Kebap with Attitude in Berlin

Never had a kebap like this before ! Amazing 🤩

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the service. There was only one server, a Turkish woman with black hair, who was incredibly slow. She spent around 15 minutes at each table, and I couldn’t understand what she was discussing with the customers – perhaps the history of döner? This became a major problem as she was the only one working. We waited 20 minutes for our food and another 25 minutes just to get the bill. When I politely asked her if she was the only one working and expressed my sympathy for her workload, she responded with a rather dismissive “Don’t be sorry; I’m very happy.” Her attitude was not only unprofessional but also inconsiderate of the customers’ time and comfort. She didn’t even bother to apologize for the delays. Overall, this restaurant seems severely understaffed, and the lack of proper customer service makes it difficult to recommend.

In general, it is delicious food, but I think you should ask for less salt, as my food was very salty.

The kebab’s were luscious and the truffle fries were perfectly crispy and had actual shaved truffles with yogurt which were not too sour. :}

Expected much more. You pay quite a bit compared to changing. The sandwiches were small and cold. The ingredients are fresh, but the quantity is still very small for the price.

A kebab shop with good seating inside and outside (on the courtyard side). Very quiet. Service was quick. Doner kebabs come in many different varieties and sizes. Had classic with rice. Was very tasty.

Since we didn't have a reservation, we had to sit at the entrance, but we were still happy. The kebabs were served in a very special way, which definitely stood out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The young man who took our orders was very personable. We liked him and he informed us well about the dishes. The lighting in the room was a bit dim - it felt like you were having dinner in a bar. But overall it was a nice experience. Thank you!

Informal and welcoming environment. Hummus is a lentil soup that you absolutely must try. Wide choice of excellent quality kebabs. Highly recommended

I have never eaten such a good kebab in my life! Had the truffle Delüks, unbelievable, it was a taste explosion! You can simply taste the quality of the individual ingredients, keep it up!

It was about time to get this delicious dish from the “snack corner”! If you like to enjoy this combination of meat, side dishes and sauces in a fresh flatbread or the whole thing as a dish, THEN you MUST taste what KWA produces every day in Mitte! I was also recently impressed by their “special offer”, the handmade Mantī! I had the version with truffles. Bomb.

The perfect shop for every occasion: for something quick in between, a date night or when the parents are visiting. The food is fresh, prepared with love and the feel-good factor is guaranteed. The concept is consistent and the specials are worth coming back again and again. Yes, there is really good kebab... but so much more than that.

This was a fantastic restaurant, offering an elevated take on the classic Doner. The Doner itself was delicious—flavorful and well-prepared. It was a bit dry for my taste, but the staff were more than happy to provide extra sauce, which made it perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. While it’s a bit pricier than your typical Doner spot, it’s clear that this isn’t just an ordinary fast-food joint. You’re paying for the quality, presentation, and a more refined dining experience. If you’re looking to enjoy a premium take on a beloved dish with excellent service in a nice atmosphere, this place is well worth the visit.

The food was really good and we sat nicely. Had the vegetarian version and was very happy with it. Portions are good in my opinion. The starters were probably a bit small, but normal for a restaurant. Of course it's more expensive than a kebab in a stall on the side of the road - but you sit decently, are served and have a great selection of unusual variations. I find the reviews that complain about the price ridiculous. The place is called kebab with attitude and that’s what you get.

We were looking for a place to try the famous Berlin kebab and found this place with a bit of a more homemade and fancy version of kebab. Everything was wonderful, perfect vibes, amazing food, and really nice staff. We ordered the smoky tschick and the truffle deluks and both were really flavourful, we really recommend

Best doner in Berlin! Also they serve Turkish tea while you wait for your order or check which is a rare thing here. What I recommend to restaurant itself (or the manager) is that you should alter you tea glasses to authentic “ince belli” cay glasses :). Cheers!

An alternative kebap! It was very good and beautiful. The mezze was also very tasty. The place is modern and in a neon urban underground style, and the basement, where the men's and women's bathrooms are located, is super fascinating, it felt like being in a techno club. We will be back in the summer!

