Kentucky Fried Chicken in Chemnitz

Finally, a KFC where you feel comfortable, not like those filthy Berlin restaurants. My food was hot and cooked through, the breading wasn't too heavy, the tables were clean, the shop was clean, and the restrooms were hygienic. I didn't have to wait 5 minutes for my order. The service spoke German and was friendly. I'd love to go there more often, but it's easily 400 km away 😢

So expensive! For a citizen with a small hand, a small Coke costs €10. I left hungry.

Let's be honest, Kentucky Fried Chicken has been better. It's clear that prices won't stay the same, but at least the quality should stay the same. The portions are getting smaller, the fries are getting sloppier... The quality should improve...

Ordering at the terminals was not very intuitive. Ordering via the app didn't work at all.

Today, for my son's sake, I went to KFC again – for the LAST time! We had a meal and a bucket, which was supposed to include dips and multiple layers of mayo. At the table, I noticed that nothing was included. When I asked if that was missing, I was told I had to customize it. I would have to pay extra at that point if I wanted dips/mayo. As I said, never again with such customer service for such overpriced, substandard food.

Unfortunately, you can only order at the ordering terminal and not in person. The terminal is confusing, and if you're not familiar with it, it's hard to know what to order. There are so-called "buckets." In my desperation, I ordered one for a lot of money without knowing exactly what it was. It was a complete disaster. It was far too greasy and tasted absolutely nothing. More than half of it ended up in the trash. Is it really too expensive for KFC to at least set up a counter where you can get advice? Well, for me, that's settled once and for all.

Bucket menu for €25 - Personalization: If you don't personalize, you'll get unwanted side dishes instead of the ones shown on the order picture. This is misleading!

I don't think there's much to say; when it comes to chicken, they're simply amazing. It's not much more expensive than McDonald's or Burger King, but it tastes much better and looks more pleasant. You can't complain about the cleanliness either. Sure, you could find something if you looked for it, but at first glance, everything was fine. The food quality is top-notch; they know their craft. I would definitely come back. What really annoys me is the delivery radius, which is far too small. I live maybe 15 minutes away by car, and they don't deliver there. That's why I'm deducting one star.

Unfortunately, the food was completely overseasoned. The burgers were extremely salty and therefore inedible.

It seems clean so far. But we didn't order anything. Luckily, someone warned us that they themselves wait 30 minutes for their orders. So we went somewhere else because we didn't want to put ourselves through that. It was pretty busy, but by no means so busy that you'd have to wait that long for your food at a fast-food restaurant.

Very tasty food and very friendly and helpful staff. KFC is very easy to reach from the highway.

I haven't been to this restaurant many times, I would rate it 5 stars because there was nothing wrong with the food or the service, but today I'm only giving it 3 stars because the restaurant closed 1 hour before closing time.

A ton of flies flying at the food. The fries were way too salty. The Zinger Burger had very little meat. The Squid Game Burger and wings were also way too salty. I eat a lot of salt, but this is top-notch salt. I stopped here because of the good reviews, but it was a complete disappointment.

Unfortunately, this was my worst experience at KFC so far. The food was served unusually quickly, which surprised me at first. But it quickly became clear why: It was cold, and the fries tasted like they were from the day before. I also ordered the new "Squid Game Burger" – this was also cold, and the bun and chicken were soggy. What was particularly unpleasant was that there were black particles in my drink. After pointing this out to the staff, I was given a new cup. I tried a different drink – again, there were particles in it. So I was given another cup and tried the second machine this time. But there were black residues in the drink again. When I pointed out that both machines were apparently contaminated and suspected that they might not have been cleaned, an employee responded in a cheeky tone: "The manager cleaned them especially today." When I asked for a new cup again, she said, annoyed, that she couldn't keep giving me new ones. Apart from that, I was disappointed by the hygiene of this branch – even the toilets gave the impression that the floor was cleaned at most once a month.

There are only digital ordering kiosks or online ordering via the app, which often doesn't work. The employees are fully occupied in the kitchen and therefore have almost no time to help customers. Of course, this isn't their fault, as it's the system of this customer-unfriendly chain restaurant. The food wasn't particularly good either. The sauces/marinades were tasteless, the buns had a strange consistency and flavor, and the chicken could use some seasoning. Unfortunately, not recommended. Better to go to the competition.

