Slow food, burger was some meat paste cooked in a oven. Described as juicy fried ground beef burger, was not juicy, nor fried, nor ground beef. Fries were ok :)

Very great here, service is super nice. Cuisine really delicious. Especially the soups in winter. My favorite is the potato soup with Mettenden. Perfectly seasoned, a shout out to the kitchen. See you soon;)

Unfortunately I can't rate the food. The two of us were there yesterday. It was very crowded but a good atmosphere. When the waiter came, and I understand the stress there is, he asked if we knew what we wanted to order. We said yes for drinks and he then said “two coffees” my partner said: “Wait” turned the page, wanted to tell him which coffee and the waiter went on complaining and said: “that’s why I asked if you already knew what you wanted wanted” and didn’t come back for the next five minutes… we then left… I don’t want to give the entire restaurant a bad rating and I don’t like giving bad ratings. But yesterday the service was unfortunately very bad and we won't go there again. Sorry

Very friendly service...the food was very good...the prices were still reasonable...unfortunately a bit too noisy inside...all in all worth a visit if you are in Münster.

Every year when we go to the Christmas market we stop here for lunch, at least if we can get a table. The latter says enough, just a nice lunch at a reasonable price.

The Klemens in Müster. Actually quite ok, food also ok, but the service is simply different, simply bottomless. You simply get dishes that you didn't order and then you have to pay for them, because they're not even on the menu. Really such a disgrace. My wife and I will definitely not go here again. Furthermore, very, very slow, you wait an incredibly long time until you are served, service staff seem overwhelmed.

Just wow. The portions are really not for the small appetite. The price-performance ratio is really great. I had the Alsatian tarte flambée and really loved it. My special was freshly mixed and also very tasty. When I had to wait a little longer for my tarte flambée (it was really busy), a waiter came straight to me and offered me a coffee on the house as compensation. At Klemens you are served by very friendly staff and are provided with large portions, fresh food and all for a small budget. Simply great.

German cuisine simply has its charm here! )) The menu is beautifully designed: it is written in large font and contains small details about the individual dishes as well as helpful information. You can find everything from delicious appetizers to fine wines. All dishes and individual drinks (such as the homemade iced teas) are freshly prepared. The restaurant offers numerous alternatives, including dishes without bread (in the case of gluten-free diets) and vegetarian dishes. For example, I took a potato burger, and there are also burgers without bread. Regular dishes are also available. We sat inside where it was cozy and quiet, very German style. There is also the option to sit outside. Even in cold weather you get a warm blanket. The service is extremely friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back! 🤩

Drunk Benedictine Hell with two friends. Two of which are served in a glass of Starnberger Hell. On the third glass it said "Veltins" on the front and "The Colorful Bird" on the back (that's the competition!) - well-kept gastronomy looks different! Food okay (in keeping with the comparatively low prices), a little bit of curry or mushroom sauce and fries, good small salad. Service friendly but consistently inattentive.

Sitting outside in the sun on Sunday, overlooked several times by the waitress, an outrageously long wait, I left.

Delicious breakfast, but unfortunately we were treated very unfriendly by the blonde, middle-aged waitress. She constantly rolled her eyes, was bitchy and gossiped about a fellow waiter in front of us who, in contrast to her, was friendly. I understand having a bad day, but no matter how friendly we were, she remained rude throughout. The rest of the staff was much friendlier.

We visited this place after running Munster parkrun and we wanted a nice breakfast. We waited hungry for 40 minutes and then our food finally came. The pancakes were burnt ( cook tried to hide it by turning them upside down), the fried eggs were totally overcooked inside and as soon as we complained the waiter got annoyed and then they just ignored us. How this place is managed is a typical example of untrained understaffed business with probably a "cook" who is not able to fry an egg properly. It's a pity as the atmosphere and location is nice. It baffles me how customers keep coming and except mediocre food and bad service. We will not be coming back and you have been warned.

Always worth a visit for us. The staff is always really friendly and quick. Simply sit and relax in the sun, whether summer or winter.

We had an excellent breakfast for two people. The selection was very plentiful and everything was extremely tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly service staff, which made our visit even more pleasant. We would love to come back and can only recommend this restaurant.