Lady at the front was fantastic otherwise I would have lowered the stars above. Other service was slow. Most importantly this Doner is twice the cost as Rüyam Gemüse Kebab 2 and not as good (me and my colleague agreed). Restaurant was family friendly with lots of kids. Very disappointing after reading a blog entry about best doners in Berlin. The blog said 8€. A Doner was more like 12-13 €. I got the mixed which was okay. My friend got the chicken and it was overly done and dry.

Paid 30€ for a low-meat kebab (13€ a kebab, no truffle), what felt like 20 grams of manti and 2 drinks (5€ each?). But you can also overdo it, right? I would be happy if the staff were paid well because they were really nice.

Absolutely delicious döner. Had the chicken my partner had the vegan option. I may have had that, as the cauliflower was delicious. Highly recommended. The service was fantastic and the music is fantastic. Check out the downstairs bathrooms for a full experience.

Efficient staff, a slightly confusing location full of people, good food, but too much and the beef was a bit rubbery. Average, I don't think it's the best I've ever eaten. A little expensive for the food served.

We were there for a business lunch. The service was friendly and helpful. The furnishings are pleasantly designed. The food can be selected using a QR code (clear / English). Orders are placed through the staff. Food, as already described, very tasty and not standard. If you're looking for something different, this is the right place. Top!

So good. A fancy (but still very much down to earth) spin on a Berlin classic. Importantly, the staff is always nice, even when it’s busy.

The restaurant was really impressive! The fries were perfectly crispy and the ranch dressing on the side was really tasty. The homemade iced tea and lemonade were also refreshing and went well with the food. The service was the highlight - super nice and cool service, you really feel welcome as a guest. However, I would have liked the NFC Kebap to be a little more tender and even more special; There is still room for improvement here. Overall, solid 4 stars, but another visit isn't necessary now. I think Berlin has a lot more to offer

Different Kebap. Lots of meat. Too much lettuce. Not enough sauce. I got as a delivery so maybe it didn’t go quite as it should? Pricey in any case. The Empanada, although pricey for one was off the scale delicious though.

Pricey but the chicken tray was outstanding

12.50 EUR for a maximum average chicken kebab? You can only do that in the middle. You can barely taste the sauces, the meat was just okay and the salad was absolutely boring. Better get a real kebab and save yourself this overpriced hipster stuff.

I ate the kebab with asparagus, i.e. the Beelitzer kebab, and I have rarely eaten something so incredibly delicious. I think the price of €14.90 is absolutely worth it!!!

ebab with Attitude is overrated. Although it is recommended in magazines, the prices are overpriced (almost double the usual) and do not justify the quality of the food or the service. It's not worth four stars.

I visited this restaurant after hearing great recommendations and was excited to try it, despite having traveled a long way. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. When I arrived, I asked for a table and was told I could only sit outside, even though I could clearly see at least five empty tables inside. The employee told me they were all booked. I accepted this explanation but noticed two more tables became vacant as I waited. When I mentioned this to the clerk, I was told the tables had already been given out—one to a group of three people and one to a single person, which didn’t make sense to me as I was alone as well. When I pointed out the inconsistency, the only response I received was a dismissive “sorry, but I’m stressed.” No effort was made to resolve the situation or improve the service. It’s disappointing when customer care takes a backseat, especially after making a special effort to visit a highly recommended place.

Quite tasty, I didn't find the meat that tasty because it was sliced ​​very thinly, but the salad was fresh and I liked the cucumbers in the kebab 😍! However, it was very expensive, a kebab around €12.

Disappointing is the word. For a 13 euros döner I expect perfection or something close to it, but what I got was a slightly above average meat wich was completely covered by some pretty bad sauces, that leave you with a distinct McDonald's aftertaste. The rest of the sandwich was also underwhelming. Service was good though, and that's prettty the only reedeming quality of this place. Avoid

It really wasn't that nice. Way too overpriced at 13 (!) Euros and, to be honest, somehow inauthentic. Never go to a kebab that isn't Turkish again.

