Today we were there for Christmas dinner. Very well put together menu with several choices for starters and main courses. Despite the full house, our dessert request was fulfilled.

Great restaurant in the countryside, very tasty food and super friendly service. Very family-friendly with a large outdoor area, invites you to stop off after a walk. Also recommended for any celebrations!!!

There were 4 of us who wanted to go out to eat at short notice and got a table in this very nice restaurant. The food is excellent, as are the wines. The service is very accommodating, all in all very satisfactory, we would be happy to come back.

Top service and very tasty food. Feel free to add more vegetarian dishes to the menu. Also perfect with small children thanks to the huge playground and game reserve.

We were greeted so warmly, the food was great and we sat in the room so comfortably. And then Santa Claus came. You won't be able to get rid of us anymore. ;-)

We have reserved. We were welcomed by a very nice gentleman in short leather pants 😀. Very friendly, courteous, attentive and humorous staff. There was delicious bread with a delicious spread beforehand and even bread afterwards 😀. We ordered goose leg and mustard roast. The food: the goose leg was very tender and juicy - meat almost fell off the bone on its own. The red cabbage was delicious and so were the dumplings. The sauce had a good consistency and a great taste (like it used to be at grandma's house). The mustard roast was very tender and tasty. Only the fried potatoes were partly like chips - that wasn't great. The salad would have needed a little more creativity, but it was OK and tasty - only the Spirellis as a pasta salad didn't really fit in 😉. Because of the roasted potatoes and the salad there are only 4 stars. But: all in all it was a great and tasty meal where the price and performance were right. And we got really full 😀. We will be back 😀 and recommend a visit to enjoy the cuisine and the friendly service 😀 12/02/2023 Today we had dinner here with a friend. I couldn't resist and ordered the goose leg again - soooo delicious and the lady's leg was enough too 😀. My wife chose the Cordon Bleu and friend chose the Geschnetzeltes. Everything was as it should be - Tasty and hot (the plates were hot too). Only with the sliced ​​meat would fresh Rösti have been a hit 😉 (complaining at a high level). The food was a little spoiled today 😉. The veggie menu with the gnocchi wasn't anything special - it lacked flavor and the pesto also tasted a little rancid. A complaint was made. Since our daughter didn't want anything else (because she was little/no) hungry, nothing happened here. Ok - it can happen, but it shouldn't.

Like in Switzerland, great ambience, great service, exclusive food. The service is unparalleled. Quick, attentive and discreet at the same time. Drinks arrive in the shortest possible time, starters and main courses at an optimal distance. Respect. The journey is definitely worth it.

We stopped at this lovely excursion restaurant with 20 people from the Mettmann hiking group. Everything was well prepared after consultation and the service was - as usual - once again top! Even though it was 1 hour early and the restaurant was extremely busy, we received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable!

The food is simply great and so is the service. We always enjoy coming here and have done so for many years.

Bye bye goose season, on the last day of goose season in little Schewiz we had a good time again. I'm already looking forward to next year🤤 We were once again impressed by the quality of the food and the service. We look forward to our next visit to little Switzerland

Excellent food, at fair prices, with family and friendly service in a great environment - always worth a visit.

The food/dishes we ordered were very good and tasty. The portion size is also completely fine. Service was also very nice and attentive. A big plus point is the ambience, the farm is in a very quiet location, there is a playground outside for children, a small zoo. Parking lot in the immediate vicinity. Very quiet and hiking trails on site.

As always everything was perfect! The service staff was friendly and helpful and the fillet steaks were medium rare. A special highlight for us is always the “Spicy Mayonnaise”.

Our group has been meeting for goose dinners in Little Switzerland for years. The delicious food, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the very committed, friendly service staff make us want to come back again and again.

We had a private event with 13 people. Food, service and ambience were very good. It should be particularly mentioned that the restaurant was made available to us for this event outside of the "normal" opening hours. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is okay. I can only recommend “Little Switzerland” in this respect; we were very satisfied. The repeat this year was once again to our complete satisfaction.

