A2 am See Restaurant, Veranstaltungen & Bar in Münster

Service ehr unaufmerksam, man muss immer wieder winken damit man irgendwann mal bedient wird. Schade, denn so werden Gespräche am Tisch immer wieder unterbrochen. Das Essen ist qualitativ wirklich nicht besonders gut, hat aber den Preis eines sehr guten Essen. Fazit: Jeder Kellner kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben, Preis-/Leistung stimmt dennoch überhaupt nicht. Würde lieber ein paar Meter weiter in die Stadt laufen und dort Essen gehen. Denn auch die Location mag vielleicht toll sein, jedoch ist es immer voll, laut und viel Durchgangsverkehr durch Touristen.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort. Getränkepreise gehoben. Ein Kellner (der Geschäftsführer?) bediente in T-Shirt und Softshelljacke - das war völlig unangemessen gekleidet. Das Essen war unterstes Kantinen-Niveau: Der gemischte Salat kalt, also ob er direkt aus der Kühltruhe kam, die Schnitzelpanade klebrig, Bratkartoffeln weich und gar nicht kross, die Nudeln völlig überkocht in einer "Sauce" (mag es so gar nicht nennen) die mehr ein Mehlpapp als eine Sauce war, hin und wieder fand man auch ein Stückchen Lachs, der Spinat darüber war lecker, aber schnell weg - und die Gemüselasagne geschmacklos fad und auch viel zu lange gegart. Alles in allem: Es war die 27 Euro lange nicht wert! Schade, das Ambiente ist schön!

Nice restaurant on Lake Aasee with outdoor seating. You will receive friendly and quick service, even if it is a bit crowded. When the weather is nice it is always quite crowded outside and not without reason. The price of food and drinks was slightly higher...possibly due to the location.

Despite the high number of people due to the beautiful weather, things went really quickly. The staff was very friendly and we were served quickly. The location is unbeatable with a view directly over the lake. A good option to sit outside even in cold weather. The food was really good, creative and the price was right. The mayo on the truffle fries could have been used a little more sparingly, but that's my only small point of criticism today. It was wonderful to be able to sit outside in the winter sun. Any time.

Great restaurant and great service and view.

A garden salad (a few green leaves) = €14.90. The goat cheese as a side dish = €6.90. So we paid €22 for a salad. Completely overpriced!

Food great service very nice would be back again

Everything was very nice, only the garlic in the kale was too much and didn't fit at all. There were 2 Mettendchen for that. Location and staff and other food were great.

We were in the restaurant this evening, it was very cozy, the food came quickly and the staff was very friendly. However, there was a little too little dressing on the salad and too little sour cream on the baked potato. Otherwise everything was great.

Great restaurant right on the lake. The menu offers bistro cuisine and is not too large. Our food (flambée and burgers) was delicious and the prices were absolutely okay for us. Staff friendly all the time. Book online easily.

Wir waren am ersten Adventswochenende in Münster und hatten online reserviert. Das hat problemlos geklappt. Der Laden war komplett ausgebucht, dennoch war das Personal aufmerksam und wirkte nicht gestresst. Essen und Getränke kamen zügig. Wir hatten den Burger mit Pommes und den Flammkuchen "Der Franzose", sowie Bruschetta vor ab Alles sehr lecker. Wir wurden wiederholt gefragt, ob alles okay ist. Diese Preise sind im Hinblick auf Lager, Qualität und Service absolut abgemessen. Wir kommen im Sommer bestimmt wieder

Traumhafte Lage bei schönem Wetter. Bester Platz mit Wasser in Münster. Bedienung freundlich. Getränke und kleine Snacke waren passend zur Uhrkzeit. Angenehm zum chillen.

You sit right by the lake. The service is sometimes overwhelmed when the weather is good and there are heavy crowds of visitors. The prices are overpriced in contrast to the prices in the city center. You pay around €2 more for an Aperol Spritz at the lake. The food is also very expensive.

Top location, food very good, service generally good, fast and courteous. As beautiful and tasteful as the dining room is, it is incredibly loud; when it is full, it is hardly possible to have a conversation across the table. The acoustics should be improved somewhat.

Die junge Dame, die uns bedient hat, hat uns erklärt: Da wir Vor- und Nachspeise gleichzeitig bestellt haben, kommt das auch gleichzeitig an den Tisch. Die "Verstehen Sie Spaß"- Kamera haben wir vergeblich gesucht. Aber die Bude war voll. Münster, geht's noch?

Spent a great afternoon with my loved ones on the terrace at Lake Aasee on perhaps the last summer day of 2024. Great place. I can also recommend the restaurant.

Ambience great! Service top! Unfortunately the food wasn't good! Here you can have a few beers at the end of the day. I would strongly advise against anything beyond that.

I was in the restaurant with a group. Unfortunately that wasn't good! The staff was not friendly and rather inattentive. The food is mediocre at best (at the level of a chain bistro). What particularly bothered me was how naturally the starter and main course were served at the same time and simply placed next to each other. A brief inquiry as to whether this was good was simply ignored by the unfriendly waiter. By the time I finished my soup, my schnitzel was cold... that's not possible.

