I ordered online and had ordered cheesy sucuk fries. 20 minutes later I got a message that the fries weren't available at the moment and that I should choose something else. Then I chose fries that were 2 euros more expensive because the only cheaper option was regular fries. And to be honest, if I owned a restaurant I would always accommodate the customer, especially if the customer had ordered several times before. This was definitely my last order in this shop because they care more about 2 euros than customer satisfaction. The restaurant suggested I get regular fries which were 2 euros cheaper than what I had paid for. Since I had already paid for everything online, I could only cancel at this point. This was definitely my last order.

The fries themselves are good, but I found the toppings rather disappointing. The gravy (the gravy that goes on top of classic poutine) tasted like a ready-made product. The cheese sauce still tastes of flour/starch. The preparation time was really too long for fast food. It's really just fries with ready-made toppings on top, so it should really be ready in 5 minutes.

Food okay Can definitely be recommended

I ordered online and was told the delivery time would be 45-60 minutes. Now two hours have passed, and I'm still waiting for the food. Two hours or more for a few fries is just embarrassing.

Order dated February 18, 5:02 PM Ordered for delivery. Not only was the delivery time + 30 minutes exceeded, but part of the delivery was also missing. The people who received their portions were also disappointed with the quality. When I called to inquire about the missing item, I was told that they didn't have an order number. Delivery service: Lieferando, at least the missing dish was promptly refunded. But it didn't fill me up either. Not recommended!

Frittenwerk is a modernly furnished chip shop in the style of a chain restaurant. The menu includes fries, currywurst, and poutine dishes. You can order via a terminal or ask the staff at the counter. The prices are reasonable. The currywurst with fries for €7.90 is decent, but nothing more. The background music is a bit too loud and modern for me personally. But that's a matter of taste, as we all know.

It was tasty, and that's about all. Not a special place, staff was short. The fries themselves were very tasteless and the sauce could have been a lot better. Fries were also cold quite quickly. I had asked for the vegan cheese with my order, but I couldn't taste any of it, it looked like they had added a tablespoon of it (see photo). Concept is nice but there are still many areas for improvement.

Super tasty, extremely large portions and great atmosphere

We have rarely eaten such delicious French fries. The sauce for the currywurst was so fruity and delicious. The furnishings with lots of green plants are simply beautiful and cozy. We will happily eat there again on our next trip to Münster.

Not good at all. The fries didn't taste good because they were very soggy from the sauces. You probably have to accept this. We've waited a long time. The service was not friendly and sometimes sleepy.

In times of gastronomy slump, one can only congratulate the inventors of this system catering system. A well-visited chip shop with restaurant-level prices that works with a small number of staff. Order at the machine (they seriously ask for tips here) – pick up your food – clear the paper plates yourself. A deposit is even charged for drinks drunk in the restaurant - 15ct per bottle. The poutines taste good - two stars for that. Everyone should question the prices for fries with sauce for themselves.

Ich bestellte die Currywurst Spezial. Geschmacklich waren Wurst und Pommes im Grundsatz gut. Sehr unglücklich ist aber die Art der Anrichtung: Serviert wird in einer Pappschale, unten liegen die Pommes darüber und drum herum die Wurststücke. Die Folge ist, dass die Pommes in der Curry Sauce ertrinken, während die Wurst kaum Curry Sauce abbekommt. Umgekehrt ist es mit der Mayo, die nicht zu den Pommes gelangt, sondern auf den Wurststückchen liegt. So gibt es dann Currywurst ohne Curry Sauce, aber mit Mayo und Pommes ohne Mayo, aber in Curry Sauce. Die klassische, links/rechts-Verteilung wäre eindeutig vorzugswürdig.

The Frittenwerk in Münster is simply unbeatable! 🍟😍 The fries are an absolute dream and the creative toppings take it even further. The decor is modern and inviting, which makes the atmosphere super pleasant. The central location makes it the perfect place for a snack in the city 🤤

I was at Frittenwerk Münster this week. The ordering machines work relatively intuitively. You will then receive a pickup code. The restaurant was relatively empty and after about 10 minutes we got our food. I ordered a BBQ pulled pork poutine with sweet potato fries and cola. The pulled pork was good, unfortunately it was the only thing that was good. The fries were soggy from it Fat from the pulled pork and the coleslaw that was nicely spread over the fries. Then I had to drink something and then realized that I had gotten a ColaZero. So I went to the checkout to exchange it and was told that I could have seen it before I drank it, but I got a new Coke. No apology for their mistake but well, that's how it is today. There is actually no service at all... you order and pay at the machine, you have to pick up your food yourself, take the dishes away yourself and are then asked for a tip when you pay with a card. Unfortunately, the price of the restaurant is in the higher price segment that is usually the case these days.

