungs-Uso, den uns die sehr freundliche Bedienung empfohlen hat, wurde es uns wieder warm. Wir konnten dann unseren Abend vor der Fruitlogistica Messe in Berlin in entspannter Atmosphäre bei sehr leckerem Essen genießen. Mein Tipp: zur Vorspeise ein "Knoblauch-Brot" und zum Hauptgang "Gyros Souvlaki mit Knoblauch-Kartoffeln" - ein Traum!!! Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Abend bei Euch 😀

Der Service war unprofessionell und unfreundlich, das Essen langweilig und für den Preis nicht angemessen. Außerdem war es im Restaurant viel zu laut.

Wir gehen immer wieder super gerne hier hin. Wunderschöne Atmosphäre, unglaublich lieb zu unseren Kindern und einfach richtig leckeres Essen. Fühlt sich jedes Mal ein bisschen wie Urlaub an. Absolute Empfehlung! 🇬🇷❤️

Wir waren zum 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag dort essen und was sollen wir sagen: Wir waren mehr als begeistert von dem Essen (2x Bifteki und 1x Lammplatte). Die Biftekis waren nicht trocken sondern schön saftig und auch das Lammfleisch war noch in drinnen leicht rosa und wurde auch am Knochen serviert. Das zeugt von Qualität und das die Küche auch ihr Handwerk versteht. Als Nachspeise gab es eine Vanille-Panna Cotta welche unsere Geschmacksknospen zur Explosion gebracht hat. Das Personal war mega nett und freundlich. Wir waren zu dem mit unserer Hündin da und auch sie wurde herzlich empfangen 😊 Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!! 🤗

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Potsdam ❤️ Traditionelle griechische Küche. Innenhof bei schönen Wetter TOP..👍🏻 gehen seit drei Jahren regelmäßig hierher. EMPFEHLENSWERT

Gefunden bei unserem Silvester-Kurztrip in Potsdam. Spiti Mas: Super toll eingerichtet, gemütlich und modern. Super Service, obwohl das Restaurant voll war und wir keine Reservierung hatten. Auf der Karte war alles zu finden was man beim Griechen erwartet. Das Essen selber jedoch hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Als Vorspeise bestellten wir eine gemischte, warme Vorspeise (Nr. 38) und belegte Brotscheiben (Nr. 52) Die Vorspeise haben wir nur bestellt weil es in den Rezessionen hieß, dass die Portionen klein sind. Das ist definitiv nicht so!!! Der erste Gang war schon mal Mega gut. Weiter ging’s mit Mousaka und mediterranem Gemüse (Nr. 130) Das Mousaka war wie erwartet gut, aber das Gemüse mit Ziegenkäse als vegetarisches Gericht war der Hammer. Herrliche Auberginen und Paprika gegrillt und super gewürzt. Danke für diese tolle Erfahrung und vielleicht kommen wir mal wieder 💝

Ich war mit meiner Frau letzte Woche das erste Mal im Spiti Mas. Von außen sieht das Restaurant auf den ersten Blick etwas ungewöhnlich aus, da das Logo eher an eine Versicherung erinnert, was durch die Lage im Bürogebäude neben der Wohnungsgenossenschaft optisch noch untermalt wird. Innen sieht es allerdings deutlich besser aus: es ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Nicht der typische griechische Kitsch in blau und weiß mit antiken Säulen, etwas cleaner, aber trotzdem sehr einladend und gemütlich. Das Konzept scheint eine moderne Version griechischer Küche zu sein und das merkt man auch an der Speisekarte - ein paar typische Gerichte fehlen, dafür gibt es einige, die ich so noch nie bei einem Griechen in Potsdam oder Berlin gesehen habe. Wie man es beim Griechen kennt, ist die vegetarische Auswahl an Speisen recht eingeschränkt, aber es gibt 3 vegetarische Hauptgerichte und ein paar Vorspeisen zur Auswahl. Das war für mich erstmal okay. Der Service war die ganze Zeit über super nett und aufmerksam. Zuerst einmal gab es Ouzo und wenn man nach dem gratis Shot am Anfang noch welchen bestellt, bekommt man ihn mit einer kandierten Feige im Glas, was sehr angenehm geschmeckt hat. Wir haben dann jeder ein paar Dips bestellt (für mich Tirokafteri (abgewandelte Form von Kopanisti) und für meine Frau Chaviari (abgewandelte Form von Taramas)) - beides war unglaublich lecker aber mit ganzen drei Dip Schälchen pro Vorspeise sehr viel. Das hat dazu geführt, dass wir Brot nachordern mussten. Wir haben uns dann Tiganita (gegrillte Zucchini und Augerginen) geteilt. Wäre von der Größe her fast als Hauptspeise durchgegangen. Auch hier: alles extrem lecker. Großer Pluspunkt dafür, dass es nicht paniert und frittiert, sondern gebraten und noch etwas bissfest war. Irgendwann kamen dann die Hauptgerichte, die natürlich auch riesig waren und wir mussten uns eingestehen, dass wir zu viel bestellt haben und die Hälfte davon mit nach Hause nehmen. Meine Frau hatte recht klassisch Gyros in Metaxasauce, welches ihr super geschmeckt hat. Ich war neugierig auf das wahrscheinlich ungewöhnlichste vegetarische Gericht: Crepa (mit Spinat gefüllte Teigtasche). Am Ende war die tatsächlich wie der Name schon andeutet Spinat in dünnem Crepeteig und es war erstaunlich lecker. Vor allem die Champignonsauce dazu war sehr cremig und gut, aber auch die Füllung aus Spinat und Feta war super abgestimmt. Am Ende waren wir super zufrieden. Spiti Mas schmeckt authentisch griechisch, hat aber doch ein eigenes Konzept, das sich ein bisschen von den anderen Griechen in Potsdam abhebt. Super günstig ist es nicht, aber dafür bekommt man auch sehr große Portionen. Kann mir gut vorstellen, bald mal wieder vorbei zu schauen.

