A fantastic location with one of the best service teams I've ever encountered. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, every wish is fulfilled, and our four-legged friends are also very welcome! The food is excellent and, thanks to a somewhat smaller menu, always fresh and exclusive. We always enjoy coming back!

We were there with friends and had reserved the room. Very cozy and a bit away from the hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, the service was attentive and always on hand. The food was great, especially the fried potatoes. Also our friends, who... Those who ate vegetarian or fish during Lent were thrilled. Great price/performance. We'd love to come back😀

I can't say anything about the restaurant I just wanted to park there and walk for an hour but you have to buy a day ticket for €5 for the parking lot and that's definitely too much. You can't get a ticket for less than €5 and the Google reviews for the parking lot would be displayed so you don't even know what to expect when you go there It's better to park up in the residential area as there is also a footpath down to the hiking area

The third visit on February 23rd, 2025, cannot be compared. Do you have a new chef? We were extremely disappointed. The sauce from the sliced ​​meat tasted like Maggi ready-made powder and the Röstis were very fatty. The mustard crust was bland and served quite raw. The fried potatoes that came with it didn't seem fresh, sorry, but you can't trick my palate that easily. The starter soup was neither hot nor a culinary highlight. The salad or dressing was okay. Back to the roots please. Visited for the second time today on October 5th, 2024 and tasted the food. First of all, I attest to the staff's pleasant manners and good basic politeness. It's not common practice today either. A pleasant ambience and a beautiful and simple table decoration. First there was a potato vegetable soup. Served hot and outrageously delicious. Our sauerbraten and the Düsseldorf mustard crust were also served hot and very tasty. The whole thing was crowned with a little sin (surprise from the kitchen), to which we can hereby give high praise. The entire team works very cordially with each other and doesn't create any hassle at all. Everything is very quiet and pleasant. Some restaurants don't require a star. Unfortunately I have to write with a pseudonym because some restaurateurs can't handle negative criticism and bully you. It's a shame actually. Stay that way and keep it up. Thanks. First time there on October 3rd, 2024 and totally surprised. Such pleasant staff, delicious and hot latte and the waffle, just fantastic. We'll be back, but then for dining. 👍

Yesterday I was in Little Switzerland again after unfortunately far too many years and was immediately very impressed by the fact that, unlike many other restaurants, it has lost nothing of its exceptional quality, the warmth of its employees and the innkeepers, its charm and its ambience. The menu is very varied and there is something for everyone. The dishes are presented with great attention to detail and prepared with a lot of craftsmanship. You can simply taste that everything is made here by yourself and only used selected, high-quality ingredients. My girlfriend was also absolutely thrilled. Guaranteed it won't be 7 years before the next visit. On the contrary, Little Switzerland will definitely become one of our regular restaurants again. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

A wonderful place to unwind! Little Switzerland has an idyllic location and its cozy atmosphere invites you to linger. The animals are incredibly cute and make the visit a special experience. There is also delicious food. Perfect for a little break.

We have reserved. We were welcomed by a very nice gentleman in short leather pants 😀. Very friendly, courteous, attentive and humorous staff. There was delicious bread with a delicious spread beforehand and even bread afterwards 😀. We ordered goose leg and mustard roast. The food: the goose leg was very tender and juicy - meat almost fell off the bone on its own. The red cabbage was delicious and so were the dumplings. The sauce had a good consistency and a great taste (like it used to be at grandma's house). The mustard roast was very tender and tasty. Only the fried potatoes were partly like chips - that wasn't great. The salad would have needed a little more creativity, but it was OK and tasty - only the Spirellis as a pasta salad didn't really fit in 😉. Because of the roasted potatoes and the salad there are only 4 stars. But: all in all it was a great and tasty meal where the price and performance were right. And we got really full 😀. Like in Switzerland, great ambience, great service, exclusive food. The service is unparalleled. Quick, attentive and discreet at the same time. Drinks arrive in the shortest possible time, starters and main courses at an optimal distance. Respect. The journey is definitely worth it.

We stopped at this lovely excursion restaurant with 20 people from the Mettmann hiking group. Everything was well prepared after consultation and the service was - as usual - once again top! Even though it was 1 hour early and the restaurant was extremely busy, we received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable!

A big plus point is the ambience, the farm is in a very quiet location, there is a playground outside for children, a small zoo. Parking lot in the immediate vicinity. We had a private event with 13 people. Food, service and ambience were very good. It should be particularly mentioned that the restaurant was made available to us for this event outside of the "normal" opening hours. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is okay. I can only recommend “Little Switzerland” in this respect; we were very satisfied. The repeat this year was once again to our complete satisfaction.

My husband and I went to Little Switzerland for the umpteenth time to eat goose breast. The goose breast was tender and the skin was crispy. There was also a baked apple, dumplings and red cabbage and you could get more of both if there wasn't enough. My husband took 1 dumpling and some red cabbage. The service was, as always, friendly, attentive and nice. We were completely satisfied.

We really enjoy coming and of course we weren't disappointed with the goose dinner. Delicious food, great service and fair price-performance ratio.

The food was very good, goose breast and legs, as well as the cordon bleu were very tasty. The portions are sufficiently large. The side salad is a dream. The dessert is also recommended. The service is nice and friendly, but not intrusive. Sufficient free parking spaces. We'd love to come back.