Little staff. Way too long of a wait for fries with stuff on top. Relatively dirty locally. The floor is full of leaves and used cloths. Food is delicious as always!!

Welcome to system catering! I like the atmosphere and the ordering machines immediately reminded me of the two large fast food chains. The price with a drink for an exceptional fries (in my case pulled pork) is between 14-15 euros. You'll definitely feel full, even if the portions don't seem large. Visually, the food looks a bit nice, but it's always the same standard procedures and that's probably exactly the problem. The pulled pork was good, just like the special side dishes of my companions. The portion preparation is done according to plan F and therefore the staff is unlikely to notice if something like the fries are undercooked or a side dish is cold (which is heated in the microwave). The risk of recurrence is clearly ruled out for us.

The design concept is appealing. Unfortunately the food was below average. (French fries soggy, one of the portions cold even though we were the only ones next to another table, sauces extremely sweet.) If you have to have fries, go somewhere else. 😅

Totally incompetent. Pre-ordered food twice, after 20 minutes (the shop was empty) when I arrived they started making the food (then why pre-order it?). Orders are still misunderstood on site. And given the bottles of things. Been there 3 times and dissatisfied each time!!!

My order was mixed up by the driver and not replaced. He didn't care about it either. After 30 minutes of discussion I gave up because he didn't even understand me. I called the restaurant and was passed on several times. I was told that my order didn't exist. I received an order number, an incorrect order and paid money for it. Same thing at Food Brother, only no one answered the phone. I was simply rejected and hung up on. Can you ORDER FOOD ANYWHERE here?!

Delicious fries with sauce, and FALAFEL but this pinch too expensive, I hope cheaper prices

The restaurant looks very attractive inside. The food: disappointing. One star for the fries, unfortunately everything else wasn't satisfactory. The toilets were very dirty, there was no toilet paper or paper to dry your hands.

Unfortunately not so good anymore. We were there this afternoon and are totally disappointed. The fries, which are actually the Frittenwerk's flagship product, were undercooked and soggy. The currywurst was ok, but only ok. There are certainly much better sausages on the market. What also bothered us was the lack of cleanliness, the store wasn't well attended, and yet the leftovers from the guests who sat there before us weren't cleared away. Our table was empty, but it was disgustingly sticky. So he hadn't been wiped. What doesn't work at all is the cleanliness of the toilets. I don't want to describe what it looked like there. Surely there are guests who can't behave and leave the quiet place behind as if a wild sow had raced through it, but a hygienic toilet still has to be provided. The Frittenwerk needs to urgently improve the salt mine. I won't be visiting the Frittenwerk again because the food is really hard on my stomach,

Noise levels from music at almost 70db spoil the mood and the food. "Managing director says we can't keep it quieter." Does this make people eat faster?

The service was great, as there were 5 of us there and there was a lot to carry, a young lady was happy to help straight away. Unfortunately the portions are getting smaller and smaller, but it's still delicious! I absolutely have to complain about the women's toilet 🚽, incredibly dirty! The tiles, the floor and the toilets themselves were incredibly disgusting! This is absolutely not possible and should be checked every now and then because you can't expect anyone to do that

What a meatball grill, Knofi fries & currywurst with mayo ordered, you have to look for the curry sauce, a few ridiculous splashes of mayo that you thought, so tiny and can be put on there and that alone. The jalapenos were like pickles but never spicy. The staff was overwhelmed, the floor was smeared, the tables were not clean and in some places there was rubbish under the table. The flagship of a local are always the toilets, they were underground, ask the toilet lady at Karstadt if she starts with you, flashes of blank without a musty. Actually, I should have asked the staff where your location was, they would have probably said: "First, smell the smell, then where the most flies are. I won't be coming back to you anytime soon, well done.

The price clouds the overall picture. Good fries, crispy, hot, delicious. Not a bit sticky. Great toppings. But for 2 fries + 2 drinks and 12 micro falafel balls €32.90 is just too much. Although the decor and music (not too loud) are great. Ambiance is right! But the girls have to scream across the store. Just put displays in the second room. And the price. Conclusion The food is really tasty and good but for the price you also get a big fat bowl or 6 kebabs. Conditional recommendation.

Very smartly furnished, food was quite good, although I found €9.50 for a box of fries and meat a bit much. The service could also have been a little friendlier. Otherwise it's really nice there.

