The food is perfect, the goulash tastes like mother used to make it

No wonder German restaurants are dying out!! So, the schnitzel from the deep fryer, the fried potatoes warmed up from the fridge, and... red cabbage, which wasn't really that great either. I haven't been so disappointed for the price in a long time. Just close the place and stop ripping people off. Oh, and card payments aren't possible either... but no wonder if maybe only 20-30 people a day eat there.

From the potato counter to the disappointment counter – once good, today just cheeky and unloving I have known the so-called potato counter in Forum Köpenick for many years and used to enjoy having lunch there. The portions were generous, the food was solid home cooking, e.g. B. Goulash with dumplings and green beans for €8.50 – absolutely fair. Today you pay over €11 for the same meal - but unfortunately there is nothing left of it except the price. The food now just seems carelessly slapped onto the plate, visually somewhere between school lunch and a “take it or die” buffet. But what particularly annoys me is that the dumplings are constantly running out, and not just by chance. No matter whether on weekdays at 3:30 p.m. or like today (Saturday, before 2 p.m.!) - again no dumplings. And this is not the first, but at least the third time in a row that exactly this has happened. What makes it even worse is the attitude of the staff - two older women who immediately show how indifferent they are to everything. No greeting, no friendliness, no effort. When I expressed my disappointment that there were no dumplings again, I received rude answers like: “Yeah, then go eat somewhere else.” “What can we do about it if the boss buys so little?” No apology, no alternatives offered, just pure ignorance. Before you've even finished speaking, they turn to the next customer. This isn't gastronomy - it's a shameful act of alienating customers. As a side dish, they simply popped red cabbage onto my plate without asking, even though the board said: “Red cabbage or green beans”. I wanted green beans – but wasn’t asked. When I brought this up, they immediately said, with that “kiss my ass” attitude: “We haven’t!” I pointed at the board, and the next stupid answer came: "Do you want us to keep climbing up there and writing down that it's all?" The message was clear: It doesn't matter what's on the board - you get what we have, whether you want it or not. If you look at the other Google reviews, the picture is confirmed: unfriendliness, loveless food, no card payments (!), and prices that are now at restaurant level. At a time when even smaller snack bars accept modern payment methods, cash payments are still mandatory here - that's simply no longer up to date. By the way, the food itself is no longer what it once was: the potatoes have a thick skin - it looks like they were chemically peeled, the red cabbage tastes like it comes from a can or a jar, and the goulash tastes far removed from what it used to be. By the way, I myself come from the East and know exactly what I mean when I say: This behavior is reminiscent of the old GDR times, when in some village restaurant you were given the feeling that the customer was more of a nuisance than welcome. Conclusion: The potato counter used to be an insider tip for hearty German cuisine. Today it is just a prime example of poor service, rising prices and absolute customer ignorance. I definitely won't eat there again. And I can only advise everyone to spend their money elsewhere.

The eisbein here is delicious (well boiled and not too salty) and it is the cheapest in the area.

Pasta goulash for €9.40... Well, what else can I say? But the saleswoman was really rude. It was actually pretty cheeky to serve something like that to a customer. Once and never again.

Never seen such unfriendly service. They shouldn't even give them a star. I wanted to order takeaway at lunchtime and stood in line to order, as is normal. Then the waitress refused to serve me because I was on my phone, and served the customers behind me first. I even removed the phone from my mouth and spoke directly to the waitress. I don't know where they get the right to prevent a customer from using their phone. You don't get served if you're on the phone. You just say your order and leave. Meanwhile, the packaged, ready-made potatoes were simply sitting next to the counter where everyone walks past them. No "please" or "thank you" is said there; I've truly never seen such unfriendly waitresses. They're always in a bad mood and take it out on the customers. I wouldn't recommend anyone continue to invest money there.

No card payments because the manager doesn't allow it... The tax office will take care of it. The butcher 10 meters away has a similar offer with a card option, but unfortunately, I didn't notice it until later. However, future purchasing decisions are easier. The food quality was below average, but the prices were above average.

It used to be very tasty there, but today it wasn't good. The prices are absolutely exorbitant for what you get to take away. (I'm including photos) 11 euros for a small portion of goulash to take away. It also tasted bitter and the noodles were disgustingly soft. I hope I don't get a stomach ache. It's just a shame because it used to be great there.

Self-service restaurant with exclusively German cuisine. Inexpensive by today's standards. Food could have been hotter, but otherwise tasty. The filter coffee is bitter and has probably been on the plate for ages. The staff was averagely friendly, but served quickly. Conclusion: If you don't have too high demands on your lunch, you'll quickly get full here.

Farmer's and noodle omelette for the price too little ham and egg, too oily and weak

I had dinner there with my mother today. We had chicken schnitzel or pork schnitzel with mushrooms and fried potatoes. The food was really subpar. The fried potatoes were pale, not crispy and barely seasoned. The mushrooms tasted like they had just been warmed from a can, the water from them soggy the breading on the bottom of the meat. The chicken schnitzel had no taste, as did the pork schnitzel. The breading puffed up around the meat and tasted of slightly older frying oil. The 4 employees were talking loudly about private things, so my waiting time for the order was quite long. However, I was the only one waiting, which apparently didn't interest anyone. We were totally disappointed and will definitely not come back. Unfortunately you have to rate it with one star. 0 stars would be deserved

Delicious German cuisine. Nice and funny staff and a real Berliner Muddi. 👍🏼😄 Food top, prices top. We'd love to come back.

Deutsche Küche mit Qualität im Bereich eines Kantineessen. Die Damen haben Berliner Humor. Sitzgelegenheit zur Mittagszeit etwas knapp. Essen liegen bei 7,50 €.

Delicious German dishes, reasonalbe price, friendly people.

Drei Damen an der Theke ,quatschen und schnattern , aber das bestellte Essen wird nicht zubereitet . Bestellungen , der Nachfolgenden Kunden wird sogar an den Tisch gebracht. Nach 20. min und Erinnerung , stehen die Teller endlich auf dem beschmatterten Tisch (na lecker) und dann noch die Geschmacks Enttäuschung.. Bratkartoffeln ohne Speck und Zwiebeln dazu Remoulade (nicht bestellt) auf den grauen Matjes deplatziert 😡 ein 🌟, da mein Mann, bis auf den versäuerten Rotkohl zu Frieden war ... na dann , bon Appetit