Very central location with the accompanying ambience. Here I easily managed to be completely ignored by the service for over 30 minutes, so I preferred to leave the restaurant.

The food itself tasted quite good, but we had to wait a long time for our drinks (even though the restaurant was empty) and unfortunately the burgers were only lukewarm.

Unfortunately, we have rarely had such a bad breakfast. To greet us, we first had to move around. Due to staff shortages, we were told to sit in one of the first three rows of seats outside. The service here seemed quite annoyed. We then ordered a vital breakfast and an avocado sandwich with a fried egg. The avocado bread came without avocado and without the advertised dried tomatoes. The vital breakfast also came - contrary to what was stated on the menu - without avocado and without mountain cheese. The pumpernickel was pretty dry. Three small and wafer-thin (less than 1 cm thick) slices of baguette or something similar were delivered as supposedly Tollkötter bread, which were really so thin that it was almost impossible to put any toppings on them. In response to my criticism, we were given sun-dried tomatoes and four rubbery strips of unripe avocado. After consulting with the kitchen, the waitress initially answered my question as to whether the thin slices of bread were the promised crazy bread. But when I saw Tollkötter's house bread at the next table, she suddenly said a little later that these guests had received the last Tollkötter bread from the day before. Now it's empty and you can't get anything new on the holiday. During my questions, the waitress rolled her eyes several times in annoyance and shook her head uncomprehendingly. We had every reason to shake our heads. I only give another star because she apologized at the end, became a little friendlier and gave us a hot drink

!!!!!Danger!!!!! Perfidious and cheeky tipping rip-off!!!!!! I was here for cake with my mother on May 16, 2024. The waiter "Kaj" (according to the receipt) served us. It wasn't clear to us anywhere that a 1 euro tip would automatically be added to the final total if you paid the bill with a debit card!! I have never experienced anything like this in Germany!! I took over the bill for both of us using an EC card, the final total was €27.30. I gave the waiter Kaj a 5 euro tip in advance, which I don't do every day given the amount, but the 5 euro note was just within reach and I thought "why not give a little more tip today .."! I thought his reaction was a bit cautious. He thanked me, but not profusely. I then saw the sum of 27.30 euros on the EC card machine and held my EC card to it. I then told the waiter Kaj that I would like the receipt, but he didn't even mention it himself. He also reacted a bit strangely. A short time later he came back to our table and handed me the receipt and muttered something to himself: "A bill that makes you happy." At the time I didn't understand his statement at all and couldn't understand exactly what he meant. I then looked at the receipt and meanwhile Kaj was standing at the table next to us, serving the other guests and watching me, it seemed to me, probably waiting for my reaction. UNFORTUNATELY, I didn't notice at that moment that the final sum of €27.30 was written there in large size and a little smaller underneath it said "girocard €28.30" and under that again "Tip €1"! I would have complained immediately and asked for my 5 euro tip back! But at that point I only paid attention to the items that had been bonked; I only noticed it at home when I looked at the receipt again. I was so confused and scared when I saw this and couldn't believe it. I have never experienced anything like this in Germany, as I said, that the restaurant secretly adds a tip to the final total when paying with a debit card. It wasn't clearly written anywhere that this was the case and the waiter Kaj didn't mention it either. We don't come directly from Münster and were in this restaurant for the first time. But Kaj certainly knew it as an employee and he was visibly uncomfortable and probably glad that I didn't notice it at that moment. That's probably why he was a bit cautious when I gave him the 5 euro tip, because he knows how perfidious and cheeky this restaurant's tactic is. I'm not even interested in the 1 euro, make a nice life out of it if you need it so much. I'm concerned about this brazen behavior and this scam from the restaurant! Many people probably pay with an EC card, the price on the device is correct, but they simply deduct more from their account!!! It is also very hidden on the receipt. The final total is written in capital letters and what comes after is written in small letters. Nobody pays attention to it at first. And hardly anyone checks their receipts (EC card payments) with their account statements. I'm probably one of the few people who does it. Simply 28.30 euros and not 27.30 euros were debited from my account a few days later. Your behavior is an indictment! You must really need it. I always like to tip and sometimes a little more, but I want to decide for myself how much I give and if you deduct more money from your account without permission in the name of the tip/tip, then put up signs in the restaurant or/ and explicitly points this out so that you can take this into account as a guest! I will definitely not recommend you and tell everyone about it!!!!

