Even the appetizers were fantastic: a fresh Greek salad, crispy garlic bread, fried zucchini slices, creamy tzatziki, and homemade bread – everything was absolutely perfect. The tzatziki was a particular highlight. 🍽️ Food: The moussaka was really good and perfectly seasoned. The bifteki, filled with feta cheese, was also very tasty and juicy. For dessert, we had galaktoboureko, which instantly transported us back to Crete. 🧑‍🍳 Service: Friendly and fast. The dishes arrived quickly, and you can tell the team is well-organized. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is rather small. 💸 Prices: Reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The price-performance ratio is excellent. 👉 A cozy Greek restaurant with very good food – you can indulge here without feeling guilty.

Nice, clean, and polite. The food was tasty, but I've had much better Greek food. The appetizer platter is always salty, but here it was almost unbearably salty. The bread was probably from the day before, as it was rock hard. The portions of the main courses are very small. At first, I thought they had mistakenly given me a child's portion. The value for money is therefore absolutely not right. We are two normal-weight adults with a small child. We paid €70. There was no ozo or anything else. After two hours, we were hungry again.

Great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was consistently delicious and prepared quickly. We had a couple of warm mesedes (veggie and meat) as starters and another main course. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied. We highly recommend it. Reservations are recommended. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

A very good Greek restaurant. The food is always delicious and fresh. The prices are raised every summer, sometimes by a euro or more. We find it quite expensive these days, so we order less and come less often. The restaurant has become truly expensive.

The food was excellent, offering a fresh and different perspective on Greek cuisine. Service was excellent and always available. Unfortunately, the outdoor area was closed due to water damage.

Today was my first time in Potsdam and I happened upon the Taverna To Steki. A nice little courtyard, delicious food, and attentive service. The place was busy, but getting a seat for one person was no problem. Typical Greek home cooking, with a large selection of delicious meses. I highly recommend it.

Completely different from other Greek restaurants. This family-run business doesn't offer the standard dishes like everyone else. They offer specialties with large portions. We walked past it a thousand times and just thought, let's give it a try. Thank goodness! By far the best Greek restaurant. Plus, the owners are incredibly friendly.

A truly lovely, family-run Greek restaurant. The host and his family are very friendly. Meze, small, well-prepared dishes, are typical of Greece. Our meal was truly excellent; I can only recommend it. The prices are also completely reasonable. The restaurant is open all day; we were there in the late afternoon, but it gets very busy in the evenings.

The chairs were a bit uncomfortable.

We came across the restaurant by chance while strolling through the city. And it turned out that the stop was an excellent decision!!!

For me the best Greek in town. Authentic food. I also like the smaller portions available that you can put together. The family-run, smaller restaurant is popular and usually full. Reservation recommended! I'm always happy to enjoy tzatziki, ouzo or other classics here. You feel comfortable and reminded of Greece.

Food was really excellent and delicious! Service very friendly and attentive. As a starter we had oven-baked feta and zucchini balls. Main course pork medallions or bifteki, both with tzatziki, fries and salad.

Good Greek restaurant in the Dutch Quarter in Potsdam. Not necessarily the typical menu of a Greek restaurant but you can put everything together. It also tasted very good. We'll stop by again in time👍🏻

First of all, the service was great, but the typical Greek hospitality was somewhat missing. The food was ok, but very bland. The ambience is more reminiscent of a rustic German parlor.

Taverna To Steki is a very popular Greek restaurant in downtown Potsdam - so popular that without a reservation you really have difficulty getting a table spontaneously and sometimes you have to call a few days in advance to make a reservation. Every time I was there the store was really full. In winter, when you can only sit inside, the selection of seats is somewhat limited - but it is still very comfortable and doesn't feel cramped. In summer you can also sit very well in a small courtyard. What I like about To Steki is that the menu is geared towards smaller mezedes, which you can then order several of. On the other hand, you don't get huge grill plates here. What I find very sad, however, is that there used to be a certain cheese here (Metsovone) that was smoked and came with honey and was my absolute favorite dish that I haven't seen anywhere else. Unfortunately, it is no longer on the menu. Last time I decided on the simple fried hard cheese instead. It was okay, but a little too dry and salty for me. I really like the wild vegetables from Crete, which have a pretty unique taste. To me it tastes a little better in puff pastry than on its own, but I like both versions. My wife had Bifteki last time, which she really enjoyed. Slightly smaller portion than you might find in other Greek restaurants, but nothing that will leave you hungry. I see some room for improvement with the starters. The Kopanisti was seasoned a little differently than I know it - it tasted somehow like paprika. It certainly depends on personal taste, but it didn't really suit ours. What I objectively didn't like was that the garlic bread was very dry and took a long time in the oven. Still edible, but marginal. The service was very good and I also liked the wine selection. Unfortunately, it's not that easy to find a decent Greek restaurant in Potsdam and in that regard, To Steki does a good job overall. I will definitely come back, but there is still a bit of potential for improvement here and there.

Very good food and nice atmosphere. The only negative point is that the drinks are very expensive (especially with children). A small Mirinda costs €4

The meats were great, but the soups we got felt like they'd seen better times. The service was lukewarm. The prices are slightly lower than the average in the neighborhood, but the place is not cheap. Overall, it's somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.

Lots of choice from the menu, food came super quickly. Prices a little higher but it tasted fabulous. Bread was always supplied. Lots of mese to combine. Gyros was not on the menu. Uso not on the house, but moderate price if you want it. Card payment possible. Reservation recommended.

We waited a long time for the food and then sat in front of empty plates for an even longer time. The food was ok, but no epiphany! We were served by three different waiters, none of whom were really polite. The bill included things we didn't order. No apology, nothing. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we'll never go there again!

Wir sind durch den Tipp eines Locals auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell am Tisch, das Essen lecker und wirklich selbstgemacht. Die Portionen sind mal nicht so riesig und überladen wie in anderen Restaurants in der Gegend. Wer abends einen Tisch möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall rechtzeitig reservieren, zur Mittagszeit war das kein Problem.

The best Greek food in Potsdam! Original Greek, always delicious, everything very fresh and a great family atmosphere. You can sit outside and inside, there is also air conditioning inside. I always recommend the octopus salad, but everything is really delicious. The service is top notch, very personal and everyone puts a lot of effort into it and is very attentive.

Good Greek restaurant with a clear menu. Each main course comes with a salad beforehand. The small dishes/starters are also highly recommended.

It was an ok experience, nothing supreme, but also nothing bad. We ordered meatballs with tomato and olive sauce. Some beef with potatoes and tzatziki and a some sausage a bit spicy. Garlic bread was good. Kind staff.

Very cozy Greek restaurant with a chilled out back garden. If you like typical traditional Greek dishes, this is the right place for you! All the dishes we tried (saganaki, souvlaki with tzatziki & pita, farmer's salad, moussaka, grilled octopus, kotopoulo tigania) were delicious! The staff is professional & very friendly, the prices are absolutely right!
