Back in my day, from 1975 to 1980, they had absolutely delicious meatballs with extra mustard. 🤣🤣🤣🤤🤤🤤 I'm very pleasantly surprised that the kiosk is still there. Please keep it up, and if my health allows, I'll stop by again. 👍

A lovely little pub where you can sit comfortably both indoors and outdoors.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a cozy pub in Gera. We walked past it several times with our dog. On a nice day, we decided to order a few drinks at the "Lochladen." Over the past two months, these have become regular Friday visits. On our first visit, we were told how this "pub" came about. We were absolutely thrilled with the idea and the ambiance. Friendly guests and very attentive service. The menu is also very easy to read. The food served in our presence always looked delicious and was lovingly prepared. Another thing we value is cleanliness, which is fully met here. When reading the negative reviews, we had to ask ourselves whether we had been to the same "pub." Unfortunately, there are always people who are unhappy with anything. We would definitely come back. A shout-out to the owner and her helpers! I can only agree with the comments of many here. It is the truth what is posted. So 100% NOT recommended! Just an example: Some time ago, a service worker even picked his nose while preparing food and ate it inside before the food was brought to the guest. (O-tone from a former regular) Simply DISGUSTING. The team and many guests are not of a high standard. Nobody can handle the direct confrontation and you just talk your way out of it.

It used to be a great meeting place to linger, but now we avoid it... no service in the beer garden... etc P.s. I think you're confusing me, I haven't come for a long time. We used to go there every weekend.

That USED to be a great location. No longer recommended. Both the food and the ambience leave a lot to be desired. A small excerpt from the kitchen: Schnitzel on bread with egg.
