Ich bin so froh, dass wir hier zum Abendessen eingekehrt sind. Es war mit das beste griechische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe! Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Mein liebstes griechisches Restaurant! Perfekt für gemütliche Tapas-Abende drinnen oder draußen im kleinen Hinterhof. Das Essen ist klasse. Und einen so tollen Service wie hier habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt – zuvorkommend, sympathisch und vor allem wird hier mitgedacht. Große Empfehlung!

Die Speisen waren von ausgezeichneter Qualität und die Portionen genau richtig. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den gesamten Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wir haben aufgrund der bewertungen uns für diesen Grieche entschieden und sie halten das was sie versprechen! Tolles Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant, schon die Getränke waren ein erlebnis. Schon lange nicht mehr Wein und Wasser eingegossen bekommen. Die Vorspeisen waren auch super sowie die Hauptspeisen! Absolut empfehlenswert, wie auch eine Reservierung vorab.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her und reisen sogar extra aus Berlin an. Ein kleiner Familienbetrieb mit ganz nettem Service, leckerem bodenständigem Essen und fairem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir fühlen uns jederzeit willkommen und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Der Besitzer ist und sein Sohn sind uns richtig ans Herz gewachsen.

Als wir ankamen, mussten wir auf unseren reservierten Tisch warten und es ist sehr sehr laut. Essen und Service ist gut.

Eine Stunde Wartezeit nach der Bestellung ist zu viel, auch wenn es voll ist. Dennoch Personal war sehr freundlich. Sardinen waren weit über fritiert. Der Mokka war dafür perfekt.

Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend. Die Kosten sind völlig im Rahmen, aber eher im oberen Bereich. Gute Auswahl an Getränke. Es gibt KEIN Gyros leider. Mitarbeiter sind alle nett und zuvorkommend Hier kommt man gerne wieder.

Gönnjaminh Fazit: 10/10 – ein richtig guter Grieche. Wir waren im To Steki essen und hatten einen sehr leckeren Abend. Schon die Vorspeisen waren stark: ein frischer griechischer Salat, knuspriges Knoblauchbrot, frittierte Zucchini-Scheiben, cremiger Tzatziki und dazu das hausgemachte Brot – alles rundum gelungen. Besonders der Tzatziki war ein Highlight. 🍽️ Essen: Das Moussaka war richtig gut und geschmacklich auf dem Punkt. Das Bifteki, gefüllt mit Feta, war ebenfalls sehr lecker und saftig. Zum Schluss gab es Galaktobureko als Dessert, das uns geschmacklich direkt wieder nach Kreta versetzt hat. 🧑‍🍳 Service: Freundlich und schnell. Die Gerichte kamen zügig, und man merkt, dass das Team gut organisiert ist. Eine Reservierung lohnt sich, da das Restaurant eher klein ist. 💸 Preise: Angemessen für die Qualität und Portionsgrößen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. 👉 Ein gemütlicher Grieche mit sehr gutem Essen – hier kann man ohne schlechtes Gewissen gönnen.

Nice, clean, and polite. The food was tasty, but I've had much better Greek food. The appetizer platter is always salty, but here it was almost unbearably salty. The bread was probably from the day before, as it was rock hard. The portions of the main courses are very small. At first, I thought they had mistakenly given me a child's portion. The value for money is therefore absolutely not right. We are two normal-weight adults with a small child. We paid €70. There was no ozo or anything else. After two hours, we were hungry again.

Great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was consistently delicious and prepared quickly. We had a couple of warm mesedes (veggie and meat) as starters and another main course. A very good Greek restaurant. The food is always delicious and fresh. The prices are raised every summer, sometimes by a euro or more. We find it quite expensive these days, so we order less and come less often. The restaurant has become truly expensive.

The food was excellent, offering a fresh and different perspective on Greek cuisine. Service was excellent and always available. Unfortunately, the outdoor area was closed due to water damage.

Today was my first time in Potsdam and I happened upon the Taverna To Steki. A nice little courtyard, delicious food, and attentive service. The place was busy, but getting a seat for one person was no problem. Typical Greek home cooking, with a large selection of delicious meses. I highly recommend it.

Completely different from other Greek restaurants. This family-run business doesn't offer the standard dishes like everyone else. They offer specialties with large portions. We walked past it a thousand times and just thought, let's give it a try. Thank goodness! By far the best Greek restaurant. Plus, the owners are incredibly friendly.

A truly lovely, family-run Greek restaurant. The host and his family are very friendly. Meze, small, well-prepared dishes, are typical of Greece. Our meal was truly excellent; I can only recommend it. The prices are also completely reasonable. The restaurant is open all day; we were there in the late afternoon, but it gets very busy in the evenings.

The chairs were a bit uncomfortable.

We came across the restaurant by chance while strolling through the city. And it turned out that the stop was an excellent decision!!!

For me the best Greek in town. Authentic food. I also like the smaller portions available that you can put together. The family-run, smaller restaurant is popular and usually full. Reservation recommended! I'm always happy to enjoy tzatziki, ouzo or other classics here. You feel comfortable and reminded of Greece.

Food was really excellent and delicious! Service very friendly and attentive. As a starter we had oven-baked feta and zucchini balls. Main course pork medallions or bifteki, both with tzatziki, fries and salad.

Good Greek restaurant in the Dutch Quarter in Potsdam. Not necessarily the typical menu of a Greek restaurant but you can put everything together. It also tasted very good. We'll stop by again in time👍🏻

First of all, the service was great, but the typical Greek hospitality was somewhat missing. The food was ok, but very bland. The ambience is more reminiscent of a rustic German parlor.

Taverna To Steki is a very popular Greek restaurant in downtown Potsdam - so popular that without a reservation you really have difficulty getting a table spontaneously and sometimes you have to call a few days in advance to make a reservation. Every time I was there the store was really full. In winter, when you can only sit inside, the selection of seats is somewhat limited - but it is still very comfortable and doesn't feel cramped. In summer you can also sit very well in a small courtyard. What I like about To Steki is that the menu is geared towards smaller mezedes, which you can then order several of. On the other hand, you don't get huge grill plates here. What I find very sad, however, is that there used to be a certain cheese here (Metsovone) that was smoked and came with honey and was my absolute favorite dish that I haven't seen anywhere else. Unfortunately, it is no longer on the menu. Last time I decided on the simple fried hard cheese instead. It was okay, but a little too dry and salty for me. I really like the wild vegetables from Crete, which have a pretty unique taste. To me it tastes a little better in puff pastry than on its own, but I like both versions. My wife had Bifteki last time, which she really enjoyed. Slightly smaller portion than you might find in other Greek restaurants, but nothing that will leave you hungry. I see some room for improvement with the starters. The Kopanisti was seasoned a little differently than I know it - it tasted somehow like paprika. It certainly depends on personal taste, but it didn't really suit ours. What I objectively didn't like was that the garlic bread was very dry and took a long time in the oven. Still edible, but marginal. The service was very good and I also liked the wine selection. Unfortunately, it's not that easy to find a decent Greek restaurant in Potsdam and in that regard, To Steki does a good job overall. I will definitely come back, but there is still a bit of potential for improvement here and there.

Very good food and nice atmosphere. The only negative point is that the drinks are very expensive (especially with children). A small Mirinda costs €4

The meats were great, but the soups we got felt like they'd seen better times. The service was lukewarm. The prices are slightly lower than the average in the neighborhood, but the place is not cheap. Overall, it's somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.