My review is certainly influenced by the fact that I generally find the food at KFC very tasty, and I've been there often enough to find my way around the somewhat confusing menu. At KFC, I highly recommend everyone try the corn on the cob instead of the usual fries. The coleslaw is also very tasty. Some of the kids really enjoy the mashed potatoes.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at this KFC. There were long wait times even though the restaurant was relatively busy. The prices were far too high for the quality offered. The burger simply looks sad. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, my visit to KFC Chemnitz was disappointing. The employees seemed overwhelmed and stressed, which also affected the service. There was hardly any friendliness, and the overall process seemed very chaotic – long wait times, incorrect orders, and a lack of organization. There's definitely room for improvement here, both in customer service and in internal process organization.

This was definitely our last time there. The order at the terminal was unclear. The bucket we ordered wasn't what we actually received. We assumed we'd get what was shown in the accompanying picture. The side dishes and dip were missing. Instead, we got four fries. The same was true for the kids' boxes. The picture shown wasn't what was given to us in the boxes. The Capri-Sun was missing, but we were given two cups to get our own drinks. When we asked the employees, they didn't understand. Disappointing in every line. Accordingly, we were also disappointed with the price, as we didn't eat what we expected.

I got the box with 18 Hot Wings. Unfortunately, there were only 16 in it, and what a mess. Completely dried out, with very little left. Never again for that price.

Super delicious, good value for money, but the atmosphere could be a bit more cozy for my taste. Service is hard to rate; restaurants like this are designed to have as few staff as possible.

40 minutes before closing time, the kitchen closes... Absolute impudence! When I asked if we could make a few more Crispies, the only answer we got was that the kitchen was already closed. We drove an extra half hour to KFC only to go home empty-handed. Really great. Then adjust your opening hours if you stop selling food 40 minutes beforehand. Absolute disappointment. Then we go to BurgerKing next door and they still sell food, as they should, at least until the official closing time.

Well... We took a detour specifically to eat there again for a long time. Unfortunately there is no comparison to previous years. Since you have to order at the terminal, it is very difficult for casual customers to find the right thing. The food was ready quickly. But really only lukewarm. I personally didn't like the fries. They had probably been there for a while and were cold and soft. Overall, it wasn't anywhere near the taste experience we knew before. Of course, the portions have now become much smaller and more expensive. We've had enough, but we won't be going back any time soon. Too bad.

Absolutely not...the burgers were cold and the onion rings were totally soggy...the staff reacted negatively to the complaint.

Food was very tasty, as always. I had a cheese bacon burger on the menu with fries and 3 hot wings. In the ambience there is -1 🌟 because the toilets were unclean. For men it's the sink and for women it's the partitions and doors. But that can be fixed quickly.

We ordered a family salad with fries. The fries were too salty. We wanted to change the BBQ sauce to sweet and sour, the staff informed us that this was not possible. I don't know why that wasn't possible, we didn't ruin the sauces. Never again

On 11.03.25 at 19:00, I entered KFC and ordered my food as usual at the self-service kiosk. When it was time to pay, an error occurred, and my card was not accepted. I tried another kiosk and a different card, but the problem persisted, so we went to the counter for help. At the counter, there was an employee (medium height, not much hair, older). My boyfriend and I politely asked if he spoke English, to which he sharply replied, "No!" We still tried to explain our issue as simply as possible and showed him the receipt from the kiosk. Instead of assisting us, he gave us a rude look, said something in German, turned his back on us, and completely ignored us as if we weren’t even there. Such behavior towards customers is absolutely unacceptable. I kindly ask that this incident be reviewed and that the employee is reminded that respect and customer service are essential in this line of work.

Actually not even worth a star. Service is getting worse and less friendly. The quality of the food is also very poor. You have to order at the terminal, extra changes to the kids menu (burgers) are only possible after ordering from the staff and if you order at the terminal and pay in cash you don't get a receipt. Also not possible upon request. We probably won't come here again. Price performance no longer fits at all.

The establishment is moderately busy, because of this it is possible to comfortably settle down and not have to wait long for an order

I visited KFC for the first time in my life and was very upset. The potatoes were cold and very salty, the wings were just oil and bones, and there was a hair in the sauce. Also, the staff was very noisy, you couldn't even hear yourself because of how loudly they spoke and something was constantly creating loud and unpleasant noise, and as the cherry on the cake, the entire staff was watching you eat.

We went after a long time with children and this KFC branch was the closest. The food was good, the waiting time was short.. but the service does not deserve more than one star. They hardly say hello, they look annoyed at customers and if you want something from them, they send you where the sun don't shine. In total, we made orders over €100 and when I said that they gave us the wrong sauces (because no one eats BBQ sauce in our place and I personally changed it for another when ordering), they told me that they would not change the sauce. What's the problem with little kids swapping BBQ sauce for ketchup?? And when we said that we left so much money here, all the employees started laughing. It's just that the customer comes last here. The behavior of the waiter spoiled the overall impression and our appetite. So we will never go here again 👎

Once again an example of how a single branch manager ruins the image of an entire brand. Today at 2:13 p.m. purchase for €22.47. BBQ was automatically included twice as dips. I would have liked to swap a BBQ dip for a garlic dip. The employee and the shift manager refused the exchange request. They weren't allowed to do this, their boss would have strictly forbidden it. Extremely embarrassing for a "penny item", customer service is zero. My opinion: Someone has missed their job here.