I ordered today and it hasn't arrived for over an hour. I called the restaurant twice and only had a bad-speaking employee on the phone. I don't have a problem with it if you don't understand a few things, but he simply couldn't understand my question It's a shame, I hope I get the money back

We waited 25 minutes for 1 curry sausage fries. That really can't be the case at these prices. It's not the first time we've had to wait so long for an order. I don't see the problem with the employees themselves, as they do a great job and are friendly. The problem is the company's personnel requirements planning, as there are simply not enough employees planned. As a result, the order is pushed further and further back. Something definitely has to change!!! I cannot recommend this location and would advise getting my fries elsewhere.

We have already been to the Frittenwerk in Düsseldorf and Berlin and have had quite positive experiences so far. Unfortunately not here. Apart from the fact that half of the drinks were not available, ordering at the self-terminal went smoothly. We paid a little over 30 euros for 2x fries with kebab and 2x drinks... that's not cheap (15 EUR for a menu). The restaurant is nicely decorated but the tables were quite "greasy" and stuck. Unfortunately, the biggest point of criticism is the food. The fries were undercooked and mushy. The meat was cold! The food was heavy on both of our stomachs for the rest of the day. It's a shame, a "frite factory" should be able to do one thing above all else... crispy fries. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Therefore we do not recommend it.

I ordered the vegan currywurst special with garlic fries with guacamole, mayo and a few toppings (parsley, falafel) that went well together. In the end I paid €15. It's expensive... And WITHOUT a drink. But the food was delicious and filled you up. With a drink I ended up with 20€. For that money you can get a real meal in other restaurants. Location is chic and modern. I had a question for the chef about the food, which he answered in passing. Only the cook and one other employee were available but there wasn't much going on. Conclusion: Tasty, but priced too high in my opinion. Plus point: There is enough on offer for vegans and vegetarians

Unfortunately, I'm too old for restaurants like this. It's quite difficult to order at terminals. When the food is ready, the whole store is announced loudly and they pick up their food at the counter. Even if, as was the case with us, there were no other customers there and in my opinion they wouldn't have been out of their minds to bring the food to us, an elderly couple, we had to get it. On the one hand, it's understandable that when you order at the terminal you're asked to pay a tip directly, after all you hardly have any contact with the staff, but on the other hand you ask yourself, what is it for? I usually tip for good service. Unfortunately, the food is only served on disposable dishes with a disposable fork. Sustainable is different. Too bad. I liked the look of the place.

The ambience only gets three stars from us. Unfortunately, despite the autumnal temperatures, it was not possible to eat indoors in peace because we were attacked by wasps. My friend was stung twice by the animals, even though he didn't attack them Unfortunately another table in another corner didn't solve the problem.

Pleasant atmosphere and friendly employee

Unfortunately I have to downgrade my previous 5 star rating. Maybe I was unlucky the last two or three times, but things have eased up a bit now: * The portions that were once appropriately generous are now really poor. Paying over 7 euros for this now is really expensive. Additionally, the portion size doesn't really seem standardized. Depending on which employee, the portions are sometimes small and sometimes larger. * Even though it's not busy, you have to wait longer for the fries every time. * Employees are often not really motivated and tend to have a “no interest” attitude. * This “hip” calling of fantasy names for the respective orders offers no advantages whatsoever. Quite the opposite! At normal volume you can't understand a word, the staff often whispers the names, and 3/4 of the customers don't understand the concept behind it either. Please just make a board with numbers...that would make everything easier.

Frittenwerk Münster - Where you as a customer are a nuisance, but your wallet is welcome... Yesterday we visited the Frittenwerk after a shopping trip in the beautiful city center of Münster. Although the restaurant was hardly attended, no one took any notice of us. It was clean and attractively furnished, but unfortunately it was far too warm and there was obviously no air conditioning. We had to order ourselves at the terminal. It should be a fries, fried chicken sticks, a cola and a double portion of currywurst. The picture of it suggested a decent portion, but the price of 9 euros for the currywurst alone also led to corresponding expectations. In addition to the already steep price, we also had to pay a deposit for the Coke from the bottle, even though we had chosen to consume it in the restaurant. The deposit was not returned. For the individual customer it's only 15 cents and therefore probably not enough reason to complain about it, for the restaurant at the end of the day it's a nice extra income and a business practice that I've never experienced before. The food came in a reasonable time and was tasty, but you had to pick it up at the counter yourself. When we arrived at the table, we discovered that the "double" portion of currywurst was so small that we were convinced we had been accidentally handed a single portion. It was clearly just a chopped up sausage. That's why I tried to complain about it. Without turning around from the grill, the employee told me that it was a double portion. From her reaction I can only conclude that she hears this more than once a day. It's definitely not polite. After eating we cleaned up the trash ourselves. Conclusion: Non-existent service (yet you are asked at the terminal whether you would like to give a tip), unfriendly staff, very poor price/performance ratio. So we were there twice yesterday. For the first and last time.