Wir haben ohne Reservierung noch zwei Plätze ergattern können. Sie waren zwar an der Theke aber trotzdem nicht schlecht. Essen und Service war super. Sollten wir wieder in Potsdam sein, kommen wir gerne wieder. Macht weiter so!

Spiti Mas Potsdam: Highly recommended! Spiti Mas in Potsdam is a real insider tip for all fans of Greek cuisine. The food is outstanding: authentic, fresh, and simply delicious. The portions are generous and reflect high quality. The staff deserves special mention: They are extremely friendly, warm, and attentive, making the visit a thoroughly positive experience. The ambiance is modern and very appealing, a welcome change from the traditional taverna. In short: Great Greek food, excellent service, and a modern atmosphere. A must-visit! Keep it up... Update: After a year, we went back, having had such a good experience. Unfortunately, a lot has changed. We couldn't finish our meal because it was simply inedible. And this became apparent the following night. We both felt very ill. Even the waiter was embarrassed. Instead of apologizing, he just shrugged. A shame for what was once a very good restaurant. We definitely won't be coming back.

I've rarely experienced such a well-rounded experience: a super friendly team, spotlessly clean, modern style, yet still cozy. You can immediately tell that someone here is passionate about quality, not just the bare minimum. The food and drinks are top-notch, the prices are fair for what you get, and the atmosphere is so positive that you automatically end up staying longer than planned 😅 Most importantly: incredibly delicious! For me: 5/5 – the perfect spot if you're looking for something nice in Potsdam and just want to feel good. I would recommend it to everyone in my circle of friends. 💪🔥

We were a couple and ate at Spiti Mas on Thursday evening at 9 pm. The service staff was nice and friendly. We had three appetizers, which were tasty: garlic bread, pita bread, and baked feta. For our main courses, we had gyros with fries and tzatziki, and a mixed grill. The main course was also tasty, but unfortunately, the gyros wasn't very hot. Overall, it tasted good, but we felt that for the price, there could have been a little more on the plates.

Delicious food and good service, but far too overpriced for the portion size. The one vegetarian dish was served without a side dish for just under €19, which probably cost the owner a maximum of €2 to buy. The fries were hard (and frozen). We weren't even remotely full. The drinks were also so overpriced, an absolute disgrace. At my regular Greek restaurant in Berlin, for the same price, you can also get olives and bread, a small salad, and a delicious dessert, plus a significantly larger portion size. So the price is appropriate. We definitely won't be going here again. Save your money or bring enough money for a kebab afterward.

The best restaurant of our trip! We were at Spiti Mas on October 14, 2025, and it was simply fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious – every dish was perfectly prepared and served with love. The service was outstanding: attentive, warm, and always with a smile. We felt welcome from the very first moment. For us, Spiti Mas was definitely the highlight of our restaurant visits – we will definitely be back! 🇬🇷🍽️

I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars. The ambiance is great, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the food excellent. Only the concept bothers me a little. The portions are huge (I like to eat, but the appetizer was too much for me to finish the main course), which put me off dessert. The "small portion" for a light snack was a standard portion at another restaurant. I prefer to sample and enjoy the cuisine over three courses rather than leave feeling unwell. You can certainly reduce the portions, save €2-3 on the price, and end up making more friends.

It's a fantastic restaurant with very friendly staff. Even when our youngest grandson had a minor mishap, the waiter reacted very calmly and professionally. I highly recommend it if you're in Potsdam and want to eat well.

Authentic Greek cuisine—that's exactly what we enjoyed here. We came here based on a personal recommendation from friends, and we're thrilled too. Every dish, from lamb to fish, was wonderfully balanced in flavor and had that special, individual touch you'd expect. I had liver there on Sunday. I know it's not particularly popular, but it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection and served with delicious mashed potatoes 😋😋😋❤️ Honestly, I've never had such perfect liver in any restaurant before! The service staff was super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We had a very nice dinner here. The food was tasty, and the staff were kind and caring. We enjoyed sitting on the cozy terrace, and the moussaka in particular was excellent. A couple of small things: I would have preferred to receive some pita bread as a complimentary starter instead of ouzo, as the portion of bread we ordered felt a bit pricey. Also, the potatoes had a bit too much garlic, which made them hard to finish. Overall though, we really enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was warm. Prices are average-to-slightly-above, I’d recommend it.

I remembered the "old" Athos very well and always enjoyed being a guest there. Today at Spiti Mas, you are welcomed into a very modern ambiance. Nevertheless, you feel very comfortable as soon as you enter the dining room. This is, of course, not least due to the excellent service. I can only say one thing about the food – truly excellent Greek cuisine. You can taste the high quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. For starters, I highly recommend the Greek bruschetta [psitopsomi]. Simple but very tasty. The prices are overall mid-range and absolutely reasonable. Thank you for the wonderful culinary evening.