We went for a quick coffe which wasnt quick at all. The waiter, when he finally came, got our order wrong( two coffees and apfelstrudel, it wasnt that complicated) The cake and the coffee were really tasty, but the service and the attitude of the waiter could be better.

A telephone reservation worked without any problems. The gentleman was very friendly. As well as the service staff. Food was okay. But also rather simple. But tasty. Irritatingly, all of the side salads had raw fries in them. The facility is getting old.

A unique experience. Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. 80% of the tables are blocked for reservations. If you ask for a table you get annoyed. When I canceled the grilled tomato at my breakfast, the waitress responded with an obvious roll of her eyes. I asked the waiter three times if I could pay, but instead he served and collected money from the tables around us and on the terrace. When I pointed out to him the fourth time that I wanted to pay 10 minutes ago, he became rude. I only responded to his curt apology with a yes, which caused him to raise his voice in front of my 2 year old son. He started to cry in distress and only calmed down outside. Luckily for the waiter, I focused on my son. What a successful morning and thank you for the first-class service and the lovely atmosphere. Since all the restaurateurs are just crying about how bad things are going, you would think that they would be more concerned about their guests.

Service quite friendly so far!!! Unfortunately, I think everything is a bit old visually, especially the entrance door (first impression) is very dirty and could use some paint. Still coming back!!

Was ist denn hier passiert? Im letzten Jahr war die Küche doch ganz ok. Und jetzt? Auf die vom Service empfohlenen Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegelei mussten wir eine dreiviertel Stunde warten. Was uns dann serviert wurde war einfach grottenschlecht. Die Bratkartoffeln, ein aufgewärmter Klumpatsch. Und dann fast kalt serviert. Die Spiegeleier tot gebraten. Aus der Salatbeilage tropfte noch das Wasser mit dem sie abgespült wurde. Das nochmalige Aufwärmen dauerte wieder 20 Minuten. Es schmeckte anschließend noch grausamer. Das einzig positive war die netteund verständnisvolle Bedienung. Er hat uns noch einen Gratiskaffee angeboten. Bei der Küche...nie wieder.

Lekker eten voor weinig geld op een leuke plek in Münster

Lange Wartezeit und Essen leider vergessen.

Wir waren zu viert, wollten uns bei Regen nur unterstellen. Konnten jedoch einen Tisch ergattern und haben dann gut 3 Std warm und trocken bei Kaffee, Bier und Essen im Klemens gesessen. Guter Einstieg für den verregneten Weihnachtsmarkt. Immer gerne wieder - aber erst 2024.

Empfehlenswertes Frühstücksrestaurant

Hatten am Freitag Mittag telefonisch für 5 Personen am Samstag Abend 18:30 Uhr reserviert. Die Reservierung wurde nicht notiert. Wir hatten jedoch Glück, dass zu unserer Ankunftszeit ein Tisch für uns frei wurde. Und es war an einem Advents-Samstag natürlich rappelvoll. Der Service war super. Wir hatten 2 x Schnitzel, einmal Burger und 2 x Rösti. Einmal Lachs und einmal Berner Art. Schnitzel und Burger waren gut. Portionen ordentlich und auch geschmacklich gut. Bei den Röstis waren die Portionen zu klein. Ein Rösti, der nicht besonders groß war bei den beiden Varianten. Der sah schon ziemlich verloren aus auf dem Teller. 2 Röstis wären angemessen gewesen.

Schöner Ort zum verweilen. Blick auf den Weihnachtsmarkt, nettes Personal. Die Speisekarte hat sehr lecker Speisen zu bieten. Der weiß Glühwein ist zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente hat etwas. 🤗

Das Essen wie immer sehr lecker 😋, für mich etwas reichlich, aber wie immer gut, wir gehen immer dort hin, wenn wir in Münster sind.

