It was simply fantastic! You receive a warm welcome the moment you enter. The owner is a real highlight – incredibly friendly, accommodating, and with a passion for hospitality that's rare these days. He took time for us, and we had a very pleasant, personal conversation. We received excellent advice regarding our choice of dishes. The food? An absolute dream! Fresh, aromatic, perfectly seasoned – every dish was a taste experience. You can tell that the food is cooked with love and dedication... honestly, you can't go wrong here. Anyone who loves good Indian food and appreciates genuine, heartfelt service should definitely pay this restaurant a visit. We'll definitely be back!

We were there today and had a wonderful time. The Indian food was fantastic and the service was amazing. The owner was very nice, and everything from the food to the service was perfect. I'm from Frankfurt, but when I'm ever in Wiesbaden, I'll try other dishes there, as the menu is extensive.

I found Dawn Food via Google Maps, as I was looking for a quick, hot meal in my area. The restaurant has the ambiance and seating of a fast food stall, and is so inconspicuously located in a parking lot on a side street in the middle of the Mainz-Hechtsheim commercial area that you're incredulous that Indian cuisine is served there. The quality of the food is in such stark contrast that you almost feel sorry for the owner that he can't showcase his culinary skills in a more appropriate setting. The chicken tikka masala was delicious, and I had it with equally delicious garlic naan (garlic bread). The owner/chef was very friendly and gave me detailed advice on my choice of dishes. He also accommodated my special requests and prepared the chicken a little milder. The food would have deserved 5 stars, but I'm deducting one star for the uncomfortable seating and the unpleasant surroundings. If you don't mind the poor ambiance, you can enjoy authentic, high-quality Indian food at Dawn Food at a perfectly reasonable price. The restaurant has since reopened in Wiesbaden, so my comments on the ambiance are outdated.

We've been there for lunch three times, and we have to say, each time we've received a warm welcome, excellent service, and the food is incredibly delicious. The tables are beautifully set and invite you to return. In addition to the lunch menu, there's also a separate menu with all sorts of other delicious dishes to try. I went today because of the many good reviews and was not disappointed. The table was placed on the other side of the hut so that I could eat in the evening sun. It was really tasty, the service was very friendly and accommodating and the price was quite normal. A bit inconspicuous from the outside as a hut in a parking lot, but the price-performance, taste and customer orientation are convincing.

It's just a snack bar, it's way too expensive for what it is. The food is not badly seasoned but everything is cooked too soft and just a mush. You first have to look for meat in the dish. Not recommended.

Also a dessert for which I can’t remember the name.. The packaging is effective as the food was still warm when we arrived home. We had been looking for good Indian food and now we found it!