The food is super tasty but the employees are sometimes incredibly different when it comes to preparation and organization! On Sunday everything took a long time and the sauces were almost non-existent. Fries are tasty and good for a fair price. The portions are prepared slightly differently depending on the employee, but never bad. Store cozy. However, it could be a little quicker and it would be much more pleasant with beeps or numbers instead of calling out the artificial names.

Um hier eine Portion Pommes Frites mit Knoblauchgewürz zu bekommen, erhält man nach der Bezahlung einen Kassenbon und muss bei fast leerem Geschäft 15 Minuten auf die Pommes warten. Ich habe mich eine halbe Stunde nach dem Essen übergeben müssen. Nie wieder.

Delicious fries in many different versions 😋 Was back in Münster today, so fries+ again

Feels like a rip off. We ordered at the self-order terminal and stated that we wanted to eat on site. Nevertheless we had to pay the deposit for the drinks. And didn't get it back. There are two deposits for the company. And it's almost cheeky that they ask for a tip even though the order is placed and picked up. Unfortunately, the waiting time for the food is also enormous.

Never eaten such hot and delicious fries! Gladly again!

Delicious food in different combinations

I've always wanted to go here... And today was the day. The ambience is suitable and appealing, the organization is good (you have to be nearby to notice when the food you ordered is ready for pickup). Price-performance is often criticized - €28 for "2x fries with something on them" and 2 drinks is a lot, but you also have to take the location, rooms and ambience (moss on the walls and ferns...!) into account and you can't only see the value of the goods. - I wasn't happy with the pulled pork fries, they were wet and soggy from the pulled pork and salad, I've had better elsewhere. I also wonder about wet pulled pork - juicy, yes, I like it, but not wet... The service was friendly and professional in communication. The young woman who took the order at the checkout had gel nails and finger jewelry, which irritated me in the restaurant, but I thought she was just at the checkout. Later, when I was waiting for our food near the serving area, I saw that she was also active in production. I had to watch as another employee - also with long gel nails, several rings on each hand and bracelets - fixed her hair with her hands in the narrow aisle between trays and fries and then reached into a chip bowl to get it to fill - without at least washing your hands in between. Why do you straighten your hair in the kitchen area? I discreetly told the employee that I didn't think that was okay and that she could at least wash her hands after fixing her hair. The young woman at the checkout routinely took over the conversation and thanked her for the feedback, saying that yes, that wasn't okay - but communication isn't everything. That doesn't work at all. Everyone visibly working there, including those apparently responsible, worked with gel nails and hand jewelry and ignored basic hygiene regulations. How unsavory.

There were three of us there in the evening. There's no need to expect anything in terms of taste. It looks better than it actually tastes. You get a pick-up slip, but you're in the other room, Strangely enough, you don't know when you can pick it up. Either constantly stand in front of the counter or walk over every now and then. Locations very good, facilities really good. But food, well.

We had lunch there with 3 people. After we ordered at the terminal, the food was prepared fairly quickly. Unfortunately the fries were only lukewarm. But it still tasted good. Paid a little over €45 for 3 people including drinks. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio doesn't quite match. But I would eat there again.

Better snack. Food was neither good nor bad, so OK. The lemon ajoli was delicious. At the end, the garlic fries just get a little garlic oil poured over them, which tastes good, but when combined with the pulled pork and the moist coleslaw, it ends up causing the fries to float and the bottom layer to become soggy. In the future, I'd rather invest the €10.00 in something else and something tastier.

Fun sized fries variations that can be interesting for french fries lovers. They are not to my personal taste but it was definitly worth to experience them once. The local is a bit too small to facilitate long term stay. The service was good though.

The food itself was delicious. The falafel was nice and juicy and tasty. The many vegan options are to be encouraged. However, I have to complain about the fact that, despite eating in the restaurant, there was no use of disposable cutlery and crockery. The poutines were served in a cardboard bowl and the only cutlery available was wooden forks. There was a paper (?) pad on each serving tray. Everything was then disposed of in the same garbage container. The garbage was probably not separated. What speaks against washable plates and classic cutlery when consumed in a restaurant? Some of the waste produced can certainly be avoided.