Als Einzelgast hab ich mich "übersehen" gefühlt. Doch alles der Reihe nach: kurz nachdem ich Platz genommen hatte und die Speisekarte kurz studiert hatte, kam die Bedienung und nahm meine Wünsche entgegen. Zunächst hätte ich gerne bis zum Eintreffen des Essens einen Kaffee getrunken. Doch der kam nicht. Nach ca. 15 Minuten kam bereits das Essen (Schnitzel Greco) und ich sagte dem Kellner, dass der bereits bestellte Kaffee storniert werden könne und ich gerne ein Bitburger hätte. Dies kam auch innerhalb kurzer Zeit. Nachdem ich mit Essen fertig war, passierte mindestens 20 Minuten gar nichts. Der Nebentisch war höchstens 5 Minuten mit essen fertig und es wurde abgeräumt. Eher beiläufig wurde auch mein Teller mitgenommen. Dem Wunsch nach Bezahlung wurde umgehend nachgekommen... Die 3 Sterne sind AUSSCHLIESSLICH für die Leistung der Küche

Das allerletzte was ich je erlebt habe Wir hatten einen Tisch und meine Freunde kamen etwas später. Wir haben gut getrunken und waren eigentlich sehr zufrieden. Aber als wir bezahlt hatten, wendet sich das Blatt. Wir sollten den angeblich reservieren Tisch verlassen und an die Theke gehen. Wir hatten aber noch nicht ausgetrunken und sollten umgehend den Platz verlassen. Die Kellnerin wollte nicht mal ihren Namen sagen und hat uns gebeten das Lokal zu verlassen. Das ist das schlechteste was ich je erlebt habe. Wenn der Tisch wirklich reserviert gewesen wäre, dann hätte man das bestimmt vorher gewusst und auch gesagt. So eine freche Kellerin, die mich sogar unterbricht wenn ich mit anderen Personen vom Nebentisch spreche. Raus sonst rufe ich die Polizei. Das sagte sie. Hat mich aber wenig beeindruckt. Sonst waren wir immer sehr zufrieden, auch die Party war immer sehr schön. Durch solche Mitarbeiter steht und fällt ein Geschäft. War jetzt schon ein paar Mal dort und es war alles gut. Heute war alles gut, Personal freundlich und Kaffee schmeckte.

Man kann gut draußen sitzen bei Sonnenschein. Die Waffel war auch gut, für den Preis jedoch bisschen klein. Der Kakao hat ein bisschen wässrig geschmeckt, was halt passiert wenn er aus der Maschine kommt.

Am Samstag hier gefrühstückt, zackige freundliche Kellerin , die alle Änderungswünsche umsetzen konnte, obwohl ihr etwas Unterstützung sehr gut tun würde . Gutes Frühstück, nettes Ambiente, werde wieder kommen.

Es war einfach toll für die ganze Familie. Es war auch nicht so teuer und mega lecker. Vergleichbares findet man nicht so einfach. Wir kommen wieder schon alleine für den Marzipannusskirschkuchen. Service war auch super alle total freundlich. Aber unsere Bedienung war der Hammer. Danke für einen schönen Abend.

Ich war das erste Mal für ein paar Tage in Münster und bin häufig ins Klemens gegangen. Dort stimmte alles und die Bedienung war außerordentlich nett und aufmerksam!

Entgegen vorherigen Bewertungen, wurden wir eine nett bedient. Auch haben wir einen schönen Platz gehabt, allerdings sind die Tische sehr eng gestellt. Nur das Essen ... unterirdisch! Mein Salat bestand aus einer Handvoll Blätter aus einer Mischpackung, ein paar Nussbröseln, vier kleinen halben !! Käsetalern und zwei kleine Scheibchen Brot, die sich, aus Scham über diesen lieblos schlecht belegten Teller, bereits bogen. Schade. Hier reicht es definitiv nur für ein schnelles Getränk beim Stadtbummel.

Lekker om eenborrel te drinken, vriendelijke bediening, slechte keuken. Heerlijk terras maar het eten is zeer matig. Als hè naar de toiletten gaat loop je langs de keuken en dat is gewoon vies!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung denen die Arbeit noch Spaß macht. Essen war schmackhaft und reichlich. Preise sind ok. Lokalität modern.

