MACELLUM in Münster

Wir waren auf einen Samstagabend dort. Wurden direkt schnell bedient. Es gab auch Speiseempfehlungen außerhalb der normalen Karte. Dennoch für die Kalbsbäckchen entschieden. Topp. Sehr lecker. Die Kombination „Eisdiele“ und Restaurant funktioniert gut.

Tolle Speisekarte und immer leckere wechselnde Tageskarte

Das Eis war sehr gut, aber die Karte äußerst spartanisch und auch die Auswahl könnte etwas größer sein.

War nicht ganz so doll. Flammkuchen gab es nicht, weil der Backofen mit Kuchen belegt war und ein Teller hälftig mit Carpaccio und Vitello Tonnato war nach Rücksprache mit anscheinend dem Chef auch nicht möglich. Da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Marcellum in Münster. Wir saßen draußen 🌞😎 und wurden hervorragend bedient. Das Schwarzbier, der Espresso und der Original Münsterländer Aperitif mit Amerie waren perfekt! Das Personal war extrem aufmerksam und freundlich. 😀 Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Köstliche Mandarinen-Käsekuchen, tolles Kaffeeerlebnis, gemütlicher Ort für eine Pause oder ein Mittagessen.

Im Rahmen einer Firmenfeier mit über 50 Personen haben wir uns aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen für das Restaurant Macellum entschieden. Das Essen war hervorragend, der Service top organisiert, aufmerksam, schnell und dabei sehr sehr herzlich & freundlich. Selbst kurzfristige Änderungen unsererseits, wie eine erhöhte Personenzahl, wurden professionell und flexibel gehandhabt. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend in toller Atmosphäre. Das Feedback von Allen war ausschließlich positiv. Ich kann das Restaurant und den Service von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Sehr leckere Eisbecher und wirklich netter Service.

Gutes Gebäck und schneller Service. Drinnen etwas eng. Geräumige Terrasse. Eigentlich 3,5 Sterne.

Durchschnittlicher Eisbecher, allerdings in einer schönen Waffel. Bedienung freundlich, aber ein Lächeln wäre auch nett gewesen.

Angenehmer..Wohlfühlort..super Essen..mit freundlichem Personal..und schon hat man sein Essen auf dem Tisch...ist auffallend GUT🫴🏻💛..bin gerne dort... auch mal zwischendurch alleine ..man wird gesehen...und das hat einen grossen Wert !!

Sehr angenehme Location im Herzen der Stadt, egal ob draußen oder drinnen. Aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service, leckeres Essen, guter Kaffee, Preise sind für die Lage völlig ok. Man sitzt immer gut, oft wird einem bei Hochbetrieb ein Tisch nach kurzer Zeit zugewiesen, was wir einen tollen Service finden. Und drinnen kann man sich auch bei vollem Haus sehr gut unterhalten, wegen der guten Akustik ist es angenehm leise. Wir sind immer gerne hier.

Durch eine Empfehlung im Bekanntenkreis bin ich auf das MACELLUM aufmerksam geworden. Das MACELLUM überzeugt in allen Kategorien, mit sehr aufmerksamen Service, qualitativ sehr hochwertigem Essen und zu guter Letzt mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Stadt Münster. Mein absoluter Geheimtipp für jemandem der gerne mal Süßes isst: Das selbstgemacht Eis, es gibt wirklich viele verschiedene Eissorten

Wir sind regelmäßig im macellum. Das Eis ist unschlagbar lecker. Die Speisen ebenfalls, wenn auch preislich etwas hoch. Was neuerdings garnicht mehr einladend ist und ein Grund nicht mehr zu kommen ....das auf allen Tischen, so wie gestern an einem kalten verschneiten Wintertag "reserviert "schilder standen,..nur an den zwei Tischen zu den Toiletten und denen mit den hohen Sitz Hockern nicht. Das ist uns jetzt wiederholt passiert. Wir haben dann Abstand von dem Besuch im macellum genommen und sind im kleinen kiepenkerl gewesen. Das hat uns besser gefallen, kein reserviert schilder. Das Restaurant war gut besucht Auf dem Rückweg sind wir am macellum vorbei gekommen. 6 Tische besetzt. Vielleicht überlegen Sie es sich und schaffen die reserviert Schilder ab und reservieren nur die wirklich reservierten Tische. Das ist jedenfalls keine gute Idee. Dafür würde ich am liebsten nur 1 Stern vergeben

