In the past, the food and service were always very good, and we ate there often. Unfortunately, the quality has declined recently, and we've also experienced stomach upset twice after eating there with salad. Therefore, we feel the price-performance ratio is no longer acceptable. We've since tried other branches, and the food is often better there. They're cutting corners here; for example, the portion of pomegranate seeds is divided between three meals... so sometimes there are six seeds in a kids' box because they're stretching it out.

The food was excellent and as spicy as described. It was quite quiet on a Sunday. We'll definitely come again!

A visit to top chef Martin Scharff at Heidelberg Castle is always worthwhile – whether for dinner, a kitchen party in the castle wine tavern, or a grand dinner show in the castle or courtyard. I recently attended the current dinner show, "The Music of Queen," which included a four-course meal, and it was a fantastic evening: a wonderful atmosphere, superb food, and the best Queen cover band I've ever heard. Highly recommended! I will definitely also be checking out the upcoming dinner shows, "The Music of U2" and "The Music of Sting."
