Yesterday we were in “Little Switzerland” for the second time and all four of us were very satisfied. Despite a larger event outside, we didn't have to wait long for the food. We ate vegetarian as well as meat and fish and found everything very tasty, sufficient and beautifully presented. I would particularly like to highlight the service. We have rarely received such attentive and courteous service.

Today we celebrated our son starting school. It was excellent as always! This restaurant is absolutely children's rhyme!! For the little people there is a separate children's toilet in addition to the women's and men's toilets. 👍🏻 Service and ambience top! Food top class! And the rented room was even decorated according to our wishes to suit the occasion. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Great location for a whiskey tasting with BBQ!

We and our entire family have been eating out regularly in Little Switzerland for many decades, whether for Christmas, birthdays or just in between. We celebrated our wedding there in July with 70 guests. The Little Switzerland team supported us extremely competently from start to finish in the planning and implementation. On the day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy this special day. The food was great as always, including great alternatives for our vegan guests, and all the team members were, as always, more than friendly and accommodating. We and our guests had a wonderful and, above all, unforgettable day, and the Little Switzerland team made a significant contribution to this. Of course we would love to come back and never tire of recommending you to others, now also for weddings 😊

Probably the most beautiful beer garden within a 50 km radius

We spontaneously ended up on a hike in little Switzerland and actually just wanted to have a drink and maybe eat a waffle. But the menu read so well that we ended up eating properly, luckily. Both dishes were really good - especially my Wiener Schnitzel: very tender and even a little pink in the middle! :) The service staff was very friendly and personable, we will definitely come by again :)

Compared to the past, the quality has suffered, which is why the price-performance ratio is not right. Example: Meat for Geschnetzeltes is tough, breading for Wiener Schnitzel is like mush and overall too salty for me. Conclusion. You could eat anything, but I imagine the quality to be different.

There is nothing wrong with this location. There is: sufficient parking, a very nice beer garden/outdoor area, a small playground for children and goats to feed, various rooms with different levels of space To celebrate the birthday there were Italian starters, a buffet, delicious desserts in small glass jars, a buffet and a small cake buffet. All dishes were served decoratively and appetizingly.

This restaurant is highly recommended, especially since, in addition to the main room, there is a fireplace room and a “stube” for individual celebrations.

We came with the family by bike for cake and coffee ☕️. The service was super friendly and personal and we had a great time sitting under the trees and went to the playground after coffee. There is a game reserve adjacent and the deer can be petted. We'll definitely be back!

Hello dear gourmet friends! Another trip to localities with a rustic atmosphere recently took us to “Little Switzerland”. As with all of our planning, we studied the menu online in advance. To our great surprise, we were presented with a board with a daily menu in the pretty beer garden, on which no main course was offered for less than €22. Even the salad with turkey breast was increased from €11.90 to €18.90 (!), contrary to the online menu. The food itself was comparatively adequate in terms of taste, but not outstanding in terms of price-performance ratio. Despite all our understanding of the situation in the catering industry, we felt ripped off. In our opinion, the beautiful ambience and the very nice service do not justify this. So, watch out! LG from Wuppertal NS. The mess in the women's toilet was quite unpleasant. Please pay more attention to cleanliness.

We went to a BBQ and it was pouring rain. But the service handled everything well. Excellent. The food from the grill and smoker was also very good. Finally, a great surprise dessert. Everything was fine. We will be back. Nice ambience.

Today had been a great day. A schnitzel menu 😘. In consultation with Mr. Wiehoff and his creative kitchen team 😀. Thank you very much for the great day and the schnitzel menu. One course was: Naturally fried Jägerschnitzel from Duroc Dumpling carpaccio. Very tasty 😋as well as a visual feast for the palate. As well as the dessert: peach schnitzel with berry compote, vanilla ice cream and crunch. It was simply delicious 😋, need to be repeated, please always have fresh peaches 😃 😀. Thank you very much for the great food, for the great service, our glasses were empty and empty for about 10 minutes, maybe less and boom, we were asked. ( in the beer garden). Thank you for everything. See you next time

Very courteous service in the rustic restaurant right on the hiking paradise. Food was very tasty and at higher but still reasonable prices. A parking fee will be charged. Children's playground directly adjacent to the restaurant with the opportunity to feed goats. We'd love to come back!