Das Essen und die Mitarbeiter bekommen von uns ein sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls sehr gemütlich. Wir sind dem Menuvorschlag gefolgt und haben ein sehr leckeres Essen, incl. Nachspeise, passendem Wein und Likör / Schnaps genießen dürfen. Auch die Waffeln, der Apfelstrudel und das Eis sind sehr zu empfehlen. Der leckere Kaffee rundet alles ab. Wir waren rundum begeistert, vielen Dank an das gesamte Macellum Team.

Angesagter, athmosphärischer Italiener mit relativ kleiner, aber feiner und ein breites Spektrum abdeckender Karte. Wer Pizza sucht, wird hier nicht fündig. Sehr, sehr netter und guter Service. Reservierung empfohlen. Wunderbar, sehr empfehlenswert 👍👍👍.

Leckeres Mittagessen, angenehme Atmosphäre!

In hervorragender Lage wird hier ein Hybrid aus Eiscafé und italienischem Restaurant angeboten. Das klappt besser, als man allgemein vermuten würde. Das Personal arbeitet wirklich fleißig und professionell, um alles unter Kontrolle zu behalten.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit herausragendem Essen und Service. Ich komme gerne wieder.

I've been to Macellum several times. Every time, I've enjoyed fantastic food and truly attentive service. They catered to my every need. I always feel very comfortable in this restaurant and highly recommend it. The ice cream is also simply superb. The Münsterland Herrencreme is my absolute favorite, and it's a must-try whenever I visit Münster :-)

A very nice ice cream parlor where you can also eat very well. The value for money is absolutely reasonable, the service is excellent, the food is good, and the wine selection is small but includes very good ones. If you're looking for a quiet restaurant, this is not the place for you, but the rest of the menu is really good!

We come here regularly and are always impressed. The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming—you hardly find that kind of thing these days! The coffee is delicious, and you just feel completely at home. A real favorite spot! ☕💛

A definite recommendation! Centrally located, easily accessible on foot and by bike. Cars must be parked in the surrounding parking garages; reservations are essential. Seats are available inside and outside. Service is excellent, as is the food. There's no pizza, but they do have great tarte flambée. The goat cheese was our favorite, and the ice cream was fantastic. We'd love to come back!

I was in Münster a few weeks ago and stumbled upon Macellum by chance. The ice cream is truly outstanding. Their own ice cream creations were also very good. A day later, I ate there as well – top-notch service and personal service! The food was delicious... Next time I'm in Münster, I'll definitely stop by! Ice cream as good as in Italy itself! Please keep it up...

Very good ice cream. You can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the city center.

Everything was good, very busy, the food was good and reasonably priced, and the service was quite attentive. Some of the tables were wobbly, but they were trying to rectify this. A few fewer tables would have been nice.

The best spaghetti ice cream for miles around, with strawberries, a decent strawberry sauce, lots of white chocolate, and served in a delicious waffle cone. Several waiters create a good atmosphere. It's sometimes quite cramped inside. Note: two people are only allowed to sit at two-person tables; understandable, but I deduct a point for ambiance for that. Always busy.

A lovely restaurant with a café and ice cream parlor. The prices are a bit above average at €1.90 or €2 per scoop. However, the selection is very large and the quality is also very good.

Large terrace in a beautiful location in the city center. Ordered two coffees and apple pies. Together they spent €20. Good quality. It was strange, however, that due to the crowd, the waiter seated three strangers at our table. It made things awkward.

Very good ice cream. Nice seating. But the conditions were unfriendly! The two colleagues (male and female) didn't get along well either. I was especially referring to the waitress outside! That's why there was no tip! And it wasn't the first time. They were having a bad day: doesn't count. Too bad.

A very nice Italian restaurant in a great location. The food is excellent. Everything we ordered, as shown in the photos, was not only impeccable but also extremely tasty. This isn't our first time here, and certainly won't be the last.

