It was quite disgusting. So, be careful with teacups!

Punjab Tandoori offers Indian hospitality and authentic cuisine of the highest quality. A great atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and delicious food served quickly at a very reasonable price. I can't imagine what could be better – unless you're not a fan of the color turquoise 😉.

First time at this restaurant. The food was excellent! Special mention for the cheese naan (with lots of cheese) and the mango curry. Some dishes were a bit spicy, even though we specified no chili, but it was still bearable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we'll be back!

The visit was completely satisfactory. The restaurant is rather unassuming from the outside, but the interior is much more impressive. To start, we were offered a complimentary appetizer with appealing dips. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous and definitely filling. My partner had a lamb curry, and I had a chicken korma. It was excellent. Definitely worth a visit (not just for delivery). If you're using gift certificates, it's important to have cash on hand.

Indian food isn't really "our thing," but the Schlemmerblock (a German restaurant) drew our attention to the restaurant. The staff is really friendly. The ambiance inside is also quite appealing, the starter is free, and the food was served very quickly. We enjoyed the main course, although it was a bit too spicy in places, but the butter naan in particular was veeery tasty. We also parked in the free parking lot of the Mainz public utility company (about a 5-minute walk).

A truly lovely Indian restaurant with fair prices and a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. We sat outside on the small, simple terrace – right next to the street, which is thankfully very quiet. It's a very pleasant place to relax when the weather is nice. We especially recommend the Punjabi Paneer Masala, Palak Paneer, and the garlic naan – everything was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared (see photo). For holders of the Schlemmerblock (a discount voucher booklet), a visit is even more worthwhile, as you can save money there.

Good Indian food. The food was delicious, although the Punjab tandoori could have been a bit more spicy. The garlic naan bread was good. The service was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. All four dishes were served promptly. The restaurant is a bit more elegant inside, while the outside area is a bit more simple. Despite sitting outside right next to the street, it was very quiet and there was very little traffic.

Teach your henchmen that a "No Soliciting" sign on the mailbox is meant to be. Anyone who still posts their solicitation to me will automatically receive a bad review from me! If I have a craving for Eastern food, I'm capable enough to search for/research it online myself. An annoying flyer in the mailbox will only make me not go to you.

We visited spontaneously on a Monday evening. The restaurant was packed! But luckily they had a table free for us. The food was very, very good!

My brain still can't process that statement about an Indian restaurant. But my aloo gobi was by far the most tasteless food I've ever been served at a restaurant. And the naan bread tasted like it came straight from a package, but wasn't baked properly.

Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good at all. The food was very watery and barely seasoned, and the naan bread was very hard and chewy, probably from the day before. Delivery took 1.5 hours, and the price isn't justified for such small portions.

This was the worst Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at in the Rhine-Main area. The food arrived late, and the palak paneer was watery and barely seasoned. The naan bread was definitely from the day before or even older; it was tough and dry. The worst naan bread I've ever eaten! The prices are completely disproportionate to the quality (€15 for palak paneer).

We ordered the offer with two Sabzi Chicken and one Tikka Massala. Unfortunately, the sauce was very watery, the dish seemed very diluted and there was hardly any chicken in it. The taste of the dishes was also not convincing at all. Very disappointing - we will not order from here again.

The food is good but I wanted more of the taste from India. The service was very friendly. Warm colors that are typical of India would have been nice and would have made the ambience appear more cozy than the blue walls. But I wouldn't rule out a visit again

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. The mixed starter plate was okay, but the rest of the food was hardly seasoned... The various dishes from the thali (vegetarian and lamb) were unfortunately very watery. The meat quality of the lamb was also rather “mixed”. I still give it 3 stars because the service was very nice and the prices were still reasonable. If you want to eat on site, you should make a reservation in advance - at least on weekends - and keep in mind that some of the tables will be very cramped and you will (inevitably) understand every word the person sitting next to you says.

Should have asked for more spice

Have eaten here several times and ordered very often. The food tastes great and very aromatic. The butter chicken and the naan bread here are our personal highlights, but the other dishes we tried were also very good. If you want to try your hand at Indian cuisine, you can't go wrong here!

Even 1 star is too much for it. It has nothing to do with Indian food. I ordered samosa and garlic naan with chicken tikka masala and butter chicken none of the dishes is authentic. You can smell in the samosa that the frying oil is old and absolutely not Indian samosa. Over all the food is not Indian just a sauce with rice.