Delicious but expensive food. The truffle fries are highly recommended. Unfortunately, the service was overwhelmed even though there wasn't much going on. After one overturned glass, we were brought a new one, but nothing to wipe up the liquid on the table, chairs and pants. At the end we had to wait a long time for the bill.

This restaurant lives solely from its location. The food was mediocre and the price was quite high.

The A2 restaurant is located in Münster on Lake Aasee. The location right on the water is certainly inviting, but that's about it. The three of us had dinner there in the evening and unfortunately the food was very bad. The schnitzel was more of a frozen product, very tough and inedible. The other dish was an Angus beef burger. The bread was very dry and the meat didn't taste like anything either. The service was always friendly, but that was about it. We personally didn't like the food at all.

Taking a latte macchiato with you is a disgrace. No card payment.

Beautiful view of the lake and a great location, which is unfortunately what this “restaurant” thrives on. Burgers unbelievably bad. The bread was far dry, the frozen meat was dry, hardly any sauce, simply the worst burger I've ever eaten outside. The schnitzel is also frozen and hard as a rock. I have no idea how you can offer such food and at these prices. Well, next time just drink and enjoy the view.

Very nice place, great area, you can walk around the entire Aasee

Asked four times for a meal ticket - didn't get one. So the food remains unrated. The waiter was there and brought drinks - nothing more. Nice location and great views of Lake Aase on nice days.

We were there with 39 people, had pre-ordered the food, and everything went smoothly. The staff was very friendly anyway.

In summer and when the weather is good, it's worth it just because of the ambience. Very good cafe & restaurant. The staff is very nice despite the numerous guests and the associated high workload. Unfortunately, the food is not always uniform, i.e. sometimes the portions are larger, sometimes smaller, it doesn't make much difference to the taste, but if you are hungrier and the portion is smaller than expected, it can be unsatisfactory.

We booked the A2 for a conference event and were completely satisfied. The staff was quick, very friendly and provided great service. The food was very tasty and there was something for every taste. The location was of course also great. Would book and recommend it again at any time.

The ambience is of course great, but that's because of Lake Aasee and not the restaurant. Prices are steep and you're probably paying for the ambience of Lake Aasee and not just for the quality, although this is above average, but not as much as the price. Drinks are extremely expensive. Service was always first class.

Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff, although I'm especially talking about the female waitresses. Ordered 2 drinks today, one came 10 minutes later than the other, that's not possible. You want to get your drinks TOGETHER, it can't be that difficult. When I asked when the second drink would finally come, the waitress gave a very rude answer. Staff training is urgently needed here!

Restaurant by the lake with a clear menu and super nice staff. Prices are, as you would expect for a location like this, a bit higher but not exorbitant. We had burgers and baked potatoes with chicken, the portions were very filling and tasty.

Very nice outdoor terrace with a large plateau on the lake. Food and drinks okay, 16 € tarte flambée e.g. The service was very friendly and attentive. Great idea, especially for children (there was a little surprise bag with the meal). Gladly again

In fact, I'm surprised that there were pretty good reviews for this. The restaurant is nice, pleasant in design. Welcoming with a good atmosphere. The staff is also friendly and attentive. However, the price/performance ratio is not right at all. Of course the restaurant is beautifully located, but there were 8 of us there and found 5 of the 8 dishes not recommended. Among other things, the schnitzel and the special currywurst were particularly bad. And then to quote such prices is very outrageous. Both in terms of taste and quality. The toilets were also in the lower range in terms of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I will never enter this rather nice restaurant again.

Unusually friendly staff for today.

We were with 5 people. eat there. Nobody liked it. The “gambas” were particularly disappointing, poor and overpriced. The chicken curry was too spicy with turmeric. The children's pasta had no taste. The bitterballen are of course also convenience food.

Restaurant/bar very nicely located on Lake Asee. Service a bit confusing but nice. Drinks good and reasonably priced.

Nice view, busy, but still friendly service.

We were there on a sunny Saturday afternoon - so it was very busy. Unfortunately it was too windy for us on the outside terrace, but inside we sat near the window and still had a nice view of Lake Aasee. There is a small (narrower) parking garage nearby. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive that day. We had to make ourselves known to get the card. The same applied to the order. The food came relatively quickly. Overall, the food tasted good, but honestly: we spent 17.90 euros for a baked potato with champions and 18.90 euros (+ 1.50 euros for a slice of cheddar cheese) for an Angus beef burger... I don't understand the relationship to this... The portion of my burger with side dishes was very good 👍 Unfortunately, there are only a few vegetarian dishes and too few ladies' toilets. Conclusion: nice view of Lake Aasee, but quite expensive

I was there for a training session. Very great location. Directly on Lake Aasee. Friendly staff and delicious food. I missed the air conditioning upstairs and unfortunately you had to park more expensively in the parking garage, which I won't rate here. I still think it's recommended.