2 balls of ice cream. Latta Macchiato practically tasteless. Watermelon landed straight in the trash can. Too bad. Queued for a long time. But not worth its price.

Great ice cream and more. We ate spaghetti ice cream and a Yogurette cup here. The ice cream arrived super quickly and it was a large, delicious portion. The ice cream was served in a waffle cup which I thought was really cool, it was something different. The other food that was served at the other tables also looked and smelled delicious. I want to try this next time as good as it looked. The outside seating area is very nice and well maintained, just like the inside.

The spaghetti ice cream with strawberries, which don't have to be there and shouldn't be there, was a grade C in terms of taste. The strawberries were not specified and the almond slivers were too large and hard. A little too small and nothing special in terms of taste. The cream was barely visible. The rhubarb curd was delicious.

Very personal atmosphere, tasty food

Very nice restaurant and with an integrated ice cream parlor. We love going there to eat ice cream and drink coffee. So far we haven't had anything to complain about. The ice cream is very tasty and we like the ambience too. We have already visited several ice cream parlors in Münster, but Macellum is by far the best ice cream parlor!!!!

We were there for dinner. The service was attentive, but also sometimes absent. We both enjoyed the food. The prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not nice and there are a lot of tables in a very small space. There's not really any comfort here. Still, the overall result is very decent.

Enjoy delicious and special ice cream and then the delicious waffle with a view outside through the many windows... a nice place to enjoy, unfortunately I haven't gotten past the ice cream and the delicious organic coffee yet. Schokmok with solid cream is also particularly good.

First of all, we were invited there by our friends. The reservation worked perfectly, so we secured our table in the fairly full restaurant. The service there was very well coordinated, we noticed that throughout the entire evening. And above all, they were in a good mood. We never had to wait long - they were always there. Our three-course dinner was consistently good to very good in every respect. Although it wasn't exactly cheap, it was worth every cent - thank you! We would love to come back 👍🏻

Organic tea was delicious and the cheesecake was also very good and not too sweet! Ambiance was good. Service nice. Toilets OK although the floor was already a bit sticky and around 11:30 a.m. Found it a bit uncomfortable. The menu was a bit spotty and didn't look that appealing anymore. Nevertheless, I would go again.

We ordered a table for 3 people yesterday on December 7th, 2024. It was during Advent. We were expecting a bit of a Christmas atmosphere. Unfortunately in this direction - NOTHING - My walker was taken away from me right in the entrance and was placed in a corner that couldn't be seen. The order was then processed quite quickly and unfriendly - No greeting - No time of day - Not a nice word - The food was very nice The dish (salad with fig spaghetti) also tasted very good. Praise for the chef. 30 minutes was probably too long for them. It was probably asking too much to eat in peace - BUT - I then paid - a 10% tip and then we were literally thrown out. I had to look for my walker and we were pushed and had to make room for the next guests. I've never experienced anything like that. We don't know yet whether we'll come back again. The cook had conjured up some tasty food. We're still thinking about it -

We went there for dinner during the week, the service is really not good on some days, but the food is fantastic. My special recommendation is the fried goat cheese. I've never had such a delicious salad with a great dressing, and the other dishes also taste really good.

We had a great time in this restaurant. The reception was perfect: despite the crowds, the team remained friendly and attentive. We were particularly pleased that we were spontaneously offered water for our dog - a very appreciated gesture. On the culinary side, we enjoyed a generous and perfectly fried veal liver, accompanied by a delicious homemade puree. And the baked pumpkin strudel. A wonderful combination of taste and generous portions. And for dessert an apple strudel, delicious! A place we can highly recommend for both the quality of the service and the dishes.

The best ice cream in town! And also very, very tasty, freshly baked cake. But what surprised me a bit negatively is the price for a waffle (without everything!) to go: €5.90. In my opinion that can hardly be justified.

Service is terrible. We ordered ice cream at the counter, wanted to sit down to eat it, got send away because we ordered it "to go". Middle of the week loads of empty tables. We were told that if you order ice cream when you sit down it's another price. They were very rude about it. Just place a sign at the ice cream counter and all this can be avoided.

So I wouldn't choose strawberries or raspberries. The best ice cream is without a doubt the Pina colada, but that flavor is not always available.
