We wanted to eat something, went to Rehmann's restaurant, a few tables were still free, but a very snooty waitress told us for a moment, came back and said we should wait a bit, two tables would be free soon, I headed for one of the free tables and asked, can't we sit here, the waitress was almost bursting with arrogance and said, NO, that's a table for four, we were standing in the middle of the restaurant, other guests were sitting eating, I found it very uncomfortable to stand there and having to wait until a table for two people becomes available... So you're not allowed to sit down wherever you want, the restaurant doesn't seem to need paying guests. There were easily 3-4 tables available... We then went to another restaurant, where we were greeted politely and given the choice of where we would like to sit. The restaurant won't see us again. Instead of sitting guests at a free table, you let them leave again, that's how you win guests...

Great food, it was very tasty and the portions were generous. The staff was nice and we chatted a bit. I had already ordered there and it turned out great.

Went to the restaurant for the second time today and ate there for my aunt's 90th BIRTHDAY. Everyone was super happy, the food was freshly prepared, very tasty and we were warmly served. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Velbert 🤍
