We ate there yesterday. The rice we had two days ago smelled strong. The meat was tasty. We spent the evening and the next morning on the toilet with stomach cramps. Conclusion: Avoid!

The kebab is good, but they sat us at 3 separate tables, we paid more than our bill because we didn't have change. This is not a tavern. My advice to those coming from Istanbul, don't come here. It may be a good restaurant, but it's not a good tavern. The music isn't good anyway.

The food (yogurtlu köfte) arrived at the table not even lukewarm. For €22.90, that's pretty meager. At first, I didn't want to leave a tip, but I forced myself to give it €24. The waiter gave me €5 back and asked if that was okay! What a joke! I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend it to anyone.

We had the chance to eat at a Turkish restaurant by chance and we were really pleased. The mixed grill was more than satisfactory with both its taste and the size of its portion. The kunefe we ​​tried afterwards was great – just the right consistency and very tasty. But the prices were a bit expensive. I think the fact that you can’t pay by card was also a minus. The gentleman who took care of us provided us with a pleasant and attentive service, which made it a pleasant evening. It will be a place we will choose again on our next visit to Berlin.

We actually tried the other Adana kebap restaurant around the corner first, but they completely ignored us—we stood at the entrance and no one even acknowledged us. At Öz Adana, it was the complete opposite. The staff welcomed us warmly and were very helpful. They even arranged a table outside for us, just as we asked. While we waited, they served us Turkish tea, which was a lovely touch. The food arrived quickly, and the bread was served warm—a must for kebap! The Adana kebap was delicious! As for the mezes, they were good, but I think the flavors could be fine-tuned a bit to better match the traditional local taste—for example, adding a little lemon and salt to the hummus. The acılı ezme was nice too, but not quite the flavor we were expecting. Still, definitely come here and enjoy the great food and warm service!

Special praise goes to our waiter, Rafet, who made the evening perfect with his friendly and attentive manner. He was present at all times without being intrusive and gave us excellent advice. We visited your restaurant on May 11, 2025 around 17-18.30 and we would like to share our experience with you. The taste of the food was normal, neither too good nor too bad. Congratulations to your kitchen team on this. However, our overall experience unfortunately did not meet even a quarter of our expectations. First of all, the fact that the toilets were very dirty and neglected constituted a major problem in terms of hygiene. Also the service was very slow; We had to wait a long time until our order arrived. Despite this, the employees were very polite, and this was the only detail we noted with pleasure. When we sat at the table, they asked us our payment method and we stated that we wanted to pay by card. However, when we came to the payment stage, they said there was a problem with their card machine and they only accept cash payments. If we didn't have enough cash with us, we would be in a really difficult situation. Not stating this clearly at the beginning is a serious lack of communication. In general, we were not satisfied in terms of price-performance. The restaurant offered an experience that far from meeting our expectations. We hope that the necessary improvements will be made.

Das schlechteste Restauranterlebnis, das wir je hatten. Im Restaurant sehr hoher Lärmpegel. An den Wänden flackern Bildschirme mit Werbung. Kellner wirken gehetzt und überfordert, obwohl nur ein Drittel der Tische besetzt. Wir wählten Lammfleisch mit Yoghurt, Tomatensauce und Aubergine. Die Gerichte waren vor den Getränken am Tisch. Lammfleisch lauwarm, zäh und fad. Tomatensauce kalt, Aubergine nur in winzigen Spuren vorhanden. Beim Bezahlen steckt der Kellner das Geld wortlos ein und verschwindet. Überteuert, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unterirdisch.

Food was bad in my opinion. Meat too dry and not seasoned. I felt like I was eating salad with salad. The tomatoes on the Adana plate weren't even grilled. The rice was sold out and we got BurgerKing fries as a replacement. On the whole, I would much rather eat at Nahas City Chicken (Rohsentahlerplatz). trust me

If you can’t be honest about payments, what else are you cutting corners on? The food was painfully mediocre, bland, and overpriced. The service was just as bad—slow, uninterested, and unapologetic. Avoid this scammy place unless you enjoy being lied to and ripped off.

Tonight I went to this restaurant and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The waiter brought me a dish that I had not ordered and despite my repeated requests to swap it for the dish I had chosen, he rudely and unpleasantly insisted that I had to eat what he had brought me. Not only was this extremely unprofessional, but it also felt like the customer had no right to decide what they wanted to eat. As if that wasn't bad enough, they questionably took a tip from me when I was paying, even though I didn't want to give one. I also asked several times for an official receipt, but they refused to give me one - completely dubious and unacceptable behavior. If you're looking for a restaurant where customers are respected and treated fairly, you should definitely look elsewhere. I will definitely not be returning! Went with a group of 13 of us from the office. We ordered everything to share and it was all delicious. I could happily eat their bread and hummus for the rest of my life. Sooo good!

Seit 1975 gibt es das Öz Adana in Berlin Kreuzberg. Das ist eine Institution die verpflichtet. Ich habe mit einer Mercimec Corba gestartet und es war wahrscheinlich die beste Mercimec die ich je gegessen habe. Dazu gibt es Brot das über dem Feuer geröstet wird und dabei immer kurz auf dem Fleisch liegt. Der Geschmack von Fleisch und Rauch zieht in das Brot. Normalerweise stehe ich nicht so auf Limette in der Suppe, aber der cremige Geschmack der Suppe mit einem feinen Limettenaroma und dem gegrillten rauchigen Brot, ist ein unglaubliches Genusserlebnis. Nach dieser Suppe bin ich mit hoher Erwartung an den Grillteller gegangen. Hier war ich etwas enttäuscht. Der Grillteller ist eher billig, ein Pirzola, ein Lammspiess, Rippchen (sehr fettig) und Hähnchenflügel. Ich habe dazu eine Cola getrunken, Tee ging aufs Haus, zusammen mit ein bisschen Trinkgeld habe ich 40 € bezahlt - na ja geht so.

Didn't look expensive from the outside, but when 4 poor 10th grade students walked in on a school trip to Berlin, it became clear that the cheap restaurant charges €10 for a Dürüm and €3.50 for 0.2L of drink. We went in poor and came out even poorer. However, due to the lack of change, a tip of one euro is sometimes required. But the food was good, hence 3 stars. 👍 PS: Attention!!! The tea is hot.

Unfortunately the staff was very unfriendly, no hello or goodbye, no questions, nothing at all. The food is very expensive, especially since there is no good value for money. The bread arrived burnt and had to be replaced, and the drink arrived in the wrong sizes.

Unfortunately, we didn't like the fact that you had to order everything separately, such as dips or mezze, which usually comes with the meal, but ordering it again separately is just another thing. You can't choose between bulgur or fries, bulgur always comes with fries and it costs extra and that's a shame because not everyone likes bulgur and it's left on the plate. The location is a bit small and cramped, the seats are close together, but there's usually nothing you can do about that. In terms of service, the gentleman was very nice.

Disappointing experience at Öz Adana We were really disappointed with our visit to Öz Adana. We found a small piece of bone on the minced meat skewer, which obviously spoiled the enjoyment considerably. After just trying the skewer and then returning it, we were still charged full price, without any accommodation or apology. Customer service and quality really leave a lot to be desired here. Unfortunately, after this experience, we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Food tastes good, but you get ripped off by the cellars because they aren't transparent about your desired orders. I wanted some yogurt on my Tavuk plate. They charged €7 for yogurt. Usury, nothing more needs to be said about the restaurant.
