We were there for goose dinner. The food was delicious and everything else was good. The staff is very attentive and you feel very welcome. The ambience is also very appealing. It is always decorated according to the season. An all-round successful visit and definitely not the last 😊.

We were with a group including 2 small children in the fireplace room to eat goose. Contact, reservation and organization via email are extremely quick and uncomplicated. Little Switzerland is known for good food - goose and plenty of side dishes were wonderful - and great, attentive and friendly service. And so it was a completely successful experience. The group wants to come back and we will always go there with the family. This is how you do gastronomy!

Today we went for goose dinner with the family. The meat was wonderfully tender. The dumplings, red cabbage and sauce are served later. I drank the Primitivo with it. Everyone at the table was very happy and everyone enjoyed it particularly well. Looking forward to the next visit!

The fireplace room was beautifully decorated for a small group of mourners; there were even extra napkins for this sad occasion. The waiters were very discreet, very friendly, but always attentive. All dishes tasted delicious and all guests really enjoyed it.

We had a really great evening with our family and since we were a larger group, we were given a separate room that was very nicely furnished. The staff was more than hardworking, courteous, quick and very attentive. We ordered different dishes, which were prepared almost quickly and all 10 people had the dish on the table equally. It was delicious. Personally, I was a bit critical about the sauce for the duck and couldn't taste any juice as advertised, more like a normal gravy. Otherwise everything was good, our big special wish was also fulfilled. Thank you for the great evening. We'd love to come back.

As always, the food was of top quality and very tasty (currently suckling pig knuckle and crispy farmer's duck), and the service was excellent as always. Goose dinner already booked in December. Thank you.

It was just really beautiful and delicious.

Visited for the second time today on October 5th, 2024 and tasted the food. First of all, I attest to the staff's pleasant manners and good basic politeness. It's not common practice today either. A pleasant ambience and a beautiful and simple table decoration. First there was a potato vegetable soup. Served hot and outrageously delicious. Our sauerbraten and the Düsseldorf mustard crust were also served hot and very tasty. The whole thing was crowned with a little sin (surprise from the kitchen), to which we can hereby give high praise. The entire team works very cordially with each other and doesn't create any hassle at all. Everything is very quiet and pleasant. Some restaurants don't require a star. Unfortunately I have to write with a pseudonym because some restaurateurs can't handle negative criticism and bully you. It's a shame actually. Stay that way and keep it up. Thanks. First time there on October 3rd, 2024 and totally surprised. Such pleasant staff, delicious and hot latte and the waffle, just fantastic. We'll be back, but then for dining. 👍

Perfectly prepared meat of the very best quality for 10 men. High quality prepared side dishes. 1a service in presence and friendliness. The ambience actually transports you to Switzerland. In the area you can make a wonderful digestive mash.

We had no problem reserving a table for 2 adults and 2 children on the same day. We were there for the first time and were really surprised. Prices are a bit high but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Portions are sufficient and really tasty. Service was very attentive and helpful and quick. The espresso I ordered wasn't to my taste, but I complain at a high level and everything was great!

We celebrated our father's 90th birthday as a family. We had the fireplace room. Everything was beautifully decorated. We were allowed to put up additional decorations. The food (we ordered a set menu) was excellent. Service 1a. Many thanks to the attentive staff. They made sure that we had a carefree day. We'd love to come back!

Yesterday we were in “Little Switzerland” for the second time and all four of us were very satisfied. Despite a larger event outside, we didn't have to wait long for the food. We ate vegetarian as well as meat and fish and found everything very tasty, sufficient and beautifully presented. I would particularly like to highlight the service. We have rarely received such attentive and courteous service.

We went to the “Kleine Schweiz” restaurant in Velbert for a BBQ. All you can say is: "It was really great!!!" Great BBQ - super friendly service - great outdoor spaces (a bit like a beer garden 😀). BBQ evening in the Kleine Schweiz restaurant, an absolute recommendation. ATTENTION ⚠️: Be sure to reserve seats.

Today we celebrated our son starting school. It was excellent as always! This restaurant is absolutely children's rhyme!! For the little people there is a separate children's toilet in addition to the women's and men's toilets. 👍🏻 Service and ambience top! Food top class! And the rented room was even decorated according to our wishes to suit the occasion. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

We and our entire family have been eating out regularly in Little Switzerland for many decades, whether for Christmas, birthdays or just in between. We celebrated our wedding there in July with 70 guests. The Little Switzerland team supported us extremely competently from start to finish in the planning and implementation. On the day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy this special day. The food was great as always, including great alternatives for our vegan guests, and all the team members were, as always, more than friendly and accommodating. We and our guests had a wonderful and, above all, unforgettable day, and the Little Switzerland team made a significant contribution to this. Of course we would love to come back and never tire of recommending you to others, now also for weddings 😊

We spontaneously ended up on a hike in little Switzerland and actually just wanted to have a drink and maybe eat a waffle. But the menu read so well that we ended up eating properly, luckily. Both dishes were really good - especially my Wiener Schnitzel: very tender and even a little pink in the middle! :) The service staff was very friendly and personable, we will definitely come by again :)

Compared to the past, the quality has suffered, which is why the price-performance ratio is not right. Example: Meat for Geschnetzeltes is tough, breading for Wiener Schnitzel is like mush and overall too salty for me. Conclusion. You could eat anything, but I imagine the quality to be different.

There is nothing wrong with this location. There is: sufficient parking, a very nice beer garden/outdoor area, a small playground for children and goats to feed, various rooms with different levels of space To celebrate the birthday there were Italian starters, a buffet, delicious desserts in small glass jars, a buffet and a small cake buffet. All dishes were served decoratively and appetizingly.

This restaurant is highly recommended, especially since, in addition to the main room, there is a fireplace room and a “stube” for individual celebrations.

We came with the family by bike for cake and coffee ☕️. The service was super friendly and personal and we had a great time sitting under the trees and went to the playground after coffee. There is a game reserve adjacent and the deer can be petted. We'll definitely be back!

We have been to “Little Switzerland” several times. The atmosphere, especially on the terrace when the weather is nice, is great. The food is very good and of high quality. Although it was very busy and full, the service was excellent and the employees were always friendly, even with special requests. Always worth a visit.

Hello dear gourmet friends! Another trip to localities with a rustic atmosphere recently took us to “Little Switzerland”. As with all of our planning, we studied the menu online in advance. To our great surprise, we were presented with a board with a daily menu in the pretty beer garden, on which no main course was offered for less than €22. Even the salad with turkey breast was increased from €11.90 to €18.90 (!), contrary to the online menu. The food itself was comparatively adequate in terms of taste, but not outstanding in terms of price-performance ratio. Despite all our understanding of the situation in the catering industry, we felt ripped off. In our opinion, the beautiful ambience and the very nice service do not justify this. So, watch out! LG from Wuppertal NS. The mess in the women's toilet was quite unpleasant. Please pay more attention to cleanliness.

Today had been a great day. A schnitzel menu 😘. In consultation with Mr. Wiehoff and his creative kitchen team 😀. Thank you very much for the great day and the schnitzel menu. One course was: Naturally fried Jägerschnitzel from Duroc Dumpling carpaccio. Very tasty 😋as well as a visual feast for the palate. As well as the dessert: peach schnitzel with berry compote, vanilla ice cream and crunch. It was simply delicious 😋, need to be repeated, please always have fresh peaches 😃 😀. Thank you very much for the great food, for the great service, our glasses were empty and empty for about 10 minutes, maybe less and boom, we were asked. ( in the beer garden). Thank you for everything. See you next time
