Das Essen war in Ordnung. Ich hatte Roti zum Hühnchen-Korma erwartet, aber alles wurde stattdessen mit Reis serviert. Der Tee war gut und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Erwarten Sie jedoch keinen herzlichen Empfang oder besonders freundlichen Service.

Der Ort ist preiswert, ruhig und hygienisch, und die Qualität des Essens ist ebenfalls hervorragend.

Solider Inder, große Portionen für kleines Geld. Sind öfter in der Mittagspause dort.

Wer gerne Indisch isst, der sollte unbedingt hierher kommen 😊 Ich komme öfter hier essen, weil es eine große Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Gerichten gibt und alle schmecken richtig gut. Bei der Kasse stehen zusätzliche Soßen für ein bisschen Individualität. Zudem können Soßen und andere Kleinigkeiten direkt vor Ort erworben werden. Richtig lecker ist auch der selbstgemachte Mango Lassi Saft!

Wir waren heute, Ostersamstag, mittags zu Fünft zum Essen hier. Alles war köstlich, preisgünstig, und der Verkäufer war extrem freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich gehe seit der Eröffnung immer wieder in das Restaurant, in dem nicht nur sehr leckere Speisen serviert werden, sondern auch eine ruhige Atmosphäre herrscht und eine sehr sympathische Besitzerin mit vielseitigem Blick offensichtlich vieles frisch kocht. Dankeschön.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Besuch in diesem Restaurant und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker und wurde angenehm warm serviert. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass uns die angebotenen Gerichte ausführlich erklärt wurden – inklusive der Zutaten und Zubereitung. Das hat uns ein gutes Gefühl gegeben und die Vorfreude auf das Essen noch gesteigert. Der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und ausgesprochen höflich. Wir haben uns jederzeit willkommen und gut umsorgt gefühlt. Auch für unsere zweijährige Tochter wurde sich viel Zeit genommen: Wir wurden toll beraten, und während wir in Ruhe essen konnten, hatte sie in der Spielecke riesigen Spaß. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Restaurant lässt sich außerdem wunderbar mit einem Spaziergang verbinden, und ein Spielplatz in der Nähe macht den Ausflug perfekt für Familien. Wir werden das in Zukunft definitiv öfter so machen und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir gehen hier seit 5 Jahren eher selten essen. Das Essen ist schlicht aber lecker, zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Die Spielecke für Kinder macht es hier für uns Eltern besonders gut. Normalerweise hätte ich insgesamt 4 Sterne dafür vergeben. Heute habe ich hier das erste Mal eine neue Bedienung gesehen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich, freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Ich habe mich direkt sehr viel wohler gefühlt. Das ist mir auf jeden Fall den extra Stern wert. Weiter so! Und vielen herzlichen Dank ❤️

Staff didn’t seem interested and has attitude problem. Biryani was barely warm and rice was overcooked. Other food was left open and stagnant with many flies there and that was unhygienic. Very disappointing as this was the place I had been planning to go upon reaching Heidelberg due to the presence of halal food

Super delicious and super friendly. They even made us a quick takeaway after work while they were still cleaning up. We could even eat up front and just leave everything. The food was really delicious. We'd go back anytime!

This restaurant is just awesome! The food is incredibly tasty, the portions are huge, and the prices are absolutely fair - especially as a student, I really celebrate that. You can get really good food here without hurting your wallet. Every dish I've tried so far has been just next level. You can taste that everything is made fresh and the spices are on point. I can really recommend that everyone just try out the menu – there is no such thing as “ordering wrong” here. But my personal highlight is the homemade mango juice that always comes with the meal. It's so fresh and fruity that I could order another one every time. Added to this is the super nice staff – really warm and attentive without being intrusive. You simply feel comfortable and welcome here. Conclusion: If you haven't been here yet, you're really missing out. Absolute recommendation, I keep coming back! P.s.: everything here is 100% Helal, which is very important to me personally.

Excellent Indian cuisine in Heidelberg! I had the pleasure of eating at Kashmir Tandoori Bahnstadt and it was simply amazing! From the first second I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home in the cozy atmosphere. The restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Indian dishes, prepared with love and dedication. I was particularly impressed with the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The spices were perfectly balanced and the portions were more than generous. The mango lassi was also a real treat – fresh, creamy and not too sweet. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can immediately tell that customer satisfaction is important here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very welcoming and pleasant, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. I can only warmly recommend the Kashmir Tandoori Bahnstadt. Authentic Indian cuisine of the highest standard is served here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The Kashmir Tandoori in Bahnstadt is really great! The food is delicious and very good value for money. You also feel really comfortable there and the children love the play area. We could eat here every day. I can only recommend it!