My husband and I went to Little Switzerland for the umpteenth time to eat goose breast. The goose breast was tender and the skin was crispy. There was also a baked apple, dumplings and red cabbage and you could get more of both if there wasn't enough. My husband took 1 dumpling and some red cabbage. The service was, as always, friendly, attentive and nice. We were completely satisfied.

We really enjoy coming and of course we weren't disappointed with the goose dinner. Delicious food, great service and fair price-performance ratio.

We were in little Switzerland based on a recommendation. We liked it very much. Nice atmosphere, very clean, attractive decoration. The food was very good, goose breast and legs, as well as the cordon bleu were very tasty. The portions are sufficiently large. The side salad is a dream. The dessert is also recommended. The service is nice and friendly, but not intrusive. Sufficient free parking spaces. We'd love to come back.

Everything is perfect in this restaurant. It was like a day of vacation. The staff is extremely well trained, which is a rarity these days.

I have been a loyal and welcome guest on and off for several years. Even as a child, I often went to town with my grandparents or parents. What appeals to me most is the atmosphere and the family style. In addition, of course, there is the very good food and the courteous service. Little Switzerland has remained true to its nostalgic style for years. This is a reason for loyal guests to come here again and again. The newly designed toilet rooms speak for themselves and complete the perfect ambience. It took us a long time to get used to these :) Now the goose season has finally begun again, which we really enjoy with the family. The service does a perfect and courteous job. Big thanks for that! The chefs always spoil us with excellent dishes. All in all TOP!! Taste, price management, service & AMBIENCE!!! The Wiehoff family, please maintain this service and the nostalgic nature. Little Switzerland is known for good food - goose and plenty of side dishes were wonderful - and great, attentive and friendly service. And so it was a completely successful experience. The group wants to come back and we will always go there with the family. This is how you do gastronomy!

We had a really great evening with our family and since we were a larger group, we were given a separate room that was very nicely furnished. The staff was more than hardworking, courteous, quick and very attentive. We ordered different dishes, which were prepared almost quickly and all 10 people had the dish on the table equally. It was delicious. Personally, I was a bit critical about the sauce for the duck and couldn't taste any juice as advertised, more like a normal gravy. Otherwise everything was good, our big special wish was also fulfilled. Thank you for the great evening. We'd love to come back.

It was just really beautiful and delicious.

Visited for the second time today on October 5th, 2024 and tasted the food. First of all, I attest to the staff's pleasant manners and good basic politeness. It's not common practice today either. A pleasant ambience and a beautiful and simple table decoration. First there was a potato vegetable soup. Served hot and outrageously delicious. Our sauerbraten and the Düsseldorf mustard crust were also served hot and very tasty. The whole thing was crowned with a little sin (surprise from the kitchen), to which we can hereby give high praise. The entire team works very cordially with each other and doesn't create any hassle at all. Everything is very quiet and pleasant. Some restaurants don't require a star. Unfortunately I have to write with a pseudonym because some restaurateurs can't handle negative criticism and bully you. It's a shame actually. Stay that way and keep it up. Thanks. First time there on October 3rd, 2024 and totally surprised. Such pleasant staff, delicious and hot latte and the waffle, just fantastic. We'll be back, but then for dining. 👍

Perfectly prepared meat of the very best quality for 10 men. High quality prepared side dishes. 1a service in presence and friendliness. The ambience actually transports you to Switzerland. In the area you can make a wonderful digestive mash.

We celebrated our father's 90th birthday as a family. We had the fireplace room. Everything was beautifully decorated. We were allowed to put up additional decorations. The food (we ordered a set menu) was excellent. Service 1a. Many thanks to the attentive staff. They made sure that we had a carefree day. We'd love to come back!

We had no problem reserving a table for 2 adults and 2 children on the same day. We were there for the first time and were really surprised. Prices are a bit high but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Portions are sufficient and really tasty. Service was very attentive and helpful and quick. The espresso I ordered wasn't to my taste, but I complain at a high level and everything was great!