Just 10/10. The food was divine, we ate our fill (who cares, 25 euros for two people). Below is a photo of a cheeseburger, and no, this is not sauce, this is real normal and tasty melted cheese. The strips are crispy. Everything is fine (by the way, there is an original cheeseburger recipe from the Colonel :)). Inside Everything is clean inside and already prepared for New Year's Eve. In short, everything is at the highest level, I highly recommend it. The only negative is working without gloves, but unfortunately, let's count how many times have you seen people working with gloves? Here you go. P.s. I read here what people write differently. Apparently the establishment has corrected its mistakes. The potatoes are also hot and crispy, and not like others write. The prices are also normal, 25 euros for two people and you can eat until you can't stomach it, in my opinion this is a completely healthy price.

Since my granddaughter really wanted to go there, I let myself go with her, even though I actually wanted to go to the fast food restaurant 50m away. Disappointment across the board. Flabby, only lukewarm French fries, the burger bun was worn out after a short time and I've eaten better burgers. I won't let myself go there again.

Delicious food, fairly quick service and an American style But expensive

No soap in the dispenser in the toilet, the container for paper towels was completely dirty. The food was completely oily with a mushy taste. Conclusion: Never again.

You have to like it. At least the place was clean. Outdoor area and lighting dirty and partially defective. The parking lot is very dark. The food itself is a matter of taste. Prices very overpriced.

Menu ordered with fries, then mashed potatoes were served at the counter. When asked, they said there were no fries. Strangely, other guests who complained more got fries. The little man with the Napoleon complex was pretty strange too. Maybe you can have a button-up polo in the service. The one colleague who brought us food was super friendly, she had all these pins.

Saturday 10:45 p.m., on the way to KFC's Dive In. There's a car parked sideways in the driveway. Okay, I thought, just go in. All chairs put up - closed sign from 10 p.m. We are a city with 250,000 inhabitants, not a cow town, KFC, why do you close so early on Saturday.

I'm incredibly disappointed, I was really looking forward to KFC and then everything in the store backfired. At the beginning you have to open the heavy electronic door yourself because it's broken and it hardly opens, only with a lot of force. I also ordered an 18€ menu in which the fries had already been out 10 minutes beforehand and had turned dark yellow and were no longer fresh or tasty at all. I also ordered a Zinger Burger in which the cheese wasn't even melted, I'm leaving assuming that the Zinger Burger without cheese had already been sitting outside for 10 minutes and the slice of cheese was simply slapped on top. I'm incredibly disappointed. I won't be visiting this store again anytime soon.

I used to enjoy going to KFC, but the quality has drastically deteriorated. We ordered 2 menus, the burgers weren't particularly big and the meat on them was hard to find. The Zinger Burger was very dry and so were the hot wings. You really could hardly eat them. They used to be nice and juicy and still had meat on their bones. Today just breading. You would be able to endure the whole thing if you didn't have to pay almost 30 euros for it! A “real” burger shop is more worthwhile. KFC is hopelessly overpriced for this quality. That was my last time at KFC for a long time. Too bad. The 2 stars are because the store was clean and the food was ready quickly. However, it was freezing cold. We even had to keep our jackets on while eating because it was so uncomfortable.

Well, I love KFC and it's my favorite of all the fast food chains, but There were no fries to order, even though there were some in the fryer, and the hot salsa was out, EVEN THOUGH it was on the counter. When I asked, they just said that I couldn't exchange my unopened sauce, I would have to order it for a fee... Nothing else comes to mind... Didn't even go to order. Next thing. The apple spritzer...I've never drunk anything that was called apple spritzer and tasted so little like it... If I drink apple juice and then pee in a glass, it tastes more like it than this concoction….

As with every KFC, the food is good but definitely too expensive. There is absolutely no relationship between price and performance. I would therefore rather go to the Golden M or Burger König. If it has to be fast food, then at least it won't leave you poor afterwards... E.g. €18.99 for the original bucket (8 chicken pieces) is really very expensive because there weren't even any drinks included...

The preparation took a very long time, apparently the employees didn't understand each other or didn't speak the same language. Then our order was incorrect which resulted in another waiting time. All in all, it's actually very disappointing because there are already so few branches here in Germany and they are also poorly managed.