The Frittenwerk in Münster shines with its specialization in fries. I'm sorry if it's 2 or 3 stars. The shop looks inviting, industrial style, wood with metal, exactly my taste. The service was nothing to complain about, except for the shouting when an order was ready. That should be changed. The most important thing is to eat, and I'm very disappointed. For €9.80, the Istanbul menu includes fries soaked in raw vegetables with sauce and a touch of chicken on top. To be honest, unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't match here. In addition, deposits on drinks bottles are a no go. The cutlery takes some getting used to. The experience: Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately without WiFi it's a shame. Would I come here again or recommend it to others? I definitely know what to expect here.

I can only recommend eating at Frittenwerk, the staff is super nice and welcoming. I go there every time I'm in Münster. I have to particularly mention the employee Nathalie, as she is always very friendly and seems to have a lot of fun with her job. :)

I think it's too expensive. For a few fries with stuff on them and a drink for over 18 euros, I think it's worth it. Ambiance is simple and typically geared towards fast food. You can do it, but you don't have to.

Anyone who loves fries is in seventh heaven here. Great selection, including vegan dishes. The shop has a very cool interior design and the garlic fries are to die for. The food is always ready quickly.

Food is expensive for its low quality (usually frozen, nothing is homemade), chicken fingers probably the worst. Service has nothing bad, but you can make the order through screens and there is no waiter service.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort. Ambiente war okay, aber das Essen war beim ersten Mal kalt, wir haben es umgehen lassen. Beim 2ten Mal waren die Pommes in der Currysoße ertränkt worden. Nicht wirklich lecker, nur eine Matsche. Wir gehen nicht noch einmal dorthin.

Sehr leckere Pommes aber sehr sehr lange Wartezeiten

Für den kleinen Snack zwischendurch, haben wir uns am Samstag das Frittenwerk ausgesucht. Preis und Leistung passen nicht ansatzweise zusammen. Es sind nur Kartoffeln, die noch nicht mal lecker schmecken. Wir haben zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Nach dem Bestellvorgang warteten wir 16 Minuten. Möchte nicht wissen, wie lange es dauert wenn der Laden richtig voll ist. Die Wartezeit verbrachten wir an den hohen Stühlen am Ausgang, die Platte dürfte gerne mal geputzt werden. Die richtige Pommes-Menge wurde in Behältern abgefüllt, abgewogen und in die ToGo-Packung umgestürzt. Die Messschale wurde dann weggeworfen. Ein sehr sorgfältiger Umgang von Rohstoffen! Wir hatten eine normale Pommes und Montreal Style Poutine. Die Pommes mit Hot & Cheesy Sauce. Ich mag Käse in vielen Varianten, sonst hätte ich mich nicht an so eine Sauce ran getraut. So was fieses habe ich zum Glück noch nie gehabt. Die Sauce war total ekelhaft, roch und schmeckte sauer, Richtung….! „Hot“ war da auch nichts dran. „Montreal Style Poutine“ schmeckten auch nicht wirklich nach Pilz und würde nicht wieder gewählt werden. Viel zu teuer für 12€ und überhaupt nicht lecker! Service konnte ich nicht feststellen, da nur der Name der Bestellung aufgerufen wird, mit dem man sich am Schalter meldet, das ist nicht schwer.

Etwas Gewöhnung für Pommes mit leckerem "Zeug" drauf ist notwendig. Wenn es klappt, dann klappt auch ein schönes Erlebnis:).

Super Fritten, toll gewürzt und garniert. Waren gestern das erste mal da und sofort total begeistert. Sind heute gleich wieder hin. Freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in Münster und das Frittenwerk. Macht weiter so!!!!

Das Restaurant war spät nachmittags gut besucht und viel Laufkundschaft gab es auch. Die Zubereitung der Gerichte dauert nicht lang und man wird aufgerufen. Sitzmöbel gibt es genug und sind auch bequem.

Das Essen war gut. Da ich das erste Mal dort war wusste ich natürlich nicht wie es mit der Bedienung funktioniert und auch die Bedienung am Tresen war irgendwie überrascht wegen so einer Frage und konnte es mir nicht erklären. Bestellung per Terminal, sehr viele Extras verfügbar. Sehr gute vegane Auswahl, sehr lecker (besonders die vegane Currywurst). Durch viele Gäste etwas längere Wartezeit. Sehr freundlicher Service, Essen sehr gut verpackt. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert

Ein super Laden für alles Rund um die Pommes und Wurst. Das was die Kids gegessen hatten, war Geschmacklich gut. Preis-Leistung okay.