The four of us spontaneously went to Kebap with Attitude this evening and will not be visiting the restaurant again. For €12.50 you get a relatively small kebab where the meat tastes like over-salted minced meat. Unfortunately, our special requests were not taken into account by the kitchen and one of them received the wrong dish. “Fritz Kola Sugar Free” is listed as a drink on the menu. However, if you order this you will receive the Fritz Kola “Super Zero”, which tastes completely different. Conclusion: Definitely not worth the money.

The “attitude” is not worth the price. I ordered a kebab without red cabbage, but unfortunately I received a kebab with it. The veal was really very salty, and was similar to the taste of minced meat. The big outrage is the price, 12.5 for a mediocre kebab. I ordered a Fritz Zero, but received a Super Zero. Was a helpful lesson.

The kebab is ok but not outstanding either. The service is courteous and the ambience is great.

The most extraordinary kebab restaurant in Berlin. The Truffle Deluxe Tray is my absolute favorite dish.

We love coming to Kebap with Attitude. Both during the lunch break and privately. The Truffle Deluxe Kebab in the tray is a real highlight. We can also recommend the Ceaser salad and the Tschick kebab.

We're not going to lie, it's a very expensive restaurant to eat a kebab. However, the table service was fantastic, the kebab was also of rare quality with fresh produce. It’s an original experience revisiting the Berliner fast food with an upgrade in quality and service.

Really nice place for a good kebab. Lots to choose from good real meat. Plenty of seating and fast service. We recommend using at least two dressings so that the kebab does not become too dry.

Nice place, great atmosphere inside and the server was lovely. They pride themselves on good meat quality of their kebab, so if you want to taste it then order something simple (the OG). The sauces were too overpowering for the tender taste of the thin-sliced meat (I ordered the Klassik). The bread is pretty thick. Overall, tasty if you stick to the basics or if you’d rather taste something other than the meat. Quite pricey.

Just the best kebab of my entire life!! Original recipe with mango chuttney, I also recommend the cheesecake which was wonderful and the homemade lemonade

The portions are large and delicious, and the outdoor seating atmosphere is great. It’s a store I’d like to visit several times if I have the chance.

14.50 euros for a halloumi in bread with no frills. Quality okay, but price/performance below ground. Every average Berlin kebab shop is at least as good in quality, if not better, and the price is much more reasonable.

A fresh new take on Kebap and truly respecting the Turkish traditional taste while adding a couple of modern twits. Cozy little garden un the back is nice or you simply sit outside on the road, it's quiet. Friendly and fast staff.

Definitely not the average kebab spot. Nice and cosy place -especially the garden, very fresh and tasty products, but also way too pricey.

Had an Uncle OG, the meat was very tasty, but I found it far too small for the price, too little meat. The fries weren't crispy and the flatbread around them was unfortunately cold and tasted like it came from the wholesale market. All in all, nice idea but way too expensive.

I am not ready yet to pay 12+ Euro for a döner sandwich. The taste is not as good as Hasir but definitely good. Service is too slow for a döner restaurant.

You can sit nicely in the square. Nice friendly service. Decent kebab. Ingredients fresh, good quality, homemade. Crusty pita bread. In summary, a pleasant and relaxed dining experience. Over 12 euros for a kebab? Confident. And to be honest, you can get better ones for less money. (For example at Rüyam - but the atmosphere isn't that nice there.) The mezze are more like alternatives to the kebab, rather than a starter that we would have liked to have, but they are also very tasty and priced above average. Last but not least - never an issue in countries like Spain or Italy, unfortunately often in Germany: especially if a glass of red wine costs 7.50, it should be at the right temperature. The "room temperature" that is always mentioned for red wines is not 27-30 degrees, when it is just that warm in the dining room, but always 17-20 degrees, like in the wine cellar. On warm days I like 17 degrees. At least the ice cubes I ordered arrived quickly...
