It's just a snack bar, it's way too expensive for what it is. The food is not badly seasoned but everything is cooked too soft and just a mush. You first have to look for meat in the dish. Not recommended.

The owner is very friendly and we had a nice conversation while he prepared the food for about 10 minutes. We had butter chicken and vindaloo with naan bread on the side. Also a dessert for which I can’t remember the name.. The packaging is effective as the food was still warm when we arrived home. We had been looking for good Indian food and now we found it! Everything was very tasty and fresh. Totally recommend.

Who would expect wonderfully fresh, aromatic and delicious Indian cuisine between the TÜV and the recycling center? But there is! The dishes are very well prepared and served with good advice, humor and a smile. This will be a regular place!

Very, very good Indian cuisine with a very nice owner who refined my evening today with the best Indian food. Even though the small spot is somewhat hidden in the industrial area, I can only recommend a visit here to fans of Indian cuisine. My food was freshly prepared, you could taste it and smell it on the spot (the smell of spices...). I was thrilled by the owner's personal recommendation to order number 11. With authentic spiciness. Many other Indian restaurants can take a page from the taste and quality here, it's not a one-size-fits-all affair. I'll be back ☺️🙏🏻

The dishes are freshly prepared and convinced me 100%; they are extremely tasty and perfectly seasoned. I can recommend her without reservation. In addition, the chef is nice and hospitable. There is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere there.

We had a spontaneous meal here today. I didn't even know that this snack bar even existed in Mainz. It was extremely tasty and of fresh quality. I haven't eaten Indian food as good as here in Mainz. It's worth a visit, very tasty and the service was first class and very attentive and accommodating. There is the option to eat outside, we found it very cozy and we felt comfortable. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of visiting Dawn Food Indian Kitchen and my experience was simply amazing! From the start I was greeted by a warm welcome. The menu offers a wide selection of delicious Indian dishes, all freshly prepared. I chose the Chicken Tikka Korma and absolutely loved the perfect balance of spices and flavors. The portions were generous and the food was served hot and fresh. The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly and always eager to ensure my dining experience was memorable. They were also very helpful in explaining the different dishes on the menu and even made recommendations based on my preferences. The drinks menu offered a good selection of suitable drinks. I chose a Mango Lassi which went perfectly with my dish and was refreshing. All in all, my visit to Dawn Food was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it. I'm already looking forward to coming back next time to try more of their delicious food.

The owner was incredibly friendly and they had the best butter chicken I have eaten in Germany. Individual sharpness requests are also taken into account. Insider tip: the glass noodle dessert! Not found anywhere else in Germany.

Finally a delicious Indian place outside of the city center! I've been getting food here for several months now and can highly recommend it. From the outside it looks like an inconspicuous snack bar, but don't let that fool you. The food is fantastic and the owner is incredibly friendly! He even called me back outside of business hours once when I mistakenly called on a Sunday and wanted to order.

Really tasty! We often eat Indian food all over the world and have already tried them all in Mainz, this Indian is brutally delicious and currently the best. You can taste everything well and it's not overly seasoned. It could be a bit more intense but at least no flavor enhancers or anything and that's the most important thing!!! Super tasty and authentic, especially recommended for the homemade pickles

Vergessen Sie die teuren indischen Restaurant von Mainz, Wiesbaden und Frankfurt. Dort ist das Essen lasch gewürzt und kaum zu unterscheiden von Thai. Dieser kleine und auf den ersten Blick unscheinbare Imbiss trifft genau das Herz von Indien. Dort steht auch kein lustloser Mitarbeiter, der einfach seinen Feierabend abwartet, sondern Besitzer und Chefkoch persönlich am Herd und kocht so, wie man es in Indien auch wirklich kriegt.

Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder kommen. (Wird bestimmt spätestens nächste Woche wieder soweit sein :D ) Der Service war super und der Ladenbesitzer super lieb und freundlich. Das Essen hat mega gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren so groß, dass ich zwei mal davon essen konnte. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist auch top. Wie bereits gesagt sehr empfehlenswert.

Es war unglaublich lecker! Wir haben uns das Gericht mit Okraschoten, das mit den schwarzen Linsen und das mit Kichererbsen geholt, dazu gab’s noch ein Knoblauchnaan. Wir haben alles zu dritt geteilt und haben nicht alles geschafft und den Rest mitgenommen. Der Besitzer ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder 😍

Wunderbares Essen aus der indischen Küche mit entsprechend vielen vegetarischen Gerichten. Alleine der Geruch der Gewürze ist ein Traum. Und dazu noch ein sehr, sehr netter Betreiber.

Es war wirklich gut! Dazu ein nettes Gespräch während man auf sein essen gewartet hat und auf wünsche bezüglich der scharfe wurde auch Rücksicht genommen. Die 3 - Pakoras kannten wir bisher nicht aber würde es immer wieder bestellen und dazu noch die Chutney-Soße Minze-Joghurt, die es uns besonders angetan hat.

Sehr netter Chef, der seine indische Küche gut beherrscht. War lecker und hat gut geschmeckt! Ich werde wieder mal vorbeikommen.