I have been a loyal customer of the Kashmir Tandoori in Bahnstadt for years. The prices are extremely fair for the quality offered, the service is always friendly and the food has never disappointed me! My favorite dishes have always been chicken korma and chicken tandoori. But all the other dishes I tried there were also extremely tasty. I can therefore highly recommend the Kashmir Tandoori - it is always my favorite choice, especially for the lunch break! 😊

Unfortunately, I definitely can't recommend it... I ordered a palak paneer to take away and what can I say: the rice was already hard in some places and the accompanying sauce was audibly warmed up in the microwave.

Nice little restaurant outside of the city center. The prices are awesome. Large mango lassi €2.50, large portion of vegetable curry €7. Where else can you get that? And both mango lassi and food were very tasty. If I didn't live so far away I would definitely be there regularly

The food comes from a warm display, but it is always very tasty and does not taste old/stale. The prices are very attractive, especially for students, and justify the fact that the food is not freshly prepared. The portion sizes are decent and I've never left the store hungry. The fact that the employee is on the phone almost constantly isn't exactly ideal, but it's never bothered me at a snack bar of this type.

Unfortunately today we had 2 portions of spoiled Chicken Tandoori (which turned sour) which we had to throw away. Have been going to this restaurant regularly for lunch for years.

Not sure how you can make Indian food so flavorless, but they have succeeded. Absolutely below average food.

Ich bestelle hier schon seit Jahren und werde leider immer wieder enttäuscht. An sich schmecken die Gerichte sehr gut aber die Qualität des Essens ist leider auch sehr wechselnd. Oft kommt es einem vor als wäre die Soße mit Wasser verdünnt worden und dementsprechend fad schmeckt es dann auch. Bei dem Menü das wir immer bestellen sind eigentlich 2 Mango Lassis dabei, welche des Öfteren einfach fehlen (wie auch heute wieder) und im Laden anrufen kann man vergessen, da nimmt niemand ab. Außerdem werden die Mango-Lassis seit Jahren mit 0,5Liter angegeben, sie kommen aber immer in 0,4 Liter Bechern.

Gutes günstiges indisches Essen. Einziger Kritikpunkt war die Schärfe. Mein Menü hätte scharf sein sollen, war jedoch mild und das von meiner Frau schärfer.

Wir haben über die App bestellt. Der Bestellvorgang war einfach und weitgehend gut. Es fehlte die Möglichkeit anzugeben, dass man eine Firma ist. So wird die Lieferung an eine Firmenadresse etwas schwieriger. Nachdem das Essen 40 Minuten nach dem angegebenen Lieferzeitpunkt nicht da war, hatte ich versucht anzurufen. Das gestaltete sich etwas aufwendiger. Erst war niemand zu erreichen und dann wurde mir eine andere Rufnummer gegeben. Dort habe ich dann erfahren, dass sie dachten, wir holen das Essen ab – obwohl ausdrücklich Lieferung bestellt wurde. Die Lieferung war dann ebenfalls schwierig. Der Fahrer wurde von seinem Navi an eine falsche Adresse geführt. Rund 200 m Luftlinie entfernt. Durch mehrere Anrufe kam das Essen dann endlich an. Das Essen war, trotz dieser Odyssee, immer noch sehr warm. Damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Eine positive Überraschung. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und qualitativ auch gut. Daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Daher ist es sicher zu empfehlen, wenn man vor Ort isst oder abholt.

Super für Vegetarier und Veganer! Überraschend viele vegetarische Gerichte und super lecker, gar nicht teuer. Besser als manches hochstilisierte indische Restaurant bei dem man halt die Dekoration mitbezahlt.

Spices are a bit dialed down to appease to the German taste buds, but otherwise, it was pretty good. Would visit again.

Indian Imbiss with a variety of pre-cooked dishes ready to order. The service is friendly and efficient and the curries are tasty, but they are extremely stingy with the meat. Order a small portion of chicken korma and you'll get 3 tiny pieces of chicken, < 50g. Order the big portion and you get the same 3 tiny pieces of chicken, now with a bit more sauce and twice the rice. In sum: good for vegetarians and those carbo-loading and looking for a quick, cheap and tasty lunch. Not good as a balanced meal. To the owners and servers: please stop being so stingy with the meat! Chicken isn't that expensive.

The food taste & ambiance was pretty average.The service was not very welcoming too.Chai & mango lassi was good but the rest of the food had no taste at all. If you are looking for authentic Indian/Pakistani food, there are much better options. Also they don’t accept cards, cash only which was inconvenient, especially during the pandemic.