Sign “Please wait, we will take you to your seat”, many tables free, 4-5 waiters walk past us and no one says anything, even after waiting for minutes. Then they left again, apparently they didn't need our money 🤡

You should wait until you are assigned a table, as it says on a sign at the entrance to the terrace. We did, but of the 6 staff members who walked past us, no one felt compelled to give us a table. Then not.

We were very happy to eat again and, as always, we were served to our complete satisfaction.

It was outstanding. The restaurant is highly recommended. The food as it was served (not as a plated meal but nicely arranged on smaller plates and in smaller bowls). It was generously refilled and there were no leftovers. Which would otherwise be disposed of. Worth imitating! The staff is friendly, careful, well trained. It wasn't almost the last time I was there@

What can I say?? When we, at a table with four adults and a child aged 16 months, with a capacity of less than 30%, are told that the child has to stay at the table (we were only there for 15 minutes and had just had our drinks received) and only 10 minutes later the same tall gentleman in his leather trousers complained to the two children from the neighboring table when they were taking their orders that they now had to stay at the table, how should you feel in a restaurant that claims to be oh-so-family-friendly ???? Unfortunately, at the end we were not asked whether everything was OK with us. I would have liked to have vented my anger on site. Our son is a happy, curious and relaxed fellow, which made the young employees smile and also called him over and openly approached him, but as a family we felt very unwelcome from the second onwards due to this gentleman's unpleasant and rude mood . They didn't even have to serve us food anymore...apart from the fact that we were no longer able to eat together. The oven was off! Let's say there were 25 people there, including us. I completely understand you. As I originally learned HoFa in a 4 star superior hotel, I am also familiar with the service side. Guests who call a happy child over and employees who say "come here" when idle is the most natural thing in the world, absolutely human and also nice that it is the case that positive people get a positive response. This bitter, offensive tone of the gentleman seems to be part of his nature, but it is anything but appropriate in such a business.

One of our absolute favorite location! Without a reservation you don't have to try to get a table. Food, service and everything surrounding it is TOP. A straight 10!! It's also really nice to sit in the beer garden!! We recommend Little Switzerland 100%

The restaurant and ambience are good, the food tastes good (but is not exceptional), and the price-performance ratio is slightly excessive. However, I really liked it! Unfriendly service also really bothered me on my second visit to this restaurant! The restaurant was at most 30% full and a certain member of the service staff was totally annoyed and very unfriendly to us for no reason. When a complaint was made about a salad with the wrong dressing, the dish was removed by a service employee with an eye roll. I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

The Wiener Schnitzel was delicious. However, there was something missing in the presentation of the dishes. The service was attentive from the start but unfortunately not honest. As I found out afterwards, you could have gotten the €5 parking fee refunded or offset it against your meal if you visited this restaurant. Parking spaces there cost a fee, as you can also park there just to go hiking. Therefore there is a 3 star deduction for the service. If I had known that, I wouldn't have given such a generous tip. I will therefore not visit the restaurant again. It's a real shame because the atmosphere is very nice. PS: You should also display the correct daily menu on the digital menu at the front if not all dishes are available on certain days.

We celebrated our gold wedding anniversary in a very beautiful atmosphere. We were given very good advice when choosing the food. Our guests rated the selection, preparation and taste as excellent. The food came to all guests at the same time. The service was good, the waiter was very attentive. During the following evening, however, our guests had to help themselves to pouring wine. I think our waiter didn't want to seem pushy. The fireplace room is suitable for such events. However, if a disco in the next room gets louder and louder as the evening goes on, it can be a bit disturbing. Overall, I can fully recommend Little Switzerland. Price-performance ratio is right. Thanks to the Wiehoff family and to the employees who were involved in the background to make our event a success.

We celebrated my birthday here and I have to say: nothing was missing. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, very helpful, very attentive and, despite the full house, deeply relaxed. You really had the impression of being welcome. Although many celebrations were taking place at the same time, you didn't notice the many guests in the different rooms. The staff had everything under control and you didn't notice any of the stress as a guest, although it was certainly there. We also really liked the fact that the children were treated so well. We moved to the very cozy beer garden for coffee and cake (which we were allowed to bring ourselves for crumbs of money) and were able to sit there for a long time afterwards without feeling like we were unwanted. The playground and the fact that the children could move around freely and feed the animals also contributed to a very pleasant and cozy afternoon. We would like to thank the entire team from the bottom of our hearts little Switzerland.
