Kirschbaum in Chemnitz

We had a reservation for four people. The ambiance is very neat, understated, and lovingly decorated for a garden retreat. The food selection is also extensive and very appealing for a garden retreat. The dishes, served after a short wait, were plentiful and very tasty. The service is friendly, quick, and even takes the time to chat with guests. The value for money is excellent. We will definitely be back.

I could smell the old frying oil outside the restaurant. That put me off. Inside, it smelled just as stuffy, and everything was quite dark. However, the coffee table for funerals in the lounge was attractively set. The rolls, cakes, coffee, and drinks were all fine and tasty. The service was friendly.

We hosted a small funeral service, ate à la carte, and were very satisfied. The food was really good, the service friendly. We liked the ambiance of a garden restaurant, and everything was impeccable in terms of cleanliness.

Good garden restaurant. Very friendly service and a very good chef. Good, home-style cooking. They sometimes even serve sauerbraten. Truly delicious. Just like at Mom's. The ambiance is great, too. A lot of Chemnitz sports are featured in the decor.

We were there for a 60th birthday party. The food was good, and the service was also good, if the waitress who served us hadn't been so rigid, but had at least shown a bit of a smile and friendliness. She almost came across as irritated. Nevertheless, all the drinks we ordered arrived promptly. She was also present and attentive. The cleanliness of the restrooms was appalling, and it was questionable when they were cleaned. Very dirty! Also, given the age of the restaurant, a clean restroom should be a must, which would give this place 0 stars.

Today we had a funeral service with cake and sandwiches. The cake was very tasty. The selection of drinks is large and the service is attentive. I would like to thank you for the small present, which I was very happy about.

I asked whether a funeral coffee can be booked. It was short notice. The answer was yes, but when I told this lady that there was no money in the estate and that every guest paid their own bill, she said NO and hung up. I find this reaction impossible, I have rarely experienced something so unfriendly. Just because a deceased person did not leave any money behind for a funeral service, the surviving relatives would have paid the bill. ☹️☹️☹️☹️ I wouldn't have given a star, but you have to Restaurant on the phone very and friendly

I visited Kirschbaum Restaurant and am thrilled with my experience. The ambience is really great and the decor is modern and inviting. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Overall it was a really great visit and I will definitely be back.

Eine der wenigen Gartenkantienen in Chemnitz, die überlebt hat. Waren nach einer Trauerfeier hier. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. Kuchen, reichlich belegte Brötchen und der Kaffee haben gut geschmeckt. Danke!!

Das Essen war absolute Spitzenklasse... freundliche, zuvorkommende, zackige Bedienung... Von uns gibt es volle Punktzahl... Wenn es 10 Sterne gäbe, würden wir auch diese vergeben!

Sehr unfreundlich am Telefon und auch sonst fühlt man sich nicht wirklich willkommen.

Waren mit einer Trauerfeier dort. Das Personal war immerhin freundlich. Sonst nicht empfehlenswert. Voher wurde nicht mitgeteilt das Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist, auf Rechnung auch nicht möglich. Mussten nochmal zur Bank Geld holen. Wer hat schon 400€ im Portemonnaie stecken? Das meiste Essen war okay. Leider wurde der Fisch kalt serviert. Zu dem wurde Wildlachs bestellt. Bekommen hat man aber ein Stück Wildlachs und ein Stück anderer Fisch. Der andere Fisch wurde mit viel Paprika gewürzt damit es nicht auffällt. Tischdecken waren schmutzig. Blumengesteck aus Plastik. Toiletten waren so schmutzig, als seien sie das letzte mal vor zwei Wochen gewischt wurden.

Das Essen und der Service sind wirklich mehr als lobenswert! Hier wird frische noch groß geschrien, einfach weiterzuempfehlen!

Wir haben am 25.05 19 den 90. Geburtstag meiner Mutter gefeiert und waren mit der Ausstattung unserer Feier sehr zufriede, es war eine Super Feier. Das Catering und der Service waren vorzüglich . Ein dickers Lob an die Fam. Berkholz!

Kleine Gartengaststätte in Chemnitz, an der Reichenhainer Straße. Das Essen schmeckt hier sehr gut. Auch preislich okay.

Hallo, des öfteren waren wir schon in dieser Gaststätte . Ebenso treffen sich jeden 2.Dienstag im Monat die ehemaligen Lokführer vom damaligen Bahnbetriebswerk " Karl - Marx - Stadt zu einem gemütlichem Beisammensein. Im Schnitt sind das immer ca. 40 Personen. Ich kann die Meinung , bzgl. des Services ("unter aller Sau") nicht teilen. Fam.Berkholz versucht alles möglich zu machen. Sogar Sonderwünsche hinsichtlich der Speisen werden ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken erfüllt. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältniss stimmt. Wir können diese Gaststätte ebenfalls nur weiter empfehlen.

Nette und tüchtige Wirtsleute, prima Möglichkeit, optimale Familienfeste und Vereinsversammlungen durchzuführen. Sehr leckere Küche.

Wir können die Aussage von Frau illing nicht akzeptieren !Frau illing ist im vorstand unseres Garten Vereins und dieser vorstand arbeitet nicht gerade für ein harmonisches Verhältnis zu unserem Gartenheim welches wir seit fast 30 Jahren fürhren !!!!