Vom Frühstück bis zum Abend ist man im Klemens gut aufgehoben. Die Bedienung immer freundlich und aufmerksam,das Essen immer immer gut. Die Schnitzel sind meine Favoriten!

I do not recommend this cafe, they served spoiled and cold goulash soup, also ordered a schnitzel with potatoes, the potatoes were cold and not fresh, it seems they cooked yesterday and warmed up. We told the waiter about it, he apologized, but did not take any action.

Wir waren spontan im Klemens. Wenn am Freitagabend ohne Reservierung ein Platz zu haben ist, sollte man skeptisch werden. Die Preise sind gering (Schnitzel mit Beilage für unter 10 €), das Essen ist jedoch entsprechend. Wer für bescheidene Preise wenig erwartet, ist hier richtig.

Wir waren zu viert dort und saßen an einem Tisch der in einer Ecke stand draußen auf der Terrasse. Mein Mann und ich mit dem Rücken zum Geschehen .. bedingt durch eine Knöchelverletzung muss ich nach langem Laufen zwischendurch meine Beine etwas hochlegen... das habe ich dann auch gemacht und legte meine regelmäßige vom einem Fußpfleger gepflegten Füße auf den Schoß meines Mannes , als ein Kellner kam und mich deutlich unfreundlich und laut bat dieses zu unterlassen ... da andere Gäste schließlich essen würden .... diese Reaktion -bei allem Verständnis - hätte ich nachvollziehen können , wenn wir nur ansatzweise einen anderen Gast in unsere Nähe gehabt hätten .., doch dem war nicht so ... und dann hätte ich dies auch erst garnicht getan... ich war wirklich sprachlos und werde dieses Café nicht wieder aufsuchen , meine Begleitung ebensowenig..,

Wir waren mit der Familie heute zum Frühstück dort. Zunächst auf der haben Seite: das Rührei war lecker und saftig, der Kuchen war frisch gebacken und mir gefielen die Wraps/Flammkuchen. Nicht so gut gefallen haben mir die Brötchen und die Akkustil, als es sich füllte ( waren pünktlich zur Öffnung da). Leider gab es auch sonst convinience Produkte, hatte mir da vielleicht lieber mehr Auswahl bei den Aufstriche gewünscht. Rundum, war es gut und bringt für jeden etwas mit.

Für eien Kaffepause ein gutes Lokal mit schöner Terasse und gepflegten Getränken. Zentral gelegen das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Über die Küche können wir keien Aussage machen. Die Toiletten sind eine Kathstrophe.

Lekkere maaltijden voor een goede prijs. Leuk personeel die van een grapje houden, je kan de keuken in kijken hoe het eten word gemaakt.

Die zentrale Lage lädt zum verweilen ein. Die Speisekarte hat überwiegend einfache Gerichte wie Schnitzel Flammkuchen und Burger zu bieten. Zwischen Bestellung und Fertigstellung vergingen nur 15 Minuten...wir sprechen hier also nicht unbedingt von frischer Küche. Dafür sind die Gerichte nicht teuer. Getränke eher am oberen Level. Für Touris aufgrund der Lage sicher Anlaufstelle... Einheimische finden besseres

Sind regelmäßig zum Frühstück dort, leider scheint es zwischenzeitlich Personalmangel zu geben. Dadurch längere Wartezeiten, Brötchen knapp belegt, Toilettenpapier fehlt auf mehreren Toiletten. Schade, da sucht man dann nach Alternativen!

Der Kellner war cool drauf ! Das essen war sehr lecker und generell waren wir super zufrieden und hatten einen schönen Abend und würden aufjedenfall wiederkommen :)

Wir wollten mit unser Familie hier Frühstücken, als nach 20 Minuten noch niemand eine Bestellung aufgenommen hat sind wir ins Stadt Cafe (direkt nebenan) gegen. Klemens nie wieder!!!

Niet veel bijzonders. Verschillende tafels werden vrij gehouden wegens gereserveerd waardoor we als groep uit elkaar moesten. Tafels bleven echter leeg. Onpersoonlijke aanpak.
