I ordered a delivery from eatDOORI. I love that the menu offers vegan/vegetarian chicken substitute. I am positive the planted chicken pepper fry would have been delicious had it been delivered as ordered. I ordered my delivery for 20:10, but the food was delivered around 19:45 while I was still out, which means it was almost cold by the time I got the opportunity to eat it.

The lunch was fantastic! Absolutely fantastic! Deliciously fresh, and the service from the staff was great. Definitely go if you're in Mainz!

The food is very good, but we had to speak English with the waiter because he spoke very little German.

The food is delicious and authentic. You can sit outside on Augustinergasse, a very pretty street in Mainz. The fried cauliflower as a starter is highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended. I really enjoyed the coconut and tofu lemon rice. The taste reminded me of my home country. I would love to come back when I'm in Mainz. Good vegetarian options. I found them to be a tasteful blend of Indian and German cuisines.

I ordered butter chicken for €18. It was very tasty, but it wasn't good value for money, as I wasn't full afterward. I can still recommend it, as there's hardly any waiting time and the food was at least tasty.

Eatdoori has most authentic Indian taste out of the restaurants I have eaten at in Germany. Especially, they are able to get it right when it comes to the street food like chaats, samosas and vadapav. Definitely recommended.

He never disclose his name to us for add here, but he really very sweet and gave value to us.. personally recommend to come here from side..

Fantastic food. From starters to main courses, everything was outstandingly good. Indian cuisine on a whole new level. I highly recommend eating here. The excellent food is complemented by fantastic, personalized service. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef and getting his meal recommendations. The summer menu features special dishes that are ideal for warm summer days. We will definitely be back.

The food was truly delicious—especially the butter chicken. It was perfectly seasoned and beautifully creamy. The service was also top-notch—super friendly and attentive. There was no light in the restroom, but it was okay with a candle.

Fabulous restaurant in Mainz if you’re craving Indian food!

Although I haven't eaten meat for over 10 years and ordered a vegan dish, I was accidentally served a meat dish, which I started eating with a clear conscience. Mistakes can happen – but instead of a proper apology or at least making amends with a drink or a small gesture, the situation was dismissed rather rudely, especially by one of the servers. I received the correct dish – that's the least I could do. But I was even charged for the incorrectly delivered dish in the end, not for what I actually ate. It's a shame – that's not how you treat guests. I certainly won't go back there, especially since the burger was very soggy.

Manager was great and the team is spendid along with customised desi touch of taste. Even though the kitchen was closed, they accommodated my request and provided me with a great service after a request over call.

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of the old town with a delicious menu. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is definitely one of my favorites now.

Great curry full of flavour. We had the goan prawn and chicken tikka masala. They had a nice level of spice and heat. Portion sizes are generous, and curries come with rice.

Eat doori is a gem. Great food and good service. I had the lamb and butter naan, the others had the chicken and paneer thalis. The beer was so so. We had outdoor seating despite the inclement weather, and the staff took care to ensure we didn't get wet.

Great and so friendly service. Fresh, crispy dishes and great explanations when I had questions 😍 The vegetarian Korma Veg dish was very, very tasty, as was the Chicken Tikka Masala dish 😍 The garlic naan was full of chopped garlic, yum 😍

I've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed!

Chic place, the food comes quickly and tastes very good. Unfortunately, they no longer offer those fancy set meals where you get a tray with all sorts of little things. Now you have to decide what you want. It's not too bad, of course, because it still tastes good!

You guys are so ridiculous haha. Ordered food at 8:20 PM and it still wasn't there at 10:51 PM. We tried calling about a hundred times. Once they said the outside company was at fault, once they said they'd call back. Eventually, we just got a voicemail. The boss probably got fed up and blocked our number. The refund had to be processed through Lieferando customer service. It's crazy that they can't deliver the orders themselves like just about every other restaurant in the world. Shame on you!

Great food. We had the paneer pav and the vegetable biryani. I rarely come across good Indian restaurants in Germany. This proved to be an exception. The cocktails with an Indian twist were a nice touch.

What you find in Doori is genuine hospitality. The food is a good mixture of Indian flavors with a German and European improvisation. The atmosphere was relaxing and Prabh took care of us so well. Highly recommend the place to try out, if you come to Mainz.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever eaten at. Everything was good: the lamb, the cheese naans, and the lassi. They were very nice to us even though about ten of us showed up without a reservation 😂

Perfect atmosphere, food Service

I love Indian food, but I was relatively disappointed with the presentation and taste, given the prices. Neither naan tasted as usual, and the sauce was inedible. It was also the wrong one served, but I only discovered it on the receipt, and it was incredibly expensive for the amount. Other restaurants serve these for free.

We organised a wedding dinner in the indian restaurant and it was fantastic. Food and service was great.

Prabh served us really well. His suggestions were perfect. The restaurant overall had choices that intrigued me - even as a native.
